I had an idea for a board game. I originally created for fun but I thought of making my own rendition of a board game. I added in some themes to match the trivial questions I would include in the board game. These questions would focus on pop culture but be based on movies, TV, music, and other themes listed in this post.

Spillet består av tre spillere. Hver spiller representerer hvert sitt land, Kina, India eller USA. Brettspillet foregår på mars, hvor disse landene har kræsjlandet.

Målet med spillet er å skaffe seg tre forskjellige brikker, som befinner seg på de oransje områdene på brettet, for å sette sammen et romskip for å kunne reise hjem. Man trenger ikke å få nøyaktig antall øyne på terningen for å stoppe på de oransje feltene. Før man får brikken, må man svare på et quiz spørsmål som handler om verdensrommet. Når man har skaffet seg én romskip-del må man gå helt tilbake til basen for å legge fra seg brikken, før man kan gå å hente en ny romskip-del. I tillegg til å bygge romskipet, må man skaffe seg 5 brikker med drivstoff, som man får ved å lande på feltene markert med rødt.

Det er også mulig å stjele en romskip-del, drivstoff eller oksygen fra de andre spillerne. Enten ved å lande på deres felt, eller ved å gå til basen deres når de ikke er der. Det er bare nok brikker til å bygge to fullstendige romskip, og siden det er tre spillere, må man derfor eventuelt stjele.

En annen faktor i spillet er oksygen. I begynnelsen av spillet blir hver spiller tildelt tre brikker med oksygen. Man kan miste eller få ekstra oksygen, avhengig av hvilken av de blå feltene du havner på. Hvis du mister alle brikkene med oksygen, taper du spillet.

De grønne feltene på kartet er sjanse-kort som kan gi deg en fordel eller en ulempe i spillet, som at du må stå over en runde, eller at du mister brikken din.

Oh yeah, you're right, looking closer at it it does seem like there was a decline in quality. I have to wonder if 3 was just rushed getting out compared to one and two.

I don't know what the problem is but maybe it's because my family's all older than me (lone millenial in a sea of Gen X and boomers)

No I haven't gotten an email yet--I had seen something on Facebook and Twitter about an email but I haven't received one yet.

Wouldn't it be funny if that happened? Like, suddenly, your soul leaves your body during the picture, and there's an orb of light floating over your head once the photo is printed out? 🤣

Ah, so Kenny is consistent with that. I knew that Ben was Mitchell's first gig, and Julie was Madi's first role. So, Zac, too, huh? And yeah, I love that Kenny gives every young actor or actress a chance, even though they have zero experience.

So it's not just my imagination, then? I had a problem looking at the effects because they hurt my eyes.

Or maybe the difference is that my family doesn't care much about Christmas. My grandparents got kicked out of Church in the 60s because they couldn't pay the Church tax. Very Christian, huh? So Christmas doesn't have meaning for us. Just three days off with too much food and a tree for the cats to knock over.

My resolve crumbled yesterday, and I bought the boardgames activity too. And yes, I saw. I was supposed to study for a work-related exam. But I have to postpone this. I now have to study for the quiz! 🤣 Priorities!!

He has to teach us during the 1 on 1. 😁

I always imagined myself on the show but would need so many accommodations - electricity, a refrigerator, a soft bed or hammock at least and bottled water to name a few, and now, my rollator and / or a soft place to sit, so i never applied. I am a retired public policy researcher, but am a real life survivor of multiple hardships, so Im already a kick a-- winner, and i aint afraid of a few... raccoons!
