One of my favorite things from Hogan’s Heroes is when Hogan gets real mad, which is rare. He does this swagger-walk with his hands in his back pockets:
And yelling, which is hot ngl:
(Also love Newkirk and LeBeau in the background watching shit go down)
The 1967 Barbara McNair episode of Hogan’s Heroes seems to be the only one currently purged from Amazon Prime.
In this episode, Ivan Dixon uses the Adam Clayton Powell catch phrase, “Keep the faith, baby!” to great laugh track approval.
Barbara McNair plays a Detroit torch singer employed by a Nazi clubowner. Ivan Dixon wants to recruit her for a secret mission to steal Nazi defense plans.
She shouts at him, “What makes you think you can walk in here and casually ask me to jeopardize everything I’ve built up all my life? Even risk my life! For what? What? For a country that gave me nothing - and I mean Not. A. Thing.”
Was watching Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and was shocked when Zorak suddenly dropped Bob Crane's name! Happens toward the end of episode "$20.01" around 18:30 to 18:50. This might be the most unlikely sitcom in the history of TV, and that includes all those starring an unattractive male comedian who somehow had a super hot wife. “Hogan’s Heroes” a COMEDY set in a World War II nazi prisoner of…
OK FAM after tons of scouring the internet I present for your imagination a Hogan’s Heroes high school AU based on actual photos of the guys at that age.
SO. FREAKING. ADORABLE. Let the head cannons flow, I’ll start. (LeBeau would totally be the kid brother that gets protected by the others)
Robert Scheerer’s 1969 ABC TV version of ARSENIC AND OLD LACE starred: Helen Hayes, Bob Crane, Lillian Gish, Fred Gwynne, Sue Lyon, Bob Dishy, and Jack Gilford
