May the Fourth be with you! Happy Star Wars day! Have a current related WIP to celebrate! Next step is the shading.

Coincidentally I've been getting back into Star Wars a lot lately. This isn't like my usual Disney art, but I wanted to try something new, so I decided to give drawing some SW characters in a semi-realistic style.

I love Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, as both a badass duo and also as a ship, so I figured I'd give drawing them a go!

i love how fennec shand's whole character arc is just clones all the way down.

i bet when she woke up after being operated on to find herself looking into the face of yet another clone she was like "of course" and kept stepping.

Look I have never thought of bobaxfennec as a couple but also the thought of these two stony faced badasses being grumpy with the entire world but then when it’s just the two of them being lovesick goofballs just really make me melt🥰

Hi all! Welcome to @bobaxfennec - the one blog on Tumblr right now that collects all the posts of this wonderful ship!

Names of the ship have been a bit all over the place, and I’ve seen a variety of tags being used. My personal favorite is “Bobannec Plague”, but I figured BobaXFennec would be easier for people to find and recognize if they’re new to the ship and looking for content!

Let’s do a little FAQ, shall we?

How do you tag your reblogs?

Edit - all gifsets + stuff people photoshopped (excluding memes) Fans - all the things fans say, which includes a lot of thirst, some cool plot ideas, as well as comedy/memes for the ship Fanart - speaks for itself, all fanarts, drawn media. Fanfic - all fanfics and prompts and drabbles

Will you only reblog Bobannec stuff?

No, I’ll also reblog posts that are more focussed on Boba and Fennec individually or just on their partnership in a non-romantic way. This is more to make sure the queue doesn’t dry up. I’m not trying to find *all* Boba fanarts, but I am trying to find and reblog *all* fanarts of Boba X Fennec together.  I will also reblog things that include Boba and Fennec in a non-shippy way. So, for example, fanart of the squad that includes Mando, Boba, Fennec, Cara, etc. I will not likely reblog content that’s very very clearly made for another ship. So if it’s Cara x Fennec and Boba is in the fanart, for example, I probably won’t reblog it.

Can I submit things?

I don’t really have a submit form, but you may always bother me in a PM or chat with a link to your Boba + Fennec stuff and I’ll be sure to queue it up! I do check specific tags regularly (Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Bobannec, Bobannec Plague) so I catch a lot, but probably not all. If you see @cartoonjessie liked your stuff, that means it’s in the queue or already reblogged. ;-) 

Will you remove my stuff from your blog? 

Link me to where I reblogged it and I’ll delete it. I’m not here to make your tumblr experience miserable and if for some reason you don’t want your stuff on a shipper blog, I understand. But you gotta link me to the specific posts before I can comply. 

Can I bother you with asks?

Yes, certainly! If you have prompt ideas, feel free to send them in an ask, or if you want to discuss something that happened in the show or something you learned, hit me up! That way you don’t have to put a separate post about it on your blog if that’s not the style of your blog, and fellow shippers can still read your thoughts or ideas.  I’m also always open for thirst messages regarding Boba and/or Fennec.  Keep in mind: asks will most likely get published, if you wish to discuss things in private, chat will be a better option! 

Will there be events? 

I’m most definitely open to the idea of events, challenges, prompt-weeks and more! But I think the ship and blog still needs to grow a little before we can organize anything and expect more than 2 people to participate. ;-)

:0 recently read all three of your bobannec oneshots on ao3 and I’m just.. . speechless. Like they are so amazing! Amazing characterization, you write them both so well- it feels so on brand as them but also very original and creative. if my thoughts were more coherent I would write more, but to put it simply, you are so talented & I am super excited to see more of bobaxfennec & other works from you in the future :D

thank you so much, you are so kind. honestly it‘s comments like these that keep me going 😭 I’ve been having a hard time writing lately and it means so much! I don’t have any bobannec planned down the pipeline right now, but feel free to send me a prompt or whatever whenever you want! I can’t promise when i’ll get to it but i’m keeping track of every ask/prompt i’ve received and am not going to abandon them!
