I’m not toned and trim, I don’t have a smooth hairless body, I‘m not in love with my skin color, but I wore a bikini in Puerto Rico last week on the beach and celebrated life. My chaffed thighs and bikini bumps and cellulite saw the sun and I ate meat on a stick and drank fancy cocktails without worrying about calories or what other people thought. If any of this makes you cringe, thinking “Good for you, but no way could I possibly…” here’s the secret —it’s HARD and it takes a lot of WORK. hate wakin up n my first thoughts bein sui ideation (heard from a reputable source that "kinda wantin to not exist rn" is also sui ideation) but bein too tired to properly cope so u r just stuck there scrollin phone goin "i can't deal w/ any of this shit (the crushing weight of two tasks)" until u need to get up

my brain feels utterly spent n like there's a wet n heavy woollen blanket on top of me suffocating me n separating me from rly experiencing anything n everything is dirty n grimy n filthy n disgusting

n my fuckin shoulder hurts n it'll just keep hurting worse in the future n it's my own fucking fault so i kinda deserve it as a constant reminder of failure

food turns to ash in my mouth n nobody's comin to help. others need help more anyway. so i'll take this battered n bruised bodyconsciousness n i'll take whatever pills n stab myself w/ some needles n put on any gels they tell me to so i can crawl my way forwards n hope i can one day curl up under a tree n sleep until i wake up rested n pain-free n feeling light as a feather w/ the ringing in my ears ceased. until that day the stumps of my wings will itch n twitch cuz deep down i know i wasn't made for this world

Hace unos 20 años📆 trabajé en una fábrica de Ropa Interior y literal, no me entraba nada de lo que hacían. Todos los conjuntos, del 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ en adelante, eran de "vieja" 👵. Esos que eran medio armados y con puntilla tejida🧶 por la nona. Desde ahí (un poco antes también), sentí frustración de no poder usar prendas que me gustarán. Y como la Vida es para vivirla y cumplir sueños, pensé que en algún momento me iba a vengar de la fucking moda 🥀 jaja. Así, creé Como Una Plegaria, aprendí a escuchar-nos 🧐 y escuchar-me👂🏼 y mezclar lo que me gusta, con lo que necesitas. De lo mucho que me gusta coser 🧵y de lo que fui aprendiendo de Diseño 🖌️🎨 y tomarlo como Juego. . De eso se trata Emprender. Tiene Miles de beneficios y Miles de trabas. The girl in this picture from one year ago was uncomfortable in her skin... she wore fake lashes because she was self conscious when hers were falling out, she wore spanx because of the size of her bum, she was retaining so much extra water that she was 30 lbs heavier (from fluid)... this girl is no longer afraid to say that sometimes I hate that my hair and lashes fall out and I supplement. I dislike the fluid gain that made me extra uncomfortable and I most certainly have a goal to embrace this body - scars and all... sometimes with a few added features to help a girl out... don’t judge if you don’t know

And then I when I saw this video I felt #bodyconscious... I have been more toned than I am right now. I work out regularly but I also #liveforlife And then I thought to myself why should I be embarrassed of my body?????? This is how it is living right now. And you know what? I love every square millimeter of it. It has been through pain. It has experienced pleasure. It has provided pleasure. It has held weary souls. It has tensed up in front of fear. It holds my voice. It is a nonstop working miracle. I am ashamed that I even felt like I wasn’t ... Beautiful... Just the way my parents and my ancestors made me. Some may see this as being a bit too much info, that I lack “pudeur” but I am just showing myself love. And just want any lady who is reading this to know... That love starts from within...
