I think the best way to explain why I like the Night Lords is like this. There's an old joke where someone asks John Lennon at the height of Beatlemania if, since they're the world's most famous band, does that mean Ringo Starr is the best drummer in the world?

And John Lennon says, "Ringo Starr isn't even the best drummer in the Beatles."

Good joke. Everybody laugh.

On paper they're a legion of stealthy goth space vampires. Fantastic.

But trying to be stealthy and goth compared to the Raven Guard or space vampires at the same time as the Blood Angels is just unfortunate. Or, as Konrad says to the homemade meat-Emperor statue in his primarch book:

Imagine what I could have done had you given the same gifts to me? How much more perfect a monster I would have been had the shadows loved me as much as they loved Corax!

I know this is why some people dislike Konrad and the Quiet Bat People generally. Fair enough. But for me, the psychological damage from the insurmountable gap between what they think they are and what they actually are is one of their most entertainingly tragic aspects. Even an absolute chad like Sevatar can't seem to escape it.

Like it says in ADB's trilogy, they wanted to be heroes and look how that turned out.

From Madrid although I'm not detecting any Spanish. Goes RIGHT in on track 1 and is consistent the entire way through. No breaks whatsoever. This is an awesome EP that delivers exactly what you want if you're into deathcore / death metal.
