Every frickin day of my life I mourn the fact that Luzu wasn't able to consistently log onto the QSMP. I mourn the friendships he could've built with people from Day 1, the changes to the story that would've come from it, and I mourn the fact that most fans don't know how insanely good Luzu is at roleplaying, and creating fascinating yet tragic stories.

idk if it’s just me but i feel like so many criticisms of this season boil down to expecting an actual play improv show to be as coherent and cohesive as a scripted piece of media.

and also i don’t think some of you have ever played dnd and it shows

#fantasy high #prefacing to say that i’m not against criticism of the show or whatever #everyone has their own opinions and that’s fine #but i’m getting really annoyed by how many people are acting like their personal narrative dissatisfaction means some part of the show was #objectively bad when really YOU just didn’t like it lol #and ALSO of course you won’t get full narrative satisfaction every time because it’s a TIMED ACTUAL PLAY IMPROV SHOW #the fact that we get as much interesting narrative as we do is down to brennans talent #but i can promise as someone who’s played several campaigns that nothing is ever tied in as near a bow #as brennan manages to tie his finales #which again is a real testament to him because he does it knowing he only has so many episodes to work with #while an average dm ends the story whenever the story seems concluded yanno #idk i just feel like i managed my expectations from the start so i only had fun this season haha

Normal people keep an ongoing list of Despair Characters on their phone. They gotta have some combo of depression, terrible circumstances, isolation, grief, and a commitment to Duty or a sense of Fundamental Decency that makes them drag themselves through the Horrors even though they're Unending. Often they die or are sole survivors left to live with the grief.

Crucially, they CANNOT have a happy ending. Bittersweet and melancholy and full of grief, with maybe some slight hope? Sure. But happy? Illegal. There will be no rewards for Goodness, it must be Obeyed and Pursued anyway

#the duality of fran #<-i promise i am a normal guy with normal feelings and motivations and not at all neurotic depressed #vimes starts out like this but gets to heal. as does caleb. so they dont count #orym is still up in the air #thara isnt finished yet but even if he gets with iana #i dont see k addision wrapping it uo neatly with a bow #that would cheapen the story shes put so much effort into crafting (i admit i am a little afraid. the list started with thara)#i dont actually know how Andrej ends yet either. but for now. he gets a spot #oural of glome would count except for the very ending of the book when she is transfigured. That's a (modified) Galaxy Sage she's got - well, either an actual Sage or one of the many clones of it. The brace height (the distance between the grip of the bow and the string itself) is

fully wrong;

I can only assume that someone decided that with the correct brace height, it wasn't bow-shaped enough? Who knows. It is, at least, a full sized bow. 🥹 Bows are huge!

anyway. This is my Samick Sage, same bow but the company is now... Galaxy? Painted purple, and one of two purple bows I have that Matt Fraction has signed. 😎 hashtag normal about it

this is the ✨correct brace height✨ .... Most bows aren't D-shaped, recurves definitely aren't.

my cousin made me go with her to a christian speed dating thing and there was exactly 5 men and over 30 women... it will never not make me giggle that the desire for traditional community minded women never seems to transfer to real life
