*vibrating with vocaloid related autism *
It's me vocaloid family anon
Not that you asked but maybe you'd be interested : my vocaloid family headcanon that maybe doesn't seem convoluted but my brain made me write 2 pages of backstory for this which. I will spare you of that but
Yukari and akari are siblings and they live with ia (yukaris girl-best-firend) and akari is basically The Child. Also otomachi una is yukari & akaris cousin who they have to babysit sometimes. And akari often takes her to an amusement park thats sorta close. And akaris friends with macne nana, they know each other from school.
And if i keep typing this will be 3 pages long
OMG AWWWWWW THAT'S SO SWEET,,..,...i love them so much AUGHGHHG
my headcanon isn't really that complicated and it's also too vague because i don't think the meikas are flower and xin hua's children as in like. ACTUAL kids but rather just some stupid spirit kids they take care of? and xin hua is just flower's best friend that always cheers her up whenever she most needs it HJKLSDHSHFKJ;SJKGF
but yeah there's also other relations like, flower being friends with the meme squad, close friends with gumi and frenemies with yukari and her group HSJKDHSHFJKSHGF

More himawari questions (I have exams. I'm not able to ask much so I'm sorryyyy)
- what's her favorite food?
- is she autism?
- when himawari was being made, like as an experiment, what purpose was she originally made for?
- How many failed attempts did it take to make himawari as she currently is.
- what was the uhhh... doctor guy, human himawari's father like? (I forgot the name.)
- how would himawari interact with vflower?
- how are vflower and himawari like? (Friends, strangers, besties, or however they are)
WAUGHHGHUUHGHUG ITS OK DWWWW HERE COMES THE BRAINROT SO
-himawari's favourite food is a bit tricky (much like me ngl) but i think rice is probably the easiest choice! she has a sweet spot for many sweets and almonds too although they make her intestinal issues much worse COUGH COUGH
-ngl i think she is very Autism considering how i am probably also autism but also like. her brain is literally being held by this shitty ass engine how else is she not autism
-hima wasn't being made as an experiment BUT there was an initial prototype that i'll go into the next question! the original ''purpose'' was to just find a way to re-animate himawari's dead body somewhere else because she died so young and there was the opportunity to make it happen with the hospital's project
-OK SO this is interesting and there's. so much more info about this but in short: there were a few attempts, they were all made into prototypes but the most notable prototype (that also still worked. workED tho) was a robot named maypop who had the resemblance of himawari but had no brain, basically just to test things around and see if things worked. after that himawari was made and maypop was still working, they wanted to keep both of those two but. well. maypop ended up vanishing. it may or may not be himawari's fault
-miu akabara (that's his name!) honestly, as a person, is a really. well. tired person HJKSHGKJEHJKG the poor guy had to deal with his wife and daughter dying and also overworking himself so much 😭😭 but despite that he still tries to keep his spirits up! he's not the best at it but himawari helps him a lot by cleaning the house they live in and cooking for him because he comes back really late sometimes
-GOD THIS IS HARD HSKJGHJHKEJHKJG it really depends if hima even knows vflower at all, but if she knew her i think hima would just die. on spot. imagine meeting your favourite vocaloid
-i think they don't know eachother at all ngl JSKFKEKEHG but himawari probably has heard of her? this is kinda tricky because hima barely gets exposure to the internet but it could be a potential for sure

to me there is such a thing as "the pride of an idol fan," which partly refers to actually being proud of your favorite group and boasting their achievements... but is really mostly about the idea that fans are reflections of their idols, so in order to "not bring down" your oshis, or be a fan they'd be "ashamed" of, you work really hard
it's basically generating external motivation or like a positive pressure for you to do better because you feel you carry the name of your favs in what you do, no matter how far removed. and it'd be cool if they had someone that accomplished on their side right? even if they might never know it themselves... it's all in the mindset
(recently i've been thinking about this because i've caught myself thinking things along these lines a LOT.)
