"Good. I don't want you to run off just yet." Susie @ Yui 🌸🌸

Yui had just sat down by a tree on the outskirts of what she called “The Survivor Clearing,” the campfire where everyone would congregate between trials, when she heard the familiar voice: Susie. A grin grows across her face, “Interesting, I don’t think I’ve seen you in our neck of the woods.”

As she turns to look on the other side of the tree where the voice had come from, she spots a shiv made from a ruler, pinned to the ground by the young woman’s hand. She chuckles lightly as she lifts her gaze, meeting that of Susie’s. “Now why wouldn’t you want me to run?” For a moment, Yui catches a glimpse of azure hues beneath the twisted mask, a soft smile forming across her face as she speaks, “Has the cat finally caught the mouse?”

"Ow, ow! Careful with that hug!" Sable > Rika, OR...

"Don't ever hug me again." Susie > Yui

Yui smirked with a touch of arrogance. “Aww, what’s wrong?” She shifts her stance, slouching her hip to the right side, her right hand placed gently atop it, punctuating her attitude. “Scared you might want something more?”

Headcanon for Yui:

I know it doesn't mention anything about her goggles in her tome lore, but my personal headcanon is that they're prescription goggles similar to what Dwight has in his sporty cosmetic! She doesn't need them, per se, but she is slightly nearsighted, which is why she primarily wears them while on her motorcycle. I know it's a small thing, but I love the idea of it!

{Careful.} Yui scoffs lightly at the word, looking away, back towards the direction of the campfire. “I haven’t cared about being safe for a long time.” She looks back to the killer, her tone slightly shifted. “That wasn’t the first time I’ve been left behind, and it won’t be the last.” A solitary tear dribbles down her cheek before she quickly wipes it away. “At least that time, it was on my terms.”

She gently passes her hand onto Susie’s, recoiling before truly touching the young woman’s hand. “I dont care about ‘brownie points.’ I don’t care if it’s ‘less safe.’” Yui sighs deeply, “Look, I’ve lived life on the edge even before the entity put me here.” Her eyes glossy, she looks deeply, longingly into Susie’s icy hues. “I feel… drawn to you. Okay? It isn’t to gain something other than-” she pauses for a second, struggling to push the words past her lips, her fingers lightly squeezing Susie’s, her face closer to the wiry facade.

“Than knowing you.”

"Hey, that's not very nice. Didn't your parents teach you any manners?"

The speedster turns towards the masked woman, a smirk spreading across her lips as she teases, "Nope," she chuckles. "I was raised on two mantras:" Yui holds up her thumb and forefinger, extending them one at a time to convey as confidently as she can. "Kick ass... and run fast."

The survivor stuffs her hands into her jacket pockets as she playfully bows to The Legion, head tilted in a cocky fashion. "Aww, what's wrong, blondie?" Her frame straightens as she raises a brow, the confident smirk still plastered on her face. "Can't keep up?"

Yui's smile softens as she turns more on the vehicle to face Susie, her eyes softening as her smile grows. She delicately moves a strand of Susie's hair from out of her face in an attempt to ease her flustered state. Chocolatine hues meet the doe-eyed, frosty gaze of the other, only two words softly leaving her lips, "Thank you."

Pulling her hand back, she thinks for a moment. Even though a joyride is about, well... the ride, and not the destination, Yui begins to imagine where she would want them to go, a place where they could explore, have some fun, or just relax, and then it comes to mind. "I heard the entity took a huge refinery from Ormond as a trial ground, want that to be our-" She giggles softly, happy with her newfound idea, "destination of interest?"

Yui's eyes widen, as does the smile on her face ask the pink-haired young woman removes her wiry visage, exposing her brilliant blue eyes. A slight glimpse as Susie opens her mouth to speak reveals her dental braces, causing the racer's cheeks to turn a light pink.

Her heart grows ever-so-warmer as one thought prevents her from continuing to the ride: Susie was stunningly adorable. She then realizes she is staring down the other with a huge smile on her face and giggles, the pink tones increasing in intensity as she laughs nervously.

"I- uh, sorry," she looks away quickly before making eye-contact with the woman. "You're really cute, and I just..." Yui trails off, a little embarrassed that Susie has her so flustered. "Can't take my eyes off of you."

The smile drops from Yui’s face as she recalls slamming the pallet against Susie’s skull, “Yeah..” She looks up at the young woman with a soft, longing gaze. “I’m sorry. That was a pretty… dick move.” She looks down for a moment, a feeling of shame washing over her, “Especially after what the other survivors did to you.”

She empathically rubs her forehead. “That has to hurt, doesn’t it?” Her brow furrows as she thinks. “I always wanted to know,” she gestures to the top of the young woman’s mask. “Does the entity always heal you after a trial?” She pulls out a small roll of gauze from her vest pocket, “Or would you like to be patched up?”

1: Fave Dessert!

Yui - not traditionally sweet sweet, Yui, favorite dessert is Dorayaki, or Honey pancakes stuffed with red bean paste!

Yun-Jin - Yaksik, which is similar to a Rice Krispie Treat, except made with honey instead of marshmallow, and typically served with dried fruit and nuts!

Min - Black sesame ice cream; it’s simple, and she can usually get it at the corner store near the Laser Bear dorms!

Rika - Bubble tea, her favorite being Taro Milk tea with brown sugar tapioca pearls, she prefers to drink her dessert, rather than eat it!

2. Cat or Dog person?

Yui - Dogs, hands down! When she still lived with her dad and Grandmother, she had a pet Shiba Inu named “Mame” (or Bean in English)!

Yun-Jin - Cats, more specifically Oriental Short-hairs; while she was with Ji-Woon on tours, she had her cat, Opal with her (Opal was a typo when she was communicating with the breeder, wanting it to be Opus, but she loves her Opal, regardless)

Min - Cats! She’s never had a pet before because her parents thought she wouldn’t care for it, so she would collect her allowance and feed the local strays!

Rika - Dogs, Rika’s too scared of cats, especially because of the events of Ju-on; she rescued a stray puppy and named Mochi because he is a sweet little fluffball!

The speedster's lips suddenly feel the warmth of the other's, a sensation of both surprise and pleasure filling her body. She embraces the young woman, Yui's calloused hands delicately caressing her face. She then pulls away slowly, her cheeks flushing a soft, rosy hue, "I always wondered how you felt about me..." She trails off as her gaze dreamily meets Sissie's cool blue hues.

"Guess that answers my question."

Yui’s mouth hangs open for a moment, shocked that the young woman would carry some on her. She takes a deep breath to still herself, “I don’t know how, or where you got this, but I would GLADLY join you.” She still wants to talk to Susie, but, maybe this would help ease the tension. After all, it had been a hot minute since she last smoked.

“Wait, can you smoke through the mask? O-or would you like me to look away?”
