Jacob Elordi is reuniting with his SALTBURN director Emerald Fennell and SALTBURN producer Margot Robbie for a (yet another) WUTHERING HEIGHTS remake.

One site said it will go in production next year, but The Hollywood Reporter said later this year. I think that may be an error, unless Robbie is going to rush back to work after giving birth.

Of course, this casting has resurrected the very much missed "Jacob Elordi is tall" tweets.

I like how Jacob doesn't insist on being in the spotlight. Mans goes from job to job, go to a fashion show,

fulfills press obligations, and then hides out in Australia for a bit, then goes back to work.

Jacob wrapped Guillermo del Toro's FRANKENSTEIN, hit up Toronto Film Festival in support of ON SWIFT HORSES, where he reunited with his ON SWIFT HORSES costars (Will Poulter, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sasha Calle, Diego Calva and director Daniel Minahan) -

and reconnected with Barry Keoghan who was there in support of two films (BIRD and BRING THEM DOWN).

Barry also caught up with his ETERNALS costar Brian Tyree Henry, who was at TIFF in support of THE FIRE INSIDE.

I made caesar salads tonight following a Brian Lagerstrom video. The greens were a mix of romaine, Tuscan kale, and shaved fennel. I was worried I wouldn't like it, but I went back for more salad, which is, shall we say, highly unusual for me.

In an Instagram video, the cast showed off their best moves to Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 'Murder on the Dancefloor.'

The cast of NCIS is showing that they can get down just as well as they can get to the bottom of a case. 

In a hilarious video posted to Instagram Wednesday afternoon, cast members Gary Cole, Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Katrina Law, Brian Dietzen and Diona Reasonover each take part in the "Murder on the Dance Floor" trend from TikTok. 

"NCIS investigating the murder on the dance floor," the group wrote over the video. 

Each of the stars gets their moment to shine, swaying back and forth, singing along and lip-synching to the famous Sophie Ellis-Bextor song. While Reasonover and Dietzen appear to have the most fun out of the group, a noticeably shy Law shimmies back and forth, while Murray goes all in and serves up bobblehead moves.

In the comments, fans of the show could not get over the hilarious moves and concept behind the Instagram Reel, sharing their love for the cast's offscreen shenanigans.

"No naked Magee and tores dancing through the hallways," one person said, referencing the final scene at the end of Emerald Fennell's Saltburn, which shows Barry Keoghan's character dancing naked to the same song. 

"new plot line unlocked," another joked.

"Rhythm-less Nation 😂," wrote a third fan, prompting Reasonover to respond with a laughing emoji. 

It's not the first time the cast members have taken part in a trending social media moment, however. The ladies of NCIS previously put the "orange peel theory" to the test with their male co-stars, seeing if they would peel an orange for them so they could avoid messing up their nails. 

Unsurprisingly, Dietzen, Valderrama and Murray were all happy to oblige, opening up the fruit for their coworkers, albeit with a little bit of confusion. 

Dietzen -- who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer -- even took it one step further and peeled the orange in the shape of an elephant, a trick he says he picked up as a father. 

The Instagram Reels come on the heels of Paramount's announcement that a new NCIS spinoff is in the works, with Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly reprising their fan-favorite roles as Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo, respectively.

The first season will begin production later this year -- shooting in Europe -- and will feature 10 episodes. The name of the spinoff is currently being kept under wraps.

An official synopsis of the spinoff reads, "After Ziva’s supposed death, Tony left the NCIS team to go raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris. Since then – and where we find them in the new Paramount+ original series – Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so that they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after."

Episode 4x07 “Tommy Dearest” thoughts

-This Owen/Paul scene is great – I love this Owen

Most people planning a wedding are rookies

-That centerpiece is actually really tame compared to what I would have expected from Owen

-This is actually good relationship advice from Owen – If someone lights you up like that – make it happen.

I say all the time that this cast has the best facial expressions – and once again they proved it. Grace’s faces while Melody drinks that thing are hilarious

TK in the sweats & Nancy in the leggings are equally hot

This is the best Owen – the one that is a Captain, a leader. Someone that genuinely cares about his crew/family

I love this storyline for Paul & that they aren’t rushing it. I love that they are giving him a chance to show us what life is like for him – that we are getting more insight to what goes on in his head.

I hadn’t thought about how Asha knew him in the past/had seen behind the doors – but, wow that makes so much sense to why he is struggling.

I love the Judd/Tommy friendship just as much as I do the Grace/Tommy friendship

I mean – I don’t blame her for not wanting another drink from Tommy, but at least she recognizes that she was not playing against a novice

Uncle Julius – I kinda love how this kid manipulates Tommy into admitting about Julius – I knew it would come up again – they like parallels & callbacks way too much not to take advantage of it.

SYML and the images in his musics

SYML is the stage name of a solo artist named Brian Fennell who waast first part of the Barcelona band, making indie music. He started his solo-carrier in 2016.

I wanted to use this artist to illustrate some points of our course. I will use a song that impacted me when I first listend to it and that is still marking me. I often go back to this song for its soothing energy they convey. But, despite the calm rhythms, the song is rhythmics and holding some melancholy within its beats. The song I want to analyze is Where's My Love.

The first impression we can get from this song is that SYML wrote a Love song. The lyrics are touchy, mentioning a relationship between two persons.

In the video-clip of Where's My Love, we can see a woman going into the woods where she will send a goodbye message without any other explanations and she will then go further in the woods, following a path to a river. While marching to the river, she slowly undresses and start showing emotions. With a little common-sense, we can understand the video without hearing the song; SYML approaches the difficult subject of suicide.

When you add the music and search within the lines of the lyrics,it echoes like a praise, the praise of a desperate lover begging his other half to return next to him;

"Did she run away? Did she run away? I don't know If she ran away, If she ran away, come back home Just come home"

To deepen the analysis, at first, the lyrics are using the pronouns "She", we only know the song is dedicated to a woman, but it remains rather impersonal. At the end of the music the woman became "you", it is a direct address to the woman. The speaker is asking directly to the woman, he is involved in the situation.

The video does the same as the lyrics, hence it allows the lyrics to embody their full meanings. The woman is at first fully dressed, not showing any emotions ; we get the picture of a random woman, nothing more. But, as soon as she drops her phone and starts undressing, her mask falls apart, she undresses her soul before us. We become involved in her deadly pain.

This video is the perfect example of the relation between lyrics and images we saw the previous week. The meaning of the music is enhanced by the images. We could get the meaning of the song by watching either one of the two, but by combining them, the meaning grows and impact the listener. Music and images here are a tool to illustrate the deep subject suicide is.

Freedom Flowers

When we think of July, Independence Day looms large. Parades, barbecues, family gatherings, music, pool parties, fireworks, and flying the red, white, and blue are all part of the fun. This year is particularly important because of the forthcoming elections where freedom is on the ballot.

We have plenty of sunshine and since just living isn’t enough, what do freedom and flowers have in common?

Both are linked to beauty and an enhanced lifestyle. Flowers connect us to nature and thrill us with their glorious colors, textures, forms, and scents. The beauty of freedom is that we live life with ease. We make choices, feel liberated, and can express ourselves without fear. Both flowers and freedom are fleeting and fragile. They are not free. If we don’t care for and protect our flowers and freedom, they will wilt and die.

To celebrate our national pride, have fun with what I call “freedom” flowers, fruits, vegetables, and accessories that reflect our loyalty to “Old Glory”.  Plant an American flag garden with a pattern using red and white flowers for the stripes with blue flowers punctuated by small white flowers to mimic the stars. Create a patriotic theme in a mixed border with large blocks of the three colors or decorate with curated urns and containers. Add string lights that flicker red, white, and blue, place tiny American flags throughout the garden, or raise a large banner on a flagpole as a focal point. Add a red birdhouse and incorporate windchimes or statuary in unexpected places in the landscape that complement the theme. Don’t forget festive tablecloths, patio pillows, and throws as decorative and utilitarian elements! Add nutrition with bowls of fruit, and platters of vegetables with dips and chips for a cheerful culinary celebration.

Here are a few ideas for the flowers, fruits, and vegetables to utilize in your garden or plant in pots on your patio or porch.

Although it is a little silly, I like to sparkle on the 4th. The marvelous memories of the past 4th of July family and friend gatherings bring big smiles to my face.  As I read historical biographies, I am cognizant of the bravery and sacrifices of the men and women who helped in our fight for freedom from 1776 until the present. Did they enjoy some of the same flowers, fruits, and vegetables that we relish today?

Just living is never enough. Oscar Wilde may have said it best. He wrote, “With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?”

Appreciate the sunshine, the moon, the flowers, and our freedom.

World Soup Project #1: United States

New England Clam Chowder

I used a mixture of recipes and on the spot making shit up to make this soup. I lost the actual recipe I wrote down ._. But clam chowder is made mostly the same way with the same ingredients.

I didn’t use more than a little bit of heavy cream, enough to cover the surface near the end of the cooking process.

Recipe techniques referenced from:

Brian’s way of blending and then adding the soup to the main pot was a really interesting and effective way you thicken the soup without flour. Also, it made me add fennel to the soup.

This is the clam chowder recipe I used the most because of the cold start, which was an effective way of making sure the clams didn’t turn rubbery.

This recipe taught me about texture, that I needed enough thickness to coat the back of a spoon. Chef also taught me to add the fresh herbs near the end because they don’t cook well.

Other stuff I learned from making this:

Clams can be shipped to your house alive??? I wasn’t going to break the bank by buying them but wow..

Onion powder is more powerful than garlic powder…

I really love cooked celery… celery smells so good. I want a celery scented candle.

About the World Soup project:

Whenever I can, I research and look for a soup I’d like to attempt to make and try from every country, aiming to get them all. I have plenty of limitations, such as:

-I can’t make curry of any sort.

-I prefer soups without pork and chicken.

-I can’t have too much cream or cheese.

-I have to be able to get the ingredients and they can’t be crazy expensive.
