I haven't been able to get Spruce and his Muppet wife Brandi out of my head ever since that Vacay Island clip came out 💕
Per usual, I have headcanons:
Spruce's name change to "Bruce" was inspired by his wife's name
All 13 of their kids have names that start with "Br" (e.g. Bryce, Braxton, Brandon, Brianna, Brittney, Brady, Brody, Brooke, Bryan, Bruno, Brenda, Brill, Brucie Jr.)
A majority of the kids are boys, given that boys run in Spruce's side of the family (plus there is a sign in one of the concept arts for the cantina they run that was called "Bruce and Sons'")
The kiddos are convinced right away that Branch is related to them since his name starts with "Br"
At the start of their relationship, Brandi played hard-to-get at first, not so easily charmed by Spruce right away, which aided in Spruce falling in love with her for being different than the previous girls he's flirted with
Brandi is better at keeping the kids in line due to her being bigger than them, unlike Spruce
Spruce loves to spoil his kiddos with desserts from their cantina and with all sorts of fun activities on Vacay Island, like surfing💜

David Tennant's Obscure Performances: His Involvement with Read Not Dead (pt 1) - Edward III
A lot of you are aware that for the better part of a decade I've done research on David's early Scottish theatre work (80s/90s). I've found a ton of info and am in slooooow development on a podcast aimed at sharing my discoveries. But not ALL my research lands squarely in those years. I've learned about plenty of DT's theatre projects which fall outside of the years my podcast covers. So it occurred to me - since I'm not planning to do a podcast about those years, why not share some interesting tidbits? Let's dive in! By January of 1999, David was living in London and beginning a two month run at the Almeida's Albery Theatre as Pavel in Vassa (a comic portrait of a powerful iron-willed matriarch who sees her family destroyed by the very values that she seeks to preserve.) So he was busy, yes? Not busy enough, apparently, because he agreed to join thirteen other actors to do a one-off staged reading of a play often attributed to Shakespeare as a co-writer - called Edward III.

Edward III was part of a series of performances the Education Department of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre had been doing since the early 1990s called Read Not Dead (heretofore referred to as RND). Their website has this to say about their mission: "Read Not Dead is a multi-decade project run by Shakespeare’s Globe, one in which we plan to perform every single ‘unknown’ play that has survived in print, from the accession of Queen Elizabeth I in 1558, to the closing of the theatres in 1642. Some plays from history deserve to be read, not dead." (By the by, RND is still active today! I encourage you to read more about their mission and the plays they've performed by going to the Read Not Dead website.) Performing in an RND play was a unique challenge for an actor. RND performances were staged readings, so actors didn't do the traditional rehearsals. Instead, they received scripts only a few days ahead of the performance. The project's website explains it like so: "The rules of the project have always been simple, experimental, and completely unique. Whilst approaching one individual play, the group does so within one single day. In the morning, the company meets for the first time and throughout the day they work with a Director and experiment with props and costume. Often music is also composed within the short time-frame, too. By the afternoon, the play is put up on its feet and presented as a script-in-hand performance to a live audience." Additionally, most RND plays were performed on Sundays (traditionally the only day off for most performing actors in the theatre circuit, this made the full day's preparation possible.) These challenges almost certainly appealed to David for a number of reasons: 1) it was a one-off performance with a tight schedule, 2) we all know how he feels about Shakespeare, and 3) the Globe! When an opportunity came for him to play a role in or around that great structure, certainly one imagines he sprung at the chance! So on 21 February 1999, David played the role of Edward, Prince of Wales (aka the Black Prince) at the Globe Theatre Education Centre/Inigo Jones Theatre. The performance was on a Sunday - that day, the group met at 10a for a run-through, and at 3p they went onstage. It was directed by Clive Brill (who - fun fact - has since worked with David on many things, including the radio dramas The Order of Release, The Island, Murder in Samarkand, The Purple Land, and the two part Afternoon Play series Stevenson in Love). This performance was recorded, and I've actually listened to it! (sadly, the audio is only of the first two acts - for some reason, Acts 3 and 4 are missing.) I found it quite well done, especially considering the short amount of time the company of actors had to rehearse. You can listen to the recording of the performance and others from the series, as the recordings are archived in the Globe Archive and Library in London. Access to the archive is available by appointment only for professionals and academics affiliated with institutions of higher education.
Now.....some astute DT fans might be aware that while Edward III was the first time DT worked with the RND project, it wouldn't be his last. Very true! He was to go on and work with the project three more times. We'll explore those in more detail in future posts.

Discovered on the Wiki page for "Manichaean art": I find this cave painting of the tree of life and the tree of death to be beautiful and haunting, but I can't for the life of me find any additional information about the mural or the cave, nor any other images aside from this photograph from 1998. The Wikipedia description says: Mural inside one of the Sengim-aghiz Caves (German: Sängim; traditional Chinese: 勝金口, pinyin: Shèngjīnkǒu; "Sengim-aghiz" is also referred to as Sengim Gorge) in Chinese Turkestan, depicting the Manichaean subjects of the Tree of Life and the Tree of Death. I guess "Chinese Turkestan" is an outdated term for the southwestern part of Xinjiang. I've wanted to go to Xinjiang since 2008, when I lived in Kunming (Yunnan, China) and enjoyed hanging out in the Uyghur part of town eating laghman (لەڭمەن)--Uyghur noodles--which the Uyghur chefs would pull by hand, slapping the table with the dough (it was so hypnotic to watch).
My heart breaks thinking about what's happening to the Uyghur people. Despite what fake leftists (tankies) say, it is real. If you're against settler colonialism in Palestine or Turtle Island, then the only morally consistent position to take is to oppose what is being done to the Uyghur people by the (Han) Chinese.

Here is another image from the same cave, depicting a tree with the vine bearing grapes. From the Wiki description: The cave which contains the mural was perhaps used for meditation because of its small size. The vine motif is closely connected with Manichaeism, V. Arnold-Döben has collected the passages referring to the vine motif in Manichaean literature, and writes: "In going through the passages [where this motif occurs] it is striking that the motif appears almost exclusively in connection with Manichaean church. In imagery, the church is a vineyard … As the church has its leader or its head, its archegos, thus the vineyard or the vine is cared for by a gardener or tender." — Manfred Heuser & Hans-Joachim Klimkeit (1998), Studies in Manichaean Literature & Art, Leiden: Brill Publishers (p. 309).

In ACNH: 1. Get Turkey Day Recipes - Franklin will give you this recipe after you've helped him cook all of Turkey Day's meals. Funny that on Turkey Day, the main ingredient is Sea Bass + a random fish from 3 choices (for Northern Hemisphere players) or Squid and Sea Urchin (for Southern Hemisphere). The recipe you get is for Olive Flounder. 2. Cook on the stove with 1 Olive Flounder and 2 Flour.
In Real Life: from France
Species of Choice: It can be any flounder species - the more native to you, the better. Flat fish come in many names and many species, as I'll explain below, but most of them available for people to eat present flaky, white meat that most people associate with a "good fish".
Other Ingredients:
Butter Parsley Lemon White or Corn Flour
Get the recipe. and serve with a hot veggie and bread.
This will be long because of pictures. A long, long time ago, in an article far away, we covered how flatfish, like the Olive Flounder, become to look so ridiculous. I also pointed out and explained the differences between left-eye and right-eye flounders in the article covering the Dab. These things will be important as we move on to our next lesson about flatfish.
With over 800 species, the Order of Pleuronectiformes, the flounders, has a lot of diversity. Even though most* of these fish are flat and have both eyes on one side of the head, they come in some interesting shapes. We'll start with the tame and end with the weirdos.
Flounders - SubOrder Plueronectoidei
The name "flounder" is used for many flatfish that are important to fisheries/seafood. Even still, these are also quite diverse, not just because both right-eyed and left-eyed flatfish are called flounders, but because they also occupy different niches. Some of them have tiny mouths great for eating tiny fish and plankton, and then some are higher-trophic-level predators with huge mouths and teeth!

There are also 4 special flounders in this group called "Plaice".
Halibut - Genera Hippoglossus & Reinhardtius
The term halibut is reserved for the largest flatfish species, of which there are 3 - the Atlantic Halibut and Pacific Halibut in Genus Hippoglossus, and the Greenland Halibut in Genus Reinhardtius. They are absolutely massive, growing to 9 feet (3m) for some individuals. When you eat halibut, you're getting a very tiny portion of that fish. But size isn't the only way to tell them apart from other flatfish - they also have tail fins with longer, sharper points for fast swimming, and all 3 are "right-eyed" flatfish.

Turbots - Family Scophthalmidae
Okay, now we're getting away from special flounders, and into new Families. The turbots are also called windowpanes or brill, but the biggest difference between them and other flatfish is their more rhombus or stout shape, rather than the elongated oval-shape of most other flatfish. Their shape is not really a scientific trait, but we're going for "first glance" here. These are also eaten widely.

Soles - Family Soleidae & Achiridae
The fish in Soleidae are the true soles, with fish in Achiridae known as the American Soles, once classified within Soleidae. Either way, soles make up about 180 species and here's where we start to get weird. They often have more tear-drop-shaped bodies (but some can be really kind of square or round like a turbot) and very tiny or non-existent pectoral fins. These are also commonly eaten and they "right-eyed". They also have these weird mouths...just look at the picture...

It's all, like, lip-less? And beak-shaped? They have jaws - of course - but whenever I've had to handle our tiny, native sole here on Long Island, I'm always a bit surprised at it. But yeah, that's a thing they have in common with the last group.
Tonguefish - Family Cynglossidae
Here we are - the last group and the weirdest of the bunch. I think these take the flatfish body plan to the extreme and they have a number of traits that set them apart from other flatfish. These guys also have that beak or hook-shape to the upper jaw, but it's flabby, so it's weird. It's like its body is slowly trying to turn the mouth with the eyes (who knows...maybe in millions of years, it will be!) These guys are "left-eyed" and have no pectoral fins at all. They're just...really weird.

●Connor Brooks: Is considered the go to leader of the squad, able to keep the other squads members calm during a crisis. He's a legacy intern due to the fact his grandfather is Houston Brooks, Connor quite literally grew up with titans.
Margot: Originally she signed up to be an intern with Monarchs PR program, unintentionally she managed to grab Titanus Ruby's attention with her Cell Phone. She managed to make Monarch more liked by the public by taking photos of Ruby learning about humans.
Bliss: An intern of the Mythologist at Monarch she went to sneak a peak at Titan Ruby to see if she'd sink a ship, slightly disappointed about Ruby's passive nature she stuck around to study why such a dissonance from the myths and Ruby.
Trevin: An intern that worked for the Neurology labs he was sent to the Ruby squad to study what her Neural system is like. He ended up showing Ruby video games one day by accident and spun into a way to test her without getting the G-man angry.
Chelsea: The daughter of Nerissa, a branch manager of Apex Industries, she was originally sent to spy on Monarch to steal Titan data. However she grew attached to the squad and to Ruby unsure in Apex's goal. Her father died during the San Francisco incident.
-The MV!Agatha and MV!Grandmahmah group
●Arthur Gills: A marine biologist that specialized in cephalapods, he was originally studying Scylla but when MV!Agatha and MV!Grandmahmah were discovered he was transferred. He brought his son Sam Gills with him as he didn't want to leave him with 24/7 Nanny, also he's a tad overprotective of his son. Arthur was away at a research station when the Femmuto trampled through his home neighborhood, his wife sacrificed herself to save Sam to get him into a safe shelter.
Sam Gills: The son of Arthur Gills and the youngest person on the research post, often feels a bit left out due to his young age but he finds the fact he's close to Titans overshadow that. Oddly MV!Agatha is protective of the little human.
Brandon "Brill" Riley: Despite his clumsiness and his naive nature he's one of the world renowned Paleontologist, he was brought on to Monarch when he accidentally discovered the fossil of another member of the MV!Krakens species.
Gordon Lighthouse: One of the oldest member of the team, he was a soldier on the Skull Island expeditions he's considered a senior security personnel, which is impressive, and even tried to vacation on Skull Island. He has a pet Skull Island crab who he calls Davey.

Yoooo I love all of these. I can't even really think of stuff to add honestly, all these descriptions are super cool and awesome!!
Nerissa being a part of Apex though is utterly brilliant, Writer. I can absolutely see her after GvK taking over what's left of Apex and remaking it into whatever she wants.
I can only imagine that Davey's like the size of a person so instead of him being on Gordon's shoulder, Gordon can just lean against him while having idle conversations with the crab. Everyone looks at Gordon like he's a little weird, which happens to anyone who went to Skull Island, but what's even weirder is that Davey seems to at least somewhat understand or at the very least recognizes Gordon as part of his pack and thus sticks constantly by his side.

You finish by rolling your body up against his, feeling his breath panting against your chest as you look down at him, arms wrapped around each other.

As soon as your lips touch, you both sink into each other, lost in the mesmerising intimacy of the kiss.
As the snog continues, your mouth opens slightly and you feel his tongue against your own.
Gently, you roll your head left and then right, perfectly in sync with his movements.
He brings his hands behind your back to support you and stands, you wrap your legs around him, the kiss continuing as the others look on in awe.
Lowering you back to your feet, you look up at him and he looks down at you.

*Whisper something dirty in his ear
You bring your hand behind his head and feel his hair ruffling between your fingers.
Gently you pull back his hair, tilting his head upwards towards you.
You sensually lean down, placing your lips right by his ear, and whisper in a hushed voice.
PLAYER_FLIRTY: Do you like what I’m wearing?
He nods with a grin.
PLAYER_FLIRTY: Wait until you see what I’ve got on underneath.
You get back to your feet leaving a speechless Ozzy panting in a pile of sweat before you.
MARSHALL_FLIRTY: What did she say?
OZZY_FLIRTY: A gentleman never tells.

You pick up both his arms and begin a synchronised dance routine together.
The boys clap along to the beat as you playfully jive his arms back and forth to the beat.
After a fun few moments you blow him a kiss and get back to your feet.

You begin a fun dance routine right in front of a beaming Ozzy. Spinning around and playfully dropping to your knees.
You cheekily pick up both his arms and encourage him to stand up where you begin a synchronised dance routine together.
The boys clap along to the beat as you pull his arms back and forth.
You notice {0} not clapping with the others, clearly a little disappointed he wasn’t chosen.
OZZY_HAPPY: I’m glad you picked me.
PLAYER_HAPPY: Of course I picked you.
As you stand in front of the other islanders, out of breath from your dancing and chuckling together, Ozzy gives you a big hug.
You look up as he giggles down at you, your faces an inch apart.

You bring your hand behind his head, his hair ruffling between your fingers, and guide his lips toward your own.
As soon as your lips touch, you both sink into each other, lost in the mesmerising intimacy of the kiss.

Lucas II
Detective I
Lucas has always been the one who taught you the definition of ideal love. An obsession. One where you wish to possess everything of your beloved. But to possess only the body and not the mind just doesn't sit right with him. Breaking you into pieces is also, not something he enjoys. He wants both your body and mind. Without your mind, you are nothing but an empty shell for him. Why bother troubling himself to that extent if all he wants is your body, an empty shell? He could just bash your head until you've lost all sense of life for all he could care. A corpse, a body, an empty shell.
You are the servant of the huge mansion that is located on a secluded island, Abelard. The mansion consists of the Master of the manor, Butler, Old Servant, Doctor, Cook, Lea and her parents, and your sibling-like servant, Lucius. There'll be an annual meeting held every year on October 4th and 5th.
Just like what was read previously, you are the illegitimate child of the Master which also makes you the siblings of the Master's legitimate children.
The only difference would be that they do not exist in this world and the manor is now a mansion on a secluded island and you were not pushed for the second time.
Just like what was read previously, if you solved the epitaph first before anyone else, you'll learn about the one truth. Who your mother and father truly are, why your body is unable to love, and how forbidden everything is.

Your meeting with Lucas was when you two were still 12, back when Lucius had not entered the island yet. You two shared the same passion for mystery novels, and you two shared the same passion for learning someone's heart, the culprit's motive. Before Lucas left the island, he promised you that he'd come back for you like a prince charming and take you away from this island, a silly children's confession.
But you took it seriously.
Lucas did not join the annual meeting next year because of his father's remarriage. He never came to you next year too. 4 years later, Lucas wrote letters for everyone on the island. With a thumping heart, you were waiting for your turn to receive the letter. It never arrives. All you received was the envelope.
He forgot about the promise while you waited diligently for him.
That year, Lucius entered the island as the only boy servant.

The probability of Lucas remembering you is astronomically low and yet, the Witch of Miracles grants you this one miracle. Lucas returned a year earlier before you solved the epitaph. That day, he challenged himself to solve the epitaph to prove himself to you that his feelings toward mysteries and riddles are still the same. Seeing you chatting with George closely, one of the Master's grandchildren, made his heart thump in the wrong way.
The Witch of Miracle is only generous enough to remind him of your promise but never generous enough to make sure he's not insane.
Lucas solved the epitaph before anyone else and found the gold ingots. Questioning the portrait that was hung in the main hall, the answers slowly direct to you, the illegitimate son of the Master and the grandson of the Lover in the portrait.
Your siblings are Lucas, Ange, George, Lea, and Maria's parents.
Lucas, Ange, George, Lea, and Maria are your nephews and nieces.
If only Lucas is still sane then perhaps the mass murder would never happen. But this pawn's sanity, Lucas, has been altered by the GM into a madman. Similar to Brille's case in which she wishes for Lucas to realize who the culprit truly is, you are now in Lucas' shoes from another board.
Lucas murdered everyone in according to the twilights in the epitaph, locked room murders are nothing but just a pastime for him who sees himself as a witch.
The next year after, the mass murder began in which leaving you and Lucius as the only survivor.
You were trapped on the island with the 14 corpses of your families and servants. There's no way out. He won't let you run away to the shore and escape by the speedboat. He won't let you run away anymore. The white horse has been killed but all that matters is the prince charming right?

It's not hard to find stray cats on this island when he had placed lots of cats on the island last year. You've always adored cats no? How about you adore them closer now? How about you feel them? Taste them? Every day, your meal would consist of a normal meal with the cat as a topping. It's sickening. He never hurt you but he's persistent at this.
It's truly adorable how you were still unaware of the dirty blood that you both share.
Slowly, your sanity decreased and you started typing gibberish from day until the night. Just like what was read previously, he too will always read it for you, gathering every word that he could make into a string of curses. The rest of the scripts are filled with nothing but unreadable pleas for someone to save you, over and over, for you can no longer express what you are feeling with your body.
Just like what was read previously, you started to see yourself as the Detective. Seeing this, he encouraged you to let you connect each clue starting from the mass murder. True, the Culprit may be him but it still doesn't make sense how the closed-room murders happened. How could he murder adults when he could be easily overpowered? Your brain's gears started spinning madly until it reached the key to the pandora's box, the diary of the woman who pushed you off the cliff when you were still a baby.
"Let's make love and continue this accursed lineage, shall we?"
That line had never bothered you so much until now.
A body that can't even love, you are already aware of how your chest and period never arrived. Your left foot. Your voice could change. Your face that is-.
Your relation with him and the boy and girl you once loved.

Just like what was read previously, his view of love is messed up. And so are you, too. His fate had been sealed to die without a face. Just right before you committed suicide by blowing your heart, you wrote the whole truth and the tragedy, squeezing it into the glass bottle and letting the waves carry it. Ashcroft, B. (2014). Material Resonance: Knowing Before Meaning. In B. Neumeier & K. Schaffer (Eds.), Decolonising the Landscape (pp. 107-127). Brill.
Ashcroft discusses how Indigenous writers’ literary representations of emotional and bodily experience create a decolonial language that communicates relational knowledge outside Western ideas of truth. I apply Ashcroft’s argument to Van Neerven’s poetry where representations of sensuality, queer desire and embodied memory create a new poetic language that expresses and reclaims their Aboriginal body from ethnographic contexts. This source also brings nuance to my ideas. Ashcroft emphasises that while Indigenous writers assert their subjectivity and encourage the audience’s empathy through new poetics, reading Indigenous literature is not an inherently decolonial action as non-Indigenous audiences must act on their empathy.

Balla discusses her personal connection to Foley’s works like Badtjala Woman which inspired her to view her body as beautiful in its connection to her matriarchal family, revealing the liberating power of Foley’s work.

Through literary analysis of Waanyi writer Alexis Wright’s novel The Swan Book, critic Arnaud Barras provides a foundational understanding of relationality as the recognition that all entities are inherently intertwined, which undermines the Western dualism between Self and Other. Barras argues that Wright’s deliberate ambiguity makes the reader a co-creator of meaning, entangling them with the Aboriginal protagonist and her Country. This discussion of how literature and art create inter-cultural relationality can be applied to my exploration of the body as a site of collective experience and memory in Foley and Van Neerven’s work.

This has complicated my understanding of how Aboriginal art creates relationality, challenging me to consider how non-Aboriginal audiences like myself must actively engage with texts to critique their inherently colonial perspectives.

This review contextualises Van Neerven’s poetry around historical events like welfare surveillance in Queensland and anti-colonial critical theory including Martin Nakata’s Indigenous standpoint theory that acknowledges the sovereignty of ‘subjective’ Indigenous knowledge forms. Leane contributes to my discussion of how Van Neerven depicts the Aboriginal body as a locus of personal and collective history, supports my analysis of how their this materiality disturbs Western epistemologies by engaging with decolonial critical theory, and provides a starting point for further research into such theory.
Nicholls, C. (2010). Embodying Affect: The Stolen Generations, the History Wars and PolesApart by Indigenous New Media Artist r e a. 2010 14th International Conference Information Visualisation, 415–421.
Nicholls discusses how Gamilaraay artist r e a represents the body as a site of collective memory in multimedia work PolesApart (2009), demonstrating how to analyse an artwork’s features and context. Colour, framing, tone, movement, and gaze invite the audience to empathise with r e a’s subject: an Aboriginal woman in historical clothing fleeing an unseen force. r e a invites the audience to interrogate Australian historical narratives that silence victims of colonial violence. Nicholls contextualises r e a’s artwork within her personal family history, the Stolen Generation, and the Australian History Wars. These broader contexts resonate with Foley and Van Neerven’s engagements with Australian history.

Phillips and Bunda provide a useful introduction to storying as an Indigenous knowledge-sharing practice that counters Western intellectuality. In contrast to epistemologies that value only ‘objective’ truth, storying is a dynamic, affective process shaped by interpersonal relationships that foregrounds emotion and materiality as valuable knowledge sources. Based on this concept, I explore how Foley and Van Neerven ‘story’ their bodies to elevate relational Indigenous knowledge forms. As storying is an intimate act of sharing oneself with the audience, Bunda and Phillips’ work also speaks to how Foley and Van Neerven’s art encourage the audience’s empathy.

Although Sumac’s interview of author Daniel Heath Justice centres Canadian Indigenous people, it provides important insight into how Indigenous artists like Foley and Van Neerven can challenge colonialism by creating “kinship” between artist and audience through stories that provide rich insight into others’ worlds (2018, p.167). This source reveals how the relationality created by Indigenous writing positions it as a loving act. This disrupts the colonial view of the Indigenous body as an ethnographic object or a perpetual site of trauma and redefines them as a subject worthy of care and respect.

Marina Tyquiengco provides valuable insight into how Foley recontextualises the historical archive to reveal repressed violence against Aboriginal people. Tyquiengco’s work explains how Foley appropriates historical documents to insert the absent bodies of other Aboriginal people into the archive as authoritative, empowered subjects rather than scientific objects. This collapses past, present, and future to emphasise the enduring presence and impact of colonial violence in contemporary society and allow Foley to draw strength from the past for a hopeful future.

Maria Tyquiengco examines the historical context of Foley’s Badtjala Woman (1994) and Native Blood (1994): the sexual abuse that white men committed against Aboriginal women and the anthropological tradition of representing their bodies as museum objects. Tyquiengco pays close attention to the photograph Fraser Island Woman (1899) of an anonymous, bare-breasted Badtjala woman. Foley recreated this image in Badtjala Woman to reclaim her from the objectifying colonial male gaze. Tyquiengco’s analysis clarifies how Foley reanimates the Aboriginal body by inserting her own vital image and family history into dehumanising ethnographic archival material.

D'une part, d'abord tu rencontreras sûrement les Sirènes qui charment assurément tous les humains, mais indéniablement surtout celui qui les aborde (L'Odyssée, Chant XII) dit Homère par la bouche de Circè informant Ulysse de ses épreuves à venir : d'abord les Sirènes. Légendes et mythes s’allient au modernisme fulgurant d’une région qui brille de contrastes. Indolente, nostalgique, outrageusement charmeuse. Il y a une certaine poésie dans ces lieux. Un ère mystique contournant les abysses d'un monde devenu morne, fade, tellement moderne. Les nuages s’arquent sur les reliefs de la mer et la nuit, quand il pleut, on entend hurler. C'est le chant de la damnation, un mirage luxurieux d’une créature moitié femme moitié magie. Mélodie, lamentation ou simplement l’écho des strates des roches érodées que les montagnes creusent pour se jouer de la candeur des Hommes. Ici, c’est l’amour de la féerie, un peu de fantastique pour survivre à la monotonie de la vie. Personne n’y croit et pourtant tout le monde s’y mêle. C’est le folklore qui fait le charme des habitants. Des traditions enfantines sur des terres maudites. De la superstition et la folie de voyager, encore, encore, entre les pages du temps. La naïveté de croire qu’il y a de l’invisible dans ces chimères qui dansent sur les lumières du phare.

Day 132.
Goat Island w / The Pod.
Second day and the light was just gorgeous (again!!) Heidi and Jessica saw three BABY EAGLE RAYS (whaaaa??) about the size of a dinner plate so I’d guess they were born in the reserve. Thats pretty spesh indeed. Also spotted a few dolphins from the carpark after getting out, on a mission and headed round the back of the island. All in all, a pretty brill start to the day :)
