The past three days I've been thinking about what The Order of the Clocktower actually consists of (in terms of authors) so I decided on drawing it myself.
(When I design Charles Dickins and William Shakespear please crackship them I'm begging pleading sobbing. It would be so funny)
(Do not associate the characters with the Author)

Notes:
I might actually write like a series for this if I feel like it.
Ik Salman Rushdie is still alive n all but I needed a character that had part of my name (Sal) so I can attach myself to them. Also I've yet to read the Satanic Versus (it sounds rlly cool i can't wait to read it)
Arthur Conan Doyle was so hard to make, like I couldn't decide on what his ability and name of said Ability would be called. Took me ages I swear.
Abilities:
A study In Scarlet: A Red room that is the result of a minds manifestation, can only be accessed by the user by opening an unlocked door in reality. Can controll and Manipulate almost anything in this room.
The Satanic Versus: Can transform into an unrecognisable creature associated with the Devil that possesses dangerous abilities. High Threat to society.
Feel free to ask questions or suggest ideas, I'm very open to anything.

actually fun fact i have a self-insert for every single organization in bsd and they all have their own unique abilities that i've built + backgrounds because im mentally unwell and cannot get away from this stupid manga. i even built self-inserts for organizations that i created to flesh out the bsd universe more. like LOL. i need help.
#i have an order of the clocktower self insert#i have a guild self insert#i have a doa self insert#i have a hunting dogs self insert#obviously we all known pm self insert#i have an ada self insert#i have a three deaths self insert#i have a self insert from the family#i have a red chamber self insert#i literally like have a dozen different bsd self inserts#its so bad#after pmreader#i would say doa is the next most fleshed out#then the family#then order of the clocktower#then three deaths#then the rest are all mostly vaguely built with minimal detail#and abilities#actually i lied#the family is more fleshed out than doa self insert#bc that's who the unwritten fyozai series was based on

All the questions I got after the season finale
Who is the man Fyodor was talking about before the helicopter crash?
Is Fyodor really dead?
What's going to happen now?
Where have been Lucy, Yosano and Kyouka all this time?
Where is Kouyou? And Mori along with PM?
Will Sigma ever wake up?
What was Fyodor's ability?
What will Nikolai do after all these events?
What was Teruko's backstory?
Where was Jouno?
How about Tecchou's past?
What's going to happen to One Order? What really it is?
Will Dazai and Chuuya come back to Japan?
And probably many more....
#pardon me for my curios ass#if yall have answers to any of the questions written above pls enlighten me#u cant deny the fact that there are now so many plot holes and this was seriously not the way i imagined how this arc would finish#tbh im sad that fyodor died#(well maybe he is alive who knows)#i now hope to see more of order of the clocktower and european organisations#bsd#bungo stray dogs#bungou stray dogs#bsd spoilers#bsd manga#bsd s5#bsd season 5#chuuya nakahara#dazai osamu#soukoku#fyodor dostoevsky#nikolai gogol#teruko ōkura#jouno saigiku#suehiro tecchou#lucy maud montgomery#yosano akiko#kyouka izumi#kouyou ozaki#mori ougai#bsd sigma#bsd dazai#bsd chuuya#bsd fyodor

Sasaki fits, better than most would have expected, into the Order of the Clocktower. She holds herself with a grace Agatha can respect, her mind is so very, very quick, and the ruthlessness she possesses is a skill worth sharpening. Lucky, then, that Agatha has so many blades in her hold. - on agatha, sasaki, & aya

BSD Agatha Christie has to poison someone right? Like you CAN'T make an Agatha Christie-based character without including her knowledge of poisons somehow. Fuck she was so good irl she was able to INVENT a technique to poison people (source: https://time.com/4029233/agatha-christie-poison/). Just- hello?!

What is your favorite bit of bsd lore?
Actual lore: the fact that the "slug" and "mackerel" nicknames we have for Dazai and Chuuya are because of irl Dazai-sensei and Nakahara-sensei actually calling each other that.
Something that might not get brought up at all but I think would be funny is. Irl Natsume-sensei studied in the UK in about 1900. And he hated it so much that the condition that Capcom was given to include Natsume in the Ace Attorney games that took place around 1900 was to make sure they included how much he hated being in the UK. So I want, when they finally bring the Order of the Clocktower into play after Fyodor is taken care of. For Natsume to just be a bit snippy when the thought of the UK is brought up.

nah bc i am genuinely so happy with how bsd is going now
i am truly devastated over brams death, and also i think this makes the most sense? like fyodor being so intelligent and inhuman, skk being out of the fight and unable to help, the ada and sskk taking over and finally getting some interaction with the big bad
skk might be fighting french people, but its also french people and we can get more info with the order of the clocktower if that's the case. regardless, my big worry w 114 is the possibility of lost potential and genuinely i feel so much more excited over this shit now. bc i know how we got here and i don't know where its going except there's so much potential and i am genuinely. so fucking excited.
#bsd#bsd positivity#bungou stray dogs#bsd 114.5#bsd spoilers#technically#kay rambles#genuinely im so excited#like yes let fyodor interact with anyone than dazai#yes let skk be unable to help and be like bishops on the other side of the chess board#yes let sskk take charge#im fihudsfhiudfiuhfdsiuhfsd#im so fucking excited

Is it just me or is Karen one of the scariest characters in BSD?
Each breath she took caused the nearby trees to crack, and shatter due to the frost heave. Verlaine immediately recognized her skill. She could cool the temperature. His skin was peeling off because it was sticking to his clothing after being exposed to the freezing air. In just the blink of an eye, his body had turned ice cold. It wouldn't be much longer until his muscles and bones were frozen as well. This skill was extremely dangerous. An attack that froze its target didn't need to physically hit them, which meant it couldn't be blocked through manipulating gravity, either. It was Verlaine's natural enemy.
Verlaine considers her skill such a serious threat he calls it his "natural enemy." Verlaine, who's killed three members of the Order of the Clocktower (each allegedly "capable of single-handedly taking out an entire terrorist organization in one night") in one go and all of the Flags (who were all very deadly—Doc's kill count was ~800 and he's the doctor not the hitman) in one go, considers Karen a threat because HER BREATH SHATTERS TREES AND SHE CAN FREEZE PEOPLE TO DEATH JUST BY PROXIMITY.
Her psychological state makes the implications of this yet more alarming as well as making her somewhat sympathetic.
She was idly staring up at the calamity in the sky, not alarmed in the slightest. She expressed neither fear nor animosity. All she could do was follow orders; the only time she felt something was when she was given orders. A black sphere of destruction slowly descended upon her, but she didn't run. She simply gazed at it as if she were admiring its beauty.
So, you have someone who can only feel emotion by following orders, who has an extremely destructive Ability and no sense of self preservation, and she's in the Port Mafia, where you would expect she's being ordered to kill people all the time because she seems very good at it, and she's unlikely to disobey orders no matter how dangerous they are for her or how cruel they are to others because the only emotion she can feel is the joy of following orders.
I feel really bad for her because that sounds like an awful way to live, even if she doesn't mind it. It reminds me a little of 15 Dazai, or of Shibusawa's emptiness combined with Tachihara's "my orders make me who I am."
And she disappears from the plot and is never seen again.
The last time she's seen, she gets pushed over the side of a cliff for her own safety. The man with the time ability seemed to think she's safe, but when you're about to get demolished by Guivre, "safe" is relative. If she's still alive by the main era, which she may be, then that's a huge testament to how large and powerful the Port Mafia is because she has what seems like a strong Ability but is a small enough cog in the machine that whatever she's been assigned to do isn't important enough to be shown.
Who is this woman, who's like a terrifying hybrid of Shibusawa, Tachihara, and Elsa, where did she come from, and where did she go?

Hi! sorry but has it ever been confirmed who Fitzgerald's prophet was in BSD? Like, in chapter 28 during the Moby Dick arc, Fitzgerald talks about a "someone with the ability of clairvoyance prophesized that the book in question is currently sealed within this piece of land known as Yokohama" and I don't think we ever got a canon answer as to who it was, or if they ever got mentioned again.
But do you think the prophet could be Fyodor since his first appearance was him lying about his ability and since then he manipulated people into doing world-ending/city-destroying things (Moby Dick, Dead Apple, Cannibalism and now the current arc) for him without them realizing the lie? Since we had the precedent, and it keeps getting worse and worse and I might be conspiracy theorizing this but, do you think there's a basis that Fyodor might've started the Great War? So far, it's been vague as to the exact cause (the order of the clocktower is a major player in it, it took place in Europe, had a lot to do with abilities and ability users, lots of atrocities were committed during it, the world leaders literally had to be locked in a room to sign the peace treaty) but we know it deeply affected everyone in the cast. It would be crazy and mind-blowing if it turned out he's had a hand in it too, he's been kicking around long enough that he could've set up the dominoes decades before it actually started, especially since the war eventually led to the current arc and so close to the Book
Don't apologise :)
Point 1: I don't believe it has been confirmed who Fitzgerald is referring too. But I do believe it is Fyodor. Given he's both allied with the Guild and had the bounty set on Atsushi.
Which is the whole reason they're after him in that arc. I wouldn't be suprised if Fyodor lied about being clairvoyant, seems pretty up his alley.
Though that does make me wonder how he knew to begin with.
Point 2: I am of the belief that Dead Apple is Fyodor's experiment. He's the reason all these events happened by setting Shibusawa loose and watched the fireworks happen.
So to speak.
If Fyodor had an any involvement in the Great War, that's how I see it happening. That he was influencing things here and there but ultimately wasn't part of it.
He's a spectator watching it all unfold from the shadows. I mean the order of clock tower was involved and Fyodor is allied with them.
I assume his reasoning for being involved was to set certain outcomes in motion, possibly get close to Fukuchi and learn about one order but that's just me.

Random bsd theories
Finished 113 and uh. Uh
The member of the Agency who's gonna get transferred to the PM will probably be Tanizaki, or Yosano. I know there was that whole deal Mori and Fukuzawa made but there's no reason for Mori to keep it, and Yosano being forced to work with the man who caused her trauma would be a very interesting arc. That said it's also been noted multiple times Tanizaki would make a good assassin and Asagiri flat out said he's the member of the ADA closest to evil, sooo-
Gin Akutagawa is going to get Rashoumon if Akutagawa is actually dead. I don't know if he is even after the vampirism but I think he should be, because it would finally give some stakes to this series bc no one has died before and it would make Fyodor as a threat matter. Anyway I think it would make sense if Gin were to get it, especially considering with Tachihara's current unknown state that's another reason to get her more involved with the plot.
Fyodor's not actually dead. There's no way he's been built up over the past 2/3 arcs to die like THAT.
Aya has an ability. What it is, I'm not sure, I know her irl author's most famous work is Nagareru, which I have not read, so maybe something to do with that?
Also, Higuchi is going to become important soon. Asagiri has confirmed she has an ability - I'm betting we're going to find out what it is soon. Especially if Akutagawa is actually dead, which again I think he is because otherwise all the buildup was wasted, I think she's gonna get an arc of her own soon.
Dazai is going to be forced to develop and it won't be pretty. I've seen notes that he's kinda regressing back into his 'Demon Prodigy mindset' from the healthier one he developed with the ADA in the earlier arcs, before Mori released Q, in order to protect himself and the ADA from threats like Fyodor - so he's been more willing to sacrifice people or colder with his plans. In order to get out of that spiral something is going to need to snap him out of it.
Oh speaking of that - Dazai is either the son or grandson of the Old Boss of the Port Mafia from before Mori took over. Explains why he was implied to have known the old boss, and why his ability is basically an anti-ability, if he was constantly around someone so unstable and had to protect himself.
The Order of the Clocktower are going to become new antagonists with Agatha Christie also playing a role. We already know she exists in the BSD verse and the potential for a character based on her as a villain is insane. I'm also thinking she could potentially be the actual 5th member of the Decay of Angels, considering Sigma has existed for all of 3 years and spent a lot of that time actively being human trafficked, yet the organization was clearly prominent for years before that.
#i very very much hope agatha christie is the next villain i will be frothing at my mouth if that happens#shes one of my favorite authors#bsd#bungo stray dogs#tanizaki junichirou#bsd junichiro#yosano akiko#bsd akiko#bsd yosano#mori ougai#fukuzawa yukichi#gin akutagawa#akutagawa gin#akutagawa ryuunosuke#bsd akutagawa#fyodor dostoevsky#bsd fyodor#higuchi ichiyo#bsd higuchi#bsd sigma#sigma#agatha christie

Since Asagiri himself forgot about the existence of Agatha Christie, I shall make my bsd oc a part of her underground organization "the order of the clocktower" and make an entire subplot just to make Agatha the next upcoming of Fyodor.
