okay, so i was going to block you and let you stew in your misery, but then i realised that you might be referring to the impending animation of chapter 88 of bsd. i'm not sure but giving you the benefit of the doubt and taking this as an opportunity as well

so a general psa to the bsd fandom: if you're gonna refer to chapter 88 out of obvious context clues, please specify it's chapter 88. like ch88, bsd88, i don't really care

88 is a well known antisemitic dog whistle (8 = 8th letter of the alphabet, h, 88 = hh, heil hitler)

so this message could either mean "we're seeing chapter 88 in a week!" or it's a death threat

okay so i have three main things to say about akutagawa's situation as of this chapter.

1. seems a little convenient that in the very same arc we find out akutagawa is dying of his lung illness he ends up dying and being revived as a vampire.

i mean, it's a common trope where a character gets bit and infected by a supernatural creature and finds themself cured of whatever illness(s) they had previously.

so i can't help but wonder if this was always the plan??

2. it would be one thing if only akutagawa was "turned" — but the entire port mafia? no way, i don't buy it.

typically in shows when THIS much goes wrong in this short period of time, it's not permanent.

(( SPOILER ALERT FOR NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: pein arc. that's all im sayin. ))

so yeah. i think it's gunna either get fixed or reversed somehow, and if it doesn't they're just gunna be the vampire mafia now lmfao.

and if it does get reversed and akutagawa goes back to the state he was in before he was bit, i believe that he could still survive.

how? because it's possible he wasn't totally dead yet, just on the brink of death — in which case yosano could still save him.

and i do think she would, because after how far akutagawa's come with his promise not to kill anyone and everything i truly believe that atsushi would beg her to save him.

3. rewatching season 1 suddenly feels like foreshadowing — anyone else notice how much akutagawa already looks like a vampire?!

i mean look at this!!!!

(( oh, and quick disclaimer: i'm an anime-only and the only chapter of the manga i've ever actually read is chapter 88 so forgive me if i misunderstood anything ))
