I guess we are, aren't we? Fine. Let's do this. Before we begin, please note that ONLY 2 MEMBERS have only ever addressed their shippers. Two. Not ALL. Idk who lied to u and told u they have ALL told people to stop shipping them. Shipping has been a culture in Kpop since time immemorial. It's literally part of their training. That's why they do fanservice, dum dum. V and Suga are the only two members who have ever shut down their shippers. V for Taekook and Suga for... what do you call Suga and RM together? Sugamon? Namga? Namyoon? Whatever tf their ship name is, I have no idea.

Anyway, let's jump into it. Bon Voyage season 3 episode 2.

One very important thing to note; Jimin understood the waiter perfectly. First, the waiter asked how many of them there were.

JK replied by asking for the menu

But Jimin replied; they wanted a table for 2

Second, waiter saw all the staff recording them and asked Jikook if they were camera men. Jimin for some reason said yes 😂😂

Again, JK did not understand and Jimin had to translate

So just so it's clear, Jimin understood that waiter very well. With that in mind, let's proceed.

So they go to order and JK with his limp wrist (bless him) drops his iconic "together bam"

The waiter points at them both and says "together? Alright."

Some people hear; "you're together?" And others just hear "together" anyway. It doesn't matter. If you watch the clip here you will see the waiter clearly gestures to both of them and says that. He's understood they're a couple which is why Jimin cracks up.

We have established Jimin was getting everything and he understood what the waiter meant but guess what, anon? He didn't correct him. Even if his English was quite bad at this time he knew how to say "no" but chose not to. Instead he just laughed it off. So, Jimin had a chance to shut down a Jikook rumor but... 🤷🏽‍♀️

People still thought the waiter didn't think they were a couple until an Army visited that restaurant and confirmed that was the case.

Remember when Jin asked them if they were a couple and again they just laughed it off?

Remember when RM asked if they were a couple since they were matching like a couple? Remember how once again Jikook could have denied this but didn't?

How strange anon. All these chances to shut down shippers and still they refuse to take them.

Jimin actually mumbles something after RM asks that but it doesn't get translated and even Kjikookers have admitted they can't hear it clearly. But I have heard a few say it sounds like Jimin said "we're married."

But since its not very clear, we don't go around celebrating and spreading it. Still... 😌😌

I am so confused as to where you heard that Jikook shut down their shippers. When did this happen, I wonder? Was it when JK had Jimin's ear in his mouth? Was it everytime Jimin tried to kiss JK? Or was it when they both admitted Jimin sucked on JK's neck long enough to leave a bruise aka hickey?

I've done it with my best friends through out my life.

Now anon listen, I dont judge people. Trust me, not only because the Bible says thou shall not judge, but also because I've had my fair share of slutty moments. So I will not sit here and judge you for sucking on all your bestfriends' necks and leaving bruises. How do their lovers feel about this, btw? Jikook Week 7 Complete ✔️(23-30/01/2024)

Their seventh week in the military is now complete. It's time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2019.

JK was still making covers of songs and on 23/01 he released Ending Scene by IU on Sound Cloud.

Jimin responded with "Cover fairy JK😁"......

....and "Kitty Ending😊".....

followed by "Met in Malta"

Nostalgia for the Malta trip in 2018 perhaps "Together bam!"

On the 29th January, Run BTS Episode 61, the first sauna episode, came out. Jin, Suga and Jimin were on one team and RM, Tae, J-Hope and Jungkook were on the other.

In the first game, Jimin and Jungkook, playing against each other, get exactly the same score on the finger flick machine and immediately reference Serendipity, " You are I, I am you"

The second round was a word game which, I have to say, I don't really understand, even after watching the show a few times. Jin and RM won the first and second rounds in under a minute but Jimin's time in the sauna extended over three rounds. Jungkook was his second opponent. They were working together to get the answer but JK got there first and was happy to escape to the cool and snacks.

Afterwards though he was little remorseful having left Jimin to battle it out a third time and was cheerleading from outside the sauna.

The episode ends there, but I sneaked a peak at Run BTS 62 and I am happy to say Jimin makes it out next round.

Hi, Rosieee! I always take posts of Jikook sightings with a grain of salt, but I always notice how consistent their behaviour towards each other is. Like, it's not so farfetched to see how JK acts this way towards Jimin and vice versa. Throughout the years, multiple OPs who encountered them outside have described/shared Jikook's dynamics and are quite interesting to read about. And it's even more interesting when some of those sightings have been proved. I just know they had an amazing time traveling and doing stuff.

I don't want to be greedy, but if we get behind-the-scene eps like what we had with Bon Voyage or ITS, plus that ep 0 where we have their meeting before they started their actual activities, I'll be over the moon. And if Disney+ sprinkes in interviews with these two like what we had with Hobi and Suga from their shows, I'll be even more insufferable 😭

Oh, definitely. What we see in official content is exactly what others report seeing when they see them off the clock or in the wild, as I sometimes say. In fact, many have described their dynamic as even more intense than what we usually see. For example, there was a time when an ARMY said Jimin's expression softened when he looked at Jungkook, or when a person at a restaurant thought Jungkook was the older of the two because of how he cared for Jimin. And if we add to that what the other guys have said and what Jimin and Jungkook themselves have shared over the years, it makes sense. Honestly, we only have to remember how they behave in the airport in Malta.

Sometimes it's hard to believe these supposed sightings of the boys by fans for obvious reasons, but the funny thing is that when it comes to Jimin and Jungkook together, they're not hard to believe, as you say. The posts currently circulating on Twitter about someone in Japan who saw them and described how they behaved together are not hard to believe, even though there is no proof beyond their word.

It’s hard to imagine that they didn’t have the best time while filming the show. If they hadn’t, I don’t think they would have filmed in different locations. Honestly, I don’t think they would have even made the show in the first place.

One undeniable fact, although many definitely try to deny it all the time, is that Jimin and Jungkook enjoy spending time together. They can entertain themselves with small things and be happy with that. It’s no coincidence that in every BTS DVD, there are always a lot of clips of them laughing, playing, or just being together, and that’s because they like being together. We have often read that people who have worked with them have said that Jimin and Jungkook were always together or were always the last to leave, etc. This will be no different. Or perhaps the only difference is that it will be just the two of them.

I don’t have much faith that we’ll see behind-the-scenes footage like we have with other BTS variety shows, but it would be incredible if we did. Did Tae’s show with his friends have behind-the-scenes footage? I don’t remember.

I think BigHit would miss a great financial opportunity if they didn’t release a DVD of this show with a photobook included. The same goes for not releasing behind-the-scenes footage on Weverse, even if you have to pay to watch it.

It would be great and only fair if Disney+ gave this project the same promotional treatment as they did for Hobi and Yoongi’s projects. I think the BTS documentary in December had some of that, didn’t it? Again, I don’t remember. Sorry.

I’m loving your production breakdown posts, they are so interesting and insightful.

I think you mentioned it maybe in the first ep breakdown but it was about expenses. I just thought it was interesting in ep4 when JK mentioned at the chicken place, paying in cash, and he solely has this conversation with Tae, not Jimin. Would there be an arrangement do you think? Or was that scene cut and he’d have asked Jimin too? I’ve noticed in comparison to Bv where they were usually only allowed a certain amount of money between them, with one usually being in control, or a sum for a task, in AYS, Jimin and JK have been whipping out their cards, be it their own or a company card, in Big Dicks store, in Walmart etc.

The finance bits are interesting in the most boring corporate sense if that makes any sense. 😅 Trust me on this. Let's dive in:

In my opinion, it really boils down to two concerns: taxes and sponsorships. Taxes to insure the company receives every possible benefit for every dollar they spend. Sponsorships because some brands can have fussy rules about how individuals interact with their product and especially any competitor's products while they have an active agreement.

Obviously I have no actual insight onto how the finances and budget were managed for any of these specific shows and I know absolutely nothing of the intricacies of taxes in South Korea but in the US, there are many regulations when it comes to how companies can claim expenditures for tax breaks.

Every company that has had me travel for work has gone to a lot of trouble to insure that I was aware of exactly all of the requirements on my part regarding expenditures. I'm 100% sure all of the BTS members are aware of their requirements as well so I don't particularly think there's any motive other than as a cute convo for the moment between JK and V. Imo, the only reason it made it to the final cut was JKs endearing tone in his response.

Let's go through some examples though:

Receipts: in both AYS and Bon Voyage, we see the members be very specific in getting Receipts. JM and JK talk about it as they're leaving Walmart. In BV, it's all of the shenanigans with the money pouch they acquired in Malta and continued using in New Zealand. This is usually documentation required for any operation that's going to be claimed as a business expense for tax purposes.

Personal Spending: off the top of my head I can think of several clear instances where we know that the members are using their own money for purchases we see them make on the shows. In Run BTS ep.70 in Toronto, JK pays for the member's clothing purchases himself. In BV4, JM pays for the member's clothing himself a couple of times (remember the drama of his lost wallet? 😅)

Budget as Content: BV 1 & 2 mostly only include finances as part of the game-ification of the show. The members had to earn money as an allowance for the activities and determine the best ways to spend it. (I do vaguely remember some members wanting to negotiate for more when buying souvenirs? Was that just in the extra scenes? It's been so long, I've been holding off on rewatching until I'm done with my Run series).

Thankfully, the success of BTS has basically nixed the budget games. I think the last time we saw something like this were the Run episodes of a hotel staycation? But the prices were ficticious and not necessarily about real-world spending but rather determining the secret number to not exceed. (If I'm misremembering and there are more recent examples, please share!) Imo, it would just be too tone-deaf to continue portraying the members in that context. I know we all joke about them being broke millionaires, but there's a reason why celebrity game shows always make it clear that the money involved is for charity.

Anyway, back to AYS, the interesting bit to me is wondering about the inclusion of Taehyung from a budget standpoint. How was that reconciled? None of us can possibly know the answer, but it's interesting to think about. Some costs wouldn't have changed at all with one extra participant, like the house rental, or booking the climbing gym or yacht tour. But there were a few extra concessions, getting the extra mattress likely was more a logistics headache on short notice rather than an impact to the budget. And most Korean meals are served family-style so there honestly isn't a huge difference cost-wise. Except maybe the omakase. That I can imagine was noticeably more expensive with an added individual.

But really, the most expensive item per person would likely have been travel. Did someone say Tae was already in Jeju prior to filming? If he wasn't, did the show cover his flights like they would have JK, JM, and the crew? Or is the budget on these shows big enough that it was just another drop in a bucket? Also, the intent likely was for JK to zip around on the motorbike and JM to be on the scooter. I'm curious if they weren't logistically able to get another such vehicle with the short notice or if the budget/sponsorship constraint didn't allow for a third one the day. Or it could be that the scooter exists because of the 3 member count and production thought one of them could be JKs backpack. That bike has the space for it. But perhaps the difficulty to get coverage and/or converse wasn't appealing. Or maybe there just wasn't a third radio-enabled helmet prepared?

I know the various shippers are using this in their arguments. I'd like to firmly state that I am not building a case for either side here. Go do that on your own and leave me out of it. Lol.

There are so many questions and it's interesting to theorize how the finances could have impacted the development of the show. Maybe we'll get some more insight with the remaining episodes and bonus footage but I doubt it. Finances don't usually make for engaging content.

Smol Brainstorm: Would You Stay With Me In Korea?

Author's Note: Anotha smol oneshot/brainstorm. I found this in the old documents. This will take place in BTS Bon Voyage Season 3! The scene where the cute little boy went up to Jungkook and shook his hand. When I saw the scene this idea popped into my head and I wrote about it. It made me think of Jungkook wondering about the future with him and Jennie. Wondering if she'd stay with him in Korea and marry him one day.

I may add onto this when I officially get to this chapter but enjoy the cheese! (I still have yet to watch Season 3 but when I get to the chapter, I will! Val got a lot to cover lol.)

Looking at his phone while holding her hand, Jungkook tried to figure out where they were supposed to be going. Meanwhile, Jennie happily observed the scenery of Malta in the evening as the camera crew followed them. The couple had gotten so used to the cameras filming their moments together that it was like they didn't even notice anymore.

“Okay, I feel like we’ve been walking in circles. You sure you know where we’re going? I can always just look at the phone.” she suggested.

“I got it…I think.” he stopped walking and released her hand, scrolling through the map.

Laughing, she took his phone to figure out what the problem was. Periodically, she glanced at her surroundings while he stood next to her, watching what she was doing.

“This isn’t the right way,” she confirmed.

“What?” he whined. “How?”

“Kookie, just admit that you got us lost and you got too confident.”

“I-I was not!”

“That whole I’m the Golden Maknae speech from earlier is kinda funny now after finding out you were taking us the wrong way.”

“Or I did it on purpose so we can spend more time alone before we have to meet up with the rest of the hyungs,” he admitted.

“Which I enjoyed! But you could have just told me.” she playfully bumped into him while a bright smile came across his face.

Once he received his phone back, he then noticed a figure running their way and turned, looking down to see a little black boy staring at them curiously. Jennie glanced at her boyfriend, about to ask what he was looking at but then saw the kid. The boy was smiling at them and it made her heart flutter when Jungkook stuck out his hand for him to shake. After the child cutely ran off, looking back at them occasionally, Jungkook laughed softly and said that the boy was cute.

Before Jennie could comment on how adorable of a scene she had witnessed, Jungkook spoke up, again.

“Ah…I bet our kids will be just as cute as him.” he thought out loud.

Her heart began to race at his statement while Jungkook looked shooked when he realized he blurted it out loud. The camera crew filming them thought it was adorable while she looked down shyly with her face on fire.

Did he really mean that?

And just when she was about to reply, the little boy and his parents approached the couple and greeted them, introducing themselves.

Jennie gushed over how adorable the boy was and was able to see his cute smile up close and personal. She gave him a hug when she kneeled to his level and enjoyed his adorable answers to her questions as she asked him if he was enjoying himself and what he did for fun, today.

“Are you from here?” The mom asked once Jennie stood up.

“No, ma’am, my boyfriend and I are vacationing with our friends. It’s a beautiful place.”

“Wow, how long have you two been dating?”

“A couple of years, now.” she proudly said with a smile.

“Ah, young love. You remind me of my husband and I during our college years. Well, I hope for many more years to come. With the way you are with our son, I can see you’re good with children.”

“Me? You think so?”

“Yes, indeed. I bet you will be a great mom, one day.”

“Really? Wow, thank you. I hope so, too.” she grinned and laughed cutely, making Jungkook smile. “How long have you two been married?”

“We are actually celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary.”

“Wow, 12 years? What a blessing! I am so happy for you.”

“Thank you, sweetheart. This man drives me off the wall sometimes but I love him.”

After a nice conversation with the family and saying goodbye, Jungkook walked with Jennie to their destination.

“Me as a mom? I get so nervous when someone brings something like that up. Do you really think I’ll be a good parent?” she started to ramble.

“I thought about it, actually,”

That took her by surprise but she thought he was joking and playfully hit him in response.

“Don’t joke like that!”

“Who said I was, Mrs. Jeon?” he giggled, looking at her lovingly while her heart skipped a beat.

“Stop playing with me.”

Kissing the top of her head, he wrapped an arm around her as they continued to walk. 

He thought about it often. The thought of marrying her and having children with her in the future. He couldn't see himself with anyone else but her. These years of being together have been filled with amazing memories and he couldn't wait to create more with her. 

For a while, he had started thinking that she was the one whom he wanted to settle down with. But he wondered if she would want to permanently be with him in Korea. Would she leave America and live with him in Korea?

With his mind deep in thought, he decided to ask what was on his mind as he removed his arm from her and continued holding her hand.

“Jagi?”

“Yes?”

With butterflies in his stomach, as he thought about the future with her, he asked softly, “Would you...would you want to stay in Korea with me?”

Jennie stopped walking which made him stop, too as she made him face her. Standing on her toes, she grabbed onto his shirt and pulled him close for a sweet kiss as he held her in his arms.

Pulling away, she smiled. “Yes, I would.”

I am comparatively new to BTS, I had had their songs on my playlists but didn't know anything about their band dynamics. After I came across a run bts short on yt I became curious about their content and haven't been able to stop.

I hadn't even heard the term taekook but I was almost certain that there was something about those two that was different from the rest. I was certain that they were a couple but then I came to know about the various ships and sk's homophobia. I've been to so many jikook blogs and twtrs because I wanted to know what exactly I was missing in their interactions because to me they looked like friends, I just didn't get any couple vibes from them. I couldn't find that intensity b/w jk and jm which is very clearly present b/w tae & jk. Some tkkrs theories are wild, some of their interactions are blown way out of proportion but that still doesn't change the fact that they have that chemistry.

I came across your blog yesterday and I've been loving your take on tk. You are one of those rare bloggers who don't go around matching clothes and dates. Your opinions are quite level headed.

Jikook moments in Bon Voyage~ My summer rewatch

I've been spending my summer rewatching old BTS content. Last week, I binged Bon Voyage Season 2, and now I'm on Season 3. I love that they chose Malta to spend time together; I was completely smitten, especially with Jikook when they paired up for sightseeing. One moment that stood out was how Jimin showed his protective and possessive side over Jungkook.

When Hobi asked Tae why they ended up hugging each other’s feet while sleeping, both Jungkook and Taehyung were speechless and seemed unsure of what to say. It was clear they were aware of Jimin’s reaction. Jimin took charge and reframed the question for clarity, asking, “What? Did they hug each other????” He first pointed out Jungkook hugging Tae’s feet, and you could see he was unhappy about it. He even said, “What’s wrong?”

Jimin is always on guard and ready to fight when it comes to jungkook . This was just my analysis. I hope you don’t mind—just sharing my views and thoughts after watching the episode.

I remember I think that you said you enjoyed Bon Voyage season 4 the most in terms of enjoying the Taekook content. Why did you enjoy this season the most?

I like season four, but not for the Taekook content. I said that despite what people say, there is Taekook in BV4. You just have to be observant and look for it, and there's more than you think.

BV1 probably has the most unfilitered Taekook Content, BV4 has the most filtered (i.e. it's there but you have to look for it). So in order of filtered/unfiltered it goes like this for me...

BV1 - It felt like every part of the trip was stage managed within an inch of it's life, but we got quite a bit of TK content.

BV2 - Whilst staged/structure very heavily there were moments outside of this, particularly the boys playing music, shooting MVs, dancing and generally just having fun in the outdoor mall. Some TK content, mostly in the beginning and Helicopter ride.

BV3 - Aside from Ep. 4 (where we got TK in a room/double bed and being all homely), we got more content from Malta from photo drops and Redbull, where we see JK and Tae out and about without the rest of the group.

BV4 - edited to limit TK but if you really look you can still see it.

If I were to order my preference, I'd say my favourite to least is...

I really liked BV4 despite the TK editing by BH because it felt less stage managed and controlled by the managers than in previous seasons. BV1 & 2 felt like more expensive RUN BTS episodes. BV3 moved away from this, though it still had its moments and BV4 took this even further and was probably the pre-curser to 'In The Soop'.

And of course In the Soop (both seasons) feature Taekook a lot.

What are your favorite BTS contents besides Run BTS?

I really enjoyed Bon Voyage, especially the seasons in Malta and New Zealand. I became a fan around the time when the first season of In The Soop dropped and I have to admit that it worked for me back then because I was still stuck indoors (early pandemic). But as an entertainment product, BV are much better at keeping the audience's attention due to its format. Run BTS as well, although some episodes are definitely a miss. This is an old ask, but this week they released the first part in which everyone had to create a live episode in front of the other members. I wish I wouldn't have had to watch Hobi play with children's toys that need a toilet.
