obviously buffy using one single mention of jenny to psychologically manipulate giles is so funny, but the thing that really gets me is that girl was acting MAJORLY SKETCH up until and well past that point???? giles was visibly like "what the fuck is up with you" until buffy SLAMMED the panic button like MS. CALENDAR THINKS YOU'RE SUPER HOT at which point his entire focus shifted to literally only that. the fact that giles's thing about jenny is so mind-meltingly loud that all the kids know they can use it to factory reset him will never stop being the best thing in the entire world

So…I watched the Buffy Movie because it was free on Amazon so NATURALLY I had to edit my Buffy DR script so I’ve chosen a reality where Pike joins Buffy in moving to Sunnydale seeing as the events of the movie (him included) did in fact happen similarly in the show/comics aka what my DR is closer to in terms of events. I thought Pike would be a good way to ignore Xander before Oz joins the Scoobies I mean he’s like if you got Oz, Spike, a HINT of Xander and combined them into one dude. In short he’s far more tolerable than Xander and kinda cute (DON’T JUDGE ME I HAVE A TYPE). I can’t wait to see the Spike and Pike banter. I think they’ll either be friends or hate each other’s guts either way I’d enjoy it.

Buffy turns his face back to hers. Tenderly runs her fingers along his transformed features. Angel is overwhelmed. Nobody has ever touched him like this.

BUFFY I didn't even notice. She draws him close. Gaze steady. Until her lips touch his…

They melt into a heart-stopping kiss.

Yeah, I've been reading through some of the BTVS and Angel scripts for funsies lately and I noticed that part that I bolded here, and wow.

When your boyfriend in another reality is VERY similar to the character you bought a video game for 💀 Not to mention the Astarion to Spike pipeline I fell on when I was on tik tok (aka the whole reason I found and have been rewatching Buffy for the past year and trying to shift to my preferred reality of it). I might choose a reality where baldur’s gate 3 exists just to mess with William and see his reaction to Astarion. 😭😭 But when I saw this picture I was like “Oh my god. I HAVE to post about it.”

ANGEL & CORDELIA

At the table. Cordelia says something. Laughs. Angel shakes his head - finally laughs, too. Maybe at her. Maybe at not. Cordelia looks radiant - in full flirt mode.

ON BUFFY

Who looks at herself. At the mess that Buffy is. She hesitates. Then starts to turn away.

So, what's interesting about this part of the Halloween script here, is that segment about whether you weren't supposed to know if Angel was laughing with Cordelia or at her, basically.

Because in the actual scene--the way that David played it--it definitely seemed like he found Cordelia's joke funny. Many people actually feel like that's one of the most genuine laughs we ever got from Angel, and I do get why.

Also, in the script, that whole part was before Cordelia's line about her Barbie dream car, which she did say later on in the script (that's not actually what Angel laughed at in the script. We don't know what he was laughing about at all there. Clearly in shooting--or in editing--they changed the order of things a bit.).

mainly because the BTV writers tried to put in a homosexual relationship into the script, which WOLF TV executives shut down without discussion.

At least the Eighth Inspector got his bromance in the audio plays.
