Well my OC Paige replaces her as the Main Heroine so here's some lore about her :>

Paige is not related to established Disney Canon and meant to represent the reader/audience. Her last name Walters is based on Walt Disney but that's about it

Her theme color is orange since it complements Ben's blue and I don't see many orange-themed characters as the lead in general + i didn't want to use Mal's palette I want to distance Paige from her XD

She came from MURICA to study runes and joins a group with Soraya (Milo and Kida's daughter) and Arthur and Aggie (children of Basil of Baker Street and my other OC Edith).

So they're now the new Core Four; they don't consider themselves to be AKs or VKs they're just vibing together amidst the conflict

I think the first time Ben and Paige met he was travelling incognito and he helped her escape a group of thugs that had been harassing a village she had visited during her third week

Her faceclaim is Beth Chapel's actress

Mal on the other hand begins as a straight up antagonist, ruling the Isle of the Lost with an iron fist. She has no parenthood in the traditional sense as Maleficent created her from dark essence as the perfect heir in case something happens to her. So at first Mal is really into tyranny until she realizes how f-ed up in the head her predecessor was after she gets overthrown. She might still join Carlos, Evie and Jay if they take pity on her and show her how to act like a normal kid and fix her mistakes. She and Paige don't have much a rivalry though they do keep their distance. Mal and Audrey on the other hand....oh boy XD

YES YES YES. Of course i read fics. I read them everywhere, shamelessly. On the train, on the subway, at college, at family dinners (that one was risky, i must admit). JAJAJA. Same!! I read fics everywhere. I don’t worry to much about my family knowing I’m reading, bc no one understands English. But I freak out every time I let my iPad with a fic opened, bc they can see Harry’s or Louis’ name and I don’t want them to know I’m reading about them,😅😅. I run out of fics to read sometimes! That’s how much I read, jajajja. They’re always part of my bedtime routine, jajajjajaa. And, well, I was reading a fic, I liked it a lot, but I checked the author and she’s a bit “questionable”, so… I’ll reserve my opinion, if you don’t mind. I read someone’s opinion on the fact that people write stories about Harry and Louis, but then they don’t think they’re gay (as in part of LGBT+ community), and believe Louis is a dad, and all the rest. And they said why that is wrong, bc they’re fetishizing gay relationships. And it made sense. And if a queer person (I don’t know if I can use that word, sorry) says that, I have to believe it, y'know. So, when I read a fic from an author I don’t know, I check their blog, just to see. And I saw that, so I won’t be sharing the fic, sorry (which is a pity, but… 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Pd: waaaa, I almost forget about my limo (liam,jajja). Well, I was going to bed, but before it I looked out the window, and called him. I was calling for a good half an hour. And then a black cat appeared, and I thought hey! they are coming! Then another black and wait cat came. And I didn’t stop calling Liam. And HE CAME!!! He came to my window, where Honey and I were. And I told him to jump, but his so fat… jajajjaa. So I called at my house phone so my mom would go to open the backdoor, and I went out from the front door. And when I reached my window he was up there, but he couldn’t go in, bc I had closed it, so Honey wouldn’t go out. And he jumped and went to the back door to wait for my mom no open the door, and then he run and run till my room, jajajaj, to see if there was food in his bowl. And, just that. They I “bath” him. And gave him a pill to desparasitarle(?), and put him a collar para las pulgas? Jajaja. And then I feed him. He was exhausted and hungry. My poor boy. I don’t know why he keeps going ou, if he doesn’t like it,jejeje.  Honey kept smelling him bc he smelled different, just FOR A DAY OUT!! (Jo, hablo TANTO!!!) Thanks for asking, love.

Okay back to my possible Descendants "Generation 2" AU (part 1 of many)

There are two versions of this: one where it follows the movies, and another that follows its own continuity. This post describes the lore of the new continuity.

The Villain Kids are unrelated to disney villains and is a fan club. Members styled themselves off of legendary villains. They're mostly amicable people, if a bit sharp. And in Evie and Carlos's case sharply dressed. They tend to wear all black with colored accents (Carlos/red, Evie/sapphire, Jay/yellow).

Auradon is now a territory of modern day France still owned by living descendants of the French royal family. There are two branches: The Florian branch and the Charming Branch. The Florians came into power sometime in the mid or late 1700s while the Charmings came into power in the 1800s, except by then they ruled only a small portion. This would make Ben and Chad distant cousins. The Florian's retain blue and gold; the Charmings are silver and white (acknowledging the original color of Cinderella's dress) although Chad wears grey to symbolize his new Jerk with a Heart of Gold persona. Ben has to wear some type of blue or gold as is it customary.

Audrey and Evie's family are descended from Germanic royalty. Audrey's grandmother was an American who married into one of the families; she didn't have much growing up which is why she pressures Audrey hard to appreciate what she has and to work. This causes a rift in their relationship. The Royal colors are red, blue & green (reference to the original fairy trio) with pink, purple and blue being Audrey's personal colors.

Evie's family is no longer recognized as royalty. They own a few acres of land but seldom used it unless for business or vacation.

The Isle of the Lost still exist but as a way for people to escape pressures of their life. Once they find the answer to the problems they are given the choice to leave.

Uma and Harry's crew chose to stay to help those who remain on the isle but lately the magic is running dry, causing a series of blights. Uma wishes to find a way to save the island. Even if it means going further into genuine piracy. They retain their old colors because they looked too damn 😎

Ben retains his original character arc of helping people, only now he wishes to help benefit everyone living on Auradon. He also has to deal with political issues, mainly involving whether Auradon should be recognized as its own country or be assimilated into French or even America (long ass story). Which is a cause for disputes among Auradians.

Auradon itself is a hodgepodge of different cultures: Caribbean, African, German, French, American, you name it! Which is why Lonnie, who grew up in the countryside of China, struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. She is a scholarship kid skilled in sports and swordsmanship. She has a rivalry with Chad, and a friendlier rivalry with Jay.

The Agrabah Royal Family still has the magic Lamp. Genie is still around mentoring members of the Royals. Their family colors are aqua-blue & purple (representing Jasmine & Aladdin)

Jay lived with a single mother who has from chronic illness. He has plan to steal the lamp to sell it off to pay for her treatments.

Mal doesn't exist. She doesn't have that right. If I do bring her in she will become a villain and stay that way.

The new main character is a commoner (her story will be elaborated in a future post) with no royal blood or magical heritage to speak of. She really is from a working class background and worked her way into Auradon. Ironically she didn't even want to attend Auradon until her parents encouraged her to take the opportunity to improve her life. So she's kinda like Emma Swan, only nobody hassles her to keep playing (sorry for the shade). She will be Ben's official love interest because he deserved a better girlfriend and Auradon deserved a better Queen.

Other characters include

- Oskar, a prince from the Southern Isles who is trying to come to terms with a torrid family history. His color is white and purple.

- Soraya, the actual daughter of Kida and Milo (the first Descendants OC I made btw). Her colors are crystal blue and dark pink.

- Aggie and Arthur Flaversham, descendants of Sherlock Holmes & my OC Edith. Their colors are brown and beige.

- Martina, descendant of Elena of Avalor and the school's science whiz. Her color is scarlet.

- Doug, who like the VK isn't related to a Disney character but heavily referencing them, this case the Seven Dwarfs. He and Evie has a developed relationship this time. His color is lemon yellow.

- Jane, a fairy in training who learns to become more confident in her magic. Her color is powder blue.

The reason for so many students with noble or magical blood is that Auradon started as a prep school for royals or wealthy sorcerers in training. It was only a few years ago they've started issuing scholarships. Auradon does have a public school system (which is a cause of discourse as middle/lower class families want their children to attend better schools).

That's about it for the Descendants AU. I hope this isn't too taxing for anyone to read, but I really like this series and wanted to explore the lore in its fullest potential. Next post will be about the OC main character and why I decided to put her in Mal's place.
