still not a thing but this is my blog and i make the rules and i'm THINKING about birdie and fabin. i swear i'll get back to jack and arthur in a second just let me scream about birdie and fabin for a minute

Emilia tucks her wings against her back, settling in the grass next to Birdie. “When do you think we’ll have to return to Morbhard?”

Birdie stares out over the fields, her pulse quickening. Emilia senses that she’s asked a question that Birdie doesn’t want to answer. Birdie lets out a long breath. “I’m not sure.”

A lie, but Emilia doesn’t question it.

Birdie glances at the sky. “The sun will go down soon. I should make preparations. It’s the full silver moon tonight.”

Emilia shrinks into her human form and sets her hand on Birdie’s shoulder. “I can make the tea if you’d like.”

Birdie smiles. “Thank you. That would be nice.”

Emilia returns to the cottage and puts the kettle on the fire, digging her toe into the floor as she mixes the herbs. As much as she trusts them, as much as they’ve all grown closer over the weeks and months at the cottage, Birdie is still hiding things.

The kettle finally starts to whistle and Emilia pours a cup of tea. She heads back out to the garden. Birdie is standing next to Fabin, clearly just arrived from the forest, smiling up at him as he complains that the deer are getting better at hiding. Her laughter dies abruptly as the silver moon’s light hits her, her preparations forgotten in the grass a few steps away.

Fabin backs away as Birdie’s silver light explodes outward, a pulse of magic flattening the grass in a circle around her. Her tripled voice shrieks, her hair lifting off her shoulders. The entire whites of her eyes burn silver.

Blood starts to run from her nose. Fabin shrinks and tries to step closer, shouting her name. Emilia grabs a washcloth and grips it tightly behind her back, the fabric straining as she twists it nervously.

Birdie’s eyes begin to bleed as well, silver light pulsing from her. Fabin grits his teeth and takes three more shaking steps through the waves to reach Birdie. He grabs her shoulders and Emilia hears him shout her name.

Blood is streaming from her eyes and ears now, the third recitation barely begun. Fabin winces as silver magic lashes out at him, cuts opening on his cheeks. He keeps hold of Birdie, shaking her shoulders, trying to wake her up.

The silver light fades and Birdie’s eyes roll back. She collapses and Fabin catches her, lowering her slowly to the grass.

“Shit.” Jack and Arthur freeze in the doorway of the cottage. “Is she okay?”

“Does she fucking look okay?” Fabin growls, glaring at them. He snatches Birdie’s handkerchief from where she’d left it in the grass and starts to gently wipe the blood from her face. Emilia picks up the cup of tea again and moves cautiously. Birdie’s eyelids are fluttering, though she is limp in Fabin’s arms.

“The tea for her throat,” Emilia says quietly, when Fabin looks up at her with another growl. “I’ll look at those cuts.”

“I’m fine.” He holds the teacup to Birdie’s lips and Emilia flinches at the audibly painful gulps. “Birdie, can you hear me?”

Her silver eyes flick up to his face before fluttering closed again. She tucks her face into his chest.

Fabin leans down to murmur something to her that Emilia doesn’t hear. He presses his cheek to the side of Birdie’s head and Emilia stifles a gasp, averting her eyes.

Fabin stands with Birdie in his arms. “She needs to rest,” he says, not looking at any of them. He winces as he adjust his hold on her and Emilia wonders what other damage Birdie’s backlash did.

He says nothing else as he carries her into the house. Emilia bites her lip as Jack and Arthur turn to her with wide eyes. “I’ll make some more tea.”

I LOVE the like. Sleeveless w long gloves sif agenda do Not worry. I only usually draw them with the short gloves long undershirt because im always referencing that plushhhhh. When i first started playing isat i had this thought that sasasap sif is the one with the 'slutty' (incredible word choice btw that Is what this combo is) fit and isat siff is the one with the 'normal' one. (All of my hcs can exist at once and be changed and nothing is concrete and that is the Fun 😈)

In my interpretation there's more dimensions than just The End and Nether. There's also the Twilight Forest and The Aether because those two mods register as Vanilla+ in my mind. (Also stuff like Glares, Mooblooms, Copper Constructs, etc. are here too because I'm a salty jackass and this is MY silly thing ♡)

People in this are more or less furry-esque due to exposure to magic. Scar lived in a more magical environment than Martyn, so he's more cat-like instead of more humanoid.

"Undeads" are just their own thing and not actually dead! They have light sensitivity to the point of burning/melting due to the sun leeching their magical energy. Skeletons are very thin naturally and have a high metabolism and very good eyesight. Their eyes are sunken and black but their pupils reflect lots of light like a cat's would. Zombies are slower and have a symbiotic relationship with a bacteria that helps them survive on less food but makes them smell kinda gross. Wither skeletons are similar to normal skeletons but are much faster, taller, and more muscular. Though, their bones are much more brittle.

Planets/Dimensions Radiate magic from within themselves, and Stars burn away their own magic and neutralize it with their light. (Hence why undeads burn in sunlight) The farther you go underground the more magical the lifeforms are. The Nether and Twilight Forest are both underground dimensions due to their planets being closer to their stars. The End is a gas giant with magic infused islands of rock that float naturally, though it is close to its star it's atmosphere is so dense that it isn't effected very much. Btw the Nether is Venus. I know this in my heart ♡ (the other three are just random high-magic planets that linked to The Overworld) The Aether is also a gas giant but is more linked to The Overworld's magic, thus when you fall into the core you wind up in The Overworld's atmosphere. Bedrock is infused with so much magic that it isn't breakable by mortal lifeforms.

Humans do exist! Btw! I know I only have two but listen... I'm a furry. Humans generally are more effected by magic than anything else, hence why there are so many human-like people in my interpretation.

I started writing an omegaverse fic as a gotcha to any AI getting data from ao3. But as I started doing more research into it I realized I actually really liked some of the concepts! What can I say? I'm a furry.

Hatchetfield is connected to a wolf goddess named Timby, and that's where citizens get their wolf-like features from.

Only people born in Hatchetfield are part wolf. People who move there are fully human and don't have a rank or anything

Hatchetfield used to be under the influence of the Lords in Black, however, Timby overthrew them and now rules the town in a less cruel, more subtle way.

Anatomical notes:

One's rank and sex characteristics are determined through their genes

The genes for omegas and alphas are dominant over the X or Y chromosomes in determining genitalia, but the X/Y chromosomes are dominant over the beta gene. However, secondary sex characteristics are always determined by the X/Y chromosomes with some exceptions (for example if a wolf gene plays a part in determining a secondary sex characteristic for someone, they may have several nipples or breasts as opposed to just two)

This means alphas and omegas can usually reproduce with betas (with a lower success rate than an alpha omega pairing), but alphas and omegas can rarely have a child with one of their own rank.

There is such a thing as being mixed rank, which is when one has the genitalia of one rank, but the instincts, type of scent, and behaviors of another. This does not produce a feeling of dysphoria, it's just a state of being.

The moon goddess Timby can "choose" people while they are in the womb, and this creates an epsilon (ε) ranked person.

Epsilon ranked people possess no reproductive organs, and normally are more animalistic than any other rank in appearance. It's not uncommon for them to have fangs, a tail, wolfish ears, and a full body of fur, whereas most other wolf people only have one or two more subtle animal traits.

Epsilons can still reproduce through asexual, magical means. Through a combination of manifestation magic and several magical elixirs and other ingredients from the Witchwoods fed to the one who will carry the baby, a blastocyst can be formed within a month, which will then follow the normal stages of embryonic and fetal development, with dna being drawn from living things of the Witchwoods as well as their parent. They'll often have strong magical powers (the Gift), and Timby will likely watch over their bloodline as the Gift is passed through it.
