Whenever I'm trying to get water out of something without a strainer—EVERY single time without fail—I think back to that one minigame in Cooking Mama where you have to carefully tilt the pot of whatever you're cooking so its contents don't spill with the water and fly out to the other hemisphere. I'm there tipping the pot ever so slightly and I'm suddenly 8 y/o again with Mama calling me a disgrace to her heritage for letting some of the noodles slip away

My personal top 37 for Eurovision 2023 Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
24) Australia - as I place it here in the top I still have no idea what to think of this song? Whether it sounds cool or just out there :''
23) Belgium - song is okay, apparently he's a great performer which paired with a positive song usually means good news for Belgium (I wouldn't have given two cents to Laura Tesoro but that's what well-channelled charisma will do to a mid song), this can do very well
22) Latvia - this sounds so indie, which I like, but I'm usually more of a happy indie type, so this flies over my head a bit; the last bit in Latvian in stellar though, absolutely beautiful
21) Portugal - oh this is so portuguese, which I absolutely say as a compliment :'' it's actually quite good to see, especially after the sad parenthesis that their 2021 entry was for me
20) Israel - I…I mean, it's not bad I guess? It's a bit all over the place, also I just can't get myself to take the ''power of the unicorn'' thing seriously, like I have never heard of unicorns being associated to power? And why does she turn into a CENTAUR in the video?? The ''phenomenal'' part sounds annoyingly cool Her fandom is one of the worst this year btw, absolutely terrible
19) Poland - someone, for the love of all is right and fair, please come and get that BEJBA out of my mind lmao The song itself is alright, it's outrageously catchy but she can't sing it and I think we all pay attention to it mostly because of memes and because of some scandal I heard happened with the Polish tv Oh, I never finished watching the official video because that part where she's eating with her mouth open is so gross lol
18) The Netherlands - this walks on the very fine line between very delicate and almost inconsistent, kinda like a candle flame that's about to be blown away by the wind Still haven't decided where exactly it stands for me :''
17) Armenia - this sounds like something I should like in theory, but I feel like there's a bit too much going on in it, like a lot of different pieces of a puzzle that I'm not sure fit too tightly with one another
16) Georgia - As it is, it has too harsh a start and I find it a bit repetitive It is undoubtedly cool, but I think it could have been even better, also a mention is due to how godawfully written the lyrics are :'' Had this been in Georgian it would have slapped buttcheeks though
15) Malta - I actually like this, it's groovy and SO cozy at the same time, and I find myself randomly going ''…do you wanna DANCE'' during my day lol The sweater gimmick is cute
14) Iceland - I actually enjoy this BUT in small doses, because both the song and her voice are quite explosive and if I listen to them excessively they kinda tire me in a way? The P-p-p-p-power bit is actually my favourite
13) Denmark - this song is so PASTEL asdfghjk everything about it is so cute and he looks like a fawn lol I guess I warmed up to vocoder effects, also unrelated but it's cool that he's Faroese
12) Ireland - pains me to say it, but Ireland's only purpose in Eurovision in this day and age is providing my guilty pleasures :'' They have failed few times in this since when I watch, and they certainly didn't fail this year :'' this is so cliché that it almost does a 180 degrees turn and becomes a cheesy anthem that can be enjoyed in moderation

Recess sobs and bedtime resolutions
Pairing: fem!Reader x Spencer
Request: Ok so the reader is a psychologist and is married to spencer and they have a 5 year old daughter who gets in trouble for punching a kid because they picked on her because they didn't beleive her dad was in the fbi If that makes sense any who if you don't write this i get it I just want to see speancers reaction
Trigger warnings: bullying, physical violence. (let me know if i forgot something)
Category: fluff, slight angst.
A/N: thank you so much for this request! I hope you like it. The daughter sounds a bit older than 5, in my head she’s in the early stages of elementary school. Let me know what you think about it! I’d be glad to receive some feedback. (Btw I hurt my own feelings writing this, you can’t even imagine...)
Tumblr media
You were in your office, a typical Tuesday afternoon until you heard your office phone ring once more. You held up your finger to make your client pause what they were saying, you picked up the phone only to hang up.
“I apologise for the inconvenience. Now where were we ?” you said trying to get your client comfortable again despite the ringing. As she was about to speak up again, your cellphone rang, Spencer’s name lit up your screen and that’s when you were starting to get concerned.
“I’m so sorry I have to get that.” You said exiting the office to take the call. You were happy to hear your significant other’s voice nonetheless you knew he wouldn’t normally call you during working hours.
“Hi darling, is everything okay ?”
“No, not really. The school called, there’s an emergency.” he responded wrapping his scarf around his neck as he was making his way to the elevator.
“What happened ?” you asked getting more and more worried.
“She punched a classmate in the face. Can you believe it ?!” he pressed the button 0 waving goodbye to his coworkers.
“What ? Our daughter? Jane ? Are you sure it’s not her evil twin ?”
“Eviler twin you mean ? No offense, Y/n, but if she had one, I’m pretty sure you would remember…”
“Alright, I’ll tell my secretary to cancel all my appointments for the day. I’ll meet you there.”
“Love you, bye.”
“Love you too.” You answered before hanging up. You made it a little bit of a rule to yourself to never say ‘goodbye’ to him because you thought that if you did it may increase the chances of you never seeing him again. You knew it was a bit silly but with all those times he was close to death, you’d believe in any superstition if that meant he would get home safe.
After taking care of your client and letting your secretary handle the rest, you hurried out of your office to drive to your daughter’s elementary school.
You pushed the interphone button, once you were allowed entrance you walked to the principal’s office. You softly knocked, when the door opened it showed Spencer sitting in a chair right across the desk, next to it was an empty chair meant for you.
“I’m sorry, I came as I soon as I could.” you apologized.
“Well, I assume you’re Jane’s mother. It’s nice to meet you. I’m Principal Walker.” he greeted shaking your hand. As you sat down, Spencer gave you his best polite white smile.
“Do you know what you’re here for ?” he inquired.
“You said our daughter was involved in a conflict with a student...” you answered.
“Your daughter punched a student in the face.” He said bluntly.
“Right…”
“Are you sure it’s Jane ?” Spencer asked still struggling to believe it.
“Wait until you see her knuckles...”
Spencer put his face in his hands in defeat, you rubbed his shoulder to bring him comfort.
“What happened exactly ?” you asked.
“Well, it was during the 10AM break. Jane went out to play with her classmates when a boy started arguing with her. Next thing we hear is a scream, the boy is on the floor crying.”
You and Spencer both looked at each other with an immense look of stupor.
“The boy, did he bully her ?” Spencer asked trying to find some innocence in the sweet child of his.
“Not that we know of.” answered the principal.
“Is he okay though ?” you questioned.
“Yes, just a minor injury. He went back home.”
You nodded, “So what happens next ?”
“We are giving her a warning but the next time something like this happens there will be harsher consequences than a simple punishment. Understood ?”
“Yes. we understand. Thank you for your time, sir.” you said as you rose up from your chair. Spencer and you both exited the room finding your daughter in the waiting lounge looking guilty as ever. You saw Spencer’s face look puzzled and hostile. To torture your daughter with even more guilt you told her to ride back home with her dad which she did not love but couldn’t protest.
Spencer hardly spoke to Jane the entire drive. He was dry, so much it looked like he ignored her. Jane was desperate to get him to talk to her.
“Please, dad. Don’t be mad at me!” she exclaimed.
“I’m not mad, I’m disappointed.” those words he pronounced cut like a knife. You knew that by seeing her dad’s reaction she would become aware of the gravity of her actions. And he actually wasn’t mad, at least not until he saw her pouting face. He loved her too much to be angry.
“Okay but can you just talk to me!” she whined.
“Oh we will, back home with your mom.”
That car ride lasted longer for Jane than usual. No music, no anecdotes nor laughs, just plain silence and introspection while gazing at the landscape.
Your house was in the suburbs near a forest, Spencer had all sorts of scientific arguments as to why living near nature was beneficial but you just loved the paysage before your eyes when taking your morning coffee. The location was perfect; in nature which means less pollution, noise and lower criminal rates yet a short car ride from the city which was full of cultural spots and with high quality education.
Jane tried to run up the stairs in hope to avoid her parents’ correction but was interrupted by your strict toned voice; “Not so fast, young lady.”
She shut her eyes stopping dead in her tracks, she lifted her stuffed animal and said to it “It was nice knowing you, fluffy.” She then turned around and sat on the couch.
Spencer was pacing around, “Why did you do it ?” He asked his daughter his voice slightly higher than before. She started melting in tears which truly pained him. You walked up to her, as you were sat on the couch next to her you started stroking her arm and drying her tears.
“It’s okay. We’re just trying to understand why you did that. There’s no way you would’ve done it without a reason.” you told her.
“Jeremy kept making fun of me…” she struggled to get out whimpering.
“How long has he been making fun of you ?” Spencer asked.
“Since Valentine’s day when everyone was exchanging cards but my box was empty.” You glanced at Spencer in shock of how long you hadn’t known your daughter was getting bullied, silently suffering.
“Honey, I’m so sorry you had to go through this.” you reassured her kissing her cheek and running your hands through her hair. “But what happened exactly that made you punch him ?”
“He made fun of dad, he wouldn’t believe he was in the FBI.” She answered tilting her head up. “I asked him to stop but he wouldn’t so I defended myself.” she affirmed seeming not so guilty anymore. You unwrapped your arms from her giving her a frown.
“That’s not how you deal with problems.” Spencer said sitting on the low table across the couch.
“Yeah, you could’ve talked to us first but you didn’t even try. You know you can tell us everything ?” You backed him up.
“I know but I thought I could deal with this problem on my own. You guys always seem so good at it. And I want to be just like you when I grow up.”
You glanced at Spencer both slightly smiling at each other.
“If there’s one thing I learned from my job at the FBI is that violence is never the answer. It’s only justifiable if it’s legitimate defence; when you life is in danger.”
“Dad, do you still love me ?” she asked watching her feet swinging on the edge of the couch.
“Of course, I love you. I always will, no matter what.” he responded taking hold of her hand. “Okay?” She nodded. She didn’t seem to understand that punching someone is wrong. You needed to have a talk with Spencer;
“Now go to your room and do your homework, we’ll talk punishment tomorrow morning.” You said.
“But-“ she protested.
“No buts, go to your room.” You ordered.
You joined Spencer on the couch, he looked completely defeated. “Hey, are you alright ?” You asked him while taking a seat next to him. “Yes.” He answered a bit too quickly. “I mean…No…Not really.” You knew exactly why he was feeling like this. “It’s not your fault, Spence.” you reassured him playing with his hair.
“This whole time…And I didn’t know she was struggling. What kind of father am I ?”
“I come home every night and I didn’t know about this. It’s not because of your job, it’s not because of us. I’m blaming the school, here. They’re the ones who are supposed to prevent bullying from happening.”
He rummaged his hair with his hands whilst his elbows rested on his knees.
“Plus it’s a good sign, she doesn’t get along with kids her age…” you said slightly smirking.
“How?!” Spencer asks slightly irritated due to his public middle school flashbacks.
“It’s a sign of high intellectual potential. Her emotional age is too advanced for kids her age to understand, they tend to be too insensitive for her. She believes animals and inanimate objects have emotions and that they are intelligent. She talks to her stuffed animal like it’s a pet. She took the pepperonis out of her pizza! Also she has an enormous amount of creativity and she’s highly sensitive to her surroundings. Have you seen how she profiled your every move and suddenly her emotions followed ? Just like you she’s protective of the ones she loves. She only punched that kid because he wasn’t exactly talking highly of you…”
“So you’re saying…”
“Our daughter could be a genius.”
“As mother as daughter.” he complimented with a smirk.
“Oh come on we know who’s the genius here!” you said slapping his shoulder playfully.
You both chuckled. You kept talking for at least half an hour to come up with a plan you both agreed to. It’s not good for a child to watch their parents disagree.
~slight time lapse~
An hour after dinner, you went up to your daughter’s bedroom as it was her bedtime. You leaned on the door frame admiring Spencer, sat next to Jane on her bed, reading a story to her about conflict to teach her what to do in the type of situations she got in. He learned that from you since you were a psychologist. He admired how resourceful and clever you were. He couldn’t be more proud to have you as his significant other and the mother of his child. Your foot made a cracking noise on the hard wood floor which caught Jane attention.
“Mommy! Come!” she exclaimed shaking her little hands.
“What’s up?” you ask sitting next to the bed.
“Me and dad were reading this book you got me and now i understand. I’m sorry for not coming to you first. I just didn’t like what they said about dad.”
“Honey, it doesn’t matter what people think of you. Seeking validation from people can be so unhealthy. If you keep bottling up your emotions you’re going to explode like a bomb and that’s no good.”
“Can you forgive me, mommy ?”
“Of course. You’re still growing, as long as you learn from your mistakes I’m confident you’re going to be alright.” You answered squeezing her hand. Spencer watched in awe, it reminded him how in love with you he is.
“Yes, please don’t ever do that again!” he said a bit too quickly with a high pitched voice that made you all burst in laughter.
“Alright, you should get some sleep.” you told her giving her a kiss on the cheek and tucking her in; “Good night, my love.”
Spencer kissed her temple and set aside the little book he was reading to her wishing her good night as well. You walked out switching the lights off. As you walked down the stairs you asked Spencer to stop in his tracks pointing your finger up; Jane was talking to her stuffed animal. You both had to muffle your laughs. The future looked bright.

Him And I (21+) c. 1
Before yoy read:
WARNINGS: → incest, matter of life and death, multiple smuts, supportive bts, and many more
Summary: Taehyung comes back to Geongchang for a 3 weeks break and to mend the broken relationship with his dear sister. Suddenly this sick, twisted, unknown feeling pops up in his life and he realize... That he's in love with her.
But there's more to it.
Disclaimer: if you don't like this theme of incest, please do not read it. I will not be responsible if you're triggered although in this chapter there's nothing happening between taehyung and the oc. Although, it'd be best if you read the first chapter to understand the story more, just a heads up. All grammar mistakes is mine to blame bc english is not my first language and i am new in tumblr! This is a new experience to me lol. This fic is also cross posted in ao3 btw. Enjoy!
It was on Saturday.

Miu wants to practice her vocals for her performance for the audition but she just feels so lazy and all she wants is to just roll over and sleep. That's exactly what she wants. But it doesn't go as planned.

She ends up eating breakfast at 7 am with her parents and enjoying the morning air. The window is open, and everyone knows how she loves sitting by the window, so no one dares to take that spot from her. She closes her eyes as the breeze hit her face, humming in agreement. Her parents look at her and stifle a laugh. She seems to notice though.

“What?” she asks, raising an eyebrow at their faces who try to stop laughing at her for whatever reason.

She just stays still and looks out the window. How can people laugh at her? It's very confusing. What's so funny about a girl who's sitting on a chair staring out the window? She waits for an answer as she sips her coffee that morning with a hum of approval. Coffee has always been her favourite out of other hot drinks. In a way, it calms her a lot in the morning. An energy booster, too.

Her mother let out a laugh, “Nothing it's just that you stare out the window and your expression when the wind blows on your face is priceless, honey.”

Mrs. Kim said, patting her shoulder and her father's laugh also echoes as he seems to enjoy his wife's statement. What's so funny about that? She asks in her head, puzzled. She continues to stare out and let them laugh at her all they want. She notices the birds flying together in the distant, making her smile. Nature had always influenced her. It's something she can't describe.

There's something about them that calms her, like this coffee. They made her feel all warm inside while she sips her coffee and connects herself with nature. It felt so peaceful and all her troubles would go away for a reason. She remembers when she was a child, she used to run out on an adventure into the woods at the back of their house. They sometimes went camping there (funny, yeah) so she got used to the forest. She knows the trails and all, and she loved listening to nature. The wildflowers, the tall trees. They're all very heart-warming to her.

Her eyes would light up at the mention of camping because she knows her parents would drag her into the forest because that's their camping spot. She would jump in joy if ever they would go out and camp or visit the waterfall or something. She loves them very much and she'd ditch her phone anytime for nature. Maybe that's also one of the reasons why she has little friends in school; that she doesn't socialize much. But it didn't bother her unlike it bothered her parents or her brother. Brother…

Her hands that were on her thighs under the table slowly inch towards her abdomen and wrap around it instantly at the mention of her brother. Why she did it? She doesn't have an answer. It lingers on her stomach for a while, until she snatches them away and put her hands on the table, snapping herself and letting herself resurface into reality. Her parents talked about their jobs. Mrs. Kim is a writer, a not so famous one but good enough in Daegu meanwhile Mr. Kim is an ordinary office worker. They also own a farm at the back of their house, and when things get busy, she's the one handling them. She and her brother but since he's away for work now, so it's only her, not that she's complaining.

Her brother is Kim Taehyung. The Kim Taehyung of BTS. he is 23 years old, and right now, he is on tour in Japan. She looks down into the black coffee, the colour made her uneasy for some reason as she thought about him. 3 weeks he spent his day off with them and 3 days since he returned to his idol job, away from his break at this house. Taehyung. When one would think of him, everyone would say how easy going, thoughtful, and handsome he is. Yes, it's true, but there's more than that. Taehyung is more than that to her.
She could see her mother taking the newspaper on the table. It's today. Mr.Kim had retrieved them earlier when her mother cooked breakfast.

Her mother turns to her. “Look, it's your brother. The tour is a success as usual.” She says, sipping her coffee and letting Miu grab the newspaper, reading it. Or rather, looking at the headline that has pictures of her brother and his bandmates.

She stares at the now blue-haired man on the stage, a little too long that she doesn't realize how bizarre it would look to other people if they see her, staring at her own brother's picture like this. Creepy. She didn't mean to linger her eyes too long on his recent picture, but she can't help it; she misses him very much. The headline is about the Love Yourself tour that's starting again. The excerpt of it is saying about how BTS had become international and over millions of tickets being sold and clean. They're performing in Nagoya tonight. Nagoya...she always dreams to travel to Nagoya.

“You ok there, buddy?” Her father asks, looking at her with warm, kind eyes.

His face reminded her of her brother. Well, Taehyung is his son after all. Why wouldn't she think of him when she looks at her father? She smiles at him and set aside the newspaper and lean on the table.

“Nothing. It's just that...I miss him.” She said, meant every word.

Everyone knows how close they are. How the two Kim siblings were inseparable until Taehyung chased his dream as an idol that his parents approved of. Taehyung is lucky, he has parents who support him no matter what decision he makes and a sister who loves him no matter what he does. It was hard for her when Taehyung walked out because he's the only friend she ever had; no one, except for her best friend Nayeon could make her feel accepted.

Taehyung is her everything. Her brother, her friend, her companion, her…

“No need to be sad, kiddo. He'll come back soon. Besides, three weeks off is kinda long for an idol and I'm sure your time with him before he left for the tour is well spent, right?”

Yeah. It was well spent indeed. She smiled bitterly and nod her head. She looks out the window again, and her eyes scan the small hut that she, Taehyung, and their father built when she was only 7 years old and Taehyung was 11. Her eyes linger on it, remember the day Taehyung gently take care of her, making sure she doesn't get hurt when she's helping while their mother makes them hot chocolate and watch as her family works together in harmony and peace.

It was a peaceful day and it stays attached in her head. How can she forget? It was one of the most precious moments to her. The memory of her and Taehyung. She remembers Taehyung's sweating face as he lifts the woods and helped their father. She remembers how it felt so right to be laughing, to be helping, to be side by side with her brother. True, that she's very close with her brother and she will always be, according to him. Taehyung, even when he lives in Seoul, would always call them every day without fail.

She remembers how Taehyung and herself would hang out at that old hut that they built, lying on the wooden floor and looking at the trees, the breeze pampering their faces. When Taehyung had his weeks off before he left for the tour, he stayed with her there and hang out with her, listening to each other's crackhead culture talks. The way her brother hugged her, the way his head rested on her shoulder lovingly, the I love yous that they delivered to each other…

“Hey, since it's a day off, how about we go somewhere?” Her father says, snapping her out of her daydream.

He's now standing beside her mother, a steaming cup of coffee in his hands as he looks at his wife and his daughter. Her mother seems to be in sync with her husband, so they are waiting for her answer. To be honest, she doesn't mind. Even though she supposed to start her practice for the audition, that usual lazinesslingers in her body. Ever since Taehyung left, her body had been in a lazy state. Why? She gulps, remembering such an event and quickly cast it aside to answer her parents.

“Sure. Where?” She asks lazily, stirring her coffee then sipping them slowly. It's still hot.

Her father thinks for a while, leaning on the counter and think of where their destination would be today. Suddenly, he claps his hands together which resulted in her mother to flinch. Mrs. Kim has always been a scary cat, just like her. They laughed at the woman.

“You scare me!” she screamed, hitting her husband in a playful manner. Perhaps, it has been too hard of a hit because he jumped and let out an “ow.” They all laugh again, and Miu wonders about what would today be like if Taehyung is by their side. By her side. It would've been even more fun. What could he be doing, right now? Miu wonders, her laughter still lingers with them, but it dies as she stares at the black, steaming hot coffee. It's like staring at a hole. A hole in her heart that is.

“As I was saying,” Mr. Kim pause, eyeing his wife in a flirty manner and look at his only daughter with a smile as he continues. “I think it'd be fun to drive off to that favourite waterfall that you love so much. It's only 30 minutes’ drive there.”

He says with a smile as he realizes how much his daughter loves that place and as her eyes lit up with excitement at the mention of the waterfall. Good choice indeed. All her troubles are forgotten at the mention of the waterfall that she loves so much. She stands up, fixing her dress immediately and walk out of the house to their car.

“I'll be waiting in the car. Hurry up!” She ushers them, sprinting to get outside leaving her parents in the kitchen with a smile on their faces.

“Well, let's go.” Mr. Kim said, beaming at Mrs. Kim.

Note
this is late to the last jojo ask, but some said to legit skip Part 3? That's THE introduction to Stands (aka Proto-Personas) and the most popular part by far; that's weird to skip it @3@;; but anyway is there anything specifically ya didn't like about Jojo so far? That might be telling on whether ya do or don't like the later parts too (Also I'm wondering about the, uh, bizarreness since ya didn't like stuff like Makoto's bike Persona and Jojo goes WAY further in weird Stands)
Ah sorry, it’s less that they said “Skip pt 3″ and more “skip pt 1 and 2″ AND that “things pick up in pt 3 and 4 so it’s best to skip to one of those two”. ;w;
I guess I just don’t like the characters so far (like I don’t hate them, besides Dio cause obvie, but they’re just eh)? Like I don’t like Dio, I know that’s like.....the whole point, but it was to the point that I even seeing him fail would make me happy (similar issue I have with Bakugo and why I won’t watch MHA anymore). Well that was the first issue I had, with both starting the manga and watching the first ep. After going back, it’s just kinda average and I’m eh on it. But again that’s just part 1. I’ve only watched one ep of pt 2 and......I don’t remember much. And I don’t think the series is at the super wackiest part yet, so it’s not that it’s too wacky it’s just.....there. So I can’t say it’s the bizarre part that turns me off. DX
As for Makoto’s Persona (and tbh it’s not just her’s but Futaba’s as well), it’s DEF NOT bizarre and not the issue I have with it. The issue I have with her Persona is 1) Reminds me of (and while not a Persona, basically just rips off of) Persona x Detective and that’s something everyone should forget (premise is fine, actual content is not to be fair), and the biggest one 2) Screws with P5′s uhhhh “whole deal”.
Under the cut of what I mean cause it takes a bit to explain (and cause I’m thorough and long winded 8U) but that’s it for Jojo (btw again, all issues I talk about is base P5, no royal stuff till after that game is out in english in case people were worried):
The deal is, 1) Downplays obstacles, 2) it’s not utilized well, 3) brings up questions (ties into 1 tbh)
Ignoring the fact that they shouldn’t have needed Makoto to get into Kane’s dungeon (since he said they ALL owed him, thus meaning the PT are also his “customers”), if Makoto can ride her Persona (and Futaba can ride in her Persona), and everyone else’s personas can float off the ground.....and the MC has a winged Persona (has a few, but his defacto base one is winged).....it makes you wonder WHY THE HELL DIDN’T THEY TRY FLYING TO BEGIN WITH?! I get if for some reason, Futaba/Makoto’s Personas are special and they can touch them but other’s can’t with theres, but that is not a canon explanation, that is a sillyfudgemonkey explanation that I’m pulling out of my butt (because nothing in the game indicates that is the case). Okumura’s Dungeon? Why not just have Futaba abduct us and fly us through the dungeon avoiding enemies (I mean that dungeon has REALLY HIGH ceiling)? Sae’s, there are two points in that dungeon where we could’ve just been air lifted up to get over an obstacle (one that shouldn’t exist that is where we have to leave the dungeon, the other is at the end where S!Sae raises the coins or whatever bs). Hell some of Shido’s goons are found in open areas, if we just airlifted ourselves there the dungeon would’ve gone by a helluva lot faster. It just raises questions on taking an easier way that should be possible. Now if this was any Persona game (minus having Necro for Fuuka, that might break Tartarus’ height thing 8U), this would be less of an issue due to well....not having the same terrain/setting that P5 has (that being said it’d still have the same issue below of not being utilized). BUT if those two weren’t there, then a lot of the puzzles wouldn’t be an issue due to....not having those easy way outs....right in front of us..... XP
There’s also the fact it’s not utilized well....aka......just....not at all. Like there’s pretty much no reason for it, it adds nothing (it might do something in Scramble because she’ll probably be moving around unlike a turnbase game, but wow good job Atlus you justified something like 4 years after it’s release). She can ride it and that’s it. The literally do nothing with it (same with Futaba’s, hell thinking of Futaba, PQ2, or at least the first dungeon, could’ve gone by a lot faster if she just floated above the city....could’ve gotten to the next floor a lot faster XP). It never goes past looking cool, even tho those two could be REALLY USEFUL in certain situation. Hell they could provide a great distraction if we did the distraction play from Dungeon 2, except you know faster and harder to catch (and less strenuous than Ryu’s running). I dunno, just have Makoto and Futaba riding next to the Mona bus a few times (no reason to have Makoto drive when she has her own ride and the MC has proven he can drive anyway, hell if the team can run down Futaba’s Palace then Makoto can summon her Persona and help drive down it and not have to only rely on Mona’s transformation XP). And yeah this is an issue any Persona game could run into, if you don’t utilize it all you can think is “Why? Just....why?” (even PxD utilized Sousei tbh XP Heck, P4G, tho improbably/impractical, utilized it’s mopeds more both in and out of battle, and same with Mitsuru’s motorcycle tho when it became useless they got rid of it).
Tldr; They raise too many questions, and there’s really no reason they exist outside of looking cool even tho they could be really useful.
