"Goodness."

Felwinter glanced at Timur, who had spoken. The warlock stood next to him, eyes wide but expression guarded as he surveyed the damage. A particularly strong blizzard had ripped through the village at the base of Felwinter Peak. The people who lived there were safe, still sheltered up at Vostok, but the wind and ice had taken their toll on the structures.

He didn't move from their vantage, taking in as much of the damage as he could see, trying to catalogue it all so he could determine the most efficient way to start repairs. It would take a while, he thought. It was a small town, but the people were independent and wary, not liking to rely on shared supplies from other settlements for the risk of incurring some debt to a warlord. As a result, most of the buildings were either built from or had been repaired and reinforced with resources from the surrounding forest. Good for self-sufficiency, not as durable as the remnant buildings from the Golden Age that most warlords salvaged from or what the new city under the Traveler was being built with.

"Are you all right?" Timur asked.

Felwinter looked at him again. "Of course," he said.

"I know this place is somewhat important to you, is all," he clarified.

"The people are the important thing, and they're safe," Felwinter replied. "Homes can be rebuilt. I was merely trying to figure out where to start. And the logistics of keeping them all in Vostok for an extended period of time."

"Oh, it won't take that long, I imagine," Timur said. "Maybe, if you were still working alone, but you're an Iron Lord now." He gestured to the other side of the village as they started to filter in from the path up the mountain. Mostly Iron Lords, led by Silimar, accompanied by several of the townsfolk.

"Welcome to the many benefits of having friends," Timur said, smiling. He patted Felwinter on the shoulder as he brushed past him, hurrying down the slope to meet Silimar.

Felwinter hesitated a moment before following him, watching how the people interacted with the Iron Lords. That suspicion they held for lightbearers seemed gone, replaced by laughter as they set to work cleaning up the mess.

Friends, he thought, slowly following Timur down the hill. He still wasn't sure about that, but he was beginning to be sure he had made the right choice.

Penguins' TV broadcasts 2024-25

The Penguins will take part in 17 nationally broadcasted games, beginning Oct. 9 as they kick off the 2024-25 campaign with an 7:30 p.m. home tilt against the New York Rangers on TNT.

Pittsburgh's nationally televised games include two games on ESPN, four games on ABC, two games exclusively on ESPN+ and nine games on TNT. Four of the nine TNT broadcasts also will be shown locally on SportsNet Pittsburgh.

Of the Pens' 82 regular-season games, 69 will be shown on SportsNet Pittsburgh. Josh Getzoff will return as the play-by-play broadcaster, with a rotating color commentary group of Colby Armstrong, Mike Rupp and Phil Bourque. Hailey Hunter will handle rinkside reporting duties and SportsNet Pittsburgh will have one hour of pre- and postgame coverage for all games it televises.

Hughes was certainly the center of attention for much of the weekend, even when he wasn’t playing. He sat in the stands at Harborcenter with the other New Jersey scratches Saturday when the Devils were playing the Penguins. Two young girls came over to get photos with him while the game was going on. Then a couple of guys wandered over for autographs. At that point, vice president of communications Pete Albietz moved over to sit in front of Hughes and discourage further interactions. When Hughes went over to the makeshift Devils’ radio booth for a first intermission interview with Matt Loughlin, a large crowd formed on the concourse around them and followed him as he walked back to his teammates, signing autographs along the way. Eventually, a member of the Harborcenter security personnel escorted Hughes to the team’s locker room. There were dozens of former NHL players in the facility working as scouts for other teams, including multiple Hall of Fame members. None of them were drawing attention like Hughes was this weekend.

"We knew each other close to a month" tells Travis when asked if they knew each other prior to Taylor's first appearance at a game on Sept. 24, 2023.

When asked about his relationship with Taylor,

"Hopefully everybody realizes that we're just two people in a relationship, supporting each other and having fun with it, man, it's nothing more than that," Kelce said of Swift's support. "[No matter] how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it. And we enjoy every single bit of it."

"I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the family and friends. It's been nothing but a wonderful year, man," he added.

Travis also confirmed that he is unable to attend the Grammys with Taylor

"I wish I could go support Taylor at the GRAMMYs and watch her win every single award that she's nominated for but... unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big old Super Bowl and we got a week," he shared.

GREATEST MOMENT TO DATE: OCtober 7, 2007–Following a debilitating jaw injury Phoenix reaches the pinnacle of her profession by becoming WWE’s Women's champion. She was impressive in the victory over Candice Michelle at No Mercy and quickly became one of the most dominant figures in all WWE.

SHE DOES IT SO WELL: Phoenix legitimately strikes fear into the hearts of her opponents the second she appears at the top of the ramp. Hhr power game is unmatched by any of her peers and her wrestling acumen is equally as sharp. Still, the most formidable of Phoenix’s attributes could be her determination to remain on top. 

WHERE SHE NEEDS TO IMPROVE: Her setbacks in WWE-aside from injuries-have been few and relatively easy to bounce back from. Still, as her career progresses, Phoenix will need to realize that her strength-based approach to matches will leave her body prone to injury which, over time, will lead to longer recovery periods. She has begun mixing wear-down and submission holds into her repertoire, which should serve her well in the future.

BIGGEST TEST TO DATE: In July of 2008, Phoenix became the unlikely opponent in an open challenge issued by Santino Marella on Raw. Despite winning the bout, it was the coming weeks and months that proved to be the biggest test for Phoenix in WWE, Gradually, she began an uncomfortable relationship with Marella and the two began appearing as a couple. IT was the first, and only, time to date in which Phoenix showed emotions other than anger and confidence. 

OUTLOOK FOR 2009: Much like any dominant champion, the only person who appears able to derail Phoenix's momentum in 2009 would be the woman herself. Depending on how far she allows the fans-and Santino-in to her psyche, Phoenix should dominate the Raw women’s division for the foreseeable future. If, however, she loses focus on what she does best-destroying opponents-she could potentially struggle.
