2021.01.11. so they extended lockdown here until february, and although I would love to see my friends and classmates, I appreciate that I get to have some more lazy mornings. also, second breakfasts should totally be a thing!

my to-do for today:

go and collect my geography test from school

start my bio notes

make progress with my literature ppt

figure out when I'm gonna go and see an eye specialist

Long time, no post! Not sure when my last original post was, but a lot has happened since then. I graduated, got married, got a job, and then lost the job due to covid. Today was the first day at my new job where I am part of a team studying forest management strategies and their effect on the diversity of birds. I think it’s going to be an amazing 4 months!

Here’s some photos of this week’s spread and some warblers we caught at the banding station where I volunteer. The first warbler is a male blue-winged warbler and the second is a male Canada warbler.

I meditated for ten minutes and I washed my face! it was nice :)

today I finally started a new bullet journal! I won't be putting much in it in august but I'm still really excited about it :) rn I have set up this front page and my trackers. I prefer to have all my habit trackers in one place for the entire time I have the journal so I put august-december on the pages and I will just add the other months when I get there!

also I practiced for 1 hr 24 min :)

2021.01.15. the last couple of days have been pleasantly white here, let that be because of frost or snow, and I'm finally feeling like it's winter!

I also have way too much stuff to do, presentations, studying, gift-making for my dad's birthday. getting motivation to do all of that is also a challenge, most definitely 😂

it's also the end of semester next week, but fortunately my teachers haven't gone crazy over fix-it-tests to lift people's grades last minute, which is a first in many years. I suppose that's a good side of online learning!

2021.01.06. i haven’t worked out in ages and i’ll be so sore tomorrow, but it was worth it! i feel so good! getting sweaty improved my morning a suprising amount.

I’m also cathcing up on my schoolwork! since today i have only four classes, i’m determined to get stuff done. so lots of tea and funky music it is!

day 2: what did you do that made you feel proud today?

I listened to my body! a lot of the time it feels like listening to your body is the wrong thing to do, but it is really the best way to go about things! I also did some cleaning bc I've been obsessed with Marie Kondo lately agdjfdkfl

I practiced for 35 min (a little bit of a rest day)
