So! Every series on my channel has its own playlist:

There are also playlists that group all the one-shots (they get moved out if they get a sequel)

About 60% of audios on my channel all take place within the same universe, which I call Mitch's World. Most series are generally pretty contained, especially the earlier stuff, but later audios, particularly those relating to the Facility, start to show more cross-over between them.

If an audio takes place within Mitch's World, you'll see a little MW emblem in the top left:

There are also a few series which do not take place in Mitch's World. These audios are (pretty much) all completely self-contained, denoted by the S-C emblem:

The one exception is the Respawn series - it's a self-contained series but it gets treated to its own special design:

Each series also has its own page on the lore wiki - every series page has a complete list of audios in chronological order, and there's also a full audio list page which can be sorted according to series or continuity!

In response to this post, I've now added a playlist that collects every single audio in Mitch's World together! It's mostly in order of release, so individual series are separated from each other (and some like Kitsune and Moth are set in the past), but it's a fair way to see all the audios that are in the same world together in one place roughly in the order they were posted!

Still it's fine to just pick a series you might like and start there!

When the fictional audio rp has an INSANELY detailed universe and you're too scared to start listening in case it doesn't make sense and you don't want to be taking part in such BAFOONERY 🙏🏻

I have several questions about our vampire hunting duo- insignificant questions really, merely curious-

What does David like to wear on a day-to-day basis?

Is there anything unique that happened to Bats's eyes after they were turned? (i.e. they turn red in some cases, some kind of reflective property, etc.)

How would David react to Bats giving him something? What would he like?

What kind of anime/manga do you think Bats would like?

Don't have to answer all of them if it's too much, hope you're doing well ^w^

Hey there!

David sort of socially masks for the most part of the day, he doesn't really get around to dressing casually. Most of the time he just wears business casual, long-sleeve office shirts from work.

Vampire eyes do change shade slightly, and it's more noticeable when powered-up on blood, but there isn't a drastic change - you couldn't' for instance tell that someone is a vampire from their red eyes, for instance. As they get older, the eye colour may drift though.

David has difficulty with sincerity and has barriers of separation in his mind around it, but I think at this point he and bats understand each other enough that, even though he'd understand that bats would understand even if he didn't respond with sincerity, he's able to be a little more open about it. He'd probably say they didn't have to though! But I think he knows he can't win against Bats in an argument

This one's up to the listener! Bats is canonically coded as somewhat an otaku, but beyond that I think the specifics are open to headcanon! ^ ^

Most VAs don't interact with their fandom on tumblr and stick to their channel/Twitter/Discord servers, so I really appreciate the ones that participate here. Yuurivoice, Saku, Escaped, GBA, Scythe, Mage Bunkshelf, Capital M, Atonal, and Castle Audios are some of the only VAs I know of that actually take the time to come here, share/compliment fan art, answer questions, etc.

I know this is slightly controversial since some people like to participate in fandom out of sight of creators, but I think it's really special and it makes the community feel more alive.

Sorry if there are other VAs who are active on here that I forgot, but I really appreciate what you do. Please keep participating in the community. I know Tumblr can be hell sometimes (just look at this blog) but it means a lot to me and many others.

As a non-artist, art is precious to me, someone took a silly idea I had and breathed actual life into it. That's special, and I never want to forget that or take it for granted.

I appreciate all fanart that people make! I always want to see it, I don't care if it's a little doodle you made on the corner of a napkin, I want to see it! Even if you don't think you're an amazing artist I want to see it! Even if I'm too bust to comment I want to at least leave a like to let you know I've seen it.

It makes my day whenever I see fan art, really. I love that every person has their own interpretation of the story and getting a glimpse into each personal envisioning of the characters and scenes feels like magic. I love love love knowing that I was able to bring someone else's imagination to life with my own imagination, and seeing them return something with a spark of their own makes all the hard work worth it to me.

It's still amazing to me that the stories I make that start out as little day dreams can find their way to a stranger and mean something to them. It doesn't get old. I'm never quitting as long as I know there are people around that keep my stories with them.

Okay I've readjusted my rankings:

Mitch would be easy, he'd be very attentively looking after you the whole time. You want water? You want soup? You want cushions? You want blankets? You want me to leave you alone for fi- Alright then, I'll leave you alone for five minutes! (Returns in four)

Aru probably wouldn't want leave your side but would be a lot more tactful about space

David would be checking in regularly. I think he'd be frustrated with himself that there's basically nothing he could do.

Nem would offer easy food and light company. They wouldn't be too worried, they know what they're doing - you'll feel better pretty soon.

Ji'ya would be in internal panic, alternating between franticly consulting their ship computer and fretting over Starshine like you would a lost chick.

Basically I'd suggest maybe picking a series that sounds like it might be your thing and starting from there? Each series (if there are more than one audio) has its own playlist on the channel - one-shots also have their own playlist too, most series started as one-shots and are moved out if they get a vol. 2. You can also find a full list on the wiki here, the series pages also have each relevant audio listed in watch order: (Heads up that other places like character pages will contain spoilers if you haven't listened first!)

Occasionally series in the same continuity cross-reference each other as they go on. As Nyx says you can tell by the continuity emblems: (MW) for "Mitch's World" which is my main story universe, and (S-C) for self-contained stories. Respawn is also self-contained, that one's treated separately 💚

There isn't really a "start here" point other than picking a story you think you might enjoy! - I think The Facility is the only series I wouldn't recommend starting with. And if a story starts referencing other characters or events you don't recognise, check out the wiki in case there's a related series! Just excuse my dust if you're on mobile! Miraheze updated the layout recently and I need to fix it x.x

The idea for Mitch's World is you can treat it like you're piecing together fragments from another world, I suppose. Each series is its own story for the most part, you don't need to have listened to everything else first... but there's more going on in the background, more to dig into if that sort of thing interests you~ Pick a playlist to start, and from there you always have the wiki to guide you on!
