something that interests me about the stp fandom is the different interpretations of the hunted. is he some feral dude? or a literal animal? very much depends on who you ask
it also makes hunted shipping a tricky thing for me, bc i’m a furry who thinks way too much about the ethics of hunted kissing.
bc iirc in the game he’s like the other voices in that he’s just as sentient as they are, completely aware of his situations, it’s purely based on the player to interpret him as feral dude or literal animal. me, i always lean towards literal animal. which, again, makes hunted shipping VERY tricky.
i think spousemouse is adorable! but then i’m also like. that’s a bird man kissing a bird cat deer thing. but that bird cat deer also has human level sapience and passes the harkness test. but it’s also a feral animal to me. SO HMMM
these are all my own opinions of course! if you imagine hunted as a feral dude, have at it! if you ship him with other voices or princesses then go wild! i think it’s just a me thing and i think too hard about it. but i’d love to know your thoughts!!!

how do you make friends on social media… like I feel like it’d be so cool to chat with someone who also shares the same fixation as I do and we could just talk like regular online friends

Not an art req, it's actually DINOSAUR FACT TIME!! The rules are simple, I'll tell you a dinosaur fact, and you tell me a dinosaur fact in return!!
(I will take anything in response, you could literally tell me "Triceratops had 3 horns" and I'd be happy, I just wanna yap about dinosaurs)
My dinosaur fact to offer is: Tyranosaurs are actually highly believed to be pack hunters!! There's a decent amount of evidence to support this, a key piece being the group of fossils found in Utah.
Have a nice day!! :]
OMG I LOVE DINOSAURS!!!! PLEASE CONTINUE TO SEND ME DINOSAUR FACTS!!!!
i actually used to work on a spec bio project about dinosaurs reaching sapient levels of intelligence, but i had such a hard time getting out of.... i guess imposter syndrome? that i didn't get much further.... HOWEVER
one thing i learned from my research on my main specimen of choice (Imperobator) is that we actually have almost NO fossils of said dinosaur, really only having fragments of its foot/leg, and yet we have an entire reconstruction of it, most notably in prehistoric planet! it's really fascinating to me, and i hope we get more remnants of it so that we can see just how close or far off our interpretations are!

I don't like appearing in one person's askbox all the time, but did you know it's WORLD DINOSAUR DAY? As such, it's DINOSAUR FACT TIME!! Not even gonna bother with rules anymore!
The dinosaur fact for today is: The Concavenator (meaning "Cuenca hunter"), is a genus of carnivorous carcharodontosaurian from the early Cretaceous, discovered in 2010 by paleontogists Fernando Escaso, José Luis Sanz, and Francisco Ortega in the Las Hoyas fossil site in Spain. With only a single species to go off of, Concavenator grew up 6 meters (20 ft) in length and 400 kg (880 lbs) in weight. The main feature that distinguished it from other carcharodontosaurians is the way its neural spines of last dorsal vertebrae created a sail. Not much is known about this genus and we haven't found many fossils, which makes gathering information on it difficult!
I hope you enjoyed dinosaur fact time today! :]
I FEEL SO BAD FOR BEING SO LATE BUT I'M HERE NOW ;__;
i wish i had a dino fact to give back,, erm,,, the t-rex had a very sensitive bundle of nerves in their noses..... which is interesting to me bc apparently shark have the same thing so i wonder why evolution just keeps bundling up the nerves in the shnozz.......

Would you do any agere/caregiver slay the princess stuff?
YES. although i DO want to clarify something since i notice people are starting to see me as the “suggestive stp artist” which i don’t mind!
even though i very much enjoy drawing and posting suggestive art, this blog is STRICTLY SFW. if you want to see non sfw (trying to jump around the term bc tumblr LMAO) art of stp, it’s only on my bsky @scorchedpaws.bsky.social !!!
i can understand if the agere community might not want me to post agere art to an account that is associated with suggestive art. while i also partake in agere, i don’t want to speak on the behalf of the whole community! feel free to offer your opinions on the matter 💖
so TLDR: YES i will take (STRICTLY) sfw agere stp reqs! but if the agere community wants to step forward and request that i don’t due to my reputation as a suggestive artist, then i’ll respect that!

I did a bunch of research today so it's DINOSAUR FACT TIME!! You know the rules by now (you don't have to give a fact if you don't want, I don't mind lol)
The fact I offer you is: Troodon (meaning "wounding tooth"), was one of the earliest North American dinosaur discoveries, found in 1856 by Paleontologist Joseph Leidy in Montana. This small bird-like omnivore is a heavily debated topic and was suggested to be turned into a neotype, I dunno if links work in asks if not then I'll comment the definition but defined here, with it's reclassified specimens being dubbed junior synonyms. The amount of debate, de-validation, and reclassification makes Troodon one of the most debated genera of dinosaur!!
I hope you've enjoyed today's dinosaur fact time! :]
TROODON!!!!!!! I KNOW TROODON I LOVE TROODON!!!!!!
in fact, here's a tiny sorta dino fact! a lot of people like using the troodon in specbio projects in which dinosaurs develop human-like intelligence due to the troodon's (theorized) body-to-brain mass (weight? some sort of size unit!) ratio being the highest of any other dinosaur! <3

I couldn't help myself, time for another installment of DINOSAUR FACT TIME!! Rules are the same as before!
The dinosaur fact this time is: The T-rex had binocular vision like humans. However it's believed that their vision was better than humans by up to 13x. Alongside this, they had a better field of sight than hawks, having a 55 degree area where hawks only have 30-50 degrees depending on the species. And to add on to their already incredible sight, it's estimated that they could easily distinguish objects and animals from around 6 kilometers or 3.7 miles away. All of this was figured out by Professor Kent Stevens, a researcher at the University of Oregon!!
Dinosaur fact time will probably become regular, although I'll try to keep from doing it every day so I don't fill up your inbox! :]
THAT'S ACTUALLY SICK HONESTLY terrifying even... /pos
hmmmm what's a fun fact i know... erm... trying to think of a fact that isn't already super well known....
my friend is giving me this one rn but apparently the shape of a spinosaurus is heavily contended upon in the paleo community, due to how its sail and tail connect! there's discussions about if it converges on a body plan similar to that of a duck or that of a crocodile!
according to my friend. i. have no clue. i wish i had one to give rn but my brain is scrungled </3

hey btw, for the people following my non sfw/adult only bsky:
YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR AGE IN BIO OTHERWISE YOU ARE BLOCKED.
i’ve had a good few new followers there since i started posting my cropped versions here but there’s a non-negligible amount who don’t have ages listed in bio. i’m being lenient but come this evening, i will be blocking IMMEDIATELY if you do not have your age in your bio or if i don’t know you personally. regardless of if you are an adult, if you don’t have your age in bio then you’re blocked.
that’s all!!! thank you!!!!
(tagging with stp to reach my usual audience)

Another polyamorous person here!
For me, I did retrospectively notice that I always had a bit of a fascination with depictions of non-monogamy where it was at least somewhat implied that the people in it were okay or at least not averse to it? And in my first relationship I noticed pretty early on that I would not mind if my partner had relations with others as long as it wouldn't heavily change our dynamic. I also felt a lot of discomfort because I had feelings and attraction for people outside my partnership that would be considered out of scope for a monogamous relationship. By the next partner I had somewhat communicated that, and at some point I even found the name for it, but it would take years until my partner came around (also had some soul-searching to do, came out as asexual and trans and is now very cool with being polyamorous, though not necessarily interested in actively dating).
That being said, there is a lot of disagreement within the polyamorous community about whether it is an orientation or an elective relationship structure. Personally, and I feel that is in line with my experience, think it's somewhere inbetween and not strictly one or the other. Depends on the person, too (my partner is cool with the idea of potentially having multiple partners, but has no active desire to seek it out, for example). With the way society is set up, it's impossible to tell whether people are monogamous out of some sort of inherent personal nature or whether it is nurture. And due to that I don't personally feel like it's my place to prescribe the nature of their experience with polyamory to anyone. Which also brings me to the label - labels should be descriptive, not prescriptive. So if polyamorous seems like something that describes your wants/needs/attitudes well, then feel free to use it to communicate that to others. Ultimately all labels we use are just shorthands for the general directions we take in our cognitive and material experience. We can find community and kinship through them, we signal safety for others who may not be comfortable being out.
Ultimately, labels are a much more practical than ideological concern to me. I have two wonderful longterm partners and I (passively or actively) wanted constellations similar to this ever since I was a teenager and was able to really untangle the social order I live under. That doesn't make me any more or less polyamorous than someone who hasn't really thought about the possibility until adulthood and found themselves in a polycule incidentally and realized it's comfortable for them (but wouldn't even seek it out otherwise).
I think what I'm trying to say here is: it's really not that deep. If multiple partners are something you'd find nice for yourself, absolutely take the label. It may turn off people who are explicitly looking for monogamous connections with you (or weirdly opinionated about it), but then again, is that what you're looking for?
And it's also always okay to come to the conclusion that something isn't for you. We all develop and change throughout life.
So, good luck, have fun! And may a pleasant day be upon you!
this is so kind oh my gosh ;__; this insight and advice are gonna stay near to my heart... thank you so so much, this is a huge comfort and very helpful !!! ;;;
