I can't even put into words how disappointing and frustrating the vision of Amazon's Middle-earth show is.
This is your vision for Celebrimbor, seriously?
This is the grandson of the Elf who "was made the mightiest in all parts of body and mind, in valour, in endurance, in beauty, in understanding, in skill, in strength and in subtlety alike"?
This is one of the Quendi, "a race high and beautiful, the older Children of the world, and among them the Eldar were as kings, who now are gone: the People of the Great Journey, the People of the Stars"?
This is not to slight Charles Edwards. He's a friendly looking guy and I'm sure he's a decent actor, but in my subjective opinion simply the wrong choice for Celebrimbor.

me after reanimating the corpse of tolkien: so later on in the show, galadriel’s new bestie, halbrand, is revealed to be sauron, which kind of erases celebrimbor as a character and his contribution to the main conflict
tolkien: that’s what you’re worried about when two of the beatles are still living? go finish the job

Celebrimbor was tortured and killed by Sauron for not telling where the Elven Rings were hidden. That stopped Sauron from binding all of them and ultimately led to his defeat.
