I’m going to assume no one here needs anything explicit to happen between them to ship them. If that’s the only way you consume ships, then that’s on you.

But by ‘certain’ logic, then shipping Noa, Soona and Anaya means you like to watch animals getting it on irl. Is this true? I doubt it.

Thankfully, I’m capable understanding that shipping the fictional characters we were given is easy because of their human-like qualities and relatable dynamics. The CGI helps to suspend our disbelief a ton too, and of course, the great chemistry the actors delivered IRL. They did a fantastic job!

Because let’s be honest, if these characters behaved or resembled irl apes 100%, NO ONE WOULD GIVE A FLYING FUCK ABOUT THEM and these movies would not be what they are.

They’re shippable because of their dynamic, because of the themes and narrative devices they are using, because of the idea of two opposing worlds coming together through the kindredness of two unlikely heros, because of their relatability in the face of fear, prejudice and the unknown, because of the Shakespearean tragedy of it all-

Why do I have to be so attached to Peach Blossom? We don’t know him

At this rate I’m gonna be inconsolable if he turns out to not be a man, he is concretely one in my mind

I also would dislike him not being like how I envision him, but I can accept that; I know I don’t know this man. But if he’s a lady, it’s gonna take me several days to accept that, the leaks better have been right

Anyways, so for a while I’ve been trying to draw him. But it’s difficult when the only references I have of him are his shot in the teaser and his appearance on the title screen

Neither of them show much of his body and both have lighting that makes me unsure what his actual color scheme is. Well no, I know what it is, but I like to color pick from the sprites now, and so not having his flat colors is a hindrance to me

Oh and also, personal thing but these two pictures are somewhat far from each other in my photos, but I’m not deleting the photos in between yet, so when I have to switch between the two I have to scroll through a bunch of other photos to find them and it’s just so annoying

Eventually I decided to make a human version since that only requires his head, which you can see, and then I got some form of idea as to how I can draw him in Cookie form, so I did that as well. Wasn’t sure what else to do though

His hair was also very frustrating to draw, probably because it’s at angles

He’d be so much easier if I had a proper ref, but I digress

I really don’t know why I’m so attached to Peach Blossom. We don’t know him at all and I get annoyed at people when they make up stuff for characters we’ve barely met, so I guess I’m a massive hypocrite

But I don’t know, it’s probably because of how much I’m anticipating the next half of the update, and because of that I’m latching on to the one new character we know nothing about, in part because we know nothing about him yet. If that makes sense

I don’t know, but I’ve grown super attached to the idea of him. It’ll probably subside once we actually get him though

some folks are discussing fandom infighting, but I haven’t still seen any examples of wolfwren stans sending hate. I scrolled through every comment on the Ahsoka casts’ posts (yes all of them) and the only hate I saw was homophobia aimed at wolfwren.

does anyone have examples & links to wolfwren fans being toxic? so we as a community can block them + make sure they understand they aren’t welcome in the fandom? I have dozens of tangible examples of the vile hate people have sent to wolfwren stans (x x x) and a long list of transphobes/homophobes if anyone wants a block list.

Am I the only one who thinks Donnie would actually WANT to attach to the technodrome again?

My dad convinced me of this after our watch of the movie together, my resident Donatello and technology expert, so here goes.

Obviously, I don’t think Donnie enjoyed being RIPPED from the technodrome, and the connection process isn’t the cleanest thing, but those are the only two downsides really.

Think of what you gain. Complete control of a massive spaceship with all its crazy technology. Control at a thought, not the press of a button or flip of the wrist, a thought. All you have to do is think something and the ship will MAKE IT HAPPEN!! Do you have any idea how impressive that technology is? How incredible that feeling would be? This is the PINNACLE of technology, a once in a lifetime experience that Donnie may spend his entire life trying to recreate. I’m sure Donnie would love to do it again.

It’s like- everything he’s ever wanted.

Ripping him out might’ve been the only way to get him out.

i honestly thought they were together or something for awhile in s1 bc of the having drinks in renslayers office, the favourite analyst comment, etc. so i do kinda like as them a ship but i don’t really ship it

i do love a good workplace rivalry/colleagues/office partners ship tho and the power dynamic between them is gorgeous. and the fact that their ex partners and ravonna got promoted could make for some great tension between them in fics

I kinda wish marvel would’ve done a love triangle between mobius, ravonna and victor timely/kang/hwr (idk what to call him) instead of the weird thing with miss minutes. like mobius and kang (i’m just gonna call him that) are obviously very different people and would offer her different things in a relationship so it could come down to does ravonna choose kang bc it gives her power over mobius
