Well I just made myself sad watching a short Jim Henson documentary, time for bed I guess.

#I really wish I’d had the resources to pursue a creative career in puppeteering or practical special effects #I was so enamored by everything jim henson did. esp. the jim henson hour/the storyteller #I wanted so badly to build puppets and robotics and be seen but not seen when performing etc #I was a theater kid but if I could have been a behind-the-scenes performer kid I would have been thrilled #but that wasn’t in the cards for me so now I just work a job and write fanfiction when I have the energy. yay.#anyway that’s your lo lore™️ dump for tonight ig #lo.txt

existing with a phobia is hell on earth and i am truly sorry to anyone who has to live with one :/

#i hate all spiders #but there’s a specific one that’s just Worse for me #and i have found three in my room within the past ~two weeks #(plus even more in my whole house)#i feel so on edge tonight :(#i cried earlier because i feel so uncomfortable in my own space.#it’s such a terrible feeling. and it’s even worse when my family downplays it #i have been told ‘it’s just a spider’ more times than i can count #like. do you think i don’t wish i could see it like that??#i don’t want to feel this way. obviously #if i was even just scared of them the way most people are. that would also be fine #but nope! i get a debilitating fear. one that’s making it hard for me to sleep rn #yay! so fun! would definitely choose this for myself again if I could 🫠

#so i have a boyfriend now #yay!!!#but! a problem #so i have pain that seems to be endo (not confirmed because i didn't go for the ultrasound but suspected)#and i was talking to said boyfriend about it tonight and how fucking bad it hurts w pain meds #and tmi sorry but my fucking vagina specifically fucking hurts and that whole region #to the point i cannot sit regularly without pain on my period #and he was like oh hey does that mean sex is going to be painful for you?#and uh. no fucking clue but probably #at least on my period but i wouldn't be into it then anyway #and idk we kept talking about endo and he thinks i should go for the ultrasound #but like. i have a lot of sh scars on my thighs and something like that could seriously hurt my chances as a nurse #and i do not think i could go through college again i have this year and then i'm done other than my bsn #and maybe masters degree but i need to have a degree i can get a job w #and i have a fucking cardiologist appointment coming up too #because my goddamn hypotension

i'm yet again feeling lowkey bad abt how little attention i pay to ppl who don't interest me bc tonight some girl enthusiasticly greeted me & started chatting and i was just nodding along and wondering who the hell she was 😶 clearly she knew me but i couldn't remember her :/

#this is not the first time this has happened...... ppl remember me from somewhere and im just like❓#apparently ppl will remember u if u have a distinctive makeup style. (well my past two looks at events have been v costumey but still)#bc like there were a couple of ppl who were like 'oh youre so good at makeup!! your daily makeup is always so nice too' 🥺 aww #one girl even asked me if i could teach her how to do her makeup LMAO. i rlly wanted to continue that convo but it got interrupted :<#anyways tonight was rlly nice. even tho the party ended rlly early imo. and most ppl left super early too wtf!!#there was couple of ppl i would have wanted to talk w/ more and get to know but whatever #i did have a v nice & long conversation w/ one exchange student :-) yay look at me being social and forming connections #anyways rlly chill vibes tonight & comfortable environment. it's not often that i can slide into convos w/ strangers and not feel nervous #my posts
