i want to talk about my job on tumblr but i dont want to run the risk of breaking our social media policy (yes, i, a cashier at a grocery store, have to follow a social media policy) so i might just take a leaf out of murderbot's book and just call it The Company

Have you ever wanted to read fight club. Did you know a lot of the copies floating around on the internet are kind of fucked up. Did you know I just spent two days fixing it. Did you know you can make a copy of this file and have it for yourself. And share it with others. You should read fight club

i'll be a bit more concise with my criticism from the latter half of my last big post. you dont make callout posts and harass your fellow transes for one simple reason: what if it breaks containment? you might very well be "well intentioned" with the goal of your callout post. you might be thinking "im protecting the trans community against a trans woman who is mean, a bigot, or even a real danger, my mission is pure :)"
what if someone like lìbs of fucking tìktøk picks up on that 150 page google doc?
get some fucking perspective.
if you truly think someone is an actual danger, block them, blacklist them. dont interact with them. Do Not bring the greater internets attention to a random fucking trans woman. we dont exist in a fucking bubble. there are avenues for dealing with people who have done actual harm and callout posts aint it. (and to be clear, the trans women involved in this particular round (and lets be real 99.99999999% of the time) are just being harassed, they did nothing but be trans women on the internet)
there are people who actually want to do us real harm for the heinous crime of being queer. people like the aforementioned twitter account go after posts with as little as 3 fucking likes. queer people and our allies are doxxed and forced to leave thier homes for at most posting cringe and normally just being a fucking queer person. trans women atm are under the most threat from the right becuase the fascists are trying to divide and conquer, and the "perverted men are infiltrating womens spaces" line is selling really fucking well. dont give them fucking ammo.
protect trans women and get some goddamn perspective.

It's really funny to me when people start referring to artists or shows or whatever as Definitive Queer Cultural Items and I have no desire whatsoever to engage with it. Not gonna watch/read Dun\geon Meshi not particularly interested in listening to that new artist with the red hair never watched OF\MD beyond like three episodes with my family one time. Have fun though

I love watching Tears of the Kingdom memories out of order /sarc /lh
It took my around 100 hours to even find out the tears were a thing and wondering wtf my mom was talking about when I kept asking for help on what to do but that aside, I had seen #1 and #2 in order, tried to find Tabatha stable for a good 2 hours and then decided to go take a break and got hit with #8, WHICH WAS LIKE GETTING HIT BY A TRAIN
#1: :0 time travel wow oh wait your my old grandparents
#2: "let's go to the castle dear and get some clean clothes"
#8: SHE'S DEAD AND GANON IS IN POWER AND YOUR FUCKING WIFE IS DEAD AND ITS YOUR FAULT RAARU
Also there's 18 memories?? Damn how the fuck is it gonna sucker punch me more than that fucking 180 in story but aside from that i. I really wish it gave you a little way to back out, like it tells you the memory of what your about to watch and if you wanna do it later, I wanted to watch them in order TT AND I STILL HAVENT FOUND TABANTHA STABLE

there's a really sick speakeasy / sushi bar in my city i want to go to, but it's not really something you can plan for you can only book you're going to go the day of if they have space, so i can only really ask people who are immediately in the area who could be available on a whim, and there are very few people i can ask because my best friend is a vegan and my other best friend is extremely sober and i can't imagine either of them being comfortable, and everyone else is like idk if they're into the anime shit that place shows and auaughghhh

thinking about how I've never seen anyone mention the dog tags in mash but to me they're the most morbid symbol of everything wrong with their situation.
you have to wear these tags because there's a very good chance you will die, and that all the people who'd recognise you will die next to you.
you have to wear these tags because we won't recognise you by your name, we won't recognise you by your face - or what's left of your face - we'll only recognise your number.
you have to wear these tags because if the fighting reaches you we know these will survive if you don't.
you have to wear these tags on this collar on this leash so we can tug it and remind you we own you.
you need to wear these tags because you are an expendable number that we know is less likely to survive than this metal dangling round your neck.

do they know the reason we put slashes at the end of our tag warnings was so that you couldn't search for all mentions of it. do they know that there's no way to standardize those so people had to add like 6 variations of the same tag to their blocklist. do people know that you can just tag it as "abuse" without qualifying it as a trigger warning as well, because tagging systems are about categorizing content and content that mentions abuse should be tagged as abuse, etc with flashing lights, transmisogyny, racism, etc etc
