people overestimate their value in my life
#need to go to bed but I've been pondering today#i am ending a friendship#we've known each other for several years and became good friends last year#but he's suddenly started treating me badly and idk why. there's no cause#we were buddies and now he's acting up#and I've had some issues with him for awhile and have considered ending our friendship before#but ik I'll miss him and all the good memories we have together#but I'm also not gonna beg him to be nicer to me when he never had any reason not to be#and he thinks that he can do whatever he wants and I'll always be there for him. but that's not true anymore#i don't need him. I've only ever valued our nice conversations but I'm not getting that anymore#i mean more to him than he means to me. I've been a better friend to him#so realistically. this will hurt him more#but he chose to do certain things and that's not my problem#I'm not gonna allow anyone to treat me like that#i have in the past out of desperation to hold on to a friendship. but i don't need friendships#I'm a busy person. i don't have time for a lot of friends so I'm gonna save that time for good ones only#and he's gonna be sooooo sad and depressed bc yk who he always comes to when something bad happens?#or when he's feeling bad? or when he needs comfort? anything like that? ME :D#soooooo now his dear old friend is done with him forever do he's gonna be so sad. who's he gonna go to for support???#idk. not my problem 🤷‍♀️#this is his fault bc of his own actions and choices. I've tolerated a lot from him but idc anymore#goodbye#Sera

Don’t Regret | Wonho Imagine
Pairing: Shin Hoseok x Reader
Requested by anon: Can you do a Wonho oneshot based on his song Don't Regret? 🙏🏽 I miss him so much 🥲
Genre: angst(?)
Word Count: 538 words
A/n: i actually hadn't heard this song yet (i've been slacking, ik). but it was worth hearing it for the first time i'll tell you that. sooooo good
Tunes: our planet season 1 on netflix
Tumblr media
You and Hoseok had always sworn to one another that despite whatever happened between the two of you in your relationship, neither of you would ever regret a single thing. That was a promise the two of you had made from the start. No matter what, you wouldn’t regret your love for one another.
All of the pain, the arguing, the insults, the anger, the love, the happiness, the full range of emotions, none of those were things you wanted to forget or erase from your life no matter how much they all hurt you in the end. Why?
You were happy.
You both were.
And it was a happiness that only came once in a lifetime.
So when the two of you ran into each at a grocery store. The same one where it all began all those years ago. In that very same aisle, reaching for the last container of protein powder, you couldn’t have been happier.
Hoseok looked great; different from what you could remember, but great. The boyish looks had faded, morphing into those of an experienced man who’d lived through some of the most tumultuous years of his life in his mid-twenties. You couldn’t help but feel proud of how much he’d changed and grown, for you knew none of that would’ve been possible if the two of you were still together.
The same was true for you in his mind. You’d grown and changed just as much. All for the better.
There weren’t any words to be said between the two of you for the first few moments, until a small laughter erupted between the two of you.
“It’s so good to see you after so long,” you finally breathed. “You look great, apart from the clear sleep deprivation.”
He smiled softly, “You do too.”
Both of you stood in the aisle talking catching up as fast you could in those few short moments you both had to spare before continuing on with your lives. As silence began to fall on the two of you once again, a small tension present as you both began dancing around the elephant between the two of you.
While you had both sworn yourself to the promise of no regrets, and you were both certain you were keeping your ends of the deal, there was no concrete way of knowing if the other was as well without asking - which was, frankly, quite weird.
“I don’t regret anything. Just like we promised we wouldn’t,” you finally spoke after a moment too long.
“Same here,” he added. “And I will never regret it. I was happy with you for so long.”
Going back to standing in front of one another in complete silence, you nodded, reaching out and patting his arm, leaving the protein powder for him to grab. Without another word you both gave each other one final smile before going your separate ways once more.
Even if all you had were memories of the past, simple things that you would never get to relive with the same person once again, you don’t regret a single thing you experience. You don’t regret a single thing you learned along the way. You could never regret love. Never ever.

Can't lie, I really hate (suck at) fluff, but I feel like this idea is too good to leave for someone else (ik ok, I'm selfish. Sue me ;P.) Thank you, Anon!

Eddie Munson x Male! Reader
CW: ⚠️none lol (just badly written fluff)⚠️
You should read this like it's Munson's POV :)
The shop bell chimed softly above Eddie's head, greeting him inside, and like always there lingered a distant smell of spiritual incense. He scanned the shop with big, curious eyes.
"Hey Munson." Chrissy smiled up at him from the counter, shutting a drawer she'd been rummaging through.
"Oh looky here, it's little miss cheerleader." Skipping over, Eddie grinned a wide smile and clasped his hands together.
"Still with the nicknames? That was years ago, Eddie."
"Oh, you love it." She really didn't love it. But, Chrissy's soft and smiling eyes didn't waver.
"Well then? It's been a while since I last saw you in here... what can we do you for, mister?"
Sighing, Eddie took his chin in hand, leaning against the counter.
"Well, I do have a few ideas. I was thinking a big one on the lower back. And, ehem, urm, maybe a little something on the wrist..?" His huge, brown eyes flicked up, pleading with Chrissy to let him have both.
"I'm not telling you again, Eddie. Business is tight, and I don't need anymore huge bookings for all our artists. They get tired."
"Hm, I don't.. I don't actually see anyone around right now, so-"
"No."
"Fine~" With a huff, his head fell down in defeat.
"Luckily for you though, that design you asked me to work on a few months ago? It's done." She grinned, whipping out a notepad from behind her back.
"Holy shit, Cunningham," Eddie grasped for the book, gawking its contents. "This is so damn cool. You've done it again... Thank you." Skin crinkled around his smile, Munson passed the book back. "I'll be having that one then."
"On the back still?"
"Hm, no. I think I'll have it right here." He grinned, pressing a ring clad finger against his chest.
Rolling her eyes, in memory of when young Eddie was just as enthusiastic, she wrote down the bill on some paper.
"Alright then. You wait here, I'll go grab L/n. We've got a new artist starting up here."
"Wait, what-"
Before Eddie could question any further, Chrissy had disappeared around the back, leaving him with the low beating music and an empty lobby.
'A newbie?' He wondered, taking a seat by the window sill. 'As in, fresh out of art school, newbie? Damn. What if he fucks it up...'
Worrying a lip between his teeth, Eddie decided it was best not to dwell, and (try to) have some faith in Chrissy's judgement.
"He's ready for you, Eddie."
...
"Eddie?"
...
"Oh my god, wake up, idiot!"
The man's eyes shot open as he jumped to life. "Yep! Yeah, I'm coming, uh-huh." Chrissy was stood by the counter again, shaking her head at him.
"It's fine you doing that in front me, but make sure not to fall asleep on Y/n... if he catches you in here... oh you're in for it."
"Right..." Eddie mumbled back before vanishing behind the curtains.
'What was all that about? I can't even close my eyes for a bit? How was that fair...'
Pullling the drapes shut behind him, Eddie raised his head, eyes locking onto his mystery tattooer.
The man's back was turned to Eddie, hunched over a collection of needles and ink; a frame of luscious hair shielding his face away. Before Munson could say anything, the artist glanced backward.
"Hey. Take a seat." His soft and dark-lined lashes blinked prettily above a lean shoulder.
"Hi."
Doing as he was told, Eddie sat down, his gaze locked onto Y/n's back ('that's his name, right?')
As L/n scanned twice over his equipment, Munson was very silently reeling beside him.
Was it... an angel? No, that didn't describe him nearly enough, but whoever this man was, he had a face like no other.
Perfectly sultry eyes, and the best kept hair Eddie had ever seen; smooth and well shaped to suit his jaw line. And don't even get him started on those absolutely divine--
"Good to meet you, Eddie." Y/n smiled with a calm (near-stoned) look on his face. "I'm Y/n, but I'm pretty sure Chris already told you that."
Wow, those really were some pretty eyes.
"Yeah, of course." Munson kept a brave face on, trying to relax into himself under Y/n's intense gaze. "Um, she also said you were new to this place?" As the man glanced back down at Chrissy's book, he scoffed gently.
"That probably wasn't the best way to introduce me. Especially when you've just asked for a tat like this." Y/n leant back against the wall, and discarded the book to his table. "No need to worry. I've been in business for a good few years now."
That settled Eddie's mind fairly fast, and his body would visibly loosen up.
"Phew, I thought I was gonna have to sell my whole caravan to get it fixed."
"Hmf. I would'a sued me right off the bat. If you ain't got the money to remove it, then  that ink is with you for life." Spinning around, Y/n hovered over his tools again.
Perfectly toned forearms flexing over the equipment, capped off by a pair of white gloves that Eddie wished would just go away. He bet Y/n was real good with his ha-
'Dude, you barely just met him. Shut up.'
"Alright. You ready to get started?"
Not really, no. Eddie would rather keep talking and gawking at him. In mere minutes, he'd been enraptured by the way Y/n's words rolled through the room,  smooth like butter into his ears. The intensity of their eye contact painfully inappropriate.
Though Y/n probably didn't feel the same, and was just going about the session like with any other customer, Munson couldn't care less. He was experiencing something he didn't want to let go of. That man had a face you could stare at for hours, and lips so sultry they were impossible to look away from.
"Sure thing." Eddie sighed, swinging his legs over the side and leaning back against paper-lined leather. This was all so terrifying. Not much was different, but having a gorgeously handsome dude right next to him, just about to feel up his chest and get super close--
Oh, good lord and fucking dragons, how was he supposed to survive this?
"Shirt off, please." Y/n instructed him, now returning with cotton pads and a bottle of, presumably, rubbing alcohol. "Don't have any hair under there, do you?"
Eddie's face lit up pink. Was he trying to get him flustered? Maybe that wasn't even something he should be flustered about...
Hell. Y/n was just a walking trigger.
"Uh, yeah? I got a few of 'em." Munson chuckled, nerves seeping through as he lifted his top away.
"Huh. Didn't expect that..."
'What does that mean!'
Y/n got to work- cleaning Eddie's skin and shaving the breadth of his chest. Fingers delicate, and ticklish in his plastic gloves. The slow drag of a razor leaving a trail of hot flesh in its wake. Hot from embarrassment. Hot all the way to his face.
Once those few moments passed, Y/n was finally on his way to the stencil; his pretty eyes focussed on moisturizing Eddie's skin. Careful not to rush, cautious to make Eddie comfortable.
And it wasn't working one bit. The pink glowing against Munson's cheeks was unbearable. He felt as though everything had turning numb- and though he knew the best thing to do was look away, he just couldn't.
"How about here?" The hum of Y/n's voice pulled Eddie back in. Wonderful eyes peering up into his own as a clothed finger hovered above his chest. Looking at Y/n was sending him insane.
"Y-yeah, I like that spot."
"I think this is a really good choice, Munson. It goes well with that spider of yours." His finger tapped against Eddie's close sitting tattoo soon before the transfer began. "I might have to get Chrissy to design me something."
Watching with an intrigued stare (though Eddie had seen the procedure countless times before), he gleamed at the compliment.
"I actually highly recommend that. Cunningham is the genius behind a bunch of these designs. You would never believe that girl used to be in cheer squad, God... She completely changed."
"Seriously? Oh, you've got me interested now." They laughed heartily in tandem. Perhaps one of them grinning a little too much with how lovely Y/n sounded.
Once the line art had begun and all the little tweaks and pinches of pain set in, Munson was speaking more frequently, trying to take his mind off things. Or atleast to get Y/n to talk more. Everytime he opened his mouth (which was rare, he found) Munson felt his heart flutter. As embarrassing as it was.
"-And then, we basically all just stayed after school everyday playing DnD from then on. You know that... board game?"
" 'Course I know 'that board game'. Who doesn't? But, I've always preferred Catan."
Eddie, after having talked Y/n's ear off for a good half hour, was now completely speechless.
"Are you... serious?"
"Oh, you're not one of those DnD converting mad-men, are you?"
"W-what? No, no. I don't actually, know what that means but- I'm just surprised that you even know what Dungeons and Drangons is, nevermind Settlers of Catan."
Tutting behind his mask, Y/n pulled the needle back, allowing Munson a little pain relief.
"Just 'cuz I'm dressed in all this grungy shit, just like yourself, it doesn't mean I can't be a nerd." Though he sounded pissed off, Eddie could tell by the creases at his eyes that that was definitely not the case.
Could the man get any better? Munson thought he was trapped in a fever dream with everything that was going on, and also how much his temperature was fluctuating (he hadn't the faintest idea what an actual fever dream was.)
"You know, if you need a break, just tell me. We've got a good few hours left before you leave this chair." The man said, patting the seat and turning around to swap his needles.
"Yeah, sure." Eddie smiled, his eyes attached to Y/n's body, knowing full well that was a bad idea. "Thanks."
And a good few hours it was. Most of the time being spent staring at Y/n and trying to hide all of his blushing and stuttering. The more they spoke, the worse Eddie was getting; and also the harder he was falling.
But suddenly that time was up.
"And we're done." The man would proclaim, sighing in exhaustion as he removed his mask. "That was a pretty successful session. What'dya think?"
Handing Munson the long end of a mirror, he waited patiently for a reaction.
"Holy shit." Eddie could barely say it, gasping at the sight of his absolutely brilliant tattoo. "This, is so fucking cool!
Y/n chuckled to himself, removing the white gloves from his fingers and placing all of his items to one side.
"Glad you like it. I think it could've used a bit more-"
"No. It's... amazing."
Y/n looked up from the finished piece and pulled his lips shut. "Okay."
Gradually, Eddie returned the mirror and pushed himself upright. That shit was gonna bruise so bad, he could already feel it. But once he saw Y/n standing over him and holding a hand out, all those after thoughts went away.
"I'll see you again soon?" Eddie questioned, looking over his shoulder by the door.
Y/n's pretty eyes simmered back at him, stealing Chrissy's spot by the counter.
"Sure, Munson." He smiled, shaking a hand his way. "But don't fall asleep next time."
"What?" Chrissy pointed up to the board over head. There was his face- hair all frazzled and mouth hanging, drooling "Oh, for fuck's sake-"
A/n: Okay, Ik that Catan was made in 1995, but shush. It's for the plot, capiche?  Also, Anon ik this isn't the spider tat, but I just imagined them meeting outta school (post S4.) PLUS, I needed Chrissy as the owner of this store 😜
Idk what that ending was, I just had to conclude that one line about not falling asleep (cuz I didn't know what else to put there), and now it's the title LMAO. "A" for... creativity?

Eleventh Day of Twelve - A Tired but Treasured Day
A/N - Look at that! We are second from the end! Thank you to all the comments and love! Really appreciate it, it's been a long week!
. . . .
Read previous drabbles below.
Tumblr media
. . . .
You walked into the office clinging to your cup of coffee. It felt like you were just here and you were, only five hours ago. This time however it was your own doing. You'd found a tiny shred of evidence to go on and had to follow it before the trail went cold. Then it lead to Gibbs and Nick finding the killer in a warehouse in town and bringing him in at just after 0100. You didn't finish interrogating until 0200 and it was now 0730. Coffee, coffee needed to be pumped into you to wake up this morning and a constant flow throughout the day would be required.
To your delight there was a hot cup sitting on your desk as you walked into the bullpen. No note so you assumed this time it wasn't from your gift giver. Day 11 and no one had spilled the beans or gone looking at the cameras like they wanted to on day one.
"Gibbs dropped it off about five minutes ago before he went down to get a report from Kasie who wasn't pleased to be called in so early." Ellie explained while leaning back in her chair and sipping her coffee. "He brought one for all of us."
"Christmas miracles do happen." Nick grinned, dropping his small cup in the trash. "Done."
"It's not a race. You just slugged all your energy for the next three hours."
"Oh please, I've stayed up later and come to work more tired before. Remember the November incident." He waved off.
"I still feel hungover from it." Ellie grumbled, scrunching her nose at the memory of Tequila.
"Please don't remind me." Tim groaned. "Plus I'm not allowed anymore Tequila, Delilah's orders."
"She may be on to something." You ran your hand through your hair, smirking at the banter. Turning on your computer for the day, you saw the next gift hanging from your desk lamp. It was beautiful, a little teddy bear carved out of marble with a shimmering purple and green crown sitting on its head.
"Day 11, the gift giver strikes again." You rolled your eyes at Nick's words while holding the Christmas decoration in your hand, running your thumb over the intricate detail.
It was sweet, a cute addition to your small Christmas tree at home. You'd put it up on December one. That was your tradition and some years it didn't seem worth it but you made the effort. Being alone on Christmas sucked, there was no way around it but this year you were making an effort to not sulk about it. The secret gift giver certainly lifted the spirit as well.
Your tree wasn't over the top but a nice addition to your home. This would fit perfectly front and centre and you made sure of it.
The day was relatively easy. The office banter keeping the spirits going with a good supply of caffeine. It was really just a lot of paper work and then you were set free around mid afternoon to try and have that weekend off. This time Vance made sure the team wouldn't be called in. There were other agents to take the call after all.
You'd missed Jack most of the day and didn't want to interrupt her as she was head deep in evals for the end of year. Instead you decided to shoot her a text when you got home.
- Just wanted to say have a good weekend. Didn't want to interrupt your head mojo.
You knew she'd get a kick out of it and you weren't mistaken.
- Head mojo hey? Smarty in the evening just like you said. Missed you today, didn't realise how many evals I still had to do before I went on my trip. Now I'm back logged and still at work.
It was just hitting 1830 which was a late one for Jack on a Friday. She was always hurrying along at the end of the week to make sure by the time 1700 hit she was out the door.
- I hope you are either finishing for the evening or planning on having dinner while you work. It's getting late, Jack.
- No need to worry about little old me. I need to get these done, I'll grab a bite later. Enjoy your night.
An idea popped to mind, you grabbed your coat and car keys and headed back out into the snowfall with your blue scarf still wrapped around your neck.
Thankfully, you weren't too far from the Navy yard and the Diner was just a five minute detour on the route. You called ahead so the food was ready when you got there and still warm when you knocked on her door.
"Come in, y/n."
You huffed, opening the door. "Now how could you possibly know it was me?"
Jack was sitting on her couch, shoes off, legs crossed and glasses tugging her hair back and sitting on her head. "You didn't reply, you always reply. And you care too much." She got up, placing her laptop on the coffee table and walking up to you.
Those were a lot of compliments you weren't entirely prepared for. You thought Jack was the one that cared a lot, but never too much. "I think I care just the right amount but I can eat this all by myself if you'd prefer?" You smirked, pretending to walk back out but Jack caught your arm.
"I didn't mean it like that. I lo-ike that you care so much." She ran her hand up and down your arm a few times before dropping it away. Her warm comforting smile turned into a cute frown. "And don't you dare walk out on me now that youve made all this effort to come here." She took a deep breath in. "Is that two cheeseburgers and fries?"
The frown and the way her nose twitched at the smell was completely adorable. "With a side of gravy. Wasn't sure if you liked it on your fries or not." You shrugged, missing the soft and loving look Jack gave, you walked past her and sat at one end of the couch, unpacking the bag of food. "Come, sit." You urged, patting the spot beside you as she just stood there and watched.
With a soft smile curving her lips, she came around after a beat and sat exactly where you said to. She took the small pot of gravy and poured it over her fries before pouring the rest over yours. "Thank you."
You bumped her shoulder lightly. "Anytime. Can't have Jack Sloane Hangry and loose in DC." That got you a slap on the knee but it was worth it as her hand soothed the spot she hit and stayed there for a while until it was time to eat.
"Didn't mean to ruin your Friday night plans either." She took a huge bite of the burger.
Between bites you managed an answer, "You mean my big watching The Holiday movie while eating a cup of noodles or the one where I go to sleep at 7pm because im living on about four hours sleep right now."
Skipping over how tired you were she jumped at the mention of the movie. "That's my favourite Christmas movie! It's got the best of both worlds! The sun of LA and the cold winter wonderland of the UK. God, I haven't watched that in years! My mum and I went to the movies to watch it and then every Christmas after we'd watch it together, some people had Love Actually, we had The Holiday. Guess I stopped watching when mum passed." She ate a few more fries. "Wow, Jack, way to ruin the good mood. Sorry. Got lost for a moment there."
You liked it when she rambled. She always would say so many interesting things and you just loved to hear her voice. You prayed the day never came when you wouldn't hear it anymore. "Don't apologize-" You held up your hand to stop her from butting in. "- And, no it's not because of Gibbs silly rule. I enjoy hearing about your past about things you love or did. The Holiday is a sweet movie, my must watch in December along with The Grinch, Home Alone and many more. I try my best to keep the holiday spirits up when I'm by myself for them which has been the last many."
"I enjoy hearing you talk too." She smiled, taking a massive bite of her burger and filling up her cheeks.
There was no silence after that. The evals were put to the side and you talked for what seemed like hours. Talking about childhood Christmas' and silly stories to cringe worthy dating moments over this time of year. It wasn't until you couldn't keep your mouth shut from yawning that you said good night around 2300.
"Sorry you didn't get your evals done." You sing over the roof of your car as Jack unlocked her Mini.
"Don't be. I'm happy to come in tomorrow because tonight was fun!" Her genuine smile told you that she wasn't lying. You could read people pretty well and most times Jack Sloane was an enigma to you but right now you knew she was telling the truth.
"Good night, Jack."
She opened her car door before adding. "Enjoy your movie!"
You yawned with a laugh. "You're kidding right? I'm going to sleep, I'll watch it tomorrow now."
"Fair, good night y/n. Sweet Dreams!"
. . . .
Who doesn't want this to end? Me. But I also maybe, slightly want a break from writing every day. It's been fun but tiring. I've enjoyed it a lot though! I love this time of year, if only I wasn't working in retail.

Three men sat at a small table chatting at their friends bar the band playing soft music. The short haired dirty blonde twirled his wetting band between his fingers while a female ring dangled from his neck as he sighed. Tonight he wanted to forget about the girl he was going to spend his life with and try to remember the girl that had his heart from the start. "Come on Dean. We came out so you can forget about the divorce not remince." His younger brother said. No hunt was coming up,no doomsday 2.0 just time off from it all.
"Back in town form a trip please Welcome back to the stage New Orleans own pretty little song bird,Miss [L/n]!" Benny spoke his accent coming out strong. The audience broke into a large uproar. Sam and Cas clapped along, but stopped when they saw who walked on stage. The eldest Winchester didn't notice till her angelic voice spoke. "No need for formality, suga. Known eachother the longest time." His head snapped up and he froze. There she stood in a [f/c] dress the just barely brushed the floor her make up seemed to make her glow under the spotlight. "You got it shar." The vampire kissed her hand before stepping off to the side.
Her [f/c] painted lips pulled back into a smile. "This song like all the others come from the heart and that's how I like to start off my shows. Starting with blues before we get to that upbeat music I love." A few people clapped and cheered agreeing. The music started of soft before picking up. Dean looked at her and his heart pulsed as she sung stealing his heart after he thought he gave it away so long ago.
"I heard church bells ring.I heard a choir singin'~" Her voice drifted her into a vividly painted memory she wished didn't hurt each time it resurfaced. The invitation burned in her hand as she stood outside the church house they were all adults she can walk in there to support her ex on his wedding, but it just hurt as she grew closer. "Y/n" Two voices pulled at her attention turning to them she smiled. "Mr., Mrs.Winchester!" She stated hugging them both. "Dear please no need for formalities you're still family." Mary said bushing the loose hair out off her face. "I'll have to. You guys won't be the only Mr and Mrs Winchester's?" Y/n spoke the words stabbing as she tried not to flinch. It was so painful, but he moved on so she had to let go if not for her for him. "It should be you up there sweetheart." John said truthfully.
"I saw my love walk down the aisle on her finger he placed a ring!~" Y/n sat in a far off row not wanting to be seen as she watched Dean walk down the aisle and stand their his brothers and best friends behind him as he waited for his bride. She came down minutes after him her dress flowing behind her with a bouquet of [L/f] flowers. Y/n tried not to glare, but she knew that wasn't the women for him that she should be in her place. If only she told him sooner, but forcing a smile she had to be strong for a while longer as she watched. "Ooh! I saw them holdin' hands! She was standing there with my Man!~"
Dean looked at the blonde who held hishand her fingers enterlocked with his own infront of him he smiled at her even if his eye wondered to the crowed. He caught her in the corner of his eye sitting down smiling for him tears slipping down her cheek as she tried to be discreta, but even in a crowed of a hundred he can always find her. Dean tried not to let the thought linger as he look back to his bride to be. "I heard them promise til death do us part. Each word was a pain in my heart~"
Y/n breath hicked alittle as she sung. Tears pooled in her eyes as she belted out the chorus. "All I could do! All I could do was cry~" The salted liquid left her tear ducts. "All I could do was cry!~" The two other women on stage Dean didn't even notice sung the back gowns in matching looking like brides maids. "I was losing the man that I love and all I could do was cry~" His heart skipped a beat when he hear love instead of loved. She still loved him. Y/n looked up at the crowd many of them held back the waterworks themselves it's when he [e/c] met those apple green beauty's she fell for since she was a teen.
"And now the wedding is over~" The [h/c] young women watched as the couple ran out of the church covering their heads as the guest cheered. "The rice,RICE has been thrown over their heads~" the uncooked rice layed on the ground as they waved goodbye and got in the limo the decorated string making noise the whole way. Y/n turned away from everyone and went to to her 1970 Chevrolet and drove back to the next town over to her motel. "For them life has just begun, but mine is endin'~" That's when she broke down in the room letting her happy facade break as she crumbled to the ground. All she wanted was to have her hunting life back she didn't know she'd lose the one person that made it worthwhile.
At the same time they thought back to the day it happened. "Ooh! All I could do. All I could do was cry!~" She came back bruised and beaten from a supposed business trip she walked into the quite apartment just to be greeted by harsh light. Dean sat there waiting thing she was cheating, but after one look he found out that wasn't the case. "Where the hell were you!?" He shouted off the bat his anger having festered long enough. "Huntin'." She saw no point in lying. "You promised me that after God and Amara that that was it for us!" Dean's face grew red in his outburst. "De you can take me out of the huntin' life doesn't mean I'll always be able to stay away. I was born into it this apple pie life just isn't for me." Y/n she couldn't look at him as she spoke.
"Then leave." His voice rung in the silence that followed. "But I'm staying here. So you walk out that door you can go back to hunting. You just can't come back to me." The blonde Winchester tried to keep his voice strong. He wanted to tell her he was speaking out of his ass. Y/n's breath hicked in her throat swallowing the lump she nodded her head "I'm sorry,Dean, but I'll always love you hun." She went to their once shared room and got her stuff and just like that she left into the dark. Alone in her car and alone in his apartment they cried. "All I could do was cry. I was losing the man that I love and all I could do was cry~" The music began to fade as she stepped back from the microphone wiping her eyes as she smiled at the crowd bowing before the act that played during her breaks started lifting the mood slightly since she was coming back strong. She walked away along the the back up singers to the dressing room.
Dean stood up immediately and rushed back their freezing in front of the door as the three women in normal clothing opened it walking past him as he slipped in the room. "Hey,Dean." Her voice sounded soft as he went to sit next to her. "Every day since that night I wanted to come back and I stopped myself each time. You started datin' and I was moppin' while hunting." Y/n licked her lips as she looked at him in the mirror her eyes slightly red. "They day of your weddin' was probably the worst day of my life. I knew that day I really lost you and every since then...well All I could do was cry."
Tears came to his green eyes as he looked back at the rings in his hand. One that was his and one that his ex never because it wasn't meant for her. "Y/n/n that night I was thinking about proposing to you I was to nervous to wait for our anniversary, but then you know what happened." She giggled slightly as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "After me and Emily got married I realized I couldn't love her no matter how hard I tried to it could never compare to how I love you." His hand came up to her shoulder pulling her close. "That apple pie life seemed so wrong that I got back into hunting myself and before you say it. Yes I'm a fucking hypocrite I know." Y/n's laughter was infectious as he began to laugh too. "Almost three year later look at me now. Divorced still crying about how I lost the women I loved for someone else."
Y/n turned to him grabbing his cheeks with both hands bringing his face closer to hers as she whispered. "I think we had done just about enough crying, hun." She said crashing their lips together for the first time in years it felt so good it was like everything was coming back together. Who needs a white picket fence when you got concrete walls of the bunker.
