I watched it today for the first time this morning and it uses my favorite song. I will never forget this feeling. I wish I can re-experience this feeling again.

Just watched "Sleepytime" from Bluey for the first time and I GET WHY EVERYONE LOVES IT SO MUCH OHMIGOODNESS THAT WAS MAGNIFICENT!!!

The music was SPECTACULAR (I loved the Jupiter leitmotif (it's still stuck in my head XD)), the animation was AMAZING, and LOOK AT THESE TWO SHOTS

so apparently way fewer songs have colors in the title than i expected ??? first to come to mind was Coldplay's "Yellow" which i do like but that felt a bit too easy LOL sooo here's "Yellow Light" by Of Monsters & Men! it's soft and slow and a little hypnotic towards the end, a staple of my sleepytime playlist hehe though the album is a longtime favorite!

Hey friends!

I just remembered this, I watched a tiktok about Bluey and classical music.

I myself am a violin player. When I found out that the producers wanted to reintroduce classical music to kids! Then hearing that in "sleepytime" has the Planets by Holtz, Jupiter in it. Give it a listen, and you can recognize where in the show Bingo is at!

I have such a love for music and gotten a better appreciation for it since becoming a performer.

💜 - So, my boy's gonna have to find another way to show his affection

gday! I just wanted to ask if there’s any possible way to listen to the soundtrack for “sleepytime” — I know it’s Holst’s Jupiter, but I’m looking for the specific version they played in the episode. it’s not on the Bluey album on Spotify 😭

sadly, there is no official version available at this time! the bluey album contains songs from s1. the show's composer has talked about wanting to make an album of s2 songs, but as of yet that has yet to materialize.

3. a song tied to a specific moment in your life

Drops of Jupiter by Train reminds me very strongly of getting lost in the mountains on Rhodes. I was there with my family when I was a teenager and there was this huge area where they were either making new roads or had dug up the pavement on the ones that were there before because it was all big dirt paths. Anyway, we ended up driving around there completely alone and it was very strange but nice. I guess I listened to that song a lot on that trip because it's all it makes me think of now.

But Bella, I have so many songs that are over 5 minutes long!I'll give you the longest instrumental track on my big shuffle playlist which is Into Ruin by Bongripper (28:25 minutes) and the longest one with actual singing happening is I:Monster by CoMa (19:45 minutes)
