@snarky-and-bitter Nope! She’s a pop star; it’s not unusual at all for an artists team to just purchase the rights to a song. Plenty of people make a living ghosting writing music. Galatea is just a great singer and performer who doesn’t necessarily write music.

Musa’s dad sold the songs to help them get by and it becoming a hit actually improved their quality of life a lot. But Galatea has no idea who Musa is, it’s a completely Parasocial thing. Meeting Galatea at Alfea is weird as hell and Musa has 6 metric tonnes of baggage about this girl who has not actually done anything to her

I kind of miss the Farrah, Saul and Harvey trio. They did Andreas dirty though.

my only complaint about Andreas was they shouldn't have killed him off in episode 4. He was such a rich minor villain turned rogue whose presence added depth to Saul, Sky, Beatrix, Riven & Dane, hell even Bloom's storylines.

my roxy & selina are little enemies to friends to 😳👉👈 selina's one year older than roxy and grew up on tir nan og whenever the earth fairies fled there while roxy was left on earth as an attempt to protect her (timeline is being reworked but like lazily bc i'm nooo good at that) she Does go a bit batshit with the revenge fairies which leads her to enroll in cloudtower and fuck around w the trix while roxy's tagging with the winx which is when they meet and Clash but eventually we throw them both at alfea and bloom makes sure they room together so we can keep an eye on them And they can keep an eye on each other. whenever they get friendly they're just Annoying and they enable each other in the worst ways and they get into some shenanigans but they're fun and i'm so fond of them !!

Hello I wanted to know if you defined your version of the nymphs from winx yet

Hey what’s up! JSYK I got your other asks too I’m just saving them until I have something interesting to say/real life is kicking my ass.

As for the nymphs I was interested in the early lore we got about the nymphs of magix and I am treating the Nymphs as an order of powerful fairies dedicated to protecting the great dragons flame and the balance of magic, also kind of taking the spirit of the concept of guardian fairies a little bit?

The original nine would probably be like, legendary figures who aren’t around anymore but the Order of nymphs would have been styled after them. I like the idea that they’re associated with the great dragon and the likenesses are used in temples and state buildings and stuff.

I was working on concepts for the vestments, kind of inspired by how Daphne originally looked but I’m sheepish to do the full bird head thing idk tho.

I think the vast majority of the nymphs were killed during the fall of domino and the order is slightly defunct now, tho I do think it’s a nice if predictable move to make the number of the original legendary nymphs (9) into 6 with the implication being that the Winx girls can kind of be a revival of the concept (or 7 if I include Roxy in that)

We are continuing our spooky Winx character extravaganza while October is still happening. Now that Alex and Barb have suffered through Stormy, it’s time to move onto Alex’s favorite and the second witch of the Trix trio: Darcy🌀😵‍💫💜!

I always had a soft spot for Darcy since she wore glasses (like me) in her casual clothes, and I’m excited for you all to see what Barb and Alex came up with!

“You may have noticed my recent obsession with heat transfer vinyls, and this video isn’t any different. We’re gonna press some vinyl, okay?”

“For Darcy’s makeup, I could not resist the temptation of a smoky eye. She’s my favorite of the Trix, and she has to be perfect.”

“Usually I’m not responsible for clothes, but Barb said if I want the look from the concept art, the top has to be sculpted.”

“I imagine Darcy as an elegant and intelligent but also dangerous witch, and I think some tattoos will be perfect to bring out her rebellious side.”

And here she is! I adore this version of Darcy, I think think the sculpted top and purple tattoos give her a really sexy, edgy vibe! I always felt Darcy’s powers were a bit underutilized in the show, so it’s nice to see her getting some love!
