When ppl ask why traditional men and women don’t get together the answer is literally so simple. Like these kind of women are all about misogyny until the disrespect comes. And I’m talking true degradation and disrespect; as in they want the man to make all the choices till they realize it’s ALL the choices. They don’t want to think until they realize they don’t GET to. It’s the same reason when ppl ask why ppl like Pearl don’t shut the fuck up since it’s not traditional for women to speak. Their entire view of traditional relationships is Pinterest Boards, Incel tweets, and 40s propaganda posters.
Like it’s all ‘why can’t I just stay at home and cook for the kids’ ok but what happens when you want to go out on a fun trip and he says no. What happens when kid A is sick with X and kid Z is sick with Y and there’s a parent teacher conference for kids L-P and once ur done with all that u have to have food on the table? Like these women don’t think it through at all, which is part of the problem btw like that bimbo resurgence shit is just another excuse for y’all not to fucking think, and then when it’s 30 years down the line and they’re stuck in loveless marriages (because these men don’t love them. They think it’s love but when they tell you to shut the hell up about something you were interested in before them it starts to click) they blame the whole damn world and it’s so sick.
#this isn’t anything new or revolutionary like I’m just sick of seeing the same shit everywhere#it’s not feminism fighting against the trad life btw it’s most definitely capitalism 🙏🏾#y’all (✋🏻) have to work bc we (🙏🏾) don’t do that for u anymore#anywayyys#it’s just so funny#like not funny haha#funny these people are so unserious#and it’s crazy how ppl get comfortable in their oppressions once the bank is affected#almost like that’s the point#sometimes I think we’re making so much progress and then it’s like. we’re back to chapter one#THIS is what 101 feminism should be btw#like idk not to bring up Barbie#but like THATS not even feminism 101#I already said this but like any class 101 plants the seeds of what you’ll be discussing#racism 101 WILL mention capitalism#even in passing#for example#any kind of feminist who doesn’t even glance at it right off the bat?#Idcccc#whatever this got disjointed#I’m not fixing it tho tgtgigi

also the tone of my posts suggest that I am very sex neg and kink neg but i promise u thats not true at all I think everyone (not including ppl who disenjoy sex) should be fucking like, as often and in as inventive ways as possible. Sex is fucking awesome and I think any healthy society would view sex as less of a boxed in concept and more of just various actions to foster pleasure and/or interpersonal intimacy until sex isnt really something we consider dirty or filthy and is understood to be one of the fundamental ways humans relate to eachother, alongside like, sleeping and eating. Like duh marxist feminism 101 family abolition means rejecting the heteropatriarchal norm that intimacy is something that ought only be shared within a nuclear family. "You only fuck your monogamous spouse, you only sleep next to them, you only share dinner with your spouse and kids regularly. You see your friends for fleeting moments outside of this and have no real connection. This is whats normal" LIKE THATS INSANE THATS INSANE THATS INSANE. WE THRIVE WHEN WE LIVE IN COMMUNITIES, WE WERE MEANT TO EAT SLEEP EAT SOCIALIZE AND BY EXTENSION, HAVE SEX IN COMMUNITIES. I have friends I will cuddle to sleep frequently that I will never sleep with, just like ive enjoyed sex with people that I will never cuddle to sleep. Hell I even occasionally go cruising at leather bars for christsake (the public gay groupsex thing not the boat thing) and I think its healthy for me to indulge in from time to time!!! I obviously think sex and kink are cool things!! But just like being mentally unwell can result in overeating and oversleeping it can also result in overfucking!! it can also manifest as overeating insomnia hyposexuality but i digress. BUT ANYWAYS IM PRO SUCKING AND FUCKING IM PRO LOTS OF KINKS BUT I AM GOING TO CALL OUT MALADAPTIVE BEHAVIOR WHEN I SEE IT

Can we pls be normal abt having trans ppl "look like their agab"???? pls??? like man u dont gotta transition at all to be trans... it's just a thang u r... man. Yea sure yall can draw a character u fanon as transmasc with big tits thats that, so why do ppl think saying u cant do that is activism????????????????????????????????????? like yea its weird if its lliterally obviously done by a chaser but it sounds transmed if u think abt it for a sec... let ppl draw what they want as long as its respectful to identities. saying transmen cant be fem is like real stupid... the moment ppl come out of a pussy they fucking look like their gender 101% of the time in yalls brain or something??? little boys can only play with blue toy cars..? Or even if the character isn't trans its just drawn gnc
Like i get it, some characters are (mostly)feminized to hell and back, and it gets tiredsome but then- just dont look at it? accept it, try to understand the why if it really bothers u... but dont be idk whatever that is that i see from time to time???
Its fine to meme it, like how in mlm ships they always end up drawing one super macho and the other super fem to idk - the seme and i dont know the other ones name lol - like thats kind of a silly trope that probably stems from heteronormativety.
But when its like a fucking fanart of just the guy... ya know binary trans ppl dont have to look like what you think their gender presentation should look like, how you think their body should look like... idk. their isnt a limit of how gnc someone can be and by imposing that on a fictional character, a interpretation or exploration of fiction???
man this turned into a big ass rant. No hate, just think abt WHY for a second or two.
I have never been anyone but me, so i should judge them if its something that isnt purpously hateful/ dangerous or follows such narrative even if it doesnt make full sense to me. Yea. ok bye
#yea#idk how well i worded this and oh god i sure as hell hope this doesnt get hate#like contructive criticims or a civil discussion is fine#rant#opinion

the thing that’s annoying about the barbie oscar’s discourse is that people are now using og as an excuse to be racist or are trying to defend margo not getting nominated for one reason or another. but that’s not the point. like yes i’m overjoyed and thrilled that the front runner is an indigenous woman (who is the first indigenous woman to be nominated in this category) and i’m hoping she wins. but that doesn’t mean i’m not pissed about the back that ryan goslings ken is getting more praise and admiration then margo robbie’s barbie is.
like the film is very much so feminism 101, which despite people bitching online was always the point as it’s meant primarily for children and it helped a lot of teens and women be introduced to the topic of feminism because they’d never learned it before, there were woman leaving bad relationships and teenagers crying because they felt seen in america ferreras monologue. yes, the film didn’t go to heavy into intersectionality but it still showed a lot of woman what they needed to hear and is also going to show young girls that it’s okay to not be perfect. this film was always meant to highlight woman as a whole.
so why is it that everyone is going crazy over ken? why are there 75 remixes of “i’m just ken” or the “kenenough” sweaters everywhere? why is ken getting more love and praise than barbie? THATS THE ISSUE! if ken hadn’t been nominated for best supporting actor i don’t think as many people would be upset (though their still would be discourse), but it’s the fact that KEN was nominated over BARBIE. the male antagonist is being given for love and appreciation than the actual lead or the director. like even ryan gosling is saying this is BS.
this is just a pointless rant but i’m just genuinely annoyed that everything i’ve seen is either racist or trying to call out how everyone upset is just angry because white feminism (which there is a lot of that, see the LA times article about this) when it’s actually more about how a film that’s feminism 101 is being snubbed and only praised for its male achievements.
like, whether or not margo or greta deserved to win is a whole other conversation to have. but the fact their not even nominated is a big issue with hollywood and the academy as a whole and it’s literally being perfectly demonstrated.
again, im excited that lily gladstone is the front runner because that is a HUGE achievement for feminism, but we can still acknowledge the elephant in the room

barbie thoughts!
my friend said this in the best way: barbie is for anyone who has a complicated relationship with girlhood. its restorative
and that rings so true for me -- the movie honored girlhood and play! greta gerwig said lets play dolls and then i went into the theater and i did!! it took this very specific and intimate form of storytelling (playing dolls) and treated it with the utmost care and importance.
there were so many fun little tropes of doll play, like the car to the boat to the rocket to the tandem bike and then in reverse. its something i did a lot as a kid. the sudden creation of stakes that dont actually make a lot of sense plotwise, but make a lot of sense emotionally (im thinking of when they were like omg we have to change the constitution lol)
thats why i think the ostentatious dialogue works -- its not trying to show you a human story through realism, its trying to play out a human story with dolls. its also why america's speech worked so well for me even if it was feminism 101 -- for me as a little kid, i often would speak through my toys with unmediated speeches to express how I felt. womanhood (and those adjacent to womenhood in some way) is so unfair. and the idea of wanting fairness sometimes feels so childish. so its cathartic to hear it in plain terms. even if it's obvious, or you've heard it before, that doesnt change how frustrating it is to have these conflicting standards. even i, nonbinary and versed in a good deal of gender theory, still engage and feel constrained by the limits of womanhood. I still feign ignorance or smile to obfuscate any power I have in male spaces. and just because im aware of it doesnt make it go away
i hated barbie growing up. she didnt look like me or want the same things i wanted. but at the same time, she got to be a vehicle for stories that i wanted to tell and a vehicle for the things i thought were fun: sleepovers every night! forever! it was a really pure expression of joy. and barbie, very importantly, wasnt a baby doll that I had to take care of (which i already did enough of for my younger siblings and family)
as i see it, dolls are so sexualized all the time. they are objects onto which you can place desire. they are innocent and perfect and pliable. they are idealized, plastic, cold, unfeeling. you can fuck them or keep them behind glass. you can ogle their bodies freely and for your pleasure. but the barbie movie treated the idea of dolls and play so preciously. it said, you used to play like this, right? this was really important to you.
I feel like what I see of girlhood portrayed is usually an observation or analysis at best. at worst it is a joke or a backdrop for violence. by showing us a movie that operates under the assumption that we are playing dolls, the barbie movie invites us in to girlhood as we are. i missed it so much and i didnt even know it was something i missed.
i have a difficult relationship with girlhood -- strong feelings of not belonging or relating and having crushing expectations placed on me for reasons out of my control and the shame i felt so acutely (which i think is pretty normal fwiw). this movie saw that, honored it, and engaged in the same play we were ridiculed for. and said you can be anything. that's the joy of it. you can take this doll and go farther. there's no wrong way to play. create any world you want.
im not a woman anymore and im not sure if i ever was. but i did experience girlhood and felt shame for it. and the barbie movie help my hand and said it's ok. you're not doing any of it wrong.
#barbie spoilers#barbie#i fear this doesnt make sense#i have cried like 7 times in one day over this movie

Barbie
i watched barbie. i thought it would be better from all the praise it got. it did pretty well on feminism 101. almost.
ryan gosling somehow did the best acting job ive seen from him yet and i guess they did cast right because he did not actually look too old in the film. i liked the start quite a lot. i thought the end didn't work and didnt have a tempo that works. barbie's existential journey was the conclusion but wasn't actually the main conflict or story, so ending on it was very random. felt like a distraction from how they ended the actual story. they definitely improved it by having the narrator dryly compare the ken's first steps and eventual gains in power to women's position today. but...the dance and sing off and the whole journey where ken just needs to be ken and not so focused on barbie....it's certainly a commentary on masculinity, but its a bit too generous towards men - if kens are supposed to be like men. the solution offered is to wake up from the brainwashing, remember you're a human being, make a plan in solidarity with your sisters, and use mens egos to have them go to war with each other - meanwhile you can make the laws? this doesnt make sense in analogous way which made the ending fall short. you've got to trick men out of voting? how hostile towards men, and then instantly forgiving, because they're just insecure and obsessive. in the real world, that shit ends in femicide...it wasn't coherent
the missing puzzle pieze in this is the PATRIARCH. i liked the on-the-noseness of it all generally dropping the word the patriarchy left and right but the analogy fell short here. it is not women who send men to war with each other to control them. and to do so in the real world of real bullets does not benefit women, FAR from it. it is the patriarch that sends young kens to war with eachother to control them. but there is no patriarch in barbieland.... this is what i thought Mattels CEO was going to be. and that maybe barbies and kens would band together against him. alas.
they might have been able to push it - the ending as it was - maybe thats what we were supposed to get, where stereotypical barbie, even stereotypical barbie becomes a real woman. there's somethign there, the problem is i dont know what.
i was amazed by the great acting from the kid and gloria. even lines that wouldnt otherwise have worked. my favourite jokes were the kid outright calling babrie a FASCIST out of nowhere jahahahaha. and my other two favourite jokes was the dad learning spanish on duolingo and him not having been the dude teaching her mom to drive like that. and maybe also the dude being like HAHA no we do patriarchy very well. we just hide it better. not quite a joke but very sharp
mattel's ceo was also quite amusing. over the top by just the right amount. but then they made him A Fine Dude After All instead of the patriarch as i said.

Looking at some fan projects for clj and ive Truly not seen ppl act like this about a m/f couple in a cdrama in recent years. clj is a win for feminism actually
#this level of hype used to be reserved for 1) produce 101 idols debut night or 2) gaybait BL cdramas#i guess they were hype for the produce 101 girl idols too. thats kind of feminism. i guess#the fact that xiao zhan & wang yibo had like a thousandths of the chemistry that didi and esther had and got sooo popular off of that#clown ass show. makes me so mad. it’s literally misogyny. and they didnt even pick hotter men to project their internalize misogyny on#sidney talks shit

spontaneity can be fun! and it's so sweet that you're starting traditions with your gf ❤️💚 this is probably warranting another Read More (which i love by the way and you shouldn't feel ashamed of) but i know how much lela from teen beach movie means to you and i wanted to hear why? 😊 - 🎅🎁🎄
hi again friend! sorry for responding so late but youre right this will be another read more! thanks for asking such good questions!
i think at the heart of it, lela is my favorite for the same reasons that i like a lot of my favorite characters: honesty, genuineness, and resilience. having the bravery to love openly, to explore, and to believe in yourself enough to keep going, even when other people may not support you.
lela is unwaveringly kind, caring, and loving. in the first movie, we watch her dance around blissfully, spread compliments and positivity like confetti, and welcome mack and brady into her world like long lost friends. she is unafraid to show care and compassion, and she loves like its the most natural thing in the world for her to do. we watch her confront a fear and begin to learn how to prioritize herself, but shes a little hesitant. she is ready to grow, but she needs a little help. in the second movie we get to see her take agency over her own life and her own narrative, putting herself and her interests first, without sacrificing the loving aspect of her character. she continues to support and uplift others as shes learning to uplift herself. she wears her enthusiasm proudly, and she grabs every opportunity she can.
the thing that sets lela apart from every other character for me is the way that she truly exemplifies confidence. to me, confidence is the most important thing in the world, the most crucial trait for a person to have, and lela came to me at a particularly impactful and influential time in my relationship with myself.
i was 16 when teen beach 2 came out. i hadnt really cared much about the first teen beach movie; i liked it, but i wasnt obsessed. when the second movie came out, i was right in the middle of a very transformative 2 years of my life, where i had decided that i was going to learn to love myself at all costs. i made conscious efforts to step outside of my comfort zone, i read a ton of self-help articles, i wrote myself affirmations, and i just generally reworked my entire brain to become a more confident person. i started to lean more into media, music, and friendships that made me feel good, and to unapologetically enjoy things. i was also learning a lot of new things about feminism and about society as a whole. and for the person i was at the time (and the person i wanted to become), lela came at the exact right moment.
i understand that some people may see lela as an embodiment of surface-level, hashtag girl power disney channel feminism (esp with the “girls can do anything boys can do” line in the first movie). i know that she may seem cheesy and maybe unrealistic to some people. i get that. but as a role model for some of the important changes i was trying to put into place in my own life at the time, she was absolutely perfect.
society teaches women specifically not to like themselves. to never be “too much.” to never be too smart, too loud, or too into themselves. thats misogyny 101. we learn to conflate confidence with arrogance, and to worry that if we’re nice to ourselves, if we think well about ourselves, then it MUST be arrogance at that point, which is a bad trait to have. we learn that if we express ourselves, embrace our ideas, and push to be heard, that thats selfishness, and we’re taking from other people when we take up space. this is simply untrue; a confident person coexists on an equal plane with others, giving themselves the same time, attention, and care that they would give to other people. i was working to internalize this idea at 16 when lela became the perfect example. in growing her confidence and her power in tb2, she never gives up the person she was in tbm. she doesnt negate all of her wonderful qualities, like passion and care and genuineness, when she chooses to have new experiences.
yes, she walked out of her movie and left the wet side story characters behind, but it wasnt for nothing. she left an environment that wasnt fulfilling for her anymore in pursuit of a fuller life. she still had lots of love to give, and she set out to find mack and transfer her love and energy into their relationship. (shes gay your honor!!! but the point is) she chose to live authentically and knew that she deserved to become her best self, and when she returned to the movie, she brought back the lessons that she had learned in the real world.
in the real world, she got to do calculus and chemistry, make new friends, wear new clothes, invent, create, and excel. she gained admiration for her skills and the content of her character, rather than for the role she played in other peoples lives. she can rebuild a motorcycle AND lead a musical number, and she learned those things could coexist. her femininity could be part of her strength, rather than being seen as a weak point or something that precludes her from going on the bigger adventures. i cannot stress how important it is to see her embrace all of these pieces of herself, unapologetically, in a positive light, and without losing the people close to her!!!
lela is a fictional character, but she has always been my role model for living an honest, passionate life full of love both for myself and for others. lela queen of the beach was a result of the positive impact she had on her world when she used her newfound power, skills, and self-assuredness to enact change. wet side story transformed from being an antiquated narrative that young people had never heard of and didnt enjoy, to being a movie (lela queen of the beach) that mobs of teenagers bought tickets to watch on the beach, passionately dancing along, unified, to the opening number. it became the movie that inspired girls like mack to surf, and girls like alyssa to talk to their crushes. it was subversive and progressive for its time period, making it a classic that remained prominent for 60 years. and all of that power and influence came from one young woman, who was inspired by another young woman. role modeling is a multilayered theme in the teen beach movies, and personally, lela provides motivation for me to give my all, unapologetically, in situations where i can exert a positive impact.
lela symbolizes beating your fears and doubts, stepping out of your comfort zone, creating your own power, and becoming independent, all while staying true to yourself and honest with others. for all those reasons, she will always be a source of warmth and comfort for me.
#bro tell me why i cried writing this#shes so important to me#thank you again for asking all the best questions!!!#this is really fun i love pouring my soul out under read mores#answered asks#anons#gcwca secret santa#Anonymous

To several (now former) mutuals, if you uncritically reblog non vent stuff about how the solution to X aspect of sexism or the patriarchy is to kill all men, I'm going to be unfollowing for my own safety and mental health. Because you think it's okay to say I should be killed because of societal problems I'm actively fighting against. For having the audacity to be born the gender I am.
You regularly reblog terf and radfem propoganda and talking points, including posts actively shaming teenagers for how "Sexy" they dress and how they're "promoting a culture of pedophilia". Even though it isn't obviously framed as that (instead it's framed as omg look what the culture is causing these innocent young girls to do, lets post their picture and heavily criticize them), it's still a shitty thing to do. Thats swerf 101. Shame girls/women for their personal choices, and instead of getting into a proper critical analysis of the cultural pressures that contribute to those, and offering solutions, it's just "Buzzwords, kill all men, that'll fix this!"
Which as a trans guy does not leave me in anything resembling a healthy situation in following your blogs.
I hope you can find a more intersectional approach and don't keep getting suckered into this stuff. The rate it's going I'm worried you'll end up part of the cult of misogyny and violence masquerading as a form of feminism that radfems are.
And I hope you understand that when you seriously say kill all men, that means your trans guy friends, followers, and mutuals too. And that it does have a negative impact on the mental health of at least some of us.
To summarize, saying girls shouldn't be forced into performative femininity is good. Saying I should be killed because somehow that will bring that about? Not good.
(If anyone sees this and it applies to you, this isn't a gtfo. I'm not blocking you and you don't have to unfollow, though you're free to if it would make you more comfortable. I'm just not following anymore because having posts like that cross my dash is stressful and bad for my health. It's like having a friend say that I should die.
It also doesn't apply to posts where that phrase is hyperbolic or venting. I get that. It can make my brain nervous, but I understand where that comes from.)
#i needed to post this for my own sake because we were mutuals for a while and this just fucked up my mental health#personal

hmm lets look at another one
hmmmmm
soo the question is does love at first sight exist and my answer is no and the reason is bc its basically defined as a “strong emotional bond” and you can’t really get that from just looking at someone, right? like you say that it was love at first sight but do you know, at first sight, if they’re actually someone you could love?? like what if they eat babies would you still be in love with them once you walking in on them with a mouth full of dead baby and the rest of the corpse in their hands??? no bc thats scarring and disturbing but you didn’t know that at your whole ‘love at first sight’ so if you dont love them after you get to know them does it count as a strong emotional bond?? like yeah lust at first sight is a thing like “mm yes daddy bend me over and fuck me” but that’s not necessarily a strong emotional bond and it just seems like a huuuge thing to have at one glance like??? wow you wanna marry this person you’ve never talked to them and i heard from jim that they lick the gum stuck under the tables aND I JUST

i’m kinda torn between venting about this and just kinda dropping it but any community that says they’ll protect people and then having to bring up an actual problem and ending it with ‘just stop, i can’t handle it, hugs all around, love, ppl don’t want to see this’ is never a solution. I get it. You cannot please everyone and I rocked the boat but if you’re just gonna allow that rhetoric then your chat isn’t actually safe for those people and you’re brushing over a problem just because your mental stuff can’t handle it and people don’t want to see it.
There’s workarounds for that and honestly the idea that it just stops there and the effort ends with no punishment and probably leaves the party who rocked the boat feeling guilty they even bothered to tell someone that “cracker isn’t a slur” leaves the same fucking ‘shut up about racism because i’m mentally ill’ thing that excuses white guilt and puts up with other people’s suffering as status quo bc its not theirs
sorry i ever speak up it’s not like i believe maybe people should critically think about shit even if it upsets them
i dont get brownie points and i dont WANT them for bringing this up bc racism DOESNT affect me and i shouldnt be posting this where people who experience it every day can see it and be like “you dont even experience racism” and boy dont i and im critical enough that speaking up is getting trained out of me as i lose trust in my safety for communities i should be standing up for
and that feels bad
i dont know. like. i feel like maybe this is a struggle thats so specifically white that its not. that i shouldnt be posting it visibly. but also like, containing things is making me so fucking uneasy and my coping mechanism of choice is not a good one but where do we go from here
how do you discuss this without being . actively a shitty human being about it. my struggle with internal racism and external racists isn’t a struggle that is important when faced off against what racism actually looks like to actual poc and especially bpoc and im aware of that but im not sure how to cope with my own learning and the people around me
sucks
sucks that i’m “too critical” (sarcastic back pats) to exist in communities and feel good about it anymore
sucks that the world isnt like. past feminism 101. past racism 101. past this shit. boy howdy. no such thing as a safe space for anyone
#most of this is me justifying my need to vent about it and not about the actual issue anyway i hope i repress and imbitter the community#that way i dont have to think about it

Week 8: Homonormativity
A relatively new term within the queer community, homonormativity has been used to describe the complex relationship of gay individuals in regards to what they define as normal when it comes to long term goals and desires in their life. Lisa Duggan most justly defines it as “A politics that does not contest dominant heteronormative assumptions and institutions, but upholds and sustains them, while promising the possibility of a demobilized gay constituency and a privatized, depoliticized gay culture anchored in domesticity and consumption" (Duggan 2003). The basic premise of homonormativity is the fact that it stems off its counterpart, heteronormativity.
Homonomartivity takes shape in many forms but most evidently, there are clear examples of it within pop culture today and how media portrays it. We can take marriage equality for instance. A prime example of heteronormative ideals being forced upon the queer community. While yes certain people within the community fight for marriage equality, who is to even say that they necessarily want that?
A commercial aired in 2016 portraying a young lesbian couple eloping as all part of an advertisement for the widely popular Zales jewelry company. While I’d like to think they're main reasoning behind this IS to shed light on a queer culture regarding marriage and inclusion/visibility, it appears to be nothing more than a capitalistic publicity stunt to entice a larger crowd amongst the queer community. Because of our dominant hegemonic society that regularly promotes monogamy, some might naively believe that gay people want to be “just like us” in terms of heteronormative ideals. This is once more an oversimplification and broad statement that needs not apply to the queer community. It feels in a sense that just for equal rights, queer people have to reassure the rest of the world that they indeed “aren’t that different” and just want a “normal life”. In actuality, all queer people are asking for are their fundamental human rights, regardless of what our heteronormative society considers what that is. Which in my opinion is not too much to ask for. But hey thats just me, right?

review of that scooby movie ranking video im just now getting around to
the way she speaks is so fucking obnoxious. like she’s SUUUUCH an expert on the scooby formula and when it’s being broken properly and when it isn’t. just because you enunciate your words doesn’t make you right
scrappy hate but i expected it. and she’s not even right!!! she was like “i hate scrappy because his presence signifies the absence of the mystery gang” IT LITERALLY DOES NOT there’s an entire season where the gang is with scrappy doo and 2 more entire SERIES with daphne there. and then calling lil homie gay ass ugly for no reason
SCOOBY GOES HOLLYWOOD BEING RANKED SO LOW AND THE SCOOBY DOO WE NEED YOU SCENE BEING MADE FUN OF. YOU ARE CUTTING HER UP I HATE YOU
oh wow the cartoon network live actions right above goes hollywood. i’m sure you’re soooo interesting and funny and special. oh and now she’s an expert on the production of a cartoon network show from 2010. do u really think the network woulda let them canonize lesbian velma at that point??? bubbeline was nothing more than a glimmer in the adventure time writers’ eyes there’s no way they woulda let them touch scooby doo which is a preexisting franchise!!!
calling scoob 2020 corporate and soulless. i’m sure you’re soooo interesting and funny and special
DAPHNE IS HER FAVORITE CHARACTER. SIRENS!!!! SIRENS IN MY HEAD
daphne and velma ranked ABOVE scoob and the cn movies? bold choice. still too low to pass my vibe check. wait she just said the cn movies have nick energy. they were literally.....on cartoon network. wait she’s complaining bc daphne and velma know each other at the start of the movie and she would have liked it if it was a story about two polar opposites becoming unlikely friends. NO YOU WOULDN’T HAVE!!! you would have still called this movie trash no matter what the plot was!!!
she keeps saying “the good live action movies” sis..........they aren’t good either BJADFSJFLKSD
the only good takes so far: daphne being the Empath in scoob was dumb & ghoul school isn’t that great and the actual plot isn’t fun to watch
wait. she ranked samurai sword like mid 30s. and one of her main talking points is that. it doesn’t make sense for daphne to be invited to a martial arts tournament??? and not the heinous racism that’s present for the entire runtime??? what the fuck is wrong with u. ofc making daphnea feminism 101 girlboss is dumb but like it’s pre-established she does that stuff in 2002???
ok this is hilarious
another good take: i agree that any conflict between shaggy and scooby always feels really forced and dumb and they should just stop trying to make them fight
ranking big top over abracadabra.....smh
not pointing out the creepy starchild/daphne......smh
pointing out that frankencreepy and moon monster madness were def written by men LMFAO
finally some goblin king love. however shes contradicting herself shes like “theres no mystery in it and thats ok” why did you say #notmyscooby when earlier scooby movies didnt have em then huh
“stage fright is like daphne and fred fanfiction which is only an insult if you’re boring” LMAOOOO I LOVE THAT LINE
wtf is she talking about ppl saying true camp cannot be intentional???? what the fuck do you mean it’s not camp if it’s not intentional? i know it’s not her saying it and its her quoting ppl but like. do these people not know about the existence of drag queens. that’s the most cishet take i’ve ever heard. looking camp right in the eye
very glad to see alien invaders as #2 but very bored to see zombie island as #1. i sound like not like the other girls whenever i complain about ZI and witch’s ghost always getting top rankings but i just dont GET ITTTT i get it but i also don’t. be more interesting. where’s someone with fuckin. lego beach blowout as their #1
calling the werecats in ZI “catgirls” is actually peak comedy and now i will start doing that
the later opinions on their top ranking ones are mostly good but also very boring the higher up you go. the lower rankings are all very bad opinions. not as bad of a video as it could have been but i still dont want her to touch this franchise ever again because she’s gonna watch be cool at some point and then talk about how the art style isn’t fluid while enunciating all her Ts and act like wnsd is better than it was and that it’s the peak of scooby tv and im gonna kms when that happens

This week 3,000 college students met near Trumps Mar-a-Lago resort for a summit on free speech, the culture wars, and the dangers posed by the left
Its an American tradition that any large gathering of students usually ends up in a party. Such a convocation in Florida this week, barely a stones throw from Donald Trumps opulent winter retreat at Mar-a-Lago, was billed as a political action summit for young conservatives. In the event, amid a multitude of Make America Great Again caps and Trump for America flags, it was essentially a raucous celebration of the president himself.
About 3,000 students from campuses nationwide gathered on Trumps doorstep at the Palm Beach County convention center for the four-day winter summit, hosted by Turning Point USA. The mission statement of that young persons activist group promotes non-partisan debate, dialogue and discussion. But its leanings were signalled pretty clearly in the quasi-official motto that was printed on placards placed on every seat: Big government sucks.
A succession of Trumps biggest cheerleaders joined the party as headline speakers, from former White House staffers Sebastian Gorka and Anthony Scaramucci to rightwing commentators and broadcasters including Dennis Prager and Tomi Lahren. Each warned the eager young loyalists of the dangers posed by the left.
Some of the loudest appreciation was, however, reserved for the presidents son Donald Trump Jr, who came to tell the students that faceless government officials were behind special counsel Robert Muellers investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.
There is, and there are, people at the highest levels of government that dont want to let America be America, Trump Jr told his enthusiastic audience. My father talked about rigged system during the campaign, and it is. Now were seeing it.
Charlie Kirk, the 24-year-old founder and executive director of Turning Point USA, is seen as a rising star of the right. He bristled at the suggestion his lineup of speakers was weighted to deliver a strongly pro-Trump message.
Its actually a very diverse group, racially diverse, ethnically diverse and philosophically diverse, he told the Guardian, shortly before taking to the stage with Trump Jr.
One of these dishonest reporters I was talking to a couple of weeks ago said, Hey Charlie, it seems your speaker lineup is all people who love Trump and work for Fox News. I said, Thats one of the most intellectually dishonest statements Ive ever seen.

We have Austin Petersen, who ran for president under the Libertarian party, who is a total Never Trumper. We have Ben Shapiro, who is like the leading Never Trump voice, we have libertarian speakers such as Dave Rubin.
We want big names, people that draw attention, and you know what? Theres going to be a lot of contradictory statements. Were cool with that. Theres going to be Alex Epstein in a shirt that says I love fossil fuels and were going to have speakers talking about how conservatives should better embrace the idea of climate change. It shows that we as Turning Point we embrace conservatives, libertarians, people in the middle.
So why the need for an action summit when Trump won the election 13 months ago and conservatives control both houses of Congress?
Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)
The President has accomplished some absolutely historic things during this past year. Thank you Charlie Kirk of Turning Points USA. Sadly, the Fake Mainstream Media will NEVER talk about our accomplishments in their end of year reviews. We are compiling a long & beautiful list.

Ive found over the last couple of years how intolerant and dangerous college campuses have become for conservatives, Kirk said, citing a culture war he sees raging between left and right.
We find it unacceptable that students are kicked out of class for wearing Trump shirts or being ostracised for their beliefs. Were not going to accept the campus culture as it is. Were not going to play the victim card like we always accuse the left of doing. Were going to be saying, You know what? Yeah were under attack, lets punch back twice as hard.
Hastily, he added: Metaphorically, of course.
Fighting the PC police
On the floor, the opening night matched anything seen at a Trump campaign rally. Shouts of lock her up echoed whenever Hillary Clintons name was mentioned; there were chants of CNN sucks whenever anybody referenced the hated media. Prager, a conservative radio talkshow host and accomplished amateur conductor, warned the left was trying to hijack and kill off classical music. Trump Jr claimed it was now illegal in California to call a man with a beard sir if they identified as female.
One of the most popular themes of the night, if not the entire conference, was the perceived victimisation and persecution of conservative students and accompanying restrictions on free speech. It was a message reinforced by breakout sessions entitled Suing your school 101: knowing and defending the first amendment on campus and Fighting the PC police on your campus.

Trump Jr backed up Kirks claim of a culture war, with the nations colleges and universities as the battleground. You guys are on the frontlines, he said.
Greg Aselbekian, a 24-year-old studying business management at Nichols College, Massachusetts, said he had lost friends over his support for Trump.
I feel the whole country is even more divided, he said. You got the media, you got everybody telling you to vote for Hillary or vote Democrat, and the people who listen to them will not really listen to our side because they think the left side is the only way to be.
You have antifa destroying cities, youve got groups like Black Lives Matter and feminism just taking things way to a different level, all these marches and riots. Anyone whos white who voted for Trump is a white supremacist. Theres a price to pay when youre in favour of Trump or anything rightwing.
Joel Valdez, 18, a first-year political science major at the University of Illinois, said a campus incident in which a leftwing activist smashed his phone had only bolstered his resolve.
Im a Hispanic American and theyre calling me white supremacist, he said. After the election of Donald Trump the left was really shaken up. [But] the conservative message is going to resonate with people who felt left out by the Democrats.
Hannah Bickford, 21, a music student at Montana State University, was dressed in a Trump hat and college Republican shirt to signal her support for the president. She declared she was very happy with his performance so far.
Im here to network with people and hear from amazing speakers and people who share similar ideas, learn from each other and grow as a group of people, she said. Im open to anything, to listen and discuss.
You cant really learn unless youre open to new things.
