      It was a pleasant morning with a gentle breeze which took me a long walk with my friend Raju, we both recollect our sweet memories.Raju, he not only my friend he is my well wisher, he guided my life in many circumstances… Now, we both are successful entrepreneurs because of his guidance. It was my college 2nd year semester examinations time, that time there was no internet facilities like today, we should go to library and search for books, i went to the library and looking for the book written by my professor. I found that book it was in last shelves, when i went to get that book i saw my friend preparing for the exam, so i thought don’t want to disturb him. Finally, went to that book and when i took the book, realised that someone holding at the other corner of the book. At first, I looked out the fingers they were in pearl white and with mehandi which adds more beautiful. Then, i looked her eyes, they were browny with a stroke of kajal. It's Divya my classmate, she is a innocent girl sitting in the second bench, never mingle with the boys.. She left the book and went out from the library. I took that book and register till the examination, so that i don’t want to miss and then i searched for her. I know the importance about book, it will help her to get more marks in exam, she is sitting sadly under the neem tree. I went to her and asked “you really need this book” . She replied “yaa, i need to prepare for exam”. I asked “Shall we share this book, so that we will mutually benefited, and we can easily complete the topics” . She think for a while and said okay.. Her acceptance brings a huge U turn in both of our lives… We become so close, she shares not only my book also my happiness and sad….. Semesters begins we concentrate in studies, we both made group studies for other subjects. I cleared the exams easily because of her. I spend the my semester holidays with her. It gives me a new feeling, we both went many places and spended the holidays.. A year runs like a Hussain bolt. Final year exams got over and result camed. We both scored good marks and got our degree. We planned to continue our PG in same College. This time i planned for many places to spend time with her….. At some circumstances, we both fell in love with each others, life moves on…. I discussed with Raju about our love…he gives me advice about our responsibilities, he told me to do discussion about our future, and to start savings which will help our future… As per his advices, we made discussions this made us to feel our responsibilities and our families situations, our backgrounds are not so wealthy. We planned to work part-time jobs,after our college hours and make a savings.. Raju gave me an idea of investing in mutual funds, this will help us in future. From his advice, i met a Financial Advisor. He helped me to make investment in Mutual Funds We Started investing in MF as SIP (Systematic Investment Plan). First we find out our needs for periods of within a year, short term and long term.. And we both invested as per our needs, this made our lives more lovely and feels matured… After a period we got jobs, and increased our savings. Then we got married with the permission of both the families.. Then Me and Raju planned for our passive income. So, that it could give us the extra income. We planned to open a mansion for working men's.Income comes from the mansion are invested in Mutual Funds. It gives tax benefits and good returns. Life moves on, now me and Raju become a Successful entrepreneurs. We created our life, we created our wealth….. Our life is in our hand.We Should create our life.. Life is like a Clay, first plan, design and then execute….

Anon, firstly I want to welcome you to tumblr, this may be the best or worst decision of your life.

As for Haikyuu Writers, I have some friends who write some god tier fics and other blogs I follow who content just knocks it out the park 

@karasu-hoes​ : she has completed a kinktober event and I can safely say the smut is *chef kiss*. daisy is on hiatus at the moment but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t plenty of haikyuu goodness on her blog. (has done fluff and nsfw alphabets for some of our haikyuu cuties). Also very funny but a bit of a diva (love you lots daisy) 

@honey-makki: another sinner who writes the best smut (camboy kenma anyone??). kristen has plenty of haikyuu content to keep you entertained for hours, be it fluff,smut or angst it is all there waiting for you. (also kristen i am about to reblog the akaashi alphabet). Also a very nice mutual 

@crushzone: I could write a dissertation about why this blog is the hub for haikyuu. Thus far, I think Nin has just written smut with maybe one fluff but either way the quality of the work is just amazing (I feel like I am in a movie when I read your works- I recommend Blue Petal). She is also a very good artist and has done Haikyuu kinktober drawings, which are saucy to say the least. 

@dinosaurtsukki: Funniest Haikyuu blog out there, her hq buzzfeed unsolved headcanons are a hoot. Whilst this blog is on the more crack and humerous side it still makes it a very good read. I am always laughing knowing that Dino headcanons tanaka being passed out at a party or oikawa being a keen knitter. This blog is always full of susprises. 

@sugawara-sweetheart: One of the best haikyuu blogs out there, caters to all genres being it comfort (I remember requesting an emergancy period headcanons for ennoshita and oikawa and she did not diasppoint) to something perhaps a little darker in theme, in Neem’s candy shop it is all there. Also she posts content very frequently (sometimes I think she is nocturnal) so you will never go a day without seeing the haikyuu cuties. 

@sugardaddykenma: (you don’t actually know me but I love your blog). Another god tier blog, anything you can possible imagine to have a headcannon has one ( I don’t know if that made any sense). My personal faves are “HQ on the phone contact names for s/o” and their views on astrology. Of course there is a plethora of content on this blog so during lockdown you will never get bored because this person is always posting new content too. This blog is worth a follow, source: trust me bro

@mrs-kuroojinguji: (again hiya don’t know me too well but keep up the good work and that). This blog is so good at the haikyuu characterisation and it is very evidant through her writing that she really thinks about how each character will react to the situation. It is refreshing to see because as you know in the fandom there can be a lot of mischaracterisation. Some of my personal favourite works of hers was the Haikyuu characters deepest fears and her love language mini series. She just makes the characters feel so real. Also done kinktober and I believe she is the middle of fluffvember too.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Park-biseonim!” Y/N replies, throwing their hand up to wave briefly. They stop at the desk and peer down at Seoyoon. “How was your weekend?”

“Really good, actually,” she chirps with raised brows and blue-contacted eyes aglitter. She moves her hands off her keyboard to prop herself up on her forearms. “He finally kissed me!” she whispers excitedly.

Y/N’s mouth drops open in happy surprise. “It’s about time!” they say, matching Seoyoon’s excitement.

Seoyoon leans back in her swivel chair. “Right?! I still feel so good.”

Y/N smiles, bringing the black coffee tumbler in their hand to their lips.

“I even slipped some soju in my tea,” Seoyoon murmurs, raising her eyebrows again and jerking her head toward the dainty cup in front of her computer.

Y/N swallows their coffee hard and shoots Seoyoon a disappointed look with pursed lips. “Park-biseonim… You know alcohol isn’t allowed on premises,” they remind her softly, friend to friend.

Seoyoon exhales. “I know; I know… Just this one time?”

Y/N pauses, examining the secretary’s face. How could they alert their superior when the sweet girl was just so happy about her boyfriend finally kissing her?

“All riiight,” Y/N replies, turning toward the main doors leading into the office. “Only because of that kiss.”

They smile again before disappearing through the windowed double doors and making their way to their corner office on the far end of the floor. Y/N greets their coworkers, waving at those already submerged in their work and bowing to their superiors. Odd, they think, the entire executive board is here today. Something must be happening.

Y/N gets themselves situated at their modern Plexiglas desk, powering on their huge monitor and turning on lamps here and there. As soon as the computer hums to life, a loud two-toned chime goes off, signaling a high-importance email.

Smoothing out their slacks as they sit on their swivel chair, Y/N opens the email, which was sent to the entire editorial department. Something is happening, indeed.

In it, the department’s director had written:

Good morning, team:

Please meet in the conference room at 8 today to join me in welcoming a new employee to our department. I have important news to share, as well.

Y/N glances at the time on the computer: 7:57 AM. Yeet! they mentally screamed, shooting out of their chair and bee-lining for the conference room, situated between the editorial and creative departments.

Bursting through the large room’s white double doors, Y/N is greeted by a small symphony of good morning!s and annyeonghaseyo!s, and they bow their head to everyone while walking around to the last open chair at the corner of the rectangular table. Some coworkers have pads of paper in front of them; many have cups of steaming liquid; and others simply have their cell phones lying out. There’s one unfamiliar person sitting directly across Y/N in the other corner seat, though, looking like a stone with their elbows on the chair’s arms, hands clasped, and with nothing in front of them.

As soon as Y/N sits down and scoots in, they glance up to find this man already gazing at them.

Oh my God, they think.

The man across from them is young, around their age or older, and he looks like an Olympian god. Plentiful, chocolate-brown hair frames his intense, dark eyes, and his full lips are slightly pressed together in the tiniest of smirks. He’s wearing a crisp, white button-up with a skinny, dark purple tie. The lanyard holding a small placard hanging over it reads, Im Changkyun and beneath it, Jungyeok, Pyeonjibguk.

We have two directors now? Y/N thinks to themselves. Is that Choi-jungyeok’s big news?

Im Changkyun is still watching Y/N, and normally in a situation like this, they’d break eye contact. But something about this guy has started sucking them in, and the enigmatic glow of his eyes is not helping.

Jaeho causes both of them to snap out of it, though. “Okay, everybody, let’s get started.”

Jaeho is a fortysomething man, gray hair peeking through at his temples and his youthful face looking strangely alight today. He’s not normally this smiley, either. Standing at the head of the table, he clutches a large mug of fragrant coffee.

“You all got my email, evidently, so thank you all for being here and on-time. I mentioned that I have news, and I don’t intend to beat around the bush, so with that being said, I will be resigning as jungyeok, effective next Monday.”

A gaggle of gasps, what?!s, and nooo!s sounds from around the table.

“Order, order!” Jaeho dramatically raises his free hand like a judge, grinning at his joke. “I have been offered a wonderful opportunity on the other side of the city, and I spent a long time thinking it over, so this wasn’t an easy decision.”

He pauses to gulp some of his coffee, pocketing his other hand. “Many of you have already noticed the new face among us, and he’s here today to get acquainted with his new team, as he will be replacing me.”

Several of the surrounding executives collectively respond with an excited, “OH-ohhhhh.” No one seems really upset by this news, and even Im Changkyun has broken into a sheepish smile.

Y/N observes Mr. Im in the moment, noticing his sharp cheekbones and thick brows. His lips look the most tantalizing, totally full on the bottom with a perfectly curved Cupid’s bow above. They recognize a pair of silver hoops on his lobes, specifically from Cartier’s Love collection—ironically, the same design as Y/N’s gold ring on their thumb. Without realizing it, they emit a small hm in their amusement.

When Mr. Im glances at Y/N, they stiffen and immediately angle themselves toward Jaeho again.

“I have been training this employee both off-site and after-hours for the past week now because I, admittedly, wasn’t sure how you all would take the news. So I wanted to train him away from prying eyes,” Jaeho explains, occasionally looking down at the table. “For the next week, though, he’ll be in-house, sharing my office with me—’cause it’s really his now—and familiarizing himself with everyone as well as how you all work together. This is the last leg of onboarding for him and the last leg of Phenomenon Publishing for me. I’m very excited for both my and his future.”

Jaeho drinks more of his coffee and steps around his chair, pushing it in and resting his free hand on top. “I’d like everyone to get back to doing their magic now, and your new jungyeok will spend the day going around meeting everyone. Thanks, guys.”

And with that, Jaeho exits the conference room.

Everyone sits around for a moment, processing their director’s words, but more so trying to figure out if they should say something to Mr. Im, who’s still in the room.

Mr. Im speaks up, sitting upright in his chair. “Annyeonghaseyo, everyone. I want to make my introduction to you all a little more personal, so instead of doing it here and hiding with Choi-jungyeok the rest of the day, I’m going to spend a little time with each of you today. I don’t just want to know your name and role; I want to learn a little about you guys too because we’ll be working closely from now on. I hope to fill the jungyeok’s shoes, quite honestly,” he finishes with a deep chuckle.

Im Changkyun’s voice is like hot blood sliding down Y/N’s skin: unsettlingly appealing, deep, magnetic, and velvety. They gulp hard, fidgeting with their gold ring under the table as Mr. Im speaks.

Y/N’s coworkers rise from their seats, formally bowing to their new boss and making hush-hush conversation amongst themselves as they filter out of the brightly lit room. Y/N is the last to follow the crowd out, and as they send one last furtive glance toward Mr. Im while approaching the double doors, he turns to meet their curious eyes and raises an eyebrow.

Stunned at their unusually brazen behavior, Y/N nods politely before ducking out and speed-walking back to their office. They close the door a little too hard but only because they’re desperate to sit down and catch their breath.

What is happening to me, they think, drinking their own iced coffee.

Y/N spends the rest of their day immersed in their editing tasks, working diligently to keep their mind from dwelling on God himself and how heart-stopping-attractive he is, how entrancing his voice is. They respond to emails as normal, reference the same books as normal, listen to the same low-fi playlist as normal, field interns’ questions as they take turns knocking on Y/N’s door as normal, and they even spend their lunch hour in the cozy break room.

Im Changkyun is nowhere to be seen, and by the time 4 PM rolls around, the last hour of the workday, Y/N had calmed down. In fact, they’d had a spurt of productivity after lunch and were able to finish editing two of the larger manuscripts that’d been stressing them the past few weeks.

Y/N even debated taking off the last hour to quietly read at their desk instead of emailing the finished documents for Choi-jungyeok to skim over, as he gives final approval before the company convenes with the respective authors again. But that’s never been Y/N’s style, breaking rules. They were there to work—“do their magic,” as Jaeho had put it, and that’s how they’d spend the remainder of the day.

Wrong.

The all-glass door to their office swings open, and God himself walks in, plopping down in the small loveseat on the right side of Y/N’s desk.

“I saved you specifically for last,” he says, leaning back in the chair and freezing his eyes on Y/N’s.

They pause for a second before cannonballing into the unknown. “I figured.”

i forgot to mention yesterday that i wrote Azami’s intro scene, which was a strong contender for Excerpt Of The Day, and probably the only thing i didn’t hate from yesterday’s session as i’m really happy with how it immediately showcases Azami’s chaotic-ness. i might post the excerpt another time.

today i started a new job so my writing time was greatly diminished (sidenote–people working from home, how do you resist the temptation to write when you’re supposed to be working??!!) but with the help of some sprints i managed to get well past my goal for today!

it also helped that today’s scene was mostly banter, my strong suit 😌

Traveling off the grid is an incredible way to enjoy nature. The sights and scents of native plants and wildflowers are hard to ignore. But those scents also attract nature’s worst. Whether you’re hiking through woodlands or relaxing in your backyard, there’s no escaping those darn mosquitoes. And unlike human intruders and squatters, it’s tough to fence out these critters.

Hey Mosquitos, Why Me?

There’s no denying mosquitoes prefer to bite some people rather than others. Scientists think genetics, the skin’s surface, and a person’s unique body chemistry make some people mosquito magnets. Mosquitoes have an excellent sense of smell and are attracted to carbon dioxide — especially to people who release large amounts of it. When you’re hiking, playing or walking outdoors, the heat, and humidity activates the sweat glands. The skeeters get a whiff and then chomp down! 

These bloodsuckers are annoying and sometimes deadly. Most cities rank them as the worst insect pestbecause they spread viruses and diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, West Nile Virus, and Zika. Many commercial bug repellents contain Deet, a chemical that’s effective at masking humans’ presence from mosquitoes. While the Environmental Protection Agency has found it poses no risk under normal use, it does recommend you wash it off as soon as you come indoors.

Permethrin is another common repellent. It kills the mosquitoes but is also toxic to bees and fish. Cats can also be susceptible to permethrin. The EPA has listed permethrin as a carcinogenic, meaning it can cause cancer — but only if you eat it.

Natural Mosquito Repellents

If you are considering natural mosquito repellents as an alternative to the chemicals, you have several options:

Cinnamon Oil. This oil acts as an agent to kill mosquito eggs. It’s also effective against adult insects. Mix ¼ teaspoon (24 drops) of cinnamon oil into 4 ounces of water for a diluted solution. Spread evenly when spraying the spicy water on your skin and clothes.

Citronella. Oil of citronella is made from a combination of citronella plants and herbs and sold in many forms. It works by masking the scents that attract mosquitoes and other insects. Citronella plants are also excellent for keeping mosquitoes at bay. Plant them around the perimeter of your patio for a pest-free zone. Keep in mind, citronella is a repellent, not a bug killer.

Geraniol. This alcohol-based substance comes from plant secretions like lemongrass, citronella, and rose. It only works for two to four hours, so it’s best applied just before a hike. Geraniol may cause skin or eye irritation.

I finished reading the book Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. The best thing I liked about this book was that it was written really well. I did not get bored anywhere while reading and nowhere did he go very technical. He's managed to create a good image of Jobs. I'm proud of the fact that Hindu philosophy had an influence in his life. His single minded focus on products is commendable. So much has been written about his rude behaviour. I feel if he had practiced more of what he learnt from Neem Karoli Baba he could have overcome this aspect of his life also. 

I loved the part of the book after he comes to know of his cancer. It touched me. One couldn't have asked for a better farewell from earth: family by your side, a well documented story of your accomplishments, business in good hands, being aware of your death so that you could prepare for it and a final farewell speech from you even after your death. Wow!

I would love to know more about Steve Jobs from the perspective of those around him and especially from those whom he hurt the most.

I probably consider myself to be an environmentalist first. A plant-based diet just fit on it naturally, because is the most environmentally-friendly way to live.

Nowadays I’m vegan for many reasons, for the environment, for the animals and, for my health. All the choices I make in my life go in this line. Choosing a shampoo couldn’t be any different 💆🏻💚

For obvious reasons, starting to use a bar shampoo is the right way to go, but the problem is to know what to choose.

I hope that you will find this post useful. Because for me when I decided to swap for a bar shampoo it was quite hard to find information and to know what was good on the market.

From day one I didn’t need to use conditioner with this shampoo, what was great. The shampoo is made with great natural ingredients and the packaging is very environmentally friendly! The product arrived very quickly, was packaged well, no plastic involved, and the ingredients were all listed.

All Caroline’s products are handmade with locally foraged herbs and she uses predominantly organic ingredients.  Her products are based on herbal extracts, non-GMO, no artificial colorants or dyes, chemical free, no parabens, and no synthetic fragrances.

I’ve tried all the 3 different bar shampoos they have. The one with Lavender and Geranium,  the one with Lavender and Tea Tree and the Travel Soap, that contains lemongrass, lavender, tea tree and peppermint.

They all smell amazingly and I found the performance between the three quite similar on my hair, my favorite in terms of essence was the Travel Soap.

Plus I found the travel soup’s idea quite clever because it’s formulated to be antiseptic, anti-fungal and insect repellent. You can’t really ask for more when traveling, can you?

All 3 shampoos lathered up super easily (actually its quite impressive for a natural shampoo), and rinsed well.  I didn’t need to use conditioner (only an acidic (ACV) rinse twice a week).

During the first week I had to wash my hair every day because was super oily and greasy, but now I can go 3-4 days without washing my hair. It worked better for me to cut the bars in half, to have more hand-sized pieces.

The Friendly soap bars are the ones with the best value for money, between all the bars I’ve tried. The product arrived very quickly, was packaged well on a paper box so no plastic involved. The individual paper boxes contain the list of all ingredients.

Friendly soap is a company from West Yorkshire (UK) with a strong connection to nature, so their products have little impact on nature and health as possible. Every bar is poured, cut, stamped and packed by hand. 

They don’t use any animal products or by-products. They only use naturally biodegradable ingredients, plant-based oils, essential oils, flowers, spices and herbs and buy fair-trade ingredients.

I’ve tried the Rosemary and Lemongrass bar shampoo and it worked quite well on my hair.

During the first month, my hair was quite sticky. After that, I felt a boost on my hairs health. The Shampoo is extremely moisturizing yet lightweight and cleans well. The essence it’s also amazing, it smells lovely but doesn’t foam much.

I do an ACV rinse twice a week when I’m using this shampoo to help de-tangle and to add softness.

The product arrived quickly, on a lovely package, with a personalized letter and small note with instruction and the list ingredients. It was lovely to receive something so thoughtful. Because of the presentation this bar shampoo is great to offer as a gift.

I just loved the shape of this bar shampoo, much easier to hold and apply than the regular rectangular ones, really fits right into your palm.

The Pure Chimp only sells 1 type of shampoo, or you like this one or you don’t. One of its pros is the fact that only has literally 5 ingredients. Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Beer, Banana Extract, what for a shampoo is pretty amazing.

The smell reminded me of a banana bubble-gum that I used to eat when I was a child, not really a fan of the smell, but it’s imperceptible on the hair when rinsed. So not really a problem. The shampoo is incredibly easy to lather and rinsing was not an issue. During the first couple of washes my hair was a bit heavier than normal like it had wax, but naturally, after a couple of weeks that sensation reduced and my hair started to get soft and looked healthy and clean.

The product arrived very quickly, was wrapped in recyclable black pepper, with a sticker listing all the ingredients.

Pure Chimp products are all 100% natural and vegan-friendly, plus they give 5% of their profits to charity. They are a small company from Huntingdon, UK.

After a short adaptation period, of about a week, where my hair didn’t look really happy (neither I 😅),  I can go now for about 3 days before my hair needs to be washed again. So far I didn’t need to use conditioner with this shampoo. I only do an ACV rinse once/twice a week and my hair is very smooth. I’m really happy with the results.

This bar shampoo foams really well what helps to massage your scalp.

I cut the soap into 4 pieces to get the most out of it. The lather is amazing, and my hair feels soft and smells great. My partner also loved this shampoo.

The product arrived very quickly, involved in a strip of recycled paper which can be composted with all the ingredients listed and a note inside with instructions, hits, and tips.

Wild Sage is a small family-run business hand crafting cold processed soaps and skin-loving balms from natural ingredients, from their cottage in the Herefordshire countryside. “Simple, honest and good”.

The bar shampoo I’ve tried was the Soak And Float, and as everything on the Lush shop this product is quite appealing visually and the smell is absolutely delicious. The size is perfect and easy to hold and use.

The Soak And Float shampoo is specific for dandruff/itchy scalp. But they have more than a dozen solid shampoos to choose from.  

This shampoo gives a deep cleanse, from the very first wash. My hair felt healthy, light and bouncy. 

This was the only bar shampoo that my hair accepted from day one. So I didn’t go through the adjustment period like I did with the other ones.

The shampoo foams so much more than any other bar shampoo I’ve used and has a good smelling lather. My experience with this shampoo was more than positive I only think that is a shame that they use SLS on their shampoos.

The product arrived very quickly, inside a colorful paper bag with a sticker with all the ingredients listed.

Lush is a cosmetics retailer headquartered in Poole, UK; they sell creams, soaps, shampoos, moisturizers, scrubs, masks and other cosmetics using vegetarian or vegan recipes, and use parabens to preserve their products.

Which one to go for?

It is a matter of taste and type of hair. All the ones mentioned here are really good!!

So look for one that can be adapted to your hair, and persist if the shampoo doesn’t agree with you straight away, it will be worth it.

Keep in mind that bar shampoos do not strip hair in the same way as detergent-based shampoos so its normal that your hair will feel different to the touch after washing.

I found that shampoo bars worked well on my hair after the adaptation period. Although my partner had a different experience. His hair didn’t require any adaptation and was really easy for him to switch to a shampoo bar. That made me so mad and super jealous😅.

Personally, after using the bar shampoos I’m not using conditioner, what I used to use after every hair wash. The nourishing butters and oils that the bars have worked really well for me. So far they have been enough to keep my hair smooth and healthy.

There is usually an adjustment period of about 1 month on chemically treated hair when using natural products.  So if your hair doesn’t look great after the first wash that’s normal, just keep persisting.

Shampoo bars may not perform as well in hard water. So it may be worth to try an apple cider vinegar rinse (ACV).

If you still think after a while that the bar shampoo is not agreeing with your hair,  you are probably not using the right one for your hair. The true is everyone’s hair and scalp are unique so try different samples, until you find the one that is perfect for you.

What I’ve learned

Apparently, my hair is very picky. Almost all shampoos left residue on my hair and caused oiliness. I really had to keep trying until my hair and scalp got used to it.

I blame the water (hihi 😝) from where I live that is just too hard to handle natural shampoo 😆

Although I was able to make the change and I couldn’t be happier with that.

No more harsh chemicals, no more plastic bottles, zero effect on the environment. Yupy 🎉
