Your points on the dry humor argument are spot on, I feel like even the delivery of his dry jokes are SO DRY that they don't even come across as humorous. Eddie can a little snide and snarky "But his wedding is about you?" "Can't imagine why?" the difference is Eddie knows Buck, and knows when and how to build him up, and when it's okay to mess with him and crack a joke. Like you can say dry humor all day long but if what you're saying doesn't come across as funny but just comes across as negative or dismissive, it doesn't matter that it's your style of humor and you thought it funny. It reminds me of people who say mean things and then say "I'm not being mean I'm being honest"
Yeah, the whole argument feels a lot like "I'm not being mean I'm just being honest" but I think a lot of the comparison with Eddie falls flat because Buck and Eddie have an emotional connection and the timing of the delivery of the Eddie ones, I think the first one I can think of (and the only one I think can be seen as even remotely equivalent because even ignoring the shipping aspect of buddie, they are best friends and comparing the kink joke to the wedding one for instance doesn't work because Buck has know T for what? A few weeks? But Buck and Eddie have a close relationship for years, Buck knows Eddie is messing with him the same way the audience knows it because we have been witnessing it for a while, so we need to pick something that happens in s2) is during the earthquake when Buck is rambling facts about security measures implemented to keep kids safe during a quake and Eddie does his little "I thought that was a high rise" because, yes, Eddie is throwing a dry joke into an otherwise serious situation and it could be painted as dismissive in the wrong circumstances, but we saw Buck and Eddie having a conversation before that clued us into Eddie's state of mind and Eddie is doing that by saying a stat Buck has mentioned before but not specifically to Eddie, so it also gives the context that while Eddie is, by all intents and purposes, making fun of Buck, he's doing so by showing he pays attention to what Buck says, enough of it that he's actually retaining it. And that's the thing the delivery of the kink joke fails in. Since we were not shown a lot of emotional understanding between Buck and T, it is hard to look at the way it happened and not interpret it as dismissive. It changed the tone of the scene in a very weird way and we don't have enough on bt to understand that as part of the way they communicate because we haven't seen them communicate at all, so we don't have a baseline, so it feels weird to have that established as the baseline instead.

The thing I like about Ciel and Sebastian's dynamic is that it's complicated and I think just trying to see it as a father and son or a romantic relationship kind of takes that away?? If that makes sense

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.
LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.
Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.

It's honestly crazy that discussion around testosterone HRT skews so much towards the beginning stages of it (to the point that you have dozens of guys thinking their transition is "failed" if they don't pass by like a year in lol) and what the initial changes of the first couple of months to years look like, like the classic laundry list of those early basic changes like bottom growth, voice drop, etc, when IMO literally none of that compares remotely to the depth and intensity of the long term total masculinization you start to experience like 3-5+ years in.

the men and boys are innocent too.
we cry "the innocent women and children" to appeal to the masses, to try and force their sympathy, but the men and boys are innocent too.
I have seen sons crying out for their mothers, their fathers, their siblings. I have seen them break down at the loss of their families. I have seen them cling to their dead and grieve.
I have seen fathers cradle their dead children, seen them kiss their faces and hold their little hands. I have seen them faint with grief when asked to identify the dead. I have seen them carry their sons and daughters. I have seen them fasting to provide what little they can for their families.
I have seen men and boys digging through the rubble with just their bare hands, I have seen them comforting strangers, playing with children, rocking them, hushing them, even if the face of such imminent danger. I have seen them cry, seen them grieve, seen them break down into each other's arms, seen them be selfless, beyond selfless, becoming something I don't have a word for.
I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings. I have seen fathers who have lost all their children pick orphans up into their arms and proclaim them their child so they are not alone. I have seen men and boys digging pets out of the rubble.
the men are innocent too. the men and boys are being hurt and killed too. the men and boys are grieving too. the men and boys are scared too. the men and boys are fighting to save their people too. the men and boys deserve to be fought for too.

the amount of ways we have to qualify the geoncide in gaza in order to get people to care is actually sickening to me. “it’s a feminist issue!” “it’s a disabilities issue!” “it’s an environmental issue!” like i’m sorry but even if this was happening solely to able bodied men and was causing no harm to the environment, it would still be wrong because it’s a genocide and these people are being bombed and killed and starved every fucking day. you shouldn’t need an extra label to give you a reason to care about people that are dying.

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.
to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:
kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him
