It’s kinda ironic that legend of the sea devils was heavily rumoured to have been cut to pieces (it had a run time of 50 minutes for a special.... did they really think we’d not notice specials are normally an hour and a half long???) specifically to appease international markets who were unimpressed with it bc i’ve spent Years watching people excuse execs cutting any and all queerness from the media so they can air it abroad and lo and behold, the Only plot in this episode that was consistent and not butchered was the gay one.
