How often do they sleep together?

Not very often at first, what with them being two awkward lil weirdos, but eventually it just makes more sense to only have to put up one tent instead of two. With Elle's insomnia and mandatory watches, they still aren't actually getting much sleep at the same time unless they're somewhere where they have four walls and a bed, and then they might actually manage to sleep the better part of the night. After the Battle of Denerim, it becomes much more frequent.

Where do they sleep?

Almost exclusively bedrolls at first. Luxurious. They have no shame about sharing the royal suite once in Denerim. I like to imagine the servants in the castle find a little relief in seeing their new king happily in love after everything the country just went through, especially once heirs come along.

How do they prepare to sleep?

There's typically little fanfare; on the road they take what they can get. Elle has a habit of reading herself to sleep from her Circle days that she takes back up once settled in Denerim as she's usually the first to retire to their rooms. Once Alistair gets there, he usually unwinds by telling her all the ridiculous things he's dealt with that day. Sometimes that continues into the bath, depending on the day he's had. A hot bath helps them both relax before bed and there's a rule to not take their work with them into the actual bed--the bed is the one place they get to pretend they are just two normal people living a completely normal life.

What do they wear to sleep?

On the road they got used to sleeping partially clothed in case of emergency. Hopefully they get down to linens before they pass out. On good days, smalls. On bad days, they figure out how to make it work in armor. If you're tired enough, you can fall asleep in anything.

In Denerim they have paid their dues. Alistair sleeps in the Thedas equivalent of very fancy sweatpants. Elle has robes and night gowns. There's a 50/50 chance the clothes last or not.

Do they cuddle?

Alistair is a big cuddler. It helps to keep her trapped in bed and combat her insomnia.

What are their preferred sleep positions?

Mostly Elle on her back and Alistair wrapped around her in some fashion. Side sleeping and spooning became more common in Denerim when pregnancy made it more of a necessity. Alistair loves to be the little spoon when he can.

How easy do they fall asleep?

Alistair learned how to fall asleep fast and even after, in Denerim, he's able to push everything aside and pass out. He even doesn't mind if she lights a candle to read. Elle slowly gets better about sleeping but at the beginning she sometimes just dozes.

Do they toss and turn a lot?

Blissfully, neither move a lot (even if Elle can't sleep). But Elle knows Alistair is having a bad night if he does. They happen, thankfully less and less.

Do they snore?

They've been known to sleep so hard they snore, mostly Alistair.

Who hogs the blanket?

They tend to cocoon themselves quite a bit. Elle runs cold, Alistair keeps her warm.

What do they dream about?

On the road, Alistair has the standard Grey Warden nightmares mixed with "everyone I care about dies" nightmares. Those ease post-Denerim, but sometimes he still has nightmares about it all. If asked he'll joke and say it was just another of those "show up on the throne naked" types of nightmares. He usually doesn't remember his dreams but he has fun making up things.

Elle is a vivid dreamer, which led to her insomnia. She dreams mostly of memories - her childhood, the Circle, their time on the road. Particularly vivid dreams involve her time in the Fade. In her nightmares she can't summon her magic or save people. Sometimes she's stuck in the Fade and can't find her way out. Time and stability help to mellow those out.

How easily do they wake up?

They both wake up very easily, at first from being on the road and eventually because they prefer not to be caught unaware by servants.

How awake they are afterwards?

Give them a breath and a few blinks and they're good to go, though they may not always be happy about it.

How often do they sleep together?

After Redcliffe they enjoy one night before the mages start to pour in and Eve shares her cabin. But then after Haven, when she almost dies, he's in her tent every night because he needs to see and hear her breathing to even think about relaxing. In Skyhold it takes a couple of weeks to get things fixed up and settled but if they're in the same place they're sleeping together.

Where do they sleep?

Eve's (ridiculously) ginormous bedroom, if they're in Skyhold. I envision there being an old servant's entrance that isn't totally safe but is manageable and they're the only two people who use it. Staff knows that if the sun is down, her room is off limits unless the world is ending.

If they aren't in Skyhold, they will typically default to bedrolls. Less noisy than cots, and more durable.

How do they prepare to sleep?

There's a routine with Cullen's armor to maintain it properly that helps him at least start to wind down. A cup of tea while reading a few more reports. They make a list of things that need to get done the next day to help unburden their minds. If one is particularly busy, work is allowed in bed so the other can go ahead and rest. Neither like to be in bed alone.

What do they wear to sleep?

Typically just smallclothes, if anything.

Do they cuddle?

Cuddling is essential. Even if it's just holding hands across cots, they need the solid presence of the other to feel comfortable.

What are their preferred sleep positions?

Tangled. They don't tend to have a regular sleep position so much as the tendency to end up in a knot. The weight of one another's limbs, the warmth--those are the most essential parts.

How easy do they fall asleep?

It takes them both a bit to fully relax and succumb. Together it's faster but still takes time.

Do they toss and turn a lot?

When not together they're very restless sleepers, but together they settle one another down. There's still a lot of sleep twitching, though. Even together they still have demons to fight in their sleep.

Do they snore?

I don't think either of them ever sleeps deeply enough to snore; they're both light sleepers.

Who hogs the blanket?

They both tend to kick the covers off through the night.

What do they dream about?

What don't they dream about? Cullen's dreams tend toward nightmares--the past, his fears, his endless to-do list. His more pleasant dreams involve his family. The best nights are when he doesn't dream at all, which sometimes is accomplished through magic when his nightmares wake up Eve.

She has a pretty even split of dream and nightmare. Dreams tend to involve whimsy and the future; nightmares the past, particularly the Ostwick rebellion, Envy demon, and future she experienced in Redcliffe. If her nightmares wake him up he has permission to wake her from them.

How easily do they wake up?

So easily; they can wake just from the other muttering in their sleep. For a while their nights mostly consist of waking one another from nightmares. Sometimes they go right back to sleep, others they take advantage of both being awake.

How awake they are afterwards?

They are both immediately ready to go upon waking unless it was a particularly bad nightmare, and then they might need a minute. In a situation they can compartmentalize and jump right into action. Over time it improves marginally.

The After

Favourite: Koin Hatoyama. I absoulately adore this guy as he's basically the lovechild of Himiko and Kokichi, being a magician who insists they have real magic where its all stage and illusionary play, while also being a chaotic gremlin who can cause chaos. Unlike Kokichi though, Koin can read the room and knows where something goes too far so his pranks and jokes never go too far and when they do, he immediately apologises. His interactions with Tachihaki are comedy gold and its such a blast to see these two together. I am deeply concerned he might be the BS Chapter 3 culprit but well...I will save my thoughts when eventually I do my The After Chapter 3 Daily Life write up.

Least Favourite: Ryohei Seki. Anyone who knows me knows that this guy is my least favourite Danganronpa character heck maybe one of my most loathed fictional characters PERIOD. Honestly this guy just pisses me off in so many different ways. The fact he's a poor man's Tsurugi. The fact he's a poor man's DAVID CHIEM, and basically tried to execute Tachihaki for not only very shallow reasons but the truth is the person he's "avenging" would probably hate Ryohei big time for doing it. Also how he treated Mitaru was pure disgusting as he used her like a damn tool and she paid the price for it. But what has put him firmly on my shit list, is he seems to be on a fast track to be the non-mastermind character from a fangan that is actually good to have the highest Killing Game Kill Count. We are on Chapter 3 and his kill count is on FOUR PEOPLE, and this number is set to go even higher.

Heck he's even responsible for why SDRA2 Chapter 4 went the way it did because there's no way LINUJ didn't watch The After's Chapter 2, thought Ryohei was doing a Nikei and decided to change things at the last second for fears of being seen of ripping it off. Thus the person who killed Nikei Yomiuri wasn't Sora, it wasn't Mikado, it wasn't anyone from the Another series, its this fucking justice obsessed cyncophobic fucktard. And had there been The After sprites pubically available well...he would be put through hell.

Which given how you guys know I don't mess around when it comes to punishments should be something you should be very afraid of.

Project Eden's Garden

Favourite: Ulysses Wilhelm. This guy is my fucking spirit animal and I'm all here for it, since a lot of people don't know but I'm a bit of a history nerd myself, plus I also relate big time for not having the best sleep schedule, this is why Pokemon Sleep is required so I can actually have more then 3 hours of sleep. I also feel like he knows a lot about Native American history, which could be why he and Wenona get along so well. Plus the fact he's a obessive note taker is vital for solving the class trails.

Of course I do not expect him to survive as he will die so the cast lose that vital intel, probably a Chapter 3 death and then I spend 600 hours dying to the culprit since that AA is the game from hell.

Least Favourite: Kai Monteago. I do not like influencers, I feel like they are a major reason why naraccism and cruelity are so rewarded in society as they alongside billionares is why in real life good does not win and evil doesn't always lose, in fact evil often gets away and dies peacefully whilest good people suffer and die. And Kai does NOT help the sterotypes as he's whinny, annoying and always having something nasty to say. What grinds my gears the most is the fact we spend more time then I would like in Chapter 1 with him and there's strong evidence to support he's gonna be our support character, which if he is kill me now.

Especially since it means he either dies in Chapter 5 or he's the fucker who will cost me the entire week to defeat since he goes full Queen Larsa and spams a million bullets of death at me. Now I HAVE heard that he is better in the FTEs and I am being too harsh on him, so who knows Kai mmight have the Mahiru problem where his redeeming qualities are locked to FTEs but the main story doesn't do him justice, but as of now he's the character I like the least.

Tetro Pink

Favourite: Mai Hayashi. The 2nd best Mai in existence of course she's not the best Mai since well kitten Mai always beats her out even when she confirms to the British sterotypes. Jokes aside Mai has always been such a boss as she's mostly been the most sane and rational person within the Killing Game, making the best decisions and stopping a lot of stupid shit that would have run its course in a normal Killing Game. Of course she isn't perfect as she had a servere lapse of judgement in Chapter 3, plus she has her own trauma about being kidnapped which I'm amazed how casual she takes the whole thing.

What I am really surprised about is her dynamic with Yanagi, now if you recall I didn't like this guy at all due to how much of a simp he is and he really needs to grow a backbone. Well, I can safetly say that the following chapters after I made that post did him serious justice as we know the context for why he's a simp and how much heartbreak he's been through, how he falls for Mai not because she's a woman, but because she's been there for him, and his frenemy relation with Hiroaki is very interesting. Obviously we all know either Mai or Yanagi are dying in Chapter 5 since there is no way these two are gonna make it out since its Maki and Kaito all over again, but the question is, who is dying?

Least Favourite: Biology Head AKA Kan Toranosuke. Probably the ONLY time I will ever say that fucktard's name but I often openly question why this guy even exists since well the Masterminds are horrible people, but I feel he was made specifically to be the most hateable bastard in existence. Like its not enough he's a sadistic monster who loves torturing others, he also happens to be every bigot you could think of, which I feel is completely unnecessary like this guy is already a piece of shit, why do we need to make him sexist, racist, ableist etc? The worst part? He's gonna completely get away with everything he does since a) Tetro Pink is Part 1 of a trilogy and b) I am seeing worrying signs the Tetro franchise isn't gonna have happy endings.

Well Biology Head I will say this...you might be able to cheat the system in universe and get away with your crimes there... but nobody escapes from me. NOBODY. Heck the fact I refuse to address him by his name speaks volumes since he's lost name privilages.

Thank you so much for the tag @fenrelmercar this one was definitely a challenge. I'm just gonna copy your whole format, if you don't mind. Look, unpreparedness kills more people than a blade ever does, and she knows it. Every (living) Crow does. That's why she takes comfort in knowing she has more of certain pieces (mostly boots, because at this point, functioning without proper shoes feels impossible) than strictly necessary. Which is also why they're out in the open, not tucked away in her wardrobe – that one's already full.

A gift from Viago, given shortly after his first visit to the Lighthouse. He probably intended it to be used properly, not just displayed, but gifts from him are so rare that there's no way Calypso would risk it. No one is allowed to touch it. Seriously, just don't.

There are simpler ones, fancier ones, some made of silver, others of gold; all gifts from Teia, as subtle attempts to nudge her into wearing her hair more safely. Sometimes, when Calypso knows their paths will cross, she uses one. Otherwise, they remain untouched. They sit beside the crystal pitcher, just as Teia stands beside Viago.

Wolf bookends

One of them has actually lost its head, but that somehow only made it more appealing to her, for… reasons. The other is a bit worse for wear, having been defaced with ink drawings by her own hand (mostly of penises), but they still serve their purpose. She doesn't own many books: The Tale of the Champion (signed!), a few about history, and whatever the book club is currently reading, though she's always behind on that.

A gift from Varric, never used. At first, it was simple forgetfulness, but now… now they'll never be used, just to keep them in pristine condition.

Of course we all get that not every fictional couple can make it - rational beings as we are 😉 - but sometimes their 'not making it' does feel sad, bitter or unacceptable, leaving us with nothing other than "what could have been..."

Sooo let's take a moment and honor those ships for once (and/or yell at their creators a little - lol)!

Funny thing: I didn't even like Dani that much before she met Gigi. But from the moment they did, they were just... ALL this show was about. Until these idiot writers had to f*ck it up the second they got together for NO apparent reason. Which leaves me forever bitter about them, and The L Word: Gen Q.

Knowing Midori wanted to leave Grey's Anatomy I was highly aware that getting invested in Mika and Jules was a very bad idea, but as it turned out they'd already won me over by then. Being both (super) sweet & caring and fun & hot, they really had the potential to be Grey's ultimate couple since.... Calzona maybe?! At least it's Grey's, a show that doesn't know how to end and eventually brings everyone back! 🤡😜

In all those years of The Walking Dead I never pictured "lone wolf" Daryl with anyone... until he met Connie. From the moment they started to bond, I could actually see them together. Even more, I wanted it, for him especially. And with an actual series finale, the writers could have easily made it happen. Instead Daryl got his spin-off in France and Connie - apparently - didn't fit that script. Sigh...

Talking about deserving someone: boy, did I feel for Bea, struggling the way she did with herself and her love for Ava. Getting this close after all, only to lose her the way she did... so cruel! The cancellation that followed made things even worse, taking away any chance for them. Unfair has a name, it's Warrior Nun.

Also due to another cancelation, the Bienvenidos á Eden one, they left Bel and Zoa on an almost literal cliffhanger... and us with empty hands. While for reasons that didn't had much to do with the plot (I do admit), I def wasn't done with them! #NotAmused

What can I say? I think anyone who was only slightly invested in HIMYM's Robin & Barney felt robbed by that series finale. I was def no exception.

I'm in no way saying they hurt me with this, but every time I remember that Glee's Quinn and Santana hooked up, I do smile and wonder what could have been. Don't @ me but I might have preferred them over Brittana (at least for a while) and would have loved to see more of them then just that one episode.

Okay back to more serious: what the HELL happened to Max and Helen?! Again I can handle break-ups, they are part of romance and fiction, but theirs didn't make any sense and came with some real character assassination. Pretty unforgivable and - to me - kind of the end of New Amsterdam, which was, in the end, built from the start around these two.

Last but not least: Clarke and Lexa. Seemingly predictable. But no, I'm not mad that they killed off Lexa (I know I'm only one of a few, but I actually got that part, even though I hated the non-heroic way it happened)... I just really hate that it had to happen right after them finding each other. With that, they really took something from them... and us. The chance to actually see them, experience them as a couple. Even if it had been for half a season, a few episodes for that matter. But we got nothing. Nothing! (...nothing 🥺)

Sorry that it's gonna sound somewhat unhinged, but I got lost in your tags about the identity of the Chaldean and in an old post you mentioned that the japanese fans of Romani/Goetia on twitter were pointing out how the Chaldean behaves contradictory not in a sense of "Goetia playing Romani" but as someone who playing he’s both. Do you have any direct examples? Is this something that comes across in japanese but gets lost in english due to the language barrier? Again, I know I'm dredging out year old posts so I expect providing concrete examples will not be easy, but if there's a chance then I can at least ask ^^

Unfortunately the post I was referring to was made years ago. It's a kind of difficult to grab it.

That's their wording of how it feels contradictory (the Morgan scene in particular, because Chaldean said a line from Roman without using quotation as he did when he was pretending to be Roman in Atlantis; afaik is the one about following his human limitations which what Roman said once; also his speech is a lot more casual than Goetia's - his convo with Musashi in her flashback for example), I don't necessarily agree with it. To me, it's like how he doesn't act like either but he's written in a way to make people believe he's Goetia because they don't remember stuff about Goetia other than being intense and stern. Goetia's completely honest with his feelings (when he has self-awareness). He never 'pretended' not to care about Mash, for example, or Guda. He tried very hard to get Mash's acceptance, and was very descriptive of his feelings for Guda. Flauros was the one who specifically behaved 'tsun'.

The only time he was dishonest was with Solomon because he was misunderstanding him, and maybe processing grief (hate comes from love was a very important theme in part 1).

I think a lot of us were banking on Chaldean be Goetia/Solomon/Lev earlier on, but after Koyanskaya ("isekai Tamamo") and BB Dubai ("isekai BB"), it's more likely he's just... a version of Goetia/Solomon/Roman (Goetia still shares his spiritual origin, like Kingu is part of Enkidu) of...another world. BB Dubai and Koyan also got redherrings they were the BB we know possessed (Kazura-in-BB-body!) and Daji, but ended up being completely different and the mystery was to find out their real background. So personally think this is the direction of Chaldean.

That said...it's completely possible that, like BB Dubai, if he's playable, two of his ascension will be regular Solomon and another Goetia. If anything is gatekeeping their release is this plot.

What matters the most isn't who he is but what he stands for: he's literally... Romani Alter, Whatever is his origin, that's basically his role. Gold eyes, black instead of green on his coat, edgier. That's why is important to confront later for Guda (Mash has to do this with Galahad) because they carry Romani's will.

NSFW and 18+ content is risky. Goes without saying for most social media, but "spicy" art kinda went through a Purge here. However fanfic is welcome! (See point 2)

Staff is not that serious. There's a semi running joke about them. Honestly just don't be a raging asshole and you'll be fine.

THERE IS NO ALGORITHM. Follow people whose content you like to keep seeing it. Works kinda like TikTok sorta ig. Instead of an FYP it is called your Dash or Dashboard. You see the content to reblog or follow. Do this by engaging with the app and seacjing for tags you like. On that note...

Don't like something? BLOCK IT. There is no reason to hate on something you don't like or that isn't for you. Again, no algorithm so if you cone across tags you don't jive with, block it.

There is no reason to censor yourself. The lingo and language used over on other apps doesn't translate here well. Plus, as above, it makes it harder for ppl to block things. A good example would be "unalive" and "sewer slide" just add in the actual words in tags or if you'd like have huge/attention grabbing (colored, folded, etc) text near the top of your posts so ppl can get what they want and leave what they don't.

Side blogs are awesome. Don't feel like cluttering up all your content on 1 blog? Make another! Keep art on one and knitting on another! Or whatever you like! People have side blogs all over the place!

Be open. Things have changed for you all just joining us, but some of us have been here a LONG time. (Ex: Started this blog in 2014 I think) Some of us are even now just coming back after not using this site in YEARS. There will be jokes you don't get, lingo and stories you may not understand. But give it enough time and I think you may end up liking this funny little dumpster fire of a site that's been around on this corner of the app store and internet for a while.

Your two choices seem to be do it this way as demonstrated by canon and bring everyone back after five years have passed. Or (and I'm ignoring the inconsistent power levels of individual stones for now) you reverse the snap entirely, by that I mean you reverse back five years too, in which case you're erasing lots of presumably wanted children, bringing back people who died of natural causes after the snap etc.

BOTH THESE OPTIONS SUCK. That does have a profound impact on everyone in-universe. Either way you are effectively killing people, destroying relationships established during the blip, causing many people to have an identity crisis.

@supervillainarchaeologist Of these two options, I feel like rewinding the last five years so it's like they never happened for everyone save for those in the "eye of the storm" would be the least bad option. That's actually what Doctor Who did for "Last of the Time Lords" when it came to undoing the year the Master spent ruling over a conquered Earth. The Doctor and companions destroyed the Master's Paradox machine, and time rewound to the moment it activated. For everyone except those on the Valiant, the Master's flying airship, the events of that year never happened and were known as "The Year That Never Was".

They could've done the same thing here when reversing the Snap. Rather than give in to Tony's demands, Bruce should've just performed a Snap to rewind the last five and a half years and make it so it's like they never happened.

When Bruce snaps, his snap completely reverses time. For the entire universe, time rewinds 5.5 years to about 5-10 minutes before Thanos performs the Snap. (The only place where time doesn't rewind is this area within a five mile radius of the Avengers Compound, due to being the equivalent to the "eye of the storm" that the Valiant is; this is also so that it's still possible for 2014 Nebula to bring 2014 Thanos and his army forward and we can still get a final battle.) This brings back everyone Thanos killed with the Snap; both those who were dusted and those killed by the immediate after-effects.

The dusted heroes are resurrected already having a set of memories for the ten minutes that have already happened for them. Natasha also ends up being resurrected in the process since she was fighting in the Battle of Wakanda (but due to timey wimey stuff, has memories of everything that happened up through her death on Vormir). So this means, for instance, Wanda is resurrected remembering blowing up the Mind Stone and destroying Vision, as well as Thanos using the Time Stone to undo this and then kill Vision himself. With this memory of what happens, Wanda decides to take a different approach in the do-over. Rather than try to destroy the Mind Stone while holding Thanos off, she and Vision decide to tag-team Thanos. They proceed to kill 2018 Thanos and pry the gauntlet from his body.

While Wanda and Vision are killing 2018 Thanos, 2014 Thanos carpet-bombs and destroys the Avengers Compound, and engages in battle with Tony, Thor, and Steve. Then, moments later, Doctor Strange and co. create the wall of portals to bring all the heroes over from Wakanda to upstate New York, as well as the survivors from Thanos' attack on the Statesman (led by Valkyrie, Korg and Miek) and the Ravagers. The battle then plays out largely the same as in canon.

There's really two sides to the coin of addressing the Blip. You could go into depth about who was dusted and who was spared, as you have an excellent source of worldbuilding for future stories in much the same way that Loki's invasion of New York provided excellent foundation for worldbuilding that affected every Phase 2 movie (aside from Guardians of the Galaxy), Agents of SHIELD, and the Netflix shows.

The downside is, however, that these would be pretty depressing stories. If MCU stories had to tackle the issue of the Blip and play it seriously, two things would happen:

Even taking into account the presence of superheroes, aliens, wizards, and whatnot, the world of the MCU would largely cease to resemble our own.

All MCU media afterwards would have to focus on the Blip fallout, and it'd come at the expense of other stories the creators might be interested in telling. Such media would, as I said, be pretty bleak and depressing.

That's how you get the disconnect that comes with stories like Spider-Man: Far From Home, in which Jon Watts wanted to tell a lighthearted and comedic movie about a teenage superhero and his friends who encounter a supervillain while on a trip abroad to Europe. Thing is, this lighthearted story would be difficult to do if they were trying to pull that off while also paying serious thought to the fact that these kids are living in the recent aftermath of the greatest ever recorded genocide in history.

The thing is that the most interesting and novel invention of the MCU is a universe where billions of people turned into dust and then were physically reconstituted on the spot five years later, in a world that had just barely adapted to their absence.

That is wild. That is intense! That is a series of pathos-ridden emotionally complex doorstoppers waiting to happen. Half the entire world! All dead! And somehow we coped with that! And now we have to cope with them all being back?

A whole street of empty houses--surely not everyone there became ash. Some of them moved to better places, now opened by the mass mortality. Some of them died afterward. Who will live there now? Even if inheritances are reversed by resurrection, surely leases aren't renewed. What the fuck happens to everyone who remarried?

What happens to the children snapped back to a world where their parents didn't survive, or the reverse?

But they had to then hastily smooth over this utterly batshit sci-fi premise and get the world mostly back to normal working order as rapidly as possible, without too much emphasis on how literally every person in existence has been placed in a mason jar by a narcissist and shaken twice in five years.

So they could get on with more superhero whack-blam business, which is customarily done against a background of Normality.

This is, tragically, the most Comics thing these movies have ever done.

It is beyond satire that they did this immediately before and during a worldwide pandemic that everyone was pressured to smooth over and 'return to normal' about within 2 years if not sooner.

I. ABOUT ME. My name is Min, I'm over 30 years of age and I've been rping in various fandoms for over 15 years. I work during the week so replies are slow, but I'm online throughout the dayand available through DMs or discord (for mutuals only). I'm currently not caught up with the new update, but I don't mind spoilers.

II. REQUIREMENTS. If you are interested in roleplaying with me, you must be at least 18 years of age, ideally over 21, even more idealier over 25. I make no exceptions for minors, regardless of thread content. I will gravitate towards H:SR canon muses, but I am open to OCs if the character appeals to me and crossovers if I can see a way to merge our worlds together.

III. WRITING.I prefer plotted threads and longer replies (on average I'll write 3-6 paragraphs), but I don't expect you to match length. What matters to me is the content of our posts and our ability to progress in the story we want to tell. I don't really do short convos anymore (unless it's dash crack) and I don't write unplotted starters because they often lead nowhere. If you have ideas for our muses, just message me and if you don't have ideas yet but would like to write, let's plot together :)

IV. MEMES. Best way to get something started with me is through memes. Any memes in my meme tag are available without time limit for all mutuals, so no need to ask first, just send in whatever tickles your fancy! Heads up: it might take me forever and three days to respond, but I will get there eventually. Feel free to reblog any meme posts directly from my blog, I don't mind that at all. Bonus: there's a high chance you'll get a meme reply from me 84 years after sending it, when you no longer remember it.

V. SHIPPING.I am very selective with shipping on this muse because I have very specific ideas of how Sunday feels about relationships between people, romantic and platonic, sex/ual desires and all things related. It's not off the table but I need and want to discuss the intricacies of this with my ship partner and make it work for both of us. That said, I don't mind ships that fall a little on the darker side - but it's not a requirement either. I don't insta-ship, especially not with Sunday, and once I do have a ship (or maybe more than one) I'll probably cap. If I write multiple ships, they are automatically in separate verses unless discussed otherwise. Don't be afraid to ask if you're interested in shipping, the worst case scenario could be that it doesn't work out.

VI. SOCIAL POLITICS.I am against callout and cancel culture and do not engage in it. So I'm going to be writing fanfics again. However, due to a recent increase in threats to my life and my well-being anon asks are permanently revoked. So, here's my new rules

Fandom-madness69 FanFic Rules

1. Do NOT request any fic about any character under the age of 18 (honestly 21 because I'm almost 30 over here but 18 is reluctantly acceptable). I don't care if you write aged up fics I personally don't. I don't even read them and usually block everyone I see who doesn't even do the bare minimum (aging the character up).

2. So you want your request to remain anonymous? Good thing that's still an option! Here's how to go about making your fic request private. Step One, follow me. Step Two, send an ask for me to follow you back because you have a fic request and my DMs are set to people I follow back. Step Three, DM me either an already established anonymous tag you use. If you don't have one we will make one. Step Four, send your request!

3. Understand that I deleted all my previously anonymous asks for fanfics so if you requested one back in November I'm sorry but life got to me and I wasn't in control of the meat suit (I have actually diagnosed D.I.D.) back then!

4. Do NOT request IRL people or you x someone IRL! I will gladly write Fictional Character x Reader (female, male, non-binary, trans, etc. pronouns) fics until the cows come home!

5. Understand that I am going to be moving to a new house between now and the middle of March. I will get these done as fast as I can. There are at least 15 other factors as to why my schedule is tight right now but that's the most impactful.

6. I have a list of things I will not do. If you guys need me to post that so you can just go look at it and not have to worry about the embarrassment of asking if I do or not, then I will do that at a later date. APPEARANCE

A peacock beastman with bright purply-pink hair and eyes. He has an ahoge that is not normal hair, turning blue towards the end. Above his left brow and below his left eye he has beauty marks. His overall body type is thin, toned and with hip dips. Very often Mitty applies red eyeshadow and lipstick as well as applying mascara and contact lenses to make his eyes appear larger. He has lobe piercings, but rarely wears earrings due to his hair covering or getting tangled easily. As for fashion he prefers deep reds and dark cool colors usually in lolita styles. For more casual looks he prefers loungewear like cardigans and loose pants.

PERSONALITY + BACKGROUND

As a child Mitchell was extremely influenced by anime idols and cute idol groups alike. Going as far as performing his favorite songs and dances in school talent shows. However, his obsession with making the crowd feel "awe-inspired" he often used his UM to his advantage. This didn't do well with many of his teachers and other parents... so surprisingly enough Mitty had many detentions in their early years. This record left him in dim lights for group auditions. Mittys mindset got a bit skewed and began to think... I will just have to try harder to rule the crowd! Overtime their hope to inspire morphed into wanting the world to love him (through mostly any means).

Upon entering NRC Mitchell had begun seeking attention online and decided a "debut concert" was most necessary. After the entrance ceremony Mitty went back to the mirror chamber, set up his phone camera and began to perform one of his favorite routines! Thus started his online career! While he is not as popular as others, he does have a few hundred supporting him and in his mind that's the first step to his domination!

Personality wise, Mitty is pretty dense when it comes to anything besides his interests and doesn't take no for an answer. No literally it will go in one ear out the other. Despite this he does take everything surprisingly seriously, ok not rejection, but everything else! However compliments? He will grin from ear to ear, go red and just absoluetly adore you! He can be a bit clingy when he's like this, but he's just happy some one likes him. When it comes to friendship though... well he's not a terrible friend, but he does tend to only think of himself most of the time... at least he will buy you things to make it up to you;; Just don't ask him for emotional advice too much he really isn't good at it. Overall he's a bit of an annoying person, but his shy and bashful bursts at compliments may be something redeemable.

Academically he is average. He does amazing is music but that's about it, everything else is passing at least. He struggles with history most due to his disinterest in remembering about people who aren't his idols.

In his free time, Mitty practices dance and song covers from his favorite medias. Posting them as often as he records and of course running to Cater for help very often. If they're not doing that, he's grooming his feathers or sewing new outfits. Occasionally he will tour around campus and invade dorms to take photos in his newest creations as well as show them off.

ABILITIES

UM- Focus on me! "Let me show you who's the main star!" -This unique magic allows Mitchell to take on his peacock beast-form. When showing off his beautiful feathers they act as a hypnotizing charm; causing dizziness, crossed vision, and luring people into a trance like state. If used with full force, Mitchell can force the afflicted to follow his movements. -Movement can not be fast or the afflicted will snap out of the trance. -strength of effects depends on the amount of magic used in this UM. Less input and you can expect a simple charm and lull effect, but with heavy input the effects will increase. -Small to medium blot manifestation; long term use at low levels is usually fine, but after a few hours blot formation rate will increase.

Notable Relationships:

Vil & Mitty : Mitty looks up to Vil and respect him so much! While he isnt into acting, Vils prowess and social media standing are impressive! Mitty is too busy fangirling and stuttering to speak to Vil casually. Vil doesn't seem to mind so long as it doesn't effect his work.

Cater & Mitty : Mitty joined the pop music club and immediately wanted to quit. It was quite contrary to what they expected. Cater and Kalim were quick to talk him into staying. Ever since, Cater has been a big help to Mitty in social media learning and Mitty may have taken to mimicking Caters speech online. Mitty says they're close friends, but Cater only see it as a casual friendship.

Riddle : Currently Mitty is trying to convince Riddle to form an idol duo. Riddle had been one of the first to "compliment" one of his dances, saying "Your dancing nice, however you are trespassing on Heartslaybl property!". Ever since, whenever Mitty visits Cater he doesn't hesitate to try and recruit the house warden. While Riddle does not hate him, he is often dumbfounded by Mittys inability to "read the atmosphere". It is not currently known why Mitty is obsessed beyond the nice comment.

thank you for the tag!! five things that make me happy, you say? hmmm...

1. my loved ones' laughter, especially if that laughter was caused by me. there's probably nothing in the world then hearing my friends be comfortable enough around me to openly laugh, because in my experience, i hate laughing around others i'm not comfortable with, so seeing other be comfortable with me and laughing makes me so, so happy.

2. drawing. as long as i can remember, i've always drawn atleast one thing a day. drawing is a safe space for me, a little land of my own that i can escape to and forget about everything else - my responsibilities, the passage of time... anything that isn't what i'm currently drawing will erase (pun intended) itself from my mind and i can have some temporary freedom from my thoughts.

3. my friends simply existing around me. honestly, my friends could replace my family and i wouldn't even complain. i really can't remember a time where i've thought of my family as more of a safe space than my friends, even if the friendship ended up not working out. my friends are my number 2 safe space, right below drawing. i get to be myself with them, no matter how weird or rude i've been told i am. shout out to my friends :)

4. my room. i've never really been able to decorate my room much due to how small and just generally un-decorable it is, but it's a place where i don't have to worry about judgement. it's mine, and what i say goes. you go into my room, you obey my rules, and my number 1 rule is that no one but my immediate family and friends can go in here. i can't get hurt here, and it's where most of the stuff that brings me comfort is: my stuffies, my phone/drawing tablet, my bed, my art supplies, random knick-knacks, etc.

5. my pets, a.k.a my budgie 'preener' and my dog 'cash'. i've known my dog since i was about a year old, i've spent my whole life with him. i've watched him grow from a young, lively puppy that i could never keep up with, to an old, sick dog that i have to go far slower than i'm used to just so he isn't left behind on walks. sometimes, it makes me sad, because i know he's going to die soon, but, atleast he spent his whole life with a family that loved him. gave him food he liked and love, always gave him an excessive amount of pets, washed and trimmed him when needed, gave him dog beds... he grew up with two kids that adored him, that thought he was the best thing ever, that always petted him when they saw him. he knows we love him, and tha's enough for me. he's old, but he's still as happy as a puppy.

and my budgie... i don't know much about him, actually. we got him in 2022, i believe, and we got him from the streets. we don't know how old he is, if he's ill, but he seems happy with us. the longer we've had him, the more he trusts us - he's even started climbing onto our hands and letting us take him away from his perching spot! he's an asshole that's always pecking at us, yelling when he doesn't get our attention, and he's also an idiot (his full name is idiot preener for a reason after all), but he's my idiot and i love him. i hope i'll manage to get his full trust one day.

When someone lets me know about something they think is interesting - this can be something as small as "hey look at this cool rock I found", or it can be someone explaining a topic they're interested in in considerable depth. i LOVE it when all you amazing people share interesting things with me!

People responding to stuff i've put out in the world - whether that's a "you ok?" after a vent, or a "ooh that reminds me of this!" after a blurble, or a "but hear me out, what if this" after an idea - you're telling me that a REAL PERSON not only LISTENED but JOINED IN??!? amazing.

I have recently discovered that there's a gluten-free French bakery about 15min walk from my house, and i am DELIGHTED. you're telling me there's this dude who heard we can't eat croissants, and not only did he go "damn that sucks" he went and STARTED AN ENTIRE BAKERY ABOUT IT??!? and there's sourdough?! which i haven't got to try yet cos it's only baked a few times a week and it sells fast and i'm busy but there are also ham and cheese croissants. which are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS??!? granted, i am still suspiciously lacking in bagels specifically but I GET TO EAT CROISSANTS AGAIN AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS. this is a VERY good thing and i am VERY happy about it!

Bob Mintzer's piece Computer. The computer-y sections pop and bounce just like the inside of my brain and it's SO fun; and the opening chords never fail to bring a smile to my face. (It's now stuck in my head, which i'm looking forward to enjoying for the rest of the day!)

Silly bad jokes/puns. When someone gets me with the 'hi X, i'm name' or similar - like, fuck you (on principle) but I love it. and when i get someone in a similar way - it's just so good! another one that always amuses me is "where's my fucking [item]?" "over there next to your regular [item]" - you understand the style? yeah.

Hello, just a passer-by! I actually was just looking at waterfall and was considering using it(I'm just looking for new websites to us and be cringe on) when I saw your post recommending not to!

I'm curious, what happened that was so bad???

The admin Thell/Thelle doesn't plan to develop Waterfall.Social anymore. He said he plans to keep it on while he creates something else but its not worth the time. Trust Me. (And waterfall apparently is down half the time nowadays)

People paid for this website on gofund me or whatever patreon website so you'd expect a bit of professionalism but Thell is not and he's ready to blame the users on his own shortcomings.

The ToS at the beginning had some bull like "no need to tire you with legalese" (paraphrasing it here) at the beginning of it. which Obviously had to be changed later. But it was a red flag i suppose.

Back when i joined waterfall years ago it to had some nice ideas, but longterm it fell Apart due to Thell being a mess of a single admin.

Thell created us an art marketplace on the website and then took it down few months later bc it wasn't profitable and people wouldn't abide the rules.

Which, in all fairness, the website was small, and he'd refuse to hire more staff idk. hard to see it profitable if it's tiny

Like, he'd give us featured art frame like on Tumblr desktop except it was random art so everyone got the chance to use it. Everyone loved it bc of that. Maybe feew years later though he broke the feature down

Why? Bc, at least to him, People would register to the website, see "bad art" and then walk away from the website. (Ways to insult userbase💖)

Not that the website itself was kind of bare and laggy and bunch of people was on it :))

Thell changed the featured art frame into 'only artworks above a treshold of notes get in there'. And it was some bull amount bc all you could see was few artworks circulating on repeat 'for another year'

I also heard the coding of the website was a mess but i'm not an IT person so idk

he also promised an app for Waterfall but then it turned out he'd have to have more staff to post it in appstore lol

Thell would even sort of threaten at some point to take away NSFW? the very reason why the site existed

Saying that people don't tag nsfw and this is why other websites got it banned and he doesn't want it to happen here.

A year ago Waterfall stopped working for a few weeks.

And so i was curious and i started digging. (it was actually also after announcement that Thell was thinking about ditching the website altogether for maybe a new project but couldn't decide)

Invites for official discord server weren't working.

Official twitter was gone

Official tumblr account was gone

No info whatsoever

Except i only found some roleplaying cherp drama on tumblr dunking on Thell i guess, bc offtopic, but apparently he was an admin on it and they accussed him of pretending to be 2 people in the same time, god complex, narcissism, bad coding and telling one of the Discord members to kill themself.

At the beginning i also remember being able to look at notification board.

And later it disappeared for some reason.

Thell took it down after a year or two I Suppose

Lack of communication, one big indecisiveness, lack of transparency, taking away what was already in there, lack of planning skills while not getting more people on board, etc.

And honestly the red signs were already there even before Waterfall. Before this site, which is supposed to be for leftist minded people, he was creating a website for rightists which also failed lol (you should be able to find more about it while browsing through waterfall tag more). People can change. But it seems Thell didn't change that much for the better beyond changing bunch of views.

If you'd like receipts, they should be available on Waterfall's Staff blog on Waterfall social bc Thell wrote updates through time.

If Thell creates another website ever again i Hope Tumblr will crush it to pulp.

If you'd like something that's more stable i can recommend Pillowfort and send you an invite code if you'd like. They also allow nsfw.

I heard there was some drama with it and staff aswell though i have no details about it, and i bet it wasn't as ridiculous as waterfall. I know they were fakely accussed on allowing cp tho. Even despite their website being one of the most anti-cp (even fictional is a No) i've seen. Heard they are too jumpy with implementing this ban, which is not good if you get fakely accussed, but well, maybe it changes. You don't have to pay for it to necessarily use it so at worst its just waste of time. o/ Pillowfort grows and seems to get regularly updated and it has a team behind it.

If you are an artist or an art enjoyer, Artfol is a cool new app for that. You can view it also from desktop. They are currently developing the option to post artworks from website. A very organised small team.

Other social media i somewhat heard of were mastodon (decentralised Twitter?) and Inkblot (another for artists)

If anyone knows more websites, please let me know!

Otherwise? Just not waterfall. Not it. The admin is way too unreliable

Even though he's a paramedic, his job doesn't get terribly exciting. Now, he's on the run with said man who can't even remember who he is as they escape assassins and potentially uncover a plot that will destroy Erebor from the top.

Bonded- Hobbits are Dragon Herders AU; The Naming Ceremony where a hobbit bonds with his dragon for the first time is supposed to be a blessing, Bilbo's came as more of a curse when he was chosen as the Alpha-Bond. Bilbo and Smaug have never gotten along, but after a Naming Ceremony goes wrong and Smaug is fleeing the Shire, Bilbo knows he will stop at nothing until he sees their Alpha safely home.

I Married an Assassin- True Lies AU; Twelve years ago, Bilbo fell for a charming man who saved his life in his university library. While he loves his husband and their son, he finds his life to be a bit...dull. So when he comes across the adventure of a lifetime, he has to take it! Only this particular adventure has the potential to crash his life around him considering his boring accountant husband might actually be an assassin who's been doing his best to keep him out of the eyes of a terrorist organization due to a clue left behind by his mother.

Chasing Dragons and Bedding Burglars- Mafia/Detective AU; When Thorin Oakenshield transferred to Ered Luin PD, there was really only one thing on his mind: finally catch the monster that destroyed his family. However, he quickly learns Ered Luin lives under the rule of the local mafia and figures the only way to catch Smaug is to pretend to be a dirty cop and make nice with the supposed crime boss known only as "The Burglar".
