Usually the mere sight of his brother would have been enough to cause his stomach to churn with disgust. However it was a rare occasion where James was glad to have run into him. “ I wasn’t expecting to see you in these parts of town at this hour brother... “ he spoke as a dark chuckle fell from his lips. “ Come here for any particular reason or did I just get lucky? “ he questioned, before his eyes flashed from their usually blue to a dark ember.

“I swear it was an accident.” (Liv to Zachary)

“I’m sure.” Zachary glanced over his shoulder to make sure no one else was around. “That’s a likely story, Liv.” He didn’t believe her as far as he could throw her. The only person in this he trusted completely was himself. But he needed Liv and Mirren and Mateo if he wanted to come out of this ahead. The whole thing should be over soon, that’s what he was holding on to. “Just don’t let it happen again, got it?”

True, might be a good idea to get one, or else she’ll just keep climbing up you, and if you aren’t covered in scratches now you definitely will be then.

“And to think,” Zachary mused bitterly, snatching the phone from Mateo’s hand. “Last week you said you could do this shit without me.” He was the only one who could do most of the shit that needed to be done. If it didn’t piss him off so much, he’d have laughed about Mateo saying that he didn’t need Zach. He was ready for this whole heist to be over so he could have his cut of the money and get the hell away from this so called partners he had.

Joyce was in the fields for cheerleading practice, only to discover that it was cancelled due to an unknown reason. Probably an emergency of some sort? She didn’t want to go through a list of possible reasons. Sighing, the princess had bid farewell to disappointed teammates, deciding to stay on the field to watch the sports teams practice. The day was far too gorgeous to pass on, the sky painted a deep blue. Instead of having to stand, the girl plopped her butt onto the ground as she fixed her attention back to the soccer players at the edge. An enthusiastic cheer slipped past her lips, arms flailing in the air. 

Far too focused into the practice game, she didn’t notice a figure sit beside her until she felt a nudge against her shoulder. Her head made a quick turn to the right. “Zachary!” What in the world was that boy doing here? “Hey. Haven’t seen you in a while! Have you been cooped up in your dorm the entire time?”

“You’d be surprised by how often that happens,” Nicole said in a sigh, before turning at the homeless man a few feet away from them with his oversized trench coat open with nothing underneath. “Hey, Cole!” She yelled. “We really don’t need you showing off your misery. Can you just fuck off?! Thanks!”

“You know who to call.” Liv to Zachary

“Ghost busters?” Zachary replied dryly. He wouldn’t be surprised if Liv didn’t even know who the Ghost Busters were. A kid her age probably thought that the chick from Bridesmaids was one of the originals. But all of that was beside the point. The point was that Liv was acting like she was calling the shots here and that wasn’t the case at all. Zach was calling the shots in this little relationship of theirs. And if it wasn’t him then it was Mateo but it wasn’t Liv and it wasn’t Mirren. “You don’t need to worry about anything.” He assured her with a tight lipped smile. “Just do your part.”
