“Are you ever not?” Wanda remarked. She wasn’t that familiar with Loki, knowing him mostly through the Avengers. Of course, she hadn’t been in NYC when Loki attacked it, but it had been a major part of the Sokovia Accords. Then again, that had been years ago. She’d certainly changed a lot since then. He may have too.

Roller skating was not something Gabby had ever done before. She had plenty of other skills, many of which required dexterity, strength, flexibility, stamina. But she’d never strapped wheels to her shoes and ridden down the street. So it felt inevitable that she’d fall. Probably even bump into someone. Or both at the same time. When she did, landing on her ass after hitting the man in front of her, she expected annoyance. She didn’t expect what he ended up saying. 

Gabby just laughed, then stopped, tilting her head with a more serious expression. “Oh. Um, was that meant to stop me? Making a fool of myself?” She snorted. “I do what I want. And it’s fun. Maybe you should try it.”

Bruce glanced down at the papers in his hand as he carefully closed the office door behind him. Professor Svalbard had been what anybody could expect of an expert in Asgardian culture, and he was rather grateful for that fact, if he was being entirely honest. His life had developed a sense of normalcy over the previous few months, and with Betty now living in the Tower with him, that was something he greatly wanted to keep a handle on. Upon first being referred by a university he had called for recommendations, he had been skeptical, but the visit had proven surprisingly useful and he had enough information now to move his own projects further. He gave the documents one final shuffle before slipping them into his messenger bag, tugging awkwardly at his sleeves. He was already looking forward to returning home. @madeformischief​

edging a hand close to the god of mischief, he ever so delicately entwined his fingers with his own, in hopes this would make some sort of difference. maybe even serve as a comfort.

"is this alright ?" he asked, quite close to loki so only he could hear. pietro just wanted him to feel cared for, and more so to be shown it. which is why he held loki's hand tightly. so he knew it was real.

Loki

Startled by the man's voice she flinched striking the top of her head on the hood. Ahh. She hadn’t heard him approach due to the pummeling rain, and had been too distracted anyways trying to keep her cell dry as she looked under the hood. She gave him a accusatory glare before rubbing the crown of her head. Of all her luck first, the car and now some strange guy just popped out of nowhere.

Serial killer or not she was going to have to talk to this guy. Looking back at the beat-up Dodge she shook her head, “I don’t know. It’s never happened before. It just started to shake so I pulled over.” Wiping some rain from her forehead she sighed, “It just died.” Looking back at the engine, or what she thought was the engine as she admitted, “Everything looks okay-I think. I don’t even know what I’m looking at.”  She added her tone ebbed in defeat over the situation.
