Does any of the TRC characters like dinosaurs? Because I have two in mind that would (not including Matthew but he definitely does)

Matthew likes dinosaurs, solely because he grew up wearing dinosaur footsie pajamas and playing with dinosaur toys and the like. Blue likes dinosaurs for the grandiosity of them. She canonically likes learning about animals, especially sea life, and I've always seen her as a big lizard - and reptiles in general - person. So she'd probably have been very into them, especially as a kid - and as she aged it became something she'd be interested in studying tangentially (ecology major Blue my beloved). Gansey did like dinosaurs, maybe not as much as Blue, but he definitely had a niche dinosaur interest as a kid his parents didn't understand all that well. I don't think it stuck with him the way it did with Blue, but there was a childhood interest. He's not the type to deep dive into something without that deep-seated personal motivation for purpose, so I doubt its a constant intrigue of his. But he definitely used to get excited about fossils.

I saw your tags on that other post—I just want to say that you’re not alone on the house thing… it has been financially crippling for me too and I really regret it so much, but we did it because of family pressure. We were doing so good in an apartment living so comfortably, and now it’s paycheck to paycheck scraping by T_T this house thing really blows!! im sending you a hug this is so hard but you’re not alone!

hi hi aleks!! 💗 the solidarity of house buying regret is real but i’m so sorry you can relate �� we were going to get an apartment after getting married but yep family pressure and assistance and we have a house which we truly do love our house but its both hard financially and mentally being here with two newborns who will eventually need childcare when i go back to work in april

our plan is to live with my mom for a year and reevaluate where we’re at then!! we’re in talks with a property management group to help us rent out the place 🙏🏼

i hope things manage to improve for you!! or you do what you need to do for your wellbeing both mentally and financially, honestly i wish we could refinance our mortgages but tbh the rates now aren’t that much better than they were a while back 🙃

so everyone and their mother has written their dissertations on the thing. donutgate. whatever. you understand. i watched this live in my bed in the dark and it was one of the first moments where i was like Ohhhhhh Shit This Is Seriousssss and so naturally i opened my google docs. at this point i don't know if it's high? on my priorities list just bc i dont know if im saying or doing anything new or interesting with it beyond like. hey wasnt that crazy. theyre in love. and theyre going to have really disgustingly sweet sex about it probably. but anyways have a snippet from before their press conferences

“Hold up,” Ja’Marr says, catching Joe’s elbow. Joe stops, turns to meet his gaze—face flushed red from scrubbing at it, hair curling wet near his temples, water stained on the collar of his undershirt. Pretty blue sea glass eyes, wide and waiting. God—Ja’Marr's chest goes a little fuzzy, just to look at him. “You got a lil…” Ja’Marr curls two fingers around Joe’s chin to hold him steady. Reaches up with the other hand and swipes a thumb across the swell of Joe’s cheekbone, catching the last bit of frosting stuck to damp skin. Joe’s throat clicks as he swallows. His throat bobs. “All good?” he asks, voice low, half-gravely. Ja’Marr hums. He pops the thumb in his mouth, sucks at the frosting—watches Joe’s pupils go wide, pink lips parting—and then the taste hits him. It’s almost unbearably sweet, and weirdly chalky, too, spreading like a film over his teeth—Ja’Marr grimaces, sticks his tongue out, like the air will clear the flavor somehow. “Bro, that’s actually nasty, what the fuck—” Joe laughs, bright and startled, all shiny teeth and crinkled eyes. He leans down, bonks his forehead gently against Ja'Marr's, linking their pinkies once before heading for the door.

for the most part, ellie likes wearing oversized shirts and sweatshirts, bc like. a physical form? in this economy?? her favorite color is yellow and she has this light yellow hoodie that is super soft and she wears it A Lot ! (once she meets the other two she starts stealing their clothes too but that’s a ways off)

alex is something of a Fancy Boy in that he takes a lot of comfort in being in control of his appearance. he wears nicer clothes to work, button downs and khakis and all that. but his favorite item of clothing is this lil black bow tie he has, bc it was the first item of clothing he bought with his own money after he’d been working at the antiquities shop long enough to get paid. he wears it when he goes to see nana and the other kids.

cass isn’t much for the visual aspect of clothes, all she needs is the ability to move fast and free. most of her wardrobe consists of leggings and tighter fitting t shirts. however she does have the necklace her mom pressed into her palm the night she was turned and taken away. it’s a simple gold chain with a single ruby on the end. in the beginning harrison and the others tried to get it away from her to pawn it off, but she hissed and bit so much that they eventually grew tired and gave up.

Metallica - A song that you think everybody should listen to?

I'm gonna be just a touch salty with this pick, and say Black Metal by Venom. Then maybe everyone who is quick to say "black metal is all about being a jerk and murdering people and having shitty beliefs because that was the ~origin of the genre in the Norwegian black metal scene" may actually recall that the Norwegian scene was literally also named the "second wave of black metal". As in, other people laid the groundwork first. Not just Venom of course, but like. They did give name to the genre. Also, just on the merit of the song, it's very joyous to me like, fuck yeah, gonna lay down my soul to the gods rock and roll with metal tenfold through that deadly black hole!!! Iconic.
