Cabritas, Pichilemu, Chile: Las Cabritas, a typical transport to explore the streets of Pichilemu. The origin of the cars or “cabritas” of Pichilemu is deeply linked to the history of commune and dates back to the beginning of the 20th century when they were the means of transportation for passengers who arrived by train to the adjacent stations located in the towns of Alcones, El Lingue, Larraín Alcalde, until the Pichilemu train station was inaugurated on January 5, 1926. Today they are one of the most attractive tourist elements because they allow tourists to appreciate the landscape in a friendly and playful way, while enjoying the sea air.
