Callen was the my first real tv crush and I love him so much. I am so so happy that he is finally in a good relationship and I actually cried when he proposed to Anna, I can't wait for the wedding!!

14 seasons later and I get a happy ending for Callen. We know his name, and he finds love with Anna.

I'm saddened to see one of my favourite shows end. I'm so thankful though that the writers did it right!

That was some long ass interview Anna had if it’s nightfall. Callen has solved a whole damn case.

And he lit candles. And got bagels. And they were still going to go to dinner.

Anna is like, “Um, she lied a lot, and I don’t get it?” (Same, girl. Same.)

I’m glad SOMEONE asked him. And he gave a totally understandable and honest answer. He isn’t going to act like Hetty hasn’t done things, but there are things he can’t let go.

That was a really, really well done scene.  I was worried about it based on some of the interviews that he was going to seem a lot more like he’s regressed, but I think that was some of the most self-aware things Callen has ever said.

Is the fact that they’re doing these conversations so well and making everything seem promising make me worried they’re going to do something bad, that might even botch and be out of character for Callen?

Yeah.

Maybe.

Yeah.

Callen and Anna finally get married (14x21)

It appears Callen and Anna will say, “I do” without much ado, in TVLine’s exclusive look at NCIS: Los Angeles‘ series-ending wedding.

The awaited nuptials, which will cap Part 2 of the double-episode series finale (airing on consecutive Sundays, May 14 and May 21), caps “an ongoing story this year in terms of Callen thinking about the wedding and what that means,” as NCIS: LA showrunner R. Scott Gemmill previously told TVLine. Callen, played since Day 1 by Chris O’Donnell, “is somebody, obviously, who’s been the typical lone wolf, so it’s a big thing, trying to settle down and be in one place, and open up his life to somebody.”

Callen and Anna (played since the end of Season 6 by Bar Paly) getting hitched without a hitch also will fulfill NCIS: LA fans’ No. 3 wish for the series finale, which in our poll trailed only Kensi learning she is pregnant and any sort of final encore by original cast member Linda Hunt’s long-MIA Hetty.

In Part 1 of the finale, which is titled “New Beginnings,” the ATF seeks help from NCIS to investigate stolen military-grade weapons and locate a missing agent. Elsewhere, Callen and Anna continue to plan their wedding… Rountree’s sister interviews for medical school… and Sam encourages his father to take part in a drug trial.

One week later, in “New Beginnings, Part 2” — which will air an hour earlier than usual, at 9 pm —  the NCIS team continues that case with ATF, while Callen and Anna decide to pull the trigger on an impromptu wedding.

Following Part 2 of the series finale, at 10 pm, there will be a one-hour Entertainment Tonight special titled A Salute to NCIS: Los Angeles. The Kevin Frazier-hosted retrospective will feature footage and interviews with cast members from the past 14 years, plus new interviews, favorite memories and behind-the-scenes moments.

I'm so overwhelmed by the news of NCIS La ending that I don't have any deep poetic thoughts on the show or any coherent hopes for the finale. All I know is I found this show during a very difficult time in my life and it has helped me through the even harder times since then. I love the LA team and their little family, this show may be ending but my love for them won't.

So I'm sad but also looking foward to the rest of season 14 and for the casts next project's.
