What are your headcanons on each of the idols' families?

For example: I headcanon the Squid Sisters to be the daughters of that one cuttlefish idol group; with Marie being the kid of the one in blue while Callie is the kid of the one in pink.

My headcanons on each of the idols' families? Hmm, that's a very interesting question.

I feel like Callie and Marie's parents used to be idols themselves, and that's why they made them sing at folk singing competitions when they were kids. They probably didn't force them to do it either as Callie and Marie have a genuine passion for music and they never speak poorly about their parents. So it all worked out in the end for them. Maybe their parents were the Idols you are talking about, that is an interesting theory/headcanon.

Pearl's parents to me, probably suck and are just pompous rich assholes. Standard typical rich parents that treat their child as a toy they can put their money into and not their love. I think they might have been the reason on why Pearl decided to become a punk rocker for a bit, because she wanted to rebel and say "MAN SCREW YOU MUM AND DAD!!!!!!"

Now Marina's parents/family? I think they were just never in the picture to be honest. They just raised her to be a perfect solider and nothing more, because Octarian society is always in a state of collapse so... There's no room in their eyes to properly raise a child unfortunately...

Maybe it explains why Marina becomes so in love with Pearl, because she's the only person in her life who has given her any sort of love and respect.... No wonder she fucking freaks out when Pearl even remotely suggestions Off the Hook breaking apart in the Final Fest dialogue.... I'm gonna leave it there before i start feeling sad for my girl Marina.

ANYWAYS! Shiver's parents/family

I feel like they are the very distant and cold type of parents. They probably didn't treat her all that warmly and they disciplined her a lot so that she can become a powerful shark tamer. I don't Shiver's parents were physically abusing her or anything, i think they were just being VERY strict with her and not being the most lovey dovey parents out there you know?

It might explain why Shiver calls herself cold blooded but she still desperately wants to hang out with her high school buddies Frye and Big Man.... She didn't get that warm attention she needed as a kid and now seeks it badly as an adult....

I headcanon Shiver as a lonely person who struggles with loneliness and doesn't know how to properly show her love to others. She tried to set up a hang out plan for FrostyFest as shown by the dialogue but... it didn't pan out as she wanted... It probably destroyed her...

Damn... I'm getting real sad with these huh? HAHAHA! Okay, no more sad shit.

Frye's family is probably amazing and quite large. I can imagine get-togethers to be humongous and Frye loves to see her family. She has such a strong connection to her siblings and i bet her parents too. Frye probably has the best relationship with her family out of any of the 7 Idols.

I mean look at this joyful little fella, she must have had great parents to make her end up into becoming this happy little gal.

Summary: you’re friends with Andre, but things are about to change after you create a TikTok account and start doing challenges that may lead to news between you and your favorite hockey player.

When it comes to capturing a moment you’re usually the person your friends think about, not simply because you’re always carrying a camera -mainly because of it-, but because you’re great with what you do -either photos or videos-. That’s also why your Instagram profile has more followers than an ordinary girl would and it’s the only place people can find you -besides e-mail-. However, that changed when your best friend -Callie- convinced you to create a TikTok account. You, of course, hated it, but she had the perfect opportunity -you were a bit tipsy, all your friends around, sunny weekend and so it goes. 

“Mikko, do you think I’m pretty?” You direct the camera to his face while looking expectantly. 

Saturday evening rolled around, the hot weather forcing your friends either to the inside of the pool or under the sunshade and their hands busy with cold drinks. It was a happy day, everyone was around, and you were enjoying the vacation. You had met half of the Hockey team as soon as you moved to Colorado and Erik, your and your brother’s hometown best friend decided you needed to know his crew and the city around. Six months later and you knew pretty much everyone and everything.

“Of course I think you’re pretty” he gives you a confused look before you turn to Tyson giggling.

“Josty, do you think I’m pretty?” you ask and he looks straight at the camera “I would give you 5 out of 10 cause you’re bro.”

You laugh and turn to Andre this time.

“Andre, do you think I’m pretty?” 

He seems taken aback by the question and unlike Tyson, he stares at you. “Of course you’re pretty.”

You keep to your task and last but not least is Nathan, he’s sitting at a table while working on some drinks and you take him by surprise by jumping in front of him. “Mac, do you think I’m pretty?”

He rolls his eyes playfully and turns his attention to you for some seconds before looking at his drink again, “I would one hundred percent date you if you were not my sisters’ best friend” 

And then your time is over. 

“So you’re a tiktoker now?” Erik sits beside you and Nathan just as you uploaded the video. He raises his eyebrows and you roll your eyes lightly, “you know I hate TikTok, but it’s fun, so…”

“She’s gonna end up famous there too”, Andre announces leaning his body on the table and motioning for Nathan to refill his drink. Your eyes roam on his big hands grasping the red cup, his cheeks red from the sun, and the way you could see his dimples when he smiled at you, his hair messy in a cute way. 

“Why do you think that?” now he has three pairs of curious eyes staring at him.

You almost chuckled when his point finger scratched his chin. His skin glowing, “I mean, you’re funny and cute…cute girls get famous on TikTok” he reasoned. 

“Is this your best, Burki?” Erik asks and for the way his lips were tight against each other you knew he wanted to laugh.

“C’mon, let them be,” Nathan said after giving the blond American a new cup, and before you could ask what was the matter Callie was calling you at the door. 

Your best friend started a rant about how she was going to get Chinese take-out for dinner and when you told her she should get Thai too -because it was Andre’s favorite- she started another rant about how you should tell him you’re in love and how it was cute the way you two functioned but also annoying. All you could do was savor your drink and mentally play a Taylor Swift song while she went on, “I mean it, y/n! Just tell him already…”

“Have you seen Andre?!” you whisper-scream to her and Callie sights rolling her eyes, “what about him?” 

Swallowing the last sip of your drink you start to draw doodles on the glass with your fingers, “I’m just y/n, he’s Andre Burakovsky”. You usually were not insecure about your looks, but it was Andre, and the fact that he was a famous and good-looking hockey player made you question how in heavens he would like you back. Hell, you were not even sure how you two ended up in such a close friendship, he always being so affectionate and listening to everything you had to say. Your friendship seemed like the most you could take from the interaction. You knew he was ‘just Andre’ too when all your friends were gathered, but being ‘just Andre’ was as amazing as being Andre Burakovsky the hockey player. 

“You’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever met, y/n, and I don’t mean considering only your looks, but everything. You’re funny, smart, and always so attentive with everyone, you listen to everything and always have nice things to say, don’t you ever doubt your value, you hear me?” Callie’s words make you sit up straight in the stall and your eyes water. 

“In my defense, this is not me crying, this is tipsy me having an emotional moment”, you joke and it’s seconds before the two of you are laughing the way you used to during a John Mulaney show.

It was night when you unlocked your phone only to find a bunch of notifications from TikTok, some of the comments from fans about how happy the boys seemed, but most were about the way Andre looked at you when you asked the question. According to the most liked comment “this is clearly a friends to lovers, mutual pining, unaware love and slow-burn situation” which made you giggle but also replay the video a dozen times trying to figure out if there was really something there and you were the unaware one. 

Needless to say, you weren’t able to reach a conclusion, but it felt different when you excused yourself to take a shower after spilling wine in your shirt and you felt Andre’s eyes on you all the way to the stairs. His hands on your shoulders felt heavier and the way he was attentive whenever you needed a refill or wanted a bite of food seemed more intimate and caring than ever.

Hitting the shuffle button, you chose your Taylor Swift playlist before entering the shower. The cold water cooled you off a bit, it was almost like washing out part of the alcohol in your system, but your tipsy mind kept finding evidence that Andre liked you back. 

You went through your clothes finding a floral summer dress and sipping on your wine while brushing your hair. Your body was still feeling hot and at this point, you didn’t know if it was from the sun on your face or the alcohol in your system, but when you heard the first notes of “Dress” playing you knew you were going to do something stupid, especially because your cell phone was one arm away. If someone asked you where the idea came from you wouldn’t know what to answer, and usually thinking about how you didn’t have an answer was enough to make you give up on some stupid ideas...not this one though. 

Reaching for your phone you unlocked it and walked to the body-length mirror in the room you were sharing with Callie. It took less than 2 minutes to snap a picture and send it to him and it took him less than 1 minute to answer it.

‘Woah’

‘You liked it?’ you sent back

‘Yeah, you’re looking good, cutie’ he answered just as fast, before sending a red heart emoji.

‘I don’t want you like a friend’

‘and I only bought this dress so you could take it off’

It was the exact line Taylor was singing when you reached the send button. You saw the dots appearing and disappearing and your body sobered up even more than before. 

“Fuck!” you almost voiced. How would he look at you after this? Could you pretend you confused him with someone else? Of course not, he was the only Andre you knew! And everyone knew better you were not the bold flirty type.

That was it, your secret was spilled just like your wine on your shirt earlier, but now you wouldn’t be able to clean off the stain. 

Would he believe it if you told him it was a prank to your new TikTok account?

You were lost in your thoughts before three knocks on your door startled you. And there he was when you pushed the door open. Standing with his hands inside his pockets and his hair still messy, he stared at you. It took maybe five minutes before he spoke, but it felt like an eternity considering his intense eyes studying you.

“You’re looking even better this close” for some reason his voice is low like he didn’t want anyone to hear and pop the bubble of the moment. 

You feel your body getting hotter, pretty sure your face is turning even redder, so you reach your hands to both of your cheeks. That gets a giggle out of Andre and you instantly move them to your back, your eyes now staring at his bare feet. 

All you wanted to do was bury yourself on a rabbit hole until Andre lost his memory, or you lost yours. You were thinking about the possibility of a secret society -Alice in Wonderland style- inside the rabbit hole that you could live in forever when Burki extended his hand, his palm facing you, silently asking you to put your hand in his. So you did. And it was only a blink of an eye before his body was closer, almost touching yours.

“You’re not that drunk, are you?” he questioned. 

You shook your head no and he moved his hand to your waist as a message that maybe -and only maybe- he wanted to be close too. So you moved your right one to his large shoulders. 

“I’m glad you’re not drunk…” 

“I’m just a bit hot and bothered” and dying out of shame! You screamed inside your head. 

“Oh sure you are”, he replied with a small smile playing at the corner of his pink lips. Your brows raised in confusion and before you could ask, he answered, “hot. You’re hot”.

“Does it mean you’re gonna take my dress off?” you have no idea when you got so bold, but Andre seemed amused with everything. 

“No, not tonight. You’re not drunk, but you’re a bit tipsy, I don’t want to start things like this” his fingers are in your cheekbone and you lean into him. “I’m gonna kiss you though, can I?” 

His lips, so different from his hands, were soft and hot. They found yours timidly, exploring the space while his body welcomed yours closer, he took his time before his fingers were in your hair and his tongue caught your lips. 

It felt good.

Like never before. 

For some seconds you wished to be able to capture the moment and save it forever. Repeat it in your head every day. 

Andre played with the strings of your dress, slipping it off your shoulders and you got into your tiptoes to peck his lips one last time. 

“So...I take you really liked the dress?” 

“I actually like you, the dress is a bonus” he shrugs and you giggle before finding yourself wrapped in another kiss.

Thoughts after 17x10 (obviously contains spoilers)

Beach scenes: I didn't cry when Derek appeared, I nearly cried when George appeared, I got really sad with Deluca and Lexie, but the one that made me cry was Mark. Seeing him and Lexie together again was amazing. As someone who already knew they were going to die due to the plane crash in s8 finale since my first watch of s5, the worst part of their relationship was that I knew they were wasting their time, and I'm glad they think the same now. It's a shame they weren't closer in the beach, but oh well. The mentions of Callie, Arizona and Sofia also made me happy. Hopefully, no more beach scenes.

Cristina's "appearance": I think it's kinda of a odd choice to have her keep in touch with Owen about Meredith instead of someone else they know (like Bailey or Jackson or Hayes), especially after last episode. Teddy's "dreams" about Owen were really on point. Sadly, I think we won't get any Cristina besides that, so even that little moment was really good.

Teddy and Amelia: Even if it's a good idea to have Teddy stay with someone who cares about her, I don't think Owen's intentions were good (Teddy herself said he put her with Amelia bc he doesn't trust her to take care of their children - which gets worst when you remember how they handled the child situation in season 16. Teddy stayed at home, and Owen took a more challenging job the day after he offered to stay at home with the children. Yay. Also, I don't think I remember seeing him ever holding Allison, but I do remember him having Amelia take care of his childrens. Anyways, I'm going off topic). Teddy should really let Amelia in, bc rn it seems like she thinks Amelia doesn't actually like her when she clearly does. I love their friendship, and I hope they get closer to each other.

Owen/Teddy/Tom Triangle: I think the last ep killed pretty much every hope for Towen as a couple (Teddy's last words for him in the "dream" before it changed to her and Allison were her realizing she was never going to be enough for Owen), but I think we will get to see them forgiving each other and becoming friends again, especially since they have two children together. Tom, on the other hand, seems to have realized/decided something on this episode. I think he will come back to Teddy, but I don't know how she will respond. Still, they seem more likely to happen than Towen, which makes me happy. It doesn't look like Owen resents Tom anymore and Tom seems to be trying to have a good relationship with him, so Owen might support them if Toddy decides to get back together. Yay.

Hayes and Jo: Ok so... What is going on between them?? Like, obviously something is going to happen, but I still don't know what. The only thing I can imagine by now is a type of love "square" with the two of them + Mer and Jackson, but that would be crazy. I thought for a second it would be Hayes blaming Jo for Irene's death, but it doesn't seem like she's going to die. I'm losing my mind over this. I have absolutely no idea about what will happen between them. But something definitely will.

Jo and Jackson: Not sure about Jo, but Jackson will 100% catch feelings. He's already, I think. Never was a fan of Jolex and I don't want Japril to get back together (loved while it lasted, but also love the fact that they didn't end up together), so I kinda ship them. I'm also really liking Jo this season.

Winston and Maggie: I'm not usually the first one to be happy when a couple gets engaged after less than a year together, but it's different in this case. There are couples, like Marshall and Lily from HIMYM, that are clearly meant to be from their first on-screen moment. Winston and Maggie are one of them. I know some people think there's something sketchy about Winston, but honestly? This is the first time I actually like a ship with Maggie, and I really think they just clicked. Might be wrong, but I hope not.

Preview: Jackson's face in the preview kinda made me thing April will come back next week and it won't be as a doctor, but I'm probably and hopefully wrong. Also, Link proposing is really unexpected. He keeps running away from stuff and I feel like he will run away for real some time, so not a big fan of Amelink. Don't think Amelia will say yes though. I like crossovers, but it means I won't be able to watch the episode until two days after it comes out (as it takes at least two days for people to sub Station 19 and I can only watch Grey's live), so that sucks. Anyways, it seems like a good ep.

Amelia and Link: He ran away when he thought Scout wasn't his, he ran away again when he felt overwhelmed. He came back both times (he only left for a day the second time, but still), but he did ran. I don't get why he's proposing when he already can't stay during hard times. Totally think Amelia will say no, because lately she has been the most reasonable character in the whole series. Also, something about her face both in the preview and when she hugged Link at the end of the episode makes me think something will happen. There's also been hints that she and Owen might get back together somehow, so there's that too. I honestly don't see any of these two relationships going somewhere though.

Double or Nothing preview

Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara & Santana & Ortiz & Jake Hager vs. MJF & Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler & Shawn Spears & Wardlow - This is a "Stadium Stampede" match, so the contest will start in a wrestling ring set up on the 50-yard line of TIAA Bank Field. There are no disqualifications and falls count anywhere, so basically both teams can brawl all over the stadium until one guy scores a pin or submission on someone from the other team. If the Pinnacle (MJF's team) wins, then Jericho's Inner Circle will be forced to disband forever.

The Jericho/MJF rivalry has been brewing since the fall of 2019, when the subject of MJF joining the Inner Circle was broached. MJF (and Wardlow) finally joined up a year later, but it was all a plot to destroy the group from within to make way for the Pinnacle. The original five members of the Inner Circle stayed together and collectively turned babyface. The Pinnacle defeated the Inner Circle in a "blood & guts" cage match, where Jericho suffered a real dislocation in his elbow, but the Inner Circle demanded another chance to settle the score. So MJF challenged them to this match, knowing that Jericho's squad lost the first Stadium Stampede last year.

The first stadium match worked because they took full advantage of the format to do a lot of wacky comedy and absurd brawling spots. I don't think these teams can replicate that here, and really shouldn't try. They'll be better off focusing on the brutality of this blood feud and the dangers of an unfamiliar environment. Last year's match was all about finding new things to jump off of that nobody ever used in a wrestling match before. This one should be about finding new ways to hurt people.

I can't see the Inner Circle actually breaking up here, because there's a lot more left for them to do. In theory you could do it and just have Jericho keep targeting MJF all on his own. But they also still need to do Santana & Ortiz vs. Harwood & Wheeler, and Guevara vs. Spears, and I'd even be up for Hager vs. Wardlow. So it makes more sense to just give the Inner Circle the win here, although I can't deny that it's possible they could surprise me.

Kenny Omega vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy - This is a three-way match for Omega's AEW men's world championship, so the first man to score a fall on either opponent wins the match and the title. Omega's other championships--the Impact world title and AAA mega title--are not at stake.

As far as I can tell this match was always supposed to be a three-way. A Pac vs. Cassidy match on May 12 was set to decide Omega's next challenger and booked to go a time-limit draw. Omega would then argue that neither man won a title match, only to be overruled and have to face both of them, in a bit we've seen a million times. However, in the match Orange got legit knocked out. So instead of just declaring Pac the winner and sole challenger, which would make more sense anyway, they had to do some wacky hijinx to get back on the stupid track to their stupid draw to do the stupid trope for a stupid three-way.

So yeah, I'm not thrilled with this match, because nothing about it is more interesting to me than if the May 12 match had a winner and this match was one-on-one. Orange just beating Pac to earn the biggest match of his career would have been cool. Orange losing to Pac, so that it takes longer for him to prove he belongs in the main event, would have been cool. But a three-way just says to me "we don't think either of these challengers is a credible draw on their own, and you won't either after they both lose at the same time." Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if WWE hadn't run this sort of thing into the ground, but they did.

Anyway, Omega probably steals a pin from Orange, and the announcers all squabble with Don Callis for 25 minutes. I would really like to see this Omega heel run actually start going somewhere.

Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston - The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick) are defending the AEW tag team title. The Moxley-Kingston alliance came about when Eddie set aside their differences to rescue Mox from the exploding ring on March 7. But the ring didn't explode, so both of them wanted to beat up Kenny Omega for embarrassing them. But they couldn't get at Omega becaue his faction kept getting in the way, and then the Bucks turned on Moxley to join Omega's faction. So Moxley and Kingston started targeting the Bucks, and by the time they stole the Bucks' fancy designer sneakers we had a title match.

I think I actually find the Bucks less irritating as heels than as babyfaces. When they're bad guys, they spend half of their time being all insider-y, like "WOW THAT SURE WAS AN EVIL THING WE JUST DID, THAT SURE WILL GET SOME 'HEEL' 'HEAT' FROM THE 'MARKS' LOL." But when they're good guys, they devote that time to being all "WOW THIS SURE WOULD BE A GOOD OPPORTUNITY FOR A 'HEEL' 'TURN' BUT WE'RE NOT GOING TO DO IT YET YOU 'MARKS' LOL." At least now they're supposed to be annoying.

The biggest missing piece in the Bucks' current heel run has been a team that won't take their crap and just punches each of them in the mouth. So Moxley and Kingston are really the perfect opponents for them right now. Like, I really buy that the Bucks have bitten off more than they can chew here. But I also believe that Mox and Eddie's deathmathch powers won't save them if they get cold spray in their eyes. So it averages out to an even fight, which I like.

I wouldn't book the Bucks to drop the title at this particular time, but I can see where it'd be hot for Moxley and Kingston to cement their bond as a team and get a short title run to set up a rematch.

Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker - Baker is challenging for the AEW women's world title, which Shida has held for just over a year. It's been a tough run for Shida, being booked as a dominant champion in an empty building, while Baker got all the glory of getting built up as a cult favorite heel. The fandom is impatient for a title change, and specifically for Baker to get the belt. I knew all along that we'd get here eventually, and the long wait would build it up, but it still feels hotter than I expected.

I kind of want to consider the possibility of Shida surprising everyone by retaining. But I think fans would be genuinely pissed if that happened, after waiting so long to see Baker's "coronation." So this is definitely one match where the "predictable" outcome is the right one. Baker should win the title and feud with all the faces she clobbered to get here for the next year. Shida should have to climb her way up to a big rematch down the line.

Sting & Darby Allin vs. Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page - Sky and Page sort of got thrown together because they both have the same "bellyache about not getting opportunities" gimmick. To that end, they both targeted Darby Allin, but instead of challenging him for the TNT championship they caused him to lose it to Miro. So now they're going to get their asses beat by Darby and his buddy Sting, while Miro gets a big PPV title match. You guys might want to review your strategy.

When Sting joined AEW with the intent to work matches, I think everybody assumed he'd just do "cinematic" matches like the pre-taped brawl on the March 7 show. However, AEW went out of their way to say this will be a normal tag team match in the arena, live in front of the fans. It'll be his first "real" match since September 20, 2015, when a bad bump forced him to retire. I sure hope they know what they're doing.

It's conceivable that Page and Sky will get the win, but it makes more sense to me for Allin to get the momentum on his way to rematch with Miro. Also, I think they'll want to give the live crowd a feel-good moment with Sting getting his hand raised.

Miro vs. Lance Archer - Miro won the TNT championship from Darby Allin a couple of weeks ago, and now Allin's busy with Pafge and Sky so that clears the way for Archer to step up and demand a shot. I felt like neither of these guys got their full due in WWE/NJPW, so it's especially rewarding to see them both get pushed in AEW and then beat the crap out of each other in a MEAN GUY MATCH~!

The money is in building to a Miro vs. Allin rematch for the title, so I don't think Archer is winning the belt and I sure don't think Miro is losing it this early. So this isn't about who'll win so much as it's about BIG MEATY MEN...SLAPPING MEAT.

Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo - Ogogo won the bronze medal for middleweight boxing in the 2012 Olympics, but of late he's been training at the wrestling school started by Cody Rhodes and QT Marshall. Then QT turned on Cody, taking several students with him to form a faction called "The Factory." Cody got revenge on Marshall, but Ogogo hit Cody with his deadly body blow. Cody can out-wrestle Ogogo, but it won't matter if Ogogo lands that one punch again.

That's what the story of the match actually is. For some reason, Cody thinks it has to do with whether the United States sucks or rules. Basically, this is the same time of year that the Great American Bash would be held, and Cody wants to take up his dad's "The American Dream" moniker for one night weekend only, so that's how he's justifying it. So yeah.

Cody's storylines seem to operate in a parallel universe from the rest of AEW, but if you go along with that and buy what he's selling, it works. I can't decide if it's more important to deliver the happy ending for the white-meat babyface or to put heat on the up-and-coming future star. It probably depends on whether Ogogo's ready for a sustained push, and we won't know that until we see how he performs in this match.

Hangman Page vs. Brian Cage - This match actually relates to the company's rankings, in that Page was the #1 contender until a loss to Cage knocked him down a peg. So the inevitable rise of Page to complete his story arc by challenging his ex-partner for the world title can't proceed becaue Brian Cage is in the way. That's enough to get me motivated.

Cage has been lowkey teasing a face turn since he and Ricky Starks lost to Sting and Darby Allin. That's mainly important because Page is playing into that, suggesting he expected more integrity from Cage than the rest of Team Taz and daring him not to bring his goons to the match. It feels natural for Cage to lose this match because he refuses to accept help from his heel allies, who then turn on him for doing the right thing. Then again, Cage could just win to send Page spiraling further into despair and drag that issue out a while longer. But I really hope we're done with that.

21-man Casino Battle Royale - This is a gauntlet battle royale with timed entry, sort of like WWE's Royal Rumble, but five wrestlers start the match and every three minutes another five enter, until the 21st man enters alone. Once a wrestler enters the match, he can be eliminated at any time by exiting the ring over the top rope and landing on the floor. The match can only end once everyone has entered, and all but one is eliminated; the last man in the ring wins the match and a future world title shot.

Twenty of the 21 participants have been announced: Anthony Bowens, The Blade, Brian Pillman Jr., Christian Cage, Colt Cabana, Dustin Rhodes, Evil Uno, Griff Garrison, Isiah Kassidy, Jungle Boy, Lee Johnson, Marq Quen, Matt Hardy, Matt Sydal, Max Caster, Nick Comoroto, Penta El 0M, Powerhouse Hobbs, Preston Vance, and QT Marshall. The final participant hasn't been named; I'm guessing he'll just happen to enter last as luck #21.

A lot of AEW's factions are represented in this match, but the Hardy Family Office stands out for getting four of their guys (Blade, Hardy, Quen, and Kassidy) in this thing. I'm interested to see if that plays into the story of the match. But the heavy favorites have to be Christian Cage (a big acquisition that is already on track for a title match later this year) and whoever the mystery man is. Of course, last year's surprise entrant was Matt Sydal, so don't assume this one is going to be a huge deal.

Serena Deeb vs. Riho - Deeb is defending the NWA women's world championship on the pre-show. We haven't seen a lot of either of these women lately, because Deeb was out with an injury and Riho's international travel has been severely limited by the pandemic. (The NWA itself has also been out of commission for months, but they're back and probably anxious to book the winner of this match on one of their shows.)

So this match feels like it came out of nowhere, but it still manages to feel important. I mean, Riho ought to be the favorite, but doing a title change with another group's belt is no small thing. I'm really not sure what's going to happen, which is more buzz than I usually get for a pre-show match.

Reader x Embry Call

(In this Jake never imprints on Nessie, he ends up imprinting on a girl his age named Callie)

Black mechanics had a busy day. Three customers showed up without calling in, and Jacob was livid. Hot sun beating down on the garage only made it ten times hotter inside. A quileute wolf's blood ran naturally warm without humidity blasting them. Garages usually stayed open for 8 hours in the area, but Jake was usually willing to work however long until he was exhausted.

Today was different. His sweet Callie was waiting for him and he had to miss seeing her. Jake's temper was slowly slipping out of grasp. Quil and Embry, hired as mechanics, noticed his anger and were giving eachother annoyed looks as Jake kept snapping at them.

To progress, each man worked on a different vehicle. Embry and Quil liked to joke around while they worked, but this day Jake was not a fan. Embry smiled as Quil tripped over a wire. The two shared a look and busted out laughing. Jake rolled his eyes and bit his tongue from saying anything.

"Quil, hand me the light dude." Jake said ten minutes later.

"I don't know where it is. Em had it last." Quil retorted, his long frame coming out from under the truck he had been working under. Motor oil smeared on his face as he rubbed it sheepishly from Jake's hard stare.

"It's a big fucking light, how do you not know where it is?" Jake stone voice pierced the air.

Embry rolled his eyes. Jake was being irritating. None of them were in a peachy mood and he wasn't making it any better. Hostile environments also weren't Embry's thing. He just wanted to defuse the situation.

"Here."

Jake nodded his head in acknowledgement as he took the light. Embry flipped him off when he wasn't looking before returning to his task. For a while work was carried out silently, only old 80's songs playing lightly could be heard. Although the atmosphere was calm, inside Jake wasn't. His veins were pulsating as he fumbled to still work. God, he wanted to be home. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.

Embry's imprint and wife, Y/N, and Callie pulled into the parking lot of the shop and parker up as close as she could to avoid getting drenched by the rain on her way in. La Push was rain 70% of the time. Either adapt or hate life.

Embry called his wife an hour earlier to tell her to not make dinner for him and Quil because they wouldn't be home for a long time. His tone held guilt and sorry as he explained it, but his lovely woman assured him that it was fine. Nothing to fret over.

Y/N was annoyed at whoever dropped off their vehicles without calling in because it set the boys back. Why the boys agreed to work on them was beyond her. Good men, the three of them were.

She knew that the mechanics wouldn't go get food if so much was left to do, so she bought Chinese food and decided to surprise them. Ordering 5 containers of general tsos, 3 containers of orange chicken and 4 boxes of fried rice was embarrassing, but she still did it out of love.

She called Callie to come with her because Jake was taking a tantrum about his soiled evening, and she wanted to put him in a better mood. Not only for his sake, but the guys too. Y/N didn't appreciate Jake's pissy attitude towards Embry and Quil, but she understood how wolves get antsy when they're away from their imprint for too long. Hell, she even got cranky when she didn't see Em for a while.

Together they grabbed the food, plates, cups and drinks and ran for the door. Before they could open it, Quil pulled it open and stepped aside.

"Ooh, ladies.." his eyes wandered across the bags and his nose picked up on the smell, "Yes! Ladies with food! It's as if you heard our grumbling stomachs. Have I ever said how much I love you guys?"

Y/N kissed his cheek as he took some of the bags from you to help, "love you too, kid."

Jake stood up and ran to Callie, kissing her face all over and spinning her around. The couple's intimate moment was alike every time a wolf saw their imprint after being apart. Y/N grinned, happy to have helped.

Embry wiped his hands off on a rag before coming to take the rest of the bags from Y/N while giving her a peck on the lips. She hummed in pure bliss at his close proximity. They set the food down on the back table and we're grabbing benches and random chairs to sit.

"You're my savior, like always. Missed you so much today." Embry whispered into Y/N's ear from behind as he wrapped his arms around her.

She laughed, body naturally melting back into him, "I missed you too, lover boy. C'mon, let's eat guys. You must be starved."

Five adults chewed, laughed, and talked happily as they enjoyed their well deserved dinner. The chemistry between the group was buzzing as they shared stories about how their day went.

"Jake was a dick all day. If it weren't for you guys showing up, we may have killed him." Quil exaggerated, winking at Embry.

"I was a dick. M' sorry about that, didn't mean to take it out on you guys because it wasn't fair. But God damn, how do people not have the common courtesy to not just drop their shit off?" Jake ranted, shaking his head in utter disbelief.

Callie patted his arm, "People are half wits, Jacob. Dealing with them comes with running a business," she turned to the boys with a beautiful smile on her cheerful face, "thank you for dealing with the grumpy guy all day."

"His anger was reasonable cuz we were frustrated too- I had been itching to get home to Y/N." Embry confessed, looking at his wife that was showing orange chicken in her mouth.

She caught his eyes and shrugged with a blush as she shoved the rest of it in, "good food.." she mumbled.

Embry chuckled, admiring how goofy the love of his life was. Y/N was just so refreshing to see after the shitty day he had and her showing up washed his bad attitude away. Now he was all smiles. They all were.

"Tomorrow I say we have a fun day at the beach and later have a fire or something. Relax and unwind a bit, yanno?" Quil brought up, his tongue poking out to lick the sauce at the side of his mouth. A chorus of yes came from the group.

Y/N wiped her face with the back of her hand before picking up her fortune cookie. Her nimble fingers tore off the wrapper. She cracked the cookie and took out the little slip of paper.

"A new love is around the corner. Open your heart and it shall arrive..." She read out loud. Her face looked deep in thought as she set it down. Embry grinned at the cliche fortune, pulling her close for a second to kiss her forehead.

"Lame. Your man is right there. Let's hope my fortune is better." Callie said, grabbing hers.

"Actually... It's kind of right. I was going to tell you in a more thought out way but now is good... Embry, I'm pregnant." Y/N softly said, her eyes staring deep into his.

Everyone's mouth dropped in surprise at the news. Embry quickly grabbed her face in his large hands and kissed her passionately, the warmth of his hands seeping into her skin. Callie, Jake, and Quil clapped as he pulled away and rested his forehead against hers for a moment. He smiled smittenly and shook his head, pulling her into his lap to hold her close.

"There goes my wine drinking buddy.." Callie teased, nudging Y/N's foot with hers.

"Got that right, Y/N will not be drinking. Or doing anything remotely dangerous." Embry sternly said, pulling her closer to him with a kiss to her hair.

Quil snorted, "This will be a fun 9 months of Y/N living in bubble wrap.."

"Uh huh" she protested. The group laughed as they all set into a comfortable silence. The couple would be the first out of the pack to have a kid, even before Sam and Emily.

"Happy for you man" Jake said with a nod of his head.

"Thanks Jake... Wow, this day really went from shit to one of the best days of my entire life." Embry beamed.

Rest of the evening was spent talking about potential baby names. Some silly ones were thrown out there, but it was nice to get ideas. Y/N and Embry shared a look and knew immediately that their baby would be loved by their aunts and uncles. But of course, not more than he or she was loved by their parents.

The Last War fan review

So, our beloved show has ended. And while I wish things would have gone differently, I did cry with relief when Clarke looked over and saw everyone already waiting for her.

Anyway, I wanted to share some of my thoughts on the finale.

1) Going right into the title sequence kind of shocked me. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but I was just immediately like “oh.” It was a bitch-slap in the face that they left a gap in the credits for Bob Morley. Why you gotta do us like that?

2) Murphy screaming “come on” while they used the defibrillator on Emori was heartbreaking. And his little whispered encouragements were so freaking cute.

3) Clarke rampage? Yes, please! I love me a badass woman. However, unlimited ammo is a sin in writing. The moment Octavia picked up the sword was a big “oh yes.”

4) Did Cadogan not care about his son like at all? Lmao. Why is he so hung up on Callie and not his other kid (who I can’t even remember the name of). I don’t care if they explain in the prequel, that’s still a shitty parent choosing favorites. Along with his wife, like, was she not his greatest love? It was Callie? Kinda fucked up.

5) Why the fuck could Jordan figure out it was a test and not a war in 5 seconds when the Disciples were studying that shit for decades? I know he’s Monty’s son, but he’s not a genius or anything.

6) Thoughts on the test: I think Cadogan would have failed and the human race would be destroyed. Why bother asking questions if you already know all the answers?

7) Why wasn’t Gaia in the finale like at all?? Like, what the fuck. She was hunting??? For what?? That really annoyed me because I’ve grown to really like her and there was no point in her not being involved in the last episode. They seriously couldn’t have thrown her in there? Like, come on! Even Niylah was there! (not saying that I don’t like her, it’s just that Gaia has felt far more important to the story than her).

8) I do think that Jasper and Hope are cute together, and I know they spent the majority of their lives either alone or only with their parents, but GOD I can’t stand how awkward they are. Also, I know ya’ll have feelings for each other and shit, but is now really the time to be making out?? Why do people think that’s okay in literally the worst situations? I know it’s a show, but come on.

9) And how the fuck did Jordan throw and catch that sword? He’s a child who’s never fought a day in his life. Unless they suddenly want to tell me that Harper and Monty were secret ninjas and taught him all their tricks, I don’t believe that.

10) I’m being pissy and bringing up things from the past, but I don’t care. Why the fuck couldn’t Harper and Monty gone into cryo? I know they were happy and shit, but I’M NOT. How the fuck did it take so long for him to get into the files for Sanctum? His ass has done that shit a thousand times before in about two minutes and suddenly it takes him 80 years? Bullshit.

11) I’m still being pissy, but how the fuck does Jordan know what a magician is? “For my first trick, I will make an army appear.” Bruh, no. Monty wouldn’t have known what a magician was either. If they weren’t being taught what a Navy Seal was, there’s no way they knew what magicians were. Calling bullshit on that one as well.

12) I was pretty surprised that the Disciples didn’t start firing on Wonkru immediately. Like, this is the war they’ve been gearing up for forever and they don’t attack as soon as possible? Also, where the fuck did Wonkru get their war paint? Do they just constantly have it on their person? Or did their asses literally spend time making their paint before going to Bardo?

13) I fucking love Miller and Jackson. They’re freaking adorable. Murphy’s flat “I am glad you are safe” was so fucking funny. Also, saving Emori in one scene just to kill her in the next is bullshit. They should have just killed her the first time and done the same thing anyway. Murphy screaming at Jackson to do something and sobbing was heartbreaking. Fantastic acting on Richard Harmon’s part.

14)  Octavia putting on Lincoln’s same warpaint again was once again, so sad. I miss that man. He was too good for his own good. And while I do think that her and Levitt are very cute together, I’ll always prefer her with Lincoln. But I think that he would be really happy that she has found someone new to love.

15) Apparently whatever Echo “did” to Levitt was so forgettable that I don’t even know what she’s talking about. Bad writing. I shouldn’t forget that in just a few weeks, I should remember as soon as I see the two of them in the same room.

16) Lexa. Just all of it. There were some suspicions that she would show up for the last episode, but I didn’t really believe them because I didn’t understand how she would be integrated. I’m glad that they did bring her back, but I’m also not. It was amazing to see her back by Clarke in all of her armor and glory, but knowing it wasn’t actually Lexa was just a punch in the face. It wasn’t her mind, so it’s almost like they didn’t bring her back anyway. I honestly would have preferred if they used someone else for her Judge, because that just really didn’t do it for me. Their hug was sweet, but it didn’t even count as her returning. I personally think that her Judge should have been Bellamy or Madi instead, as they both certainly could fill the role of “the subject’s greatest teacher or the source of their greatest failure...it can be their greatest love.” This is just my preference. Believe me, I know how much Lexa meant to Clarke, but as a fan, bringing our favorite Heda back in that way wasn’t the best way to do it. As a writer, it makes sense, but it doesn’t as a fan. The writers can’t just think of what is the best storytelling, they have to think of what those watching will think.

17) I’m confused about the mindspace? Why did Clarke wake up in her solitary room with her memories painted all over the walls, but Emori woke up in the castle with a view of the desert? Why wouldn’t it have been her and Murphy’s cave? Is there a reason it was the bedroom and not the cave?

18) I know this isn’t canon in any sense, but could you imagine if Murphy and Emori fought over John’s body and she won, and then suddenly woke up with a penis? How fucking funny would that be? Just had to throw that out there.

19) Can I just again reiterate how fucking cute Miller and Jackson are?

20) I’m curious about the location of the test. Why did Cadogan’s take place on a pier, while Raven’s happened on the Ark? If it was their favorite place, wouldn’t Raven’s have been actually out in space? Like during a spacewalk? I’m confused about that.

21) I knew that Raven was somehow going to be involved in the test just because of the trailers we got for the final episode. My two guesses for who the judge would be were Finn and Abby. Though I am happy that we got to see Abby again, I would be curious to see if the scene would have played out any differently if it had been Finn.

22) Where was the full line that was given in the trailer? Because that was amazing. “We’re selfish, and we’re violent, and we have destroyed too much, but we survived.” I loved that line far more than what we got instead, which was simply, “Have we made mistakes? Yes. Clarke, me, all of us, but we were just trying to survive.” I definitely would have chosen the former over the latter. Poor choice on the editors’ parts.

23) How the fuck did Octavia and Echo go out to the field and get Levitt with Echo only being shot once? With all the bullets, the three of them should have been torn apart, I don’t care how much Indra could cover Octavia. Calling bullshit on that as well.

24) Bringing this up kind of late because I’m giving my reviews as I’m rewatching the episode, but what they had Eliza do was really fucked up. Her and Bob suffered a miscarriage during the filming of season seven, so the scene of her holding Madi and crying “my baby” is like 10 times more heartbreaking. If they made her film that after having a miscarriage mere days, weeks or few months before, that’s really, really messed up.

25) They really played-up Sheidheda’s bringing back of “jus drein jus daun” in the trailer. In reality, it was far less intense. I would have preferred what I had been expecting, which was him coming to help convince Wonkru that they would be able to win. However, I am super glad that he is dead and Indra finally got to kill him. I love how that bigass gun just turns people into mist lol.

26) The beginning of Octavia’s speech was literally like “what the FUCK guys” and it was hilarious. And I swear to god if I hear her say “we are Wonkru” or “you are Wonkru” another time, I’m gonna scream. I know it was legit the last episode but I’m sick of it by now lol. When Indra was like “I hope you know what you’re doing,” Octavia’s face was just like “omg me too” and it was really funny.

27) Bellamy. His situation was a whole problem itself. He deserved a hell of a lot better and wHY DID HE CUT HIS HAIR I LIKED IT THE LONG WAY. Anyway, you can bet your ass I’ll be writing a different ending where he didn’t die because FUCK THAT. When I do, I’ll be sure to share it.

28) I’m fucking confused about Murphy and Emori both transcending. Because, what the fuck. Emori died. The dead don’t transcend. Her mind wasn’t even in her body, it was in Murphy’s. So how the fuck did she end up alive and in her own body again. I’m glad she’s alive, but I just don’t understand. It would have made way more sense to have either not had her die in the first place, or to have Murphy, Miller, and Jackson keep pumping her heart so she technically “lived” anyway like Echo.

29) If Madi had decided not to transcend, would she still have been paralyzed? I mean, I would assume not because Levitt and Hope’s gunshots were healed, as was Emori, but I’m curious. Also, wouldn’t Raven’s leg have been fixed? Because if they only fix recent wounds and not old ones, that’s stupid.

30) On the point of Madi deciding not to transcend, why did she? Why didn’t so many other people choose not to? Like, not one Eligius prisoner or person from Sanctum chose to live? No one else from Wonkru? Why didn’t anyone else other than the main cast and guest stars not transcend? I totally understand the Disciples transcending, but seriously, nobody else wanted to live? That’s really weird. Madi and her friends really couldn’t have chosen to live on Earth with Clarke and the others? I just think it’s really unrealistic that not one single person outside of the group chose not to transcend.

31) I was really surprised that Murphy and Emori chose not to transcend, because as the Judge said, they would eventually die and not join them in the infinite. It shocked me due to their fear of dying and wanting to be immortal, but I’m really proud of them.

32) I’m disappointed that those who don’t transcend can’t have children. There were suspicions that Emori might have been pregnant (which were never confirmed), but the idea of her and Murphy having a kid together was adorable. They’d have their teeny tiny families with those two, Hope and Jordan, and Octavia and Levitt.

33) This isn’t as much me pointing out a problem as me wondering, what was Clarke going to say to the Judge when she turned around? What else did she have to say or ask? Was it about Madi? Or maybe Lexa? Or just transcending in general?

34) It’s pretty shitty that some of our questions went unanswered due to the fact that there will be a prequel. On the other hand, I live for lore, so I’m just glad that they eventually will be answered. But still, that doesn’t excuse shitty writing.

35) I want to see a stupid edit of Picasso taking the test where the Judge is Madi.

I think we all know that season seven was really not what we wanted it to be. We’ve been really disappointed by the writers and unfortunately, this is what we got out of it. I believe they really could have done a better job, but I am at least glad that everyone ended up together.

The writing was lacking. Too many questions were left unanswered, I don’t care if you’re making a sequel or not. Plot holes. It really could have been a good season if it was done better.

My ranking of the seasons is as follows: 3, 2, 4, 1, 6, 5, 7. Seasons 4 and 1 are kind of interchangeable for me in spots three and four, as are 6 and 5 in the two spots behind them, whatever the order may be.

But I still love the show. I love the characters, their development, and many things about it. It has been quite the journey and I am glad to have been a fan of the show.

Spoilers for The 100

Kay, so, I’m writing this almost immediately after the series finale so my thoughts will probably be very disorganized. No, they will be.

First of all, the way I screamed when I saw Lexa.

It was sorta bittersweet though, it wasn’t really Lexa, so that hurt a lot. But it was still really nice to see her again. Even got a Clexa hug (clarke should’ve kissed her🙃) 

Secondly, I cried so much lmao.

The way Clarke killed Cadogan was kinda anticlimactic, but at least we got to see him bleed. It was cool seeing Callie too.

The whole transcending thing was kinda “eh” for me, but I did sob when O said Bellamy was right. I’m glad he was.

Abby. Ngl, I almost thought Raven was gonna see Finn, but whatever. I stopped really liking Abby back in season 5, so it wasn’t really a big gut puncher.

Omg, Octavia’s speech. She is the best character period.

Emori and Murphy. Goddamn, I was SWEATING. Out of ALL of the characters, I wanted him and Octavia to make it out alive. So when Murphy put Emori’s mind drive in his head, I cried...again. Cause I knew that meant he’d die eventually. And I could handle Emori dying, but not my precious cockroach. So I was relieved when they all turned to fairy dust. 

God, the fucking parallels to the beginning of season 5 when Clarke was on Earth alone after Praimfaya. Had me crying as well. I couldn’t even bear the thought of her staying alone until she died, at least she had Picasso.

“LEXA” AGAIN.

As soon as Clarke started saying that “she didn’t want to be alone,” I fuckin knew someone was gonna show up. I’ll admit, I was clowning and really hoping Bellamy was gonna show up and be like, “You’re not alone, princess.” But oh well.

The ending where everyone chose to be with Clarke instead was really sweet. And oml, Clurphy hug. Finally!

I was crying already, but what would’ve made me choke on tears is if Bellamy somehow made it. Like, he believed in the transcending bullshit. It was NOT fair of him to be left out when he was there from the very beginning. He deserved to transcend more than anyone. Bell deserved happiness so bad.

All in all, I’m pretty disappointed with how this season has gone. Shitty writing, shitty character development. The real Bellamy would not betray his friends, not even for his “religion.” The real Clarke would not shoot her best friend without doing everything she possibly could to avoid it. Echope also should’ve been a thing, but oh well.

JRoth is the pettiest man on the planet. I wholeheartedly believe he did the leads so dirty is because of personal conflicts with the actors. Eliza and Bob are terrible people and who knows how horrible they were on set. If it wasn’t for the fact that this happened before with Ricky, I could’ve believed it was justified. But if seems to me that JRoth writes off or ruins their character because he doesn’t get along with the actors. That’s extremely unprofessional. The “soulmates” probably were too, but I’ve always been told two wrongs don’t make a right.

Killing off characters just to spite someone is not fair, especially to the fans.

Spending years to develop these fictional people just to kill them off for no reason. Absolutely crazy. That leads me to other thing.

Bellarke.

I just, it’s so weird to me. Probably the most buildup between two characters I’ve ever seen, just to end the way it does.

“Together.” “If I’m on that list, you’re on that list.” “You’re crazy if you think I’m letting you do this alone.” “You want forgiveness, I’ll give that to you. You’re forgiven.” “Please, I’ll do anything. I’ll stop fighting. Just please don’t kill him.”

Countless other quotes and shit.

LIKE?!?!?! 

All the hugs! The longing gazes! Even Lexa herself said that Clarke cared about Bellamy more than anyone else!!! ?? I am confusion.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’d be all heart eyes if someone I cared about said those things to me/about me. I’m a Bellarke shipper, so it’s biased. But I really cannot see how any of those phrases or actions can be seen as “Platonic.”

...none of my friend(s) say or do those things lol.

I’m rambling so this probably doesn’t even make sense anymore.

Clexa. Bellarke. I love all the ships, especially those two.

It’s been a long journey. Full of pain mostly. But it’s done. It’s over. I adored this show, even all its mistakes. It has been my favorite show for years. I’m happy for all the characters that they get to live in peace now, maybe even the dead ones have found peace wherever they are.

I would say may we meet again, but I really don’t. ✌🏼

I honestly am not a fan of birds in real life. The only species that’s bird like that I like in animal crossing are the ducks, but then again I’ve only seen a couple(like ketchup who’s just fricken adorable). With that fact and that I just...don’t like how she looks...yea.

Honestly I really like her, but I don’t like her as much as the others. She and puddles kind of are on the same level, but puddles has said and done more things that make me smile than Cally. My only issue with her is she keeps stealing catchphrase from everyone else, and it’s so often that I don’t have the chance to have isabell make her stop.

Puddles makes me smile more. Gives me a lot more cute clothes, has said a lot of cute things. And she’s just an adorable happy pink frog who wants to be a famous actress or something, but you totally know she would not forget you once she became famous.

This girl lives up to her personality. She is one of my first villagers and is just so OG. If someone made a gijinka she would be a boss ass black girl who I would want as my best friend. She is awesome. Love her. Also for some reason made her kind of English in my game(I changed her catchphrase to “luv”)

This boy is a sweetheart once you get to talking to him. At one point he has said “my day has started off great! It started off with talking to you!” Or something along those lines and he just...melted my heart. Plus he is a dapper little thing. Look at that suit. AND his name sounds like cheddar, which is cheese which is what he looks like. Granted he doesn’t look like cheddar cheese, but i like the play on his name.

3: Fang

Fang is like the cool grandpa you want to have. He is a sweetie and is so pretty. He was my first canine villager, which is a big deal since my island name is “Puppy”. It took me what felt like forever to find when I was trying to find a canine villager. He also calls me kiddo sometimes and I love it!

Punchy is me if I were a cat. No questions asked. Ok maybe some. The bugs are a thing but w/e. He is adorable, always looks like he’s kinda smug(or high), HAS THE TINIEST BEANS!!!!!! I think I’ve given him more stuff on his makeshift “porch” than anyone else cus I love him. He is so cute in rain gear and is always happy with whatever I give him. He also likes to naruto run a lot and it’s freaking adorable. Earlier he was chillin in the sun with some adorable shades and...ugh. My heart. Also I made is catchphrase “nya”.

HE IS A FUCKING NINJA BUNNY!!!!!!! AN ADORABLE PINK NINJA BUNNY!!!!! He is super sweet and is always happy to see me, even when I say hi to him multiple times a day. Plus his home is like...very simple zen style with bamboo and stuff. He talks about working out but he is just so small and fluffy it’s hard to take him seriously. It’s easy to shop for him because you know what stuff he’s going to like(sporty stuff). He’s just an awesome little guy. I want ten more..

Approaching the door, Cecil Felt Cell standing close

Cecil looked down at her, seeing her shaking out of fear. Before he could say anything, Mella stood in front of the door

“You can’t come in.” Mella stated “If any of their fans saw, they’d come charging demanding entry...”  “Granted, Callie did pay me a visit and no fans showed up...” Cecil replied “But thats fine, Cell seems to scared to enter. “S-Sorry..” She said quietly. Cecil placed a hand on her head as she hid more behind him.

Dee knelt down “Camera shy Cell?” He asked “Thats okay, I’m sure Callie and Marie will be more then happy to come out to meet you instead. “What part of “Fans come charging” didn’t you get, Dee?” Mella said annoyed “Lighten up, besides the fans didn’t come when Callie and Marie let their friends in.”  “Um, yeah. Because everyone knows their friends, so of course they won’t. Especially when one of Callie’s friends is a colossal squid.. These 3 are complete strangers from the poor part of this city supprised those clothes are clean I’ll be honest” Mella replied.

Mercury looked at Mella “Said the hag with the poor attitude.” Mella turned to face Mercury “What was that!?!? “ “What would you know about us?!?! Cell and I were left to die in some damn prison and nearly died if he didn’t come save us” She pointed to Cecil. “Where the hell were you and mister big heart, huh?!?! Sitting on your asses in a warm place, nothing to worry about. They only reason you both even came here is cause that moron Callie can’t keep her mouth shut!! You don’t get to say about being poor with that cheap ass attitude!!!” 

Cecil got between Mella and Mercury. “I know what you wanna do, but don’t...” Before Cell also got infront of Cecil and Mercury. “M-Maybe we should get the song l-latter...She doesn’t want us h-here” Cell commented “Now, Now. Theres no need for that.” Dee stepped in “/Mella go get Callie and Marie, I think the walk will help calm you down.” Mella glared at Mercury. “Control your brat next time, or next time she won’t get off so lucky” She turned and began to walk away. “Alright....” Cecil said then turning to face Mercury, kneeling down

“Fucking bitch....” Mercury said “Thats enough.” “But-” Cecil interupted “I understand you were defending me, but you need to keep that part of yourself under control... “ Cecil placed his hands on her shoulders. “Do you understand?” Mercury teared up slightly “S-sorry” She cried into Cecil catching him off guard.

Dee sighed before walking up to them “Sorry about that, Mella can be a little to upfront.” He knelt down next to Mercury “Hey its okay, please don’t cry.”  “Give her some space, okay man.” Cecil said to Dee. “Might be better to go with Mella so I can get Mercury calmed down.” Dee took a moment, before nodding. Getting up and walking towards the door Mella went though.

Cell walked up “Is she okay?” she asked. “Yeah, she just needs to calm down.” Cecil replied slowly reaching up, hugging Mercury as she cried into his shirt soon Cell walked up joining in on the hug.

Top 5 Things I Liked About RWBY Volume 3

Those of you who have been following this little series of posts are probably going ‘wait a sec Callie, don’t you do the dislikes post first?” Which, yes I do, but there’s a reason why I’m doing Likes. It’s because, well... there’s not going to be a Dislikes post. I tried to think of things that I genuinely disliked about V3. I tried to think of nitpicks that I had about V3. I tried to see if there were things that I disliked back when it aired.

And I got nothing.

Yeah, I disliked nothing about V3. I had to stretch on Dislikes in V2, but here? I got nothing. I mean sure certain character deaths sucked because... well, death. But these scenes were actually done well, so I don’t dislike them. There’s a couple of little animation errors, but I can’t make a list out of that nor do those bother me since the animation is overall very good. This was my favorite volume up until V6 (and even with that I was able to come up with dislikes for it) and needless to say, this volume out of all fo them is not one that you mess around with. So instead of forcing myself to make a list I’ve got no material for, we’re skipping to Likes. Cause I’ve got plenty of those.

#5. Maiden Twist

I remember when this twist got revealed, and I was in shock... well that and because the same chapter ended in Yang being defamed and they decided to choose then to go on holiday hiatus. That was still mean RT! Okay, yeah the twist. I... really liked it! It made sense, added to the lore of the series, and really ramped upt he tension. Sure we weren’t 100% sure how the Maidens would tie into the overall plot, but V5 fixed that so any issues that I had with it are long since resolved.

I think what really makes me appreciate it is for those unaware, this twist? This was the final thing conceived by Monty before his passing in February 2015 when V3 would have been in pre-production. This was not a part of the original plan for RWBY, but Miles and Kerry decided to keep it and work with it anyone since it was Monty’s final idea. IDK what the original plan was, and we’ll probably never know, but I think that they fit it in very well. It explains why CInder has so much power. Part of why the Ozluminati is so secretive. It makes the world more interesting and as I said, adds to the lore. And the tale itself was very well done and felt like a genuine fairy tale, especially the version in World of Remnant.

The execution wasn’t 100% perfect. Like I said, the importance of the Maidens int he story wasn't made clear until V5. But considering that they had to figure out how to fit it in with the overall planned story, I say that they did very well. The rule also makes plenty of sense, and that I appreciate. I really like to applaud writers who make changes like this work, and nowadays I can't imagine RWBY without the Maidens. Would the original plan have been better? I don’t know. But I’m happy with where they took things, and I’d say that Monty’s final contribution is one that’s impact isn't fading out anytime soon.

#4. Yang Development

Okay IDK if development is the right word, but this was a good volume for Yang! Well okay for her it probably sucked. A lot. But for us watching, it... was painful. But it was good for her character arc!

Up to this point, Yang was probably the least developed of the four girls. She was a pretty girl who was really good at hitting things and was a fun, but caring friend and sister. But otherwise, she’d had little development and imo her motivation to become a Huntress was by far the weakest. But anything that she lacked she made up for in personality and even then, she was by far the fan-favorite. SHe’s... my least favorite of Team RWVY, mainly for other reasons I’ll get to when I do a later list, but I still enjoy her and she’s always been really fun.

And it made what happened in this volume all the more painful.

First, she gets framed and can’t prove her innocence. Her team gets disqualified from the Vytal Festival as a result. Then the Battle of Beacon happens! She can't do anything for her sister and therefore tries to find Blake. She finds her getting attacked by Adam, she tries to interfere, and... she loses an arm. Worst, Blake, the person she just lost a limb for runs away without so much as a goodbye. Weiss is taken away by force, and all of this along with the loss of Beacon and the multiple deaths have left Yang broken and bitter. She can’t even comfort Ruby or accept any comfort that her sister offers, and in the end just tells Ruby to go do what she wants and leave her alone. Ruby leaves sometime later, all while Yang is still sitting in bed with an empty look.

This volume was brutal for everyone, but Yang by far is one of the ones who had it the roughest. It hurts since, in the first half of the volume, she’s her usual happy, bright self and is easily winning all of her fights. She did nothing wrong but had to go through Hell all because of the villains who she did nothing to. It provides a lot of good later, which again I’ll touch on in a later list. But God it hurt to watch this when it aired. Nevertheless, it was very well executed and you just feel so bad for this girl and utterly mortified when she loses her arm just because she tried to save her teammate. A teammate who abandons her, re-awakening her abandonment issues in the process. It was hard to watch, but it was very well done and Yang’s character only goes up from this point.

#3. Weiss Development

While Weiss’ part in the volume isn't too major, her development in the first half of the volume is freakin’ great. While we had heard enough to know that Weiss's father probably sucked, this one made that much more clear and V4 hammered that in even more. We see pretty classic abuse tactics here. Jaques tries to call Weiss, and it seems like this has been going on for a while. My HC is that he receptionist lady that Weiss talked to in V2 likely told him that Weiss called but didn’t want to talk, and that caused Jaques to increase how frequently he called her. Weiss continues to ignore it, so Jaques strips her of her income so that she can't so much as buy lunch for herself. A clear warning to Weiss that even when in another continent, she’s still under her father’s lock and key.

But then Winter arrives. While she’s stern and kinda cold, Winter is clearly a good influence in Weiss’ life and a caring older sister. She not only tries to help Weiss learn her Summoning glyph, but she reveals that Jaques used the exact same method of cutting her off that he did on Weiss. Why? Because Winter joined the military and refused to remain under her father’s grip any longer. She managed to break away, and she encourages Weiss to do so as well. She’s on the right path via attending Beacon and fighting for her right to go there, and now she has the freedom to keep exploring the world and learning about herself. This gets Weiss to once more hang up on her father, determined to cut away from him for good and continue on her own path. 

It’s a powerful moment and really the sign that Weiss has truly broken free of her previous hateful midset. She’s a much kinder person than she was in V3, shown when she rejects the idea that Yang attacked Mercury unprovoked. In the Battle for Beacon, she defends Velvet, a Faunus and that allowed her to awaken her Summoning glyph. Sadly, as we all know, the Fall fo Beacon happened and Jaques took advantage of it to force Weiss to come back home. It is utterly tragic because Weiss finally got her freedom, and in an instant, it was yanked away from her. But because of these events, Weiss wasn’t going to remain a prisoner for long, and Jaques could control her no longer.

#2. Everything From PvP to The End of the Beginning

Yeah, I couldn't narrow it down to just one aspect. These final four episodes of V3 (PvP, Battle of Beacon, Heroes and Monsters, and The End of the Beginning) were just... freakin’ fantastic. It might be the four best consecutive episodes in the series as a whole. These mark the end of the Beacon Era. From this point on, the series changes big time. Things get darker. Characters are forced to mature. The stakes go up and have yet to go back down. The days of wacky school antics end here, and our heroes’ lives change to the point of no return.

IDK what to truly say tbh. All of the fights were freakin’ fantastic. Penny’s death, while heartbreaking, was appropriately dreadful as well as Cinder’s speech. The Grimm attack felt horrifying, but all the students rising up to fight back and act as true Huntsmen and Huntresses were freakin’ amazing. This was Roman’s last hurrah, and he was as fun as ever. Him dying sucked, but he brought it onto himself and Ruby interfering with him one last time, taking out Neo, and destroying the ship and taking out the Queen’s Virus was epic. But of course, Cinder gets the Maiden powers, the Wyvern attacks, and in the end, Beacon falls. But Cinder doesn't get to enjoy it, as it ends with Ruby awakening her Silver Eyes, and Cinder’s victory ends in her being brought down. Brutally. She got her power, but she was still defeated by and made to feel powerless. Which she hates more than anything else. All because of one little girl. 

The end of the volume is super depressing. Beacon is overrun by Grimm. Vale has been damaged. Weiss is forced back home. Blake runs away. Yang is depressed and demoralized. JNR lost a teammate. The villains all escaped. Ozpin is missing. Everything looks bleak. But there is still hope. Despite how she herself feels, Ruby decides that she still needs to fight on and go after the villains' trail to prevent this from happening again. She leaves home with JNR, determined to get to Mistral and make sure that no one else suffers like she and everyone at Beacon did. Dark times are ahead, but our heroes will recover, and they will forge on. But, of course, it ends with us finally meeting Salem for the first time, and we know that things are about to get much, much crazier from that point on.

This was a great series of episodes. It was dark and depressing but also shows how much the human spirit will persist and that there will always be heroes who rise up. It appropriately brought the show into its next stage, and it’s just as great of a watch as it was in 2016. But, of course, there is one thing that I glossed over while going over this. So... let's go ahead and talk about that.

#1. Pyrrha Nikos

This was, sadly, the final volume for Pyrrha. And they made sure to make this her story as much as possible. Pyrrha is recruited to be the Fall Maiden due to her world-class fighting abilities. She is understandably uncomfortable but willing to do it in order to protect people. But then she finds out that it may cost her who she is, and she is understandably terrified. We see how uncertain she is after, and who can blame her? Once again, her famous status has overcome anything else about her. But this time, she not only learned of some kind of mass world conspiracy but if she agreed to go through with the Aura Transfer, she may not be the same person ever again. She felt that being a Huntress and fighting to protect people was her destiny, but now with it standing before her, can she take it when she’s being asked to give up so much? When everything that she thought that she new has been turned onto its head within mere hours?

Not even Jaune could have help her overcome this. In any other scenario, his words of accepting destiny would be the right thing. But for Pyrrha, it just made her an emotional wreck. The poor boy did everything right, but now he thinks that he did everything wrong. Then to make things worst. Pyrrha ended up killing Penny and it broke her. Fortunately Ruby and Jaune broke her out of it, but she ultimately accepted the Maiden deal. After all, with everything in chaos and lives on the line, what else can she do? But of course, it failed cause of Cinder, and despite Oz telling her and Jaune to leave and get help... Pyrrha made her choice then and there. She kissed Jaune, knowing that it’ll be the only chance that she got to revealing her feelings, before pushing him the locker. he looked at the boy that she loves one more time as he begs her to not go back. She launched him to safety, knowing that she will never see him again.

Pyrrha knew that if she went back into the tower, she wasn’t going to come back out alive. She knew that she was going to die. But she was a Huntress. She signed up for that life because she wanted to do good. She wanted to help people. he felt as if that was her destiny. Even though she knew that she couldn’t beat Cinder, it was her duty to fight. Whatever good that she could do, she decided to do. She went back in, and she gave it her all. And she gave Cinder one Hell of a fight. But of course, Cinder ultimately won. Pyrrha remained defiant to the end, accepting her fate. Cinder shoots Pyrrha with an arrow, and the girl that everyone thought was unbeatable, was reduced to ashes.

Pyrrha was a fantastic character. She was kind, caring, strong, and above all selfless. She aided and trained Jaune despite everyone else dismissing him as a buffoon. She encouraged Jaune in his pursuit fo Weiss, despite her own feelings towards him. Despite all the fear and doubt that she felt and Ozpin offering her an out at the very end, Pyrrha accepted the Maiden powers and whatever the end result would have been because it was the right thing to do. And despite knowing that doing so would end in her own death, Pyrrha still faced Cinder, willing to do whatever she could do to stop Cinder. While she died, it wasn't in vain as Ruby’s arrival ensured that Cinder’s victory would cost her. A true pyrrhic victory.

In the end, Pyrrha embodied what a true Huntress should be. Selfless, dedicated, and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the people. Even now, the impact of her death can be felt. Jaune, of course, was broken by it and it wasn't until V6 that he began to find closure and move on. Ruby still feels guilty over how she failed to save her and has PTSD from it and V5 and demonstrated. Team JNPR will never truly feel whole again after the loss. But even so, they all have pushed forward and have decided to keep living. For Pyrrha. Even in death, she’ll still always be there with them, and they can continue to honor her memory. Pyrrha may be gone, but her spirit will always live on.

You & Me - Part Twelve

Callie's POV

You stayed in Niall's bedroom for an hour after Kim and Sam had left. Curled up with each other on his bed, kissing, talking and kissing some more. Both of you agreed that you couldn't let everything that was happening with Saskia come between you. 

Niall had done nothing wrong, they'd dated, he decided to end it and he told her straight and kindly. He didn't ghost her or behave rudely to her, in fact you thought he had been too nice to her over the last few months. When she had turned up at rehearsals and at the Dublin gig, he had been polite to her, even when she was screaming at him for ending it. He had been verbally abused by her on numerous occasions and had taken it.

To say it broke your heart at how much it was affecting him was an understatement. His album was to be released in less than a month, he had interviews and performances to do. But he was a true professional and wasn't going to let it effect the buzz he was feeling at finally sharing his 18 months of hard work.

After the stress of the meeting with Kim and Sam, the group decided to chill out at home for Bex and Willie's last day in L.A. Although Saskia wasn't a physical threat to either of you, you were still worried about him, Mully and Willie going to the grocery store to get some supplies for a bbq.

"We will be fine." He said, as he ran his hands up and down your arms reassuringly before leaning in and kissing you goodbye.

He had been warned that although the court order prevented her from being near him, that didn't mean that she hadn't tipped off other paps to follow him with the prospect of an exclusive. Niall had a strict policy of never talking about his dating life. He was here to be a musician and talk about his music and interests, not his love life.

With the lads gone and the security gate and front door securely locked, you made your way through to the kitchen.  You were desperate to talk to Bex alone, she was always the voice of reason.

Making another coffee for you both, you sat down at the kitchen table, the patio doors open letting the lunchtime sun in.

"So the shit hit the fan then!" Bex said trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah it fucking did!" You laughed. "Honestly you couldn't even make this shit up."

"Only in Hollywood hey?!"

You nodded before taking a sip of your coffee.

"How are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm actually ok. I'm obviously sad and shocked that it's happened but I'm also angry. Like how could she do this to him? I just....... He's an amazing guy and she's ruining him all because he wasn't interested in her anymore."

"I actually feel sorry for her." Bex said and your head shot up. "Hear me out ok?" And you nodded. "These models are told how to look constantly, they work out a lot, they're constantly on a diet. I doubt her mental health is good because of it."

"I guess. She was just so rude and shallow, she thought a lot of herself."

"Yeah and that's what she is use to in the world in which she lives in. It's sad really, I mean does she even have a good set of friends. You and I are lucky we have each other you know? Does she have that? Someone to rely on? I doubt it. It's all fake."

"Doesn't excuse her awful behaviour though? I mean who texts someone and says she's going to ruin them?!"

"Doesn't excuse her behaviour at all. Please don't think I'm sticking up for her or trying to justify her actions. I'm just saying her way of life is very different to ours. Being ahead of the game and ruthless is something she's use to. She probably didn't even batter an eyelid when she messaged him that. Is he doing ok?"

"He says he is but I think it's really got to him. He's worried about telling his parents, he hates worrying them. Plus I need to tell my parents, God I haven't even told them we are dating, now I have to tell them this too. They aren't going to be happy."

 "I'd be more worried about Tom." She replied.

You ran your hand down your face and let out a massive sigh at the prospect of telling your older brother that not only had you got involved with Niall, which he had told you not to do. But you also had to tell him that Niall's crazy ex was stalking you both.

 "Maybe you should make sure that Claire is with him when you tell him." She smiled.

 "Oh God yeah, Claire needs to be there. Think I'll Skype my parents now actually before it gets too late." You said looking at the clock on the wall.

"Ok, well go in the living room and I'll be just in here if you need me."

"Thanks hun."

You were shitting it if you were being honest. You set up your iPad on the coffee table and sat down on Niall's big arse sofa. What was with this boy and his massive sofas? You knew your Mum would be reading on her iPad like she always did in the evening, so would see the request for a Skype call. Within seconds of calling she had answered.

"Hi baby girl!" She said excitedly. "How are you?"

"Hi Mum, I'm good. How are you?"

"Oh you know, same old. What about you? You've got a few days break haven't you? Where are you, in LA?"

You had given your parents a schedule of where you would be while you were away, even adding the time difference for them. Your Mum had panicked one time when you were in Canada for a show with another artist and she had forgotten the time difference. She couldn't work out why it took you 5 hours to reply to her text. You had been asleep in bed, as it was night time there.

"Um is Dad there? Want to talk to you both."

"Yeah he is, hang on." She said before the screen showed the artex ceiling as she made her way over to the sofa where your Dad was sitting.

He waved and blew you a kiss. You were a Daddy's girl, even at 25 your Dad still blew you a kiss when you skyped.

"Hi Dad."

"Hey sweetheart, everything ok?"

"Yeah, I just need to talk to you about something."

You told them that you and Niall had started seeing each other and their eyes widened. They hadn't been expecting that. When you told them about what was happening with Saskia, your Dad took off his glasses and sighed. He ran his hand down his face just like you had done in the kitchen not so long ago.

"So there's a restraining order, so she can't come near you or Niall?" Your Mum asked, her voice laced with worry.

"It'll be just to prevent her from coming near him, but it'll protect me and other crew members since we are all together on tour."

"What about the break next month, when you come home?"

"I'll be with Niall for a lot of that anyway Mum. Look, she's not going to hurt us. She's just not happy that he ended things and wants to make out that he cheated on her with me."

"And did he?" Your dad asked.

"No!" You replied shocked that he had asked you outright.

"Paul!" Mum gasped.

"I had to ask, you've been working with him for what ten months and nothing has happened until recently?"

You internally cringed at having this conversation with your parents.

"Yes, we have always just been good friends. He was single for a few months before we got together."

"So she's just jealous? This is just because she got dumped?" Mum asked.

"Pretty much."

"Wow, she sounds a little bit crazy." Dad said shaking his head.

"She is." You replied.

You heard the front door open, the sound of the lads chatting as they entered the house. Looking up you could see Niall place his bag on the ground and make his way over to you.

"I'm just on Skype with my parents." You said looking at him.

He nodded and came and sat next to you.

"Hi." He said nervously. He hadn't a clue what you'd said or what their reaction had been.

"Hi Niall." Your mum said. Your Dad just nodded, but smiled.

"So I've told them what's been happening." You explained to him.

"Ah." He replied, nodding. You could tell he was nervous. He cleared his throat before continuing. "I'm sorry that I have put your daughter in this position. I had no idea that Saskia was capable of this behaviour. I care about Callie a lot and...... " he paused for a moment. "Hopefully my legal team will be able to prevent her from coming near us and from publishing pictures of us going about our day to day stuff."

"Niall, we are sorry to hear that you've been going through this. Callie said that this girl has been harassing you for weeks. Your family must be worried." Your Mum said, that clear protective motherly tone coming through.

"I called them while I was out actually. My Mam is coming over to London when we get back for a few days to stay with me. They both know I've got a good team who look after me."

"Maybe we could meet you in person, if you have time while you're back?"

Oh god.

"I'd love that. I'll check our schedule and maybe we could all have dinner together at mine." He replied and took your hand in his.

Your Mum was definitely won over by him, she practically swooning at his offer to cook for you all. You could see your Dad ticking everything over in his head.

You ended the call not long after. Closing the iPad and placing it flat on the coffee table, throwing yourself backwards you landed on the sofa and let out a massive sigh of relief.

"They took that pretty well. My Mam freaked out, she's insisted on coming to London."

"Yeah they weren't too bad were they? Sorry they asked to meet you."

"Why are you sorry?" He replied as he crawled up the length of your body and settled himself between your legs. 

"Just a big thing isn't it, meeting the parents?"

"Should I not have invited them to dinner to meet my Mam to?" He asked as he leaned down to kiss your neck.

"Mmmm, you know talking about our parents whilst your kissing my neck and rubbing your erection against me is weird."

He laughed against your neck, but carried on regardless. You pushed your hands up through his hair and across the nape of his neck. 

"The things you do to me." He mumbled as he rubbed himself against you again.

"For fuck sake you two!" Willie smirked as he walked in the living room. "Get a room!"

"This is a room, in my own house!" Niall said, as he turned his head towards Willie.

Willie just laughed. "Come and get the bbq going you daft twat, there's plenty of time for that later." Before he left the room and headed towards the kitchen you presumed.

"We will finish this later Petal." He said smirking, before standing up and adjusting himself in his shorts.

You all changed into swimwear and grabbed some towels. The lads had brought a pop up football net at the grocery store, along with all the food you would need for the bbq. Niall had got it lit, leaving it to warm up while yourself and Bex got some salad ready in the kitchen.

It seemed almost crazy how easily the whole Saskia fiasco was forgotten as you consumed bbq food that afternoon and played games. Willie and Bex were due to get picked up at 8:30 that night ready for an overnight flight back to London Heathrow.

You always worried about her while you were away. Yes, she had other friends that she spent time with and a busy job, but you two were close. It felt good knowing that she had started dating Willie. While the lads tried to header the ball in the goal before falling in the pool with a splash, you and Bex had a catch up about her and Willie. Things had already got quite serious in the short space of time that they'd been together, similar to you and Niall. They text everyday and saw each other as much as their work schedules would allow. You could see how smitten they were with each other.

When it came to say goodbye to her that evening, you both cried like you always did. However it would only be just over a week before you could see her again back in England.

Over the course of the next few days Niall had a number of interviews and meetings for the album release next month. You kept yourself busy by going to the gym that Mark had recommended to you. Kicking the shit out of the punch bag always made you feel better. You didn't worry about feeling unsafe, it didn't even cross your mind, but Mully insisted on coming with you wherever you went.

With the Mexico leg of the tour cancelled due to an awful earthquake, you only had the Rio show to do before a 3 week break from tour. This was going to be a busy three weeks though with the album release and various interviews and performances. 

Niall was on form in Rio, the troubles of what had happened with Saskia over the last few months were firmly locked away and forgotten.

The legal stuff went through without a hitch, she hadn't contacted him and no stories had appeared in the press. 

Flying back to london after the show had felt good. Niall had a golf event to attend in Scotland which meant you had a few free days to spend with Bex and Willie playing the third wheel. It also meant it gave you chance to catch up with your brother and sister in law. You'd asked your Mum and Dad not to mention you and Niall to him, as you wanted to tell him face to face. You were not looking forward to it.

This isn’t to invalidate anyone’s opinions on the epilogues. You can like it, you can not, this is just what I think.

I’m about to start chapter 33 of the meat epilogue. I also want to make it clear that Dirk is a character I heavily relate to. I have isolated myself heavily in the past, constantly attempted to solidify my plane in the world, and am known to be “bossy” and a bit of a control freak. I hate failure, as most people do, and often give up or try relentlessly with no in between until i get the results I want.

This is how I read Dirk. I read him as a perfectionist who means well but is also willing to do whatever he fucking can to get the ending he wants. Yes, he shows remorse for the alt version of himself abusing Dave and I don’t believe he’s a heartless (hah) piece of shit. However, I believe this is in character for him.

Another little thing I wanna set up before diving into everything is the blur of canon in the narrative and the largely accepted fanon things.

Most fans had held the idea that Dirk would recognize his mistakes and step back from his usual ways. This is how I thought it was going to go, too! But, maybe I’m associating too much of myself in this, Dirk is also the kind to double down and double down hard. Which is exactly what he’s doing.

We see a bit of his puppet-master esc skills when he orchestrates everything to get everyone into the medium. People mostly attribute it to Hal, which is valid because Hal is fantastic, but Hal used to be Dirk. Dirk as a kid. Now I’m one that argues that no child is incapable of doing big things, but if “Dirk” was capable of doing all that as a child? It’s kinda dumb to assume he wouldn’t continue just because he got a bad outcome once. (The bad outcome being Jake distancing them) His doubling down can also be seen as trying to “fix” or “make up” for what Beta Bro did to Dave.

Dirk does and had done so many things in the way of getting the outcome he deems ideal. He wants his friends to be happy and to make Earth C a decent place. This doesn’t mean that what he’s striving for is the best outcome for everyone. Hell, Dirk killed himself in getting everyone to the medium. He doesn’t give a flying fuck about sacrifices.

Also as Alt-Callie says, he doesn’t make a plan B. He allows for some fuck ups but no alt plan because he believes that his plan will work. He’ll keep going at it until it works. (might be projecting some here, but i think it holds up).

I’ve read some spoilers about his other fates so I’ll leave that part until later.

Now, there’s also the matter of his classpect. Prince of Heart. Heart is the aspect of self, and a lot of the epilogue as far as I have gotten focuses on the self. Roxy struggles with their identity, Jake becomes a semi-different self outside of Dirk’s influence, hell Rose and Dirk literally talk about it in depth. There’s quite a bit of talk about the “ultimate self” which Dirk mentions reaching, and him narrating proves it because Princes destroy.

Dirk destroys the selves of everyone in attempting to reach his desired ending.

I’ve now finished meat and my opinions haven’t changed. Is what Dirk did horrible? Hell yeah. Do I forgive him? Fuck no. Do I think it’s worth whatever the fuck he’s striving for? Not in the slightest.

I’ve said that I relate to him a lot in this ramble and honestly? I could see myself doing this if I didn’t have as much anxieties and such a strong moral compass.

Dirk knows that he’s doing something that everyone will think of as shitty. He calls himself the villain, willingly accepts it. He knows people aren’t going to like it and doesn't care. As for his treatment of Jake especially, it’s horrible. There’s no undoing that. But I could see how he justifies it (note that this absolutely doesn’t fucking mean i agree with it). To him, it was all Jake’s fault because his plans always work. To him, Jake was the reason he got his heartbroken and some of his treatment of Jake is pure unbridled revenge.

Also, an additional thought is that there’s something to be said for the fanfic formatting and Dirk’s POV. The line of canon/non canon is blurred as everyone’s realized and the ending of meat hits it home. But in my eyes this was Dirk’s version of events. His fanfic, so to speak. Starting with minor things before being blatant about it. Just something I found interesting.

I’m so excited to see where the epilogue goes from here. I see why people dislike it, definitely. There’s definitely something different in the tone of it, more grounded and adult? Not sure. But it’s interesting.

PS Roxy’s identity changes/shifts were an odd choice but I like the way it’s handled. I’m not sure of the exact title that would fit, but I’ve seen genderfluid around so I’ll go forward with them as that.

Bradley and Peter admitted they knew in October re cancellation and spinoff. Awkward chat on the tv insider podcast. You were right!! Poor Sherri et al still pushing for season 6 back then. It was all money related apparently.

I keep losing the replies to these questions. I am going to probably be brief.

Yeah, these guys are liars. And it breaks my heart to think of Sherri still trying to get this renewed in January. They were committed to the show and I am happy to see them working because their talent was too good for all involved.

No one there can run a business. The thing about Stef and Lena is that they were so socially relevant that they hit the nail on the head. Since then, they’ve been trying to be socially relevant and they just are pathetic doing it. Trying so hard, ticking all the boxes.

I am glad it’s not looking good. Freeform has released a press release for every premiere this year, not for GT. There is nothing they can spin to look good. And they would if they could. Yesterday showed the precious demo dropping again, 12%. Awful.

I think part of it was that Freeform didn’t own the show so they didn’t get as much money. I think that they would eat the loss if it meant the ratings and critics favor that the Fosters generated. But it’s clear, whoever runs freeform doesn’t know anything at all.

Bound for Glory preview

Eric Young vs. Rich Swann - Young is defending the Impact Wrestling world championship.  This is only Swann’s second match since suffering a legit knee injury in January.  He returned to the ring for  a five-way title match at Slammiversary on July 18, where he eliminated Young.  Eric “reinjured” Swann’s leg to cost him that match; when Swann was forced to “retire” on August 4, Young assaulted him again.  Since then Young has gone on to win the world title, while Swann has been doing a whole “come out of retirement for revenge” storyline.

It’s funny to think about how these guys are headlining this show, considering that most fans would probably remember them best for being lost in the shuffle at WWE.  But this is Impact’s level, and it has been for years.  Just because these guys would be working a dark match on Smackdown doesn’t mean they can’t have a compelling main event here in a much smaller pond.

The basic “Rocky movie” approach to booking this feud would be to have Swann overcome adversity to conquer his most dangerous rival and finally win the big one.  But Impact has a long history of trying to outthink that logic, and I have a long memory of them swerving away from big coronation moments.  It was only a few months ago, in fact, that they were building up Ace Austin for an inevitable run on top, and then they just...didn’t do that.  So Swann might win, or they might tell a story that he has a lot of ring rust to shake off before he beat Young.  Nevertheless, my gut still says Swann wins the title here.

Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin vs. Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Ethan Page & Josh Alexander vs. Ace Austin & Madman Fulton - This is a four-way match for the Impact tag team title, currently held by the Motor City Machine Guns (Shelly and Sabin).  Per standard four-way rules, the only way to win is by pinfall or submission, and the first man to score a fall on any opponent wins the match and the title for his team.

The North (Page and Alexander) held the title for just over a full year as various other teams broke up or drifted away from Impact, so they got to be able to say they cleaned out the division.  Then Sabin and Shelley came in as the wily veterans to get a big push (which is sort of ironic when you consider their history with this company).  Austin and Fulton came together earlier this year as a “rising top heel and his enforcer” act, but they ended up as a tag team when they began feuding with the Good Brothers (Gallows and Anderson).  All along, there’s been a sense that the Machine Guns are just keeping the titles warm until they put over the Good Brothers.

I could see any of these teams getting the title, but it’s pretty clear Gallows and Anderson are top attractions in this company, so one way or another the title picture is going to revolve around them.  One interesting wrinkle is that the Good Brothers plan to work for both Impact and New Japan, and New Japan has a tag team tournament coming up, leading into their biggest show of the year.  If I’m Don Callis, I want to send Gallows and Anderson to Japan for a couple of months to soak up that exposure, and I’d want them do it while wearing Impact title belts.  I’m probably getting ahead of myself with that speculation, but since I’ve got no other clear way to pick a winner, I’ll let that be why I’m going with Doc and Karl.

Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kylie Rae - Purrazzo is defending the Impact women’s title.  Kylie earned this title shot by winning a battle royale on July 18, the same night Purrazzo won the championship.  Since then Kylie has won the Warrior Wrestling women’s title, but that belt isn’t at stake here.

It was just about a year ago that Kylie debuted here, coming off a surprisingly abrupt exit from AEW.  It’s always felt like Impact wanted to do a slow build to her as the face of the women’s division.  And yet, Impact has also given Purrazzo a strong push since her debut in May.  Each of them would be my pick to win against any other woman in the company right now.  But against one another, it’s real tough to choose.  Feels like almost every match on this card is a pick-’em, which is a good thing.

I’m gonna go with Kylie to win just because she makes me happy.

EC3 vs. Moose - Moose has spent most of the year as the self-proclaimed “TNA world champion,” but EC3 stole his belt and I’m not sure what happened to it and I’m not sure either guy still cares about it at this point.  EC3 gained his widest exposure to fans in his NXT/WWE run, but Impact viewers know he really made his name in this promotion, back when it was called TNA.  “EC3” literally stands for “Ethan Carter III,” from when his gimmick was that he was the (kayfabe) nephew of longtime TNA owner Dixie Carter.

The story is that after EC3 was laid off from WWE, he decided he had to exorcise his old failures, which I guess are symbolized by Moose carrying around the belt he once held.  So EC3 started interfering in Moose matches and stalking him and playing cryptic videos for him and other weird stuff.  This has been going on since July but EC3 has yet to wrestle for Impact in all that time.  Aside from a couple of indie shows, and some ROH stuff that hasn’t aired yet, this will be his first match in 2020.

Back in July I assumed that EC3 would sign with Impact.  Then when I heard he was doing stuff with ROH, I figured it was a side project before he fully committed to Impact.  But after three months with no Impact matches, I’m starting to wonder if his Impact deal is a one-and-done.  Actually, the fact I’m wondering that helps the match, since if I was sure he was sticking around, it’d be super obvious that he has to beat Moose.  As it is, I’m still leaning toward EC3 winning, but that little doubt in my head will keep it interesting.

Eddie Edwards vs. Ken Shamrock - I lost the plot on this one, but as I recall Edwards had a vicious feud with Sami Callihan in 2018, and then Shamrock had a vicious feud with Callihan earlier this year, and now Shamrock and Callihan both hate Edwards for some reason.  Incidentally Shamrock is being inducted into Impact’s hall of fame this weekend, so it’s kind of weird that they decided now is the time to turn him heel.

I think the easiest way to sum both of these guys up is that neither of them knows when to quit.  They both look grizzled and stopped-giving-a-fuck, which makes them scary in the way that convicts in movies seem scary.  Now that I think about it, I’m surprised it took so long for this match to happen.

The x-factor here is Callihan, who will undoubtedly be interfering on behalf of Shamrock.  I don’t know who the hell Eddie can get to counteract that; usually when he needs backup it ends up being his wife Alisha, which works better than you might expect but still not all that well.  I guess if Davey Richards was going to return, this would be a cool way to set it up.  But failing that, I don’t think Eddie can win this match.

Rohit Raju vs. Chris Bey vs. TJP vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Trey Miguel vs. Willie Mack - Raju’s “X division” title is on the line.  This is being billed as a “six-way scramble match.”  I tend to think that’s just a cute name for a standard six-way match, where whoever scores the first fall on any opponent wins the match and the title.  Of course, in WWE a “scramble match” was a specific stipulation where whoever scores the last fall in a specified time period is the winner.  But I think if Impact was trying to bring those rules back, they’d have made a bigger deal about it, and I would have heard something about it by now.

The backstory here is that Bey was getting a big push and beat Mack for the title, and Raju started lobbying to be his henchman.  This led to Bey vs. Raju vs. TJP, with the idea that Raju would help Bey against TJP, but Raju went into business for himself and won the title.  So now everybody is gunning for Raju, including Trey for some reason I forget, and I think Grace just got thrown in there to make it more interesting.  Basically, Raju was a prelim guy before any of this happened, and he’d be the underdog against any of these opponents, so you’re supposed to think he’s doomed in a match against all of them.

I’m a tad surprised Grace is involved, because it wasn’t all that long ago that it was Tessa Blanchard as the woman chasing the X title, and then the world title, and that didn’t work out so well.  Then again, Tessa’s gender was hardly the reason that run fell apart, so maybe Impact is determined to do it again until they get it right.  Thing is, if you want to seriously present a woman winning a men’s championship, you want the champion that puts her over to be stronger than Rohit Raju.  So if they’re gonna do it, I’d say they should do it later, with Grace challenging one of the other guys for the title one-on-one.

Anyone could win this match, but it’s a real old trick to have the most hated heel be the biggest underdog, and then he steals a win after his opponents destroy each other.  So I’m going with Rohit to retain.

20-person “Call Your Shot” gauntlet match - This is a timed interval gauntlet match, similar to WWE’s Royal Rumble.  Two participants start the match, and each additional participant enters at regular intervals.  (I don’t think they’ve said how long the intervals are, but I’m guessing 90 seconds or two minutes or something.)  For most of the match, a competitor can only be eliminated by leaving the ring over the top rope and placing both feet on the floor; however, once all but two wrestlers are eliminated, the rules change so they can only lose by pinfall or submission.  The last person left in the match is the winner and earns the right to a title match against the champion of their choice.

Alisha Edwards, whose last singles victory in this company was in 2018 against AEW’s Rebel/Reba

Brian Myers, formerly known as Curt Hawkins in WWE

Havok, aka Jessicka Havok in the indies

Heath, formerly Heath Slater in WWE, with the gimmick that he hasn’t yet secured a contract to work for Impact

Hernandez, once a rising star in TNA, now some sleazy guy backstage with a giant wad of cash

Larry D, Romero’s partner in XXXL

Rhino, the former ECW/WWE star who’s been trying to help Heath get signed

Taya Valkyrie, probably best known from AAA and Lucha Underground

Tenille Dashwood, formerly Emma in NXT and WWE

Tommy Dreamer, the ECW legend, who has been feuding with Myers

The order of entry is supposed to be random, but the results of an October 20 match slotted Hernandez as the last entrant and Rhino as the first.  The added stipulation for Rhino and Heath is that their jobs are on the line: If either of them wins, Rhino stays and Heath is signed, but if neither of them win, Rhino is fired and Heath can’t keep coming around asking for work.

It feels like this match has to end with Rhino or Heath winning, to pay off that storyline.  In fact, I could easily see it being a deal where one appears to be eliminated, and hides off-camera until the other is thrown out, and then Josh Matthews can play Michael Cole being all shocked that there’s still hope.  It feels so obvious that I’ve seen speculation that Heath needs to turn on Rhino right after one of them wins, to keep it interesting.  But I think we’re all overlooking the alternative, where they’re both kicked out of the company but nevertheless keep appearing in comedy skits for weeks until they get some other chance to earn contracts.  Personally, I’d just keep it simple and have Heath win leading to Heath and Rhino challenging for the tag title.

Dez & Wentz vs. Cody Deaner & Cousin Jake - This is being advertised for the pre-show.  Dez (Desmond Xavier) and Wentz (Zachary Wentz) are, along with Trey Miguel, the stoner team of the Rascalz.  Cody Deaner has been Impact’s resident redneck good-ol’ boy on and off for years.  Jake is better known on the indie scene as Jake Something, the current Black Label Pro champion.  Between the two teams, I think Impact is more committed to pushing the Rascalz, but this is another one where it could really go either way.  This whole show has been really hard to predict.  Let’s hope it still seems unpredictable after it’s over.

and  then  she  started  buying  more:  the  absolute  best  of  the  best  of  race  horses,  jumping  horses,  and  breeding  horses,  deciding  to  dip  her  toes  into  all  three  ventures.  before  long,  her  stables  were  full,  and  the  over  seven  hundred  acres  of  her  estate  were  made  into  an  indoor  jumping  ring,  an  outdoor  jumping  ring,  an  actual  race  track,  grazing  fields  and  training  fields.  

her  pet  project  is  called  VANITY  ROYAL  STABLES. 

so,  let’s  meet  some  of  the  horses! 

we’ll  start  with  the  family’s  own  horses: 

viviana,  herself,  has  three  horses  she  calls  her  own. 

JUPITER  the  first  horse  gabriel  bought  for  viviana.  gabriel  saw  him,  and  knew  right  away  that  this  was  a  horse  viviana  had  to  have.  i  mean,  come  on,  he’s  literally  golden!  JUPITER  is  stubborn  and  has  a  mind  of  his  own,  and  he  really  only  recognizes  viviana  as  someone  worthy  to  ride  him.  she  has  no  problem  handling  him,  but  no  one  else  can  seem  to.  he  takes  after  his  mistress  in  so  many  ways,  it’s  almost  like  he’s  the  equine  version  of  viviana  deluca.

SKY   (  named  for  the  colour  of  his  eyes  )   may  be  viviana’s  favourite  horse  right  now   (  but  don’t  tell  the  others!  )   he  caught  her  attention  with  his  striking  blue  eye,  and  he  kept  it  with  his  wonderful  personality.  he’s  not  as  stubborn  as  jupiter,  or  as  strong  willed  as  fioire.  he’s  calm,  and  he’s  sweet,  which  was  exactly  what  viviana  needed  while  she  had  none  of  her  memories.  she  just  needed  someone  to  be  there,  and  she  found  that  in  SKY.  he  never  pressured  her  or  judged  her.  he  didn’t  care  that  she  couldn’t  remember  a  thousand  years  of  her  life.  he  was  never  pushy  like  jupiter  could  be.  and  when  she  talked,  it  felt  like  he  actually  listened.  and  he  reminds  her  so  of  her  gallant.

and  as  a  present  for  her  nine  hundred  and  thirtieth  birthday,  gabriel  gave  viviana  a  white  horse.   (  with  a  spot  of  black  on  her  nose  )   a  horse,  she  would  late  come  to  find  out,  that  is  the  same  breed  as  her  first  ever  horse,  gallant.  and  viviana  said  that  the  horse,  who  she  named  FIOIRE,  which  means  blossom  in  italian,  immediately  reminded  her  of  gallant  because  of  her  curly  mane  and  tail. 

alyssandra’s  horse,  who  viviana  ironically  named  ROSA  while  her  memories  were  gone  also  turned  out  to  be  jupiter’s  mate.  together,  they’ve  already  had  two  foals,  one  of  which  went  on  to  earn  VANITY  ROYAL  STABLES  quite  a  bit  of  money  thanks  to  its  father’s  success  as  a  jumper.  the  other  foal,  the  first  one,  they’ve  kept  as  one  of  their  own,  and  he  shows  a  knack  for  jumping,  as  well.  every  chance  that  they  get  to  grab  jupiter  and  ROSA  and  head  out  for  a  ride,  they  take  it.  the  two  of  them  love  it,  and  the  horses  love  it,  as  well.  it’s  kind  of  like  a  double  -  date.

when  rowan  returned  home  after  viviana’s  recovery,  none  of  the  horses  gabriel  bought  seemed  to  connect  with  her.  all  of  them  seemed  to  like  her,  and  she  rode  rosa  most,  but  none  of  them  felt  like  hers,  and  so  viviana  made  it  her  mission  to  find  her  eldest  daughter  the  perfect  companion.  for  the  longest  time,  they  had  no  luck,  and  rowan  was  beginning  to  lose  hope.  but  then  she  and  viviana  met  the  charming   (  and  inseparable  )   team  of  DAKOTA  the  dalmatian,  and  LOLA  the  appaloosa.  and  while  viviana  is  not  a  big  fan  of  dogs,  she  could  see  the  instant  connection  rowan  had  with  both  animals,  and  so  they  both  came  home  with  them.  and  the  three  of  them  do  everything  together.

there's  two  reasons  stella  has  two  horses.  the  first  is  that  she’s  kind  of  a  horse  fanatic  like  her  momma,  and  the  second  is,  because  of  that,  she’s  very  in  to  equestrian  sports.

her  first  horse  is  one  that  gabriel  brought  home,  and  stella  just  thinks  she’s  the  best  horse  in  the  world.  her  name  is  VIOLA  and  she  is  gentle  and  sweet,  but  she’s  also  quite  old.  she’s  still  playful  and  strong  for  her  age,  but  she  can’t  do  the  jumps  or  trickriding,  so  stella  uses  her  for  trail  rides.  lots  of  trail  rides.  she’s  always  worried  she’s  ignoring  VIOLA  so  she  actually  gives  her  more  attention.

her  second,  athletic  horse  is  a  unique  beauty   (  and  personality  )   stella  named  TWISTER.  he  is  quite  the  character.  if  he  doesn’t  get  enough  time  doing  what  he  loves,  which  is  jumping,  he  starts  to  act  out.  first  of  all,  he’s  learned  how  to  open  his  stall  door.  so,  when  he  antsy,  he’ll  just  let  himself  out  of  his  stall. . .  and  then  he’ll  let  the  rest  of  the  horses  out  of  theirs,  too.  luckily,  he  hasn’t  figured  out  how  to  open  the  stable  doors,  but  he  does  know  how  to  get  into  the  food.  stella  has  to  keep  him  constantly  busy,  jump  him  every  single  day,  or  else  he  acts  out  and  her  moms  warn  her  that,  if  she  can’t  handle  such  a  high  -  maintenance  horse,  then  they  might  have  to  find  her  another  horse.  but  stella  loves  TWISTER  in  all  his  crazy,  whacky,  trouble  -  making  ways.  so  she  keeps  him  busy! 

the  next  horse  was  bought  by  VANITY  ROYAL  STABLES  because  of  his  striking  looks,  to  be  used  for  breeding  purposes.  but,  as  soon  as  he  got  there,  he  proved  to  be  a  little  too  much  for  anyone  to  handle.  he  would  attack  the  other  horses,  and  snap  at  any  person  that  tried  to  go  near  him.  he  was  stubborn  and  hot  -  headed,  temperamental  and  unpredictable  and  viviana  deemed  him  too  dangerous  to  keep.  but,  during  his  week  at  the  deluca  estate,  briar  had  been  keeping  a  close  eye  on  him.  something  about  him  called  out  to  her,  like  a  soul  that  needed  healing.  and  so,  when  viviana  announced  that  she  was  selling  him,  briar  went  out  to  the  stables  that  night  and  pulled  a  chair  up  in  front  of  his  stall.  and  she  just  sat  that  with  him.  all  night.  and  he  wasn’t  reactive  or  temperamental.  when  the  sun  came  up,  she  even  dared  feed  him  an  apple.  and  he  ate  it  out  of  her  hand  as  gently  as  any  other  horse.  so,  briar  marched  right  up  to  viviana’s  office  and  demanded   (  or,  rather,  she  asked  nicely  )   to  be  given  a  trial  -  period  with  the  horse  because  she  knew  there  was  a  wonderful  animal  beneath  the  surface,  and  she  was  going  to  prove  it.  it  took  a  bit  of  convincing,  but  viviana  agreed,  and  she  asked  her  what  she  was  going  to  name  him,  and  briar  said,  FAITH. 

gabriel  fought  tooth  and  nail,  paid  an  arm  and  a  leg  to  bring  home  a  horse  he  thought  viviana  would  love,  with  it’s  white  mane  and  black  coat.  he  thought  she’d  be  as  entranced  by  his  beauty  as  he  was,  and  while  she  agreed  that  the  horse  was,  indeed,  quite  beautiful,  she  felt  no  connection  with  him.  and  she  said  that  she  felt  no  connection  with  him,  but  she  thought  gabriel  might.  and  she  was  right.  so,  even  though  he’d  never  had  a  horse  before,  and  though  he  knew  little  of  them,  he  decided  to  keep  this  one  for  himself,  and  he  still  says  it’s  one  of  the  best  decisions  he’s  made.  he  named  the  horse  ATLAS,  and,  before  they  got  their  own  companions,  his  children  were  quite  taken  with  ATLAS,  and  as  for  ATLAS?  he  still  loves  the  entire  sharp  clan.  gabriel,  jenna,  and  the  kids. 

then  there’s  zachariah’s  horse  that  he  names  ROMAN  to  honour  his  roman  heritage.  zach  decided  to  join  gabriel  on  some  of  his  outings  to  buy  horses,  and  that’s  when  he  saw  the  unique  beauty  that  is ROMAN.  and,  it  turns  out  he’s  a  lot  like  his  mom  in  the  way  that  he  felt  a  special  connection  with this  horse  the  moment  he  met  him.  so,  even  though  he  had  to  pay  a  hand  and  foot  for  him,  he brought  roman  home  the  very  same  day.  and  ROMAN  immediately  became  best  friends  with  viviana’s favourite  horse,  sky.  they’re  practically  attached  at  the  hip,  which  makes  viviana  very  happy.  zach  and  viviana  now  have  a  bi  -   weekly  date:  every  other  sunday  they  take  ROMAN  and  sky  and  ride  out  to  watch  the  sun  rise  over  the  hills.  viviana  teases  that  he’s  getting  a  little  too  old  to  hang  out  with  his  mom,  but  he  never  disagrees  with  her.  she  looks  forward  to  their  ride  every  day  leading  up  to  it. 

aurelia  met  the  horse  she’d  come  to  name  WISTERIA,  and  that  was  it.  she  was  in  love. 

you  only  need  take  one  glance  at  CALLIOPE  to  know  she’s  a  stunning  horse.  and  she  has  a  rather  tender  personality,  too.  when  cass  first  met  her,  she  ate  an  apple  out  of  her  hand  and  then  nuzzled  her  nose  against  her  face  and  cassie  knew  she  had  to  have  this  horse.  she  was  perfect!  and,  besides,  her  name  was  cassie,  while  the  horse’s  name  was  CALLIE.  as  far  as  the  little  angel  was  concerned,  it  was  a  match  made  in  heaven.  but  then  they  got  her  home  and  there  was  some  turbulence.  while  she  was  great  with  her  on  the  ground,  when  cassie  tried  to  ride  her,  CALLIOPE  just  wouldn’t  cooperate.  viviana  said  that  the  horse  was  too  high  -  strung  for  a  beginner  like  cassie,  and  they  should  start  looking  for  another  horse,  but  cassie  already  adored  the  horse.  so,  stella,  who  knew  a  thing  or  two  about  dealing  with  high  -  strung  horses  from  dealing  with  twister,  volunteered  to  help  cassie  out  until  she  an  CALLIOPE  got  into  a  rhythm  and  learned  to  become  a  team. 

jase  loved  his  dad’s  horse,  atlas,  so  much  that,  for  his  birthday,  viviana  gets  him  a  pony  with  the  same  colouring  at  atlas.  and  the  little  boy  is  overjoyed.  he  wants  to  ride  the  pony,  that  he  calls  ROCKSTAR,  or  ROCKY  for  short,  all  of  the  time.  he  gets  his  parents  out  of  bed  so  he  can  go  ride  ROCKY.  and,  not  that  he’d  ever  say  it  to  anyone  but  jenna,  but  sometimes  gabriel  curses  viviana  for  this   “present.”   viviana  knows,  though.  she  thinks  it’s  all  hilarious.

the  next  two  horses  are  sisters,  and  twins,  in  fact,  they  were  born  to  some  horses  from  the  stables,  and  their  purchase  fell  through  so  viviana  decided  to  keep  them.   and  everyone  refers  to  them  as  the  twins.
