#cats #love the second picture... skrungly sleepy well rested boye face...#since he's an elderly boy now sometimes when he wakes up from a nap he looks a bit scruffy and squinty eyed #Hard to beleive he's like 15 though.. he still looks like a kitten to me.. due to his giant round creature eyes and childlike demeanor #I think it's interesting that like... baby cats are babies. kittens are kittens. and you can tell a cat is like 'young adult' phase #looking from like a few months to maybe 1yr or 2yrs.. but after that they just always look the same to me #a 5 yr old cat is a 10 yr old cat is a 15 year old cat. unless the cat in question is particulalry aged or youthful #I still have so so little energy... it's been icy here this week. like not even FUN but just scary icy even thoguh i lOOOVE the cold #and its my favorite weather. I think it'd be okay actually if I had a woodburning stove/fireplace/hearth thing. literally thats my only #concern with the power going out. I genuinely don't mind stuff like having to go to the bathroom in buckets or cook over a fire or do other #less conveninet things. Its just that if eveyrhtng is electric then you have no way to cook and all of that. well.. and I literally need #background noise to go to sleep lest my ocd sprials become so loud I am slowly driven into maddness.. but a few battery packs or something #and a phone with one downloaded video I could play on repeat is fine for that. I dont need internet. ANYWAY.. so so sad that my fav #orite season ever (winter) is here. and the first cold of the winter is like... just an ice storm that you cant even walk in. I #love like 4 feet of snow where you can play in it and stuff. But just a thin flat sheet of a few inches of ice over every imaginable surfac #is not really playable. the wind speeds are so high and so many trees fall it's actually not that safe to go hang out outside anyway unless #you were in a totally clear open field. which is SAD also because i love ice and high winds. i love to stand out there and get whipped in t #he face with ice crystals and feel like I'm in some dramatic movie or something. but alas.. the threat of being attacked by a falling tree.#I did go out some but again it's like. literallyyou cant walk on it. so I just squatted and dragged myself along the ground lol #One of my stories has a whole section where the main characters are trapped in a deadly cold environment for a week and have to use magic #to survive and etc. etc. so I'm always like.. ouuu.. I should go in the ice.. it's Writing Research actually.. *foolishly gets frostbite*#THOUGH yesterday I went on a harrowing evil journey down a bunch of icy hilly roads to go check on some person's cat because the cat #had been left in the house for like 5 days at that point with nobody to check on them and nobody else seemed to want to do anything #about it (like call all of the neighbors or try to get someone out there) so I just went myself with a roommate who agreed to drive me.#It seemed acting totally normal and I gave it more food and water but.. I am still worried about it.. Apparently the person will be able #to get back to their house tomorrow but.. I dont trust them. But I couldnt take the cat with me because it's like.. a stranger's cat #basically and also no carrier + very skittish.. so I feared if I just tried to carry them bare handed they'd definitely leap from my grasp #and then it'd be like.. sliding on a sheet of ice chasing a cat and so on.. I still think they need to be watched for health issues tho >:|#ANYWAY.... many cat adventures lately... and strange weather... I wish for a normal week without always so many Things Happening.. augh

#*spoilers in tags lol*#the track that plays during the scenes where Vincent is chasing Rody around and trying to kill him is so good bc—#it genuinely made me feel on edge and agitated. like I almost felt the need to forward through the dialogue simply bc the music made me—#feel so rushed and stressed. and that’s so cool! it’s so cool that a piece of music tied to a storyline can make the viewer feel so strongly #I am very passionate about this if you couldn’t tell #music and video games are two of my favorite things ever #so the way the two can fit together interests me greatly. whenever I play games one of the first things I look towards is the soundtrack #and dead plate has a phenomenal ost! I kept thinking abt it as I played the game lol #also the tracks that play during the dream sequences are very unnerving which fits the theme perfectly #ahhh okay! if you read this far thanks for listening to my ramblings lol #dead plate

#she talks #she plays #da2 #I wish I'd spoiled myself further so I'd made a rival out of her #she's nice and all very knowledgeable and you can underestimate this 'Daisy' really easily #but damn I can't help but feel like she should've left that portal alone and the last dialogue you have with her in friend or foe sucks #I don't want to tell you it's not your fault or to not think too much about it or that Merathari was a fool #I want to scream in your face that you had it coming even if you thought you were taking conscious/calculated risks #to think that this can lead to the whole massacre of her former clan if you don't take the responsibility #but I was too focused on getting 100% friendship with Fenris to secure the romance lol #he's so harsh to her when we leave sundermount after the keeper's death #he's so harsh in general and I eyeroll every time he shares his views about magic but eh he's hurt and I love him #I considered romancing Merrill but now I'm glad I didn't #also absolutely zero feelings about Anders and Sebastian like noooooone #that's the big difference for me personally between DA2 and DAO like I enjoyed all the companions even if I had favorites but in DA2...#I've made the companions quests because I was curious but there're really some I don't care about #my only regret is not befriending Isabella but I already play a dual weapon rogue so I didn't bring her with me much #I wish I had more friendship with her so she came back with Koslun's book instead of fleeing #also bless the mods that allowed me to give a romanced Zevran the right dialogue and a decent look like they bothered for Alistair #gonna play the dlcs before the very last quest now #I'm ready to be done with this game

If I weren't so obsessive I would casually message back a certain redheaded man and say "Oh yeah, and because I was ignorant, I didn't fucking realize that YOU wrote the music for that song that has become one of my all-time favorite songs ever, so thank you again for that, and you're now one of my favorite songwriters. 20 years too late but I’m finally watching Hunter x Hunter. Just got through the exam arc and really hoping to see the opening actually happen.

Last week I bought a red rose from a dude in the street and offered it to a beautiful lady singer in a bar, and even if I don’t particularly want to see her again, it still felt good to do something chivalrous and lesbiany you know?

I like living my life on my own, but some days I wish I could do those romantic things with somebody, like holding hands and cuddling, and walking along the river, and maybe kissing a little.

I wonder if I'd be making it in someone else's favorite colors #lot of little thoughts like this. some are fleeting and others I tend to get stuck on a bit or overthink #like breakfast for example. would I eat breakfast more consistently if I was also making it for someone else? what if they prefer to eat #the same thing every day? i need variety but I could make sure we always have their favorite fruit or put their cereal box out to make it #easier. or if getting the cereal out is part of their routine i can make sure their favorite bowl is always clean #i find myself wondering which of my mugs would be their favorite? which of theirs would be my favorite?#yeah i'm an acts of service person can you tell. also quality time... can you imagine the shared floor time conversations #a lot of the time I picture myself doing the exact same thing like watching tv and playing switch or practicing music or even working #the biggest different is just that someone else would also be here doing their own thing #to scroll tumblr in silence from the same couch... sending each other posts even though we're both right there. I do miss that #even chores would be more fun and go quicker I think. racing to see if they can do the dishes faster than I can fold and hang laundry #tidying and putting our things together in shared spaces. seeing them side by side just like we are #making the bed together and putting each of our stuffed animals on our own side #or maybe I'd just make it so they have one less thing to worry about #I think i've exposed myself enough alskdfj but there are quite literally hundreds more where those came from #anyway who wants to admit they have a crush on me (kidding) (ish)#asks #oops after posting this is looks like way more tags than I thought it would sorry anyone who made it this far

today was such a good day actually

I thought everything was the worst but then I had my daily sugar drink with a splash of coffee and it turns out everything actually isnt the worst. so thats good news
