As much I don't like Ochako, I dont judge her too harsh here. Deku and Dekiru sound similar where she comes from- as I have been told- which ok fair. Some regions in my country can have the same word and two different meanings.

I do side eye her for how she is calling him deku right away...when BK tried to kill him. Guys, his quirk is explosion...and he was aiming at Izu in the test - some would weakly say "he wasnt thinking in killing" which I digress. He was thinking in causing harm to Izu for no reason- and on the exercise (yes, that scene happened before Ochako says deku I think)

And I dont get why Izu would be ok in accept this name. Is bc Ochako is a girl? What if Iida said the same thing?

The scene is iffy to me...Izu should hate the name and wants distance and ...even if Nejire, the prettiest girl of UA, calls him as such using Ochako's words...Izu should have said no. "No. Dont call me that"

But one thing here...why Izu reacts this way to anyone giving a crumble of attention? Legit, all those gag moments make me think of bad scenarios....did the girls ignored him? Was he too afraid to talk to one? @doodlegirl1998 mentioned once how BK could have asked for girls's help to bully Izu...its possible but at the same time...BK is possessive in the sense "only I can abuse Izu"

Sorry I'm ranting here. I legit dont get why Izu acts this way. Ochako IS a stranger to him at this point- still is through- and Izu acts in a lovely dovey mode...blushing and being marvelled a person is talking to him.....dude if this was a shoujo written by someone not Hori (aka competent) this would mean smth...

Here it just feel its mocking Izu. And it gives me the idea no one talked to him in Aldera aside bk ...with his abuse. Which makes sense within cursed canon and god...makes me wonder if bk isolated him for the abuse and if so...why and when? Its scary imaging a 10 years old kid systematically abusing someone like this and knowing what they are doing.

If I had a problem with the normal part of the bkdk fanbase who just ship for the lolz I wouldnt allow bkdk shippers to follow me and would tell all of them to fuck off! All the bkdk shippers that follow me and I interact with accept that I hate bakugou and bkdk and never attacked me for it nor did I ever attack them! In my posts Im talking about the toxic part of the bkdk shipper fanbase who attack others because their opinion differs from them, because this people are the main reason why bkdk shippers have such a horrible reputation in the rest of the mha fanbase! Thats my right! I can talk and rant on my blog about whatever the hell I want and if people dont like that they can block me for all I care! Or at least blog the anti bkdk and anti bakugou tag, so they dont have to see this kind of posts. If they dont do that thats not my problem, simple as that!

And about the izuocha ship. While I dont ship it, I still think its a cute and wholesome ship like I think iidadeku or tododeku are too and Im supportive of all of them, but I dont look for fanfictions or fanarts of that ships, because Im not interested in shipping. Being a non-shipper doesnt mean, you cant defend a ship or support it though or that you cant like a ship, it just means its not where your main focus is on! Im supportive of izuocha, because ochako gets so much hate from bkdk shippers, simply because they see her as a treat to their ship and because she exists!

And about you saying that everyone knows and accepts that izuku and bakugou arent gay: man you never have read the bkdk posts on twitter, havent you?! 🤣

I have to ask...what is Izu endgoal here? Bc look people can ship him and Ochako as much they want(they will be together) but canon has give all the reasons for them not be together...they will if Hori wants to follow the shonen formula but...I know it will be smth miserable for him.

Which makes me think: this once was the story how Izu became a biggest hero...but "we became the biggest hero" hell, who am I kidding? "I, bakugou, became a great hero" is more likely.

1) Ochako has hidden her feelings for Izu (as if she is ashamed) we have seen novels where some girls do say Izu would be a bad BF and Ochako is silent. Granted no one is confessing their love to BK yet (I have a theory Hori will created Horiko to date BK) but the love interest doesnt know shit about him.

2) yes. Kota and Eri like him and even help him when class A1 forced him back...cool. but it tells me smth...if Izu is not killed (its Hori if he can shit Izu, he will) will he be respected by others heroes or...single out again? (Will never forgive how class A1 believe the words of bk so easily...bk is so openly hostile to Izu)

3) What will be his life after all this? Say he saves Shig somehow (20 mins hearing him moaning and doing nothing) well...would he start think highly on himself?(I laugh as if...this is Hori we are talking about)

4) will anyone be inspired by him? Bc in my first watch I really thought the ending would be "a kid sees Izu and is inspired by him" ...my bad, it will be "a kid will see bk and be inspired by this useless dead weight"

I could talk about how IzuOcha is a mess and cant work as friends ...but this is for another ask.

To conclude. Izu's ending will be as miserable as his start...even if he and Ochako are married with kids. Bk shall be glorified for no reason (like the first epi) oh its indeed cyclical 🙄😒

1. I've heard about this novel. Izuku's just Horikoshi's punching bad isn't he? It feels vastly OOC for the girls to say something like that. Admittedly, Izuku doesn't have many visible romantic qualities shown, but he doesn't have any negatives either. He's a fair bit younger than me so I won't comment on looks past him being a cutie pie, but I would think Kaminari would be the pick for bad boyfriend. He might not be as bad as Mineta, but he does condone and sometimes encourage Mineta's behavior. I don't have a lot of issues with Kaminari and he's matured quite a bit, but he definitely wouldn't be in the running from my POV (better than Bakugou at any rate)

2. I sure hope that the kid who's been at the forefront of a war would be respected

3. I hate to say it but probably not :( We've never seen Izuku affirm his confidence in himself. Self doubt and self resentment is part of him and I don't think Hori even thinks it's an issue

4. Luckily, Eri, Katsuma, and Kota are good indicators. Uraraka too. Izuku does inspire people. Though, it's overshadowed by Bakugou apparently also inspiring 1A with him (more bs from Aizawa)

Decided to write another Izuocha fic based on dumb stuff I was doing earlier. Got steamier than intended, and it’s cheesy lol

Deku catches Ochako doing stupid stuff

Ochako tossed and turned in her bed, wrapped up in the warmth her green comforter provided her.

She yawns, eyes peering open and staring up at her astronomy poster with an out of focus gaze.

She groggily reached over to her nightstand, fumbling around to grasp at her phone in the dark.

She felt something that matched its shape and took it from it's place.

Ochako flips it open, immediately regretting it as the light from her flip phone blinded her. She groans lightly, squinting at the phone to gain any sort of clarity.

"2:37AM"  

As she grimaced at the early time, she felt her stomach grumble. She moved a hand over her stomach to silence it's complaints, flipping her phone closed and placing it back on the nightstand.

But her stomach wasn't having any of it.

She was so nice and cozy and warm. Why of all times did her body decide that now was the time she needed sustenance?

"But I don't wanna get upppp.." she mumbled to herself. Almost as if on queue, her stomach voiced another growl. Much louder than the previous times.

"Ugh, fine." She grumbled out, throwing her covers off of herself and planting her feet and standing up. Feeling her head dizzy at the quick action and attempting to stabilize herself.

Trudging over to the other side of her room, she flipped the light switch on. She opened her closet door, eyes scanning over the dry goods she kept to herself.

"Ramen sounds good, I guess." She said, grabbing one of the instant ramen bowls she'd bought at the convenience store a few days ago. She was accustomed to eating them often. They were tasty, quick and easy to make and most importantly, cheap.

She slipped on her house slippers and gently opened her door, careful not to wake any of her classmates. Normally, Aizawa would scold them for being out this early.

However, it was the weekend. They still needed to train and do their best, even on their days off. But Aizawa was more lax when classes weren't going to be held the next day.

She'd been caught more than a few times sneaking into the kitchen late at night. Aizawa was quite strict with curfew rules, so the few times he'd catch her sneaking in he would scold her for being up so late. The most he would let anyone do is grab something to drink and tell them to hurry back to bed.

But he definitely wouldn't mind if she got up to fix herself something to eat, right?

At least, that's what she hoped.

Ochako rounded the corner of the dorm hallway, peering left and right to make sure no one was in sight. She gently walked over to the elevator, pressing the 'up' button. Gently tapping her slippered foot as she awaited its arrival.

"I wonder if anyone else is up right now.." She pondered to herself. Surely, there had to be a few. If she had to make a guess, Tokoyami was definitely one of them. Possibly Jirou, maybe Shouji.

As gentle ding snapped her out of her thoughts, seeing that her metal carriage had arrived.

She walked forward, gently pressing the 'down' button. She leans back against the wall of the elevator, taking in the sounds of pulleys moving her toward her destination.

The door opens, and she peers out, searching for any sight of their teacher. Not seeing anyone, she tiptoes her way into the kitchen.

She flicks the lights on, a buzz resounding in the room. She walks toward the sink and tears the lid off her soon-to-be meal, filling it with water and throwing it into the microwave for three minutes.

She absentmindedly stares at her bowl, spinning around as more thoughts fill her mind. Feeling a little more awake now that she walked down here.

She closes her eyes, enjoying the silence in the dorm. She could swear she could make out the light sounds of a guitar strumming. Maybe Jirou was up, after all. "Maybe I'll pay her a visit if I can't get back to sleep tonight.." She says, to no one in particular.

Ochako stares up at the ceiling, leaning against the kitchen counter.

Her mind recalls the previous week and all the work they've done. They were practicing their basic forms as well as improving their quirks. Everyone was told to try to find a fighting style they felt worked well with their quirk. Some of the less combat-oriented students were a bit lost on what to do about their forms. She looked into other moves she could use to improve her technique, though she found the martial arts Gunhead taught her to be a good match for her.

Looking around the kitchen and making sure no one was around, she decided to practice her moves while waiting on her food.

She pivots her foot behind her, balling her fists together and gives the air a punch. The air whistling past her fist.

She punches the air once more, quickly holding her forearms together afterward to block.

Her mind quickly imagines up a pretend opponent, and she puts up a pretty good fight against them.

After about 20 seconds, she realizes how silly she must look. Practicing her form in the kitchen, in fuzzy pink pajama's close to 3 am. She giggles to herself, and gives the air another punch but in a much more comical manner.

She shuffles her feet around in a goofy manner, pretending to practice kung fu. She kicks high up into the air, mumbling a "wa-tah!"

Soon she's chopping the air in random places, mumbling a high-pitched "hi-ya!" each time she does so.

She continues to shuffle around, side chopping the air. Her movements completely devoid of any skill. She makes more little silly noises, completely lost in her own goofiness.

"Yeah, that's right. You better run away." She whispers out in a silly tone.

She pivots on one foot and turns around to chop another opponent.

She freezes, her eyes meeting a pair of emerald green ones a few feet in front of her.

Deku is standing a few feet away, hand covering his mouth in an attempt to stifle his laughter.

She's frozen in her goofy position, an awkward smile still plastered on her face. The microwave goes off with a resounding 'beep'.

Her face goes beet red, "H-how much did you see..?" She manages to squeak out.

He wheezes and bends over in laughter, unable to stifle it. She throws her hands up to her face, feeling the heat radiating off of it.

And also felt herself float up to the ceiling, wishing it didn't exist so she could float off into the stratosphere.

"Sorry, I came downstairs to grab a bottle of water, and happened to see you practicing your form." He says as he catches his breath. He couldn't help but watch his friend. She looked so determined and poised. Like she was ready to take on anyone. But then she started being silly, and he couldn't help the grin that spread across his face. She was being a goober in the kitchen at 3 am, how was he supposed to not laugh?

That, and...he couldn't help but admire how cute she looked.

Ignoring the heat flooding into his cheeks, he approaches her, reaching for her arm to pull her down from the ceiling.

"But I guess you're a kung-fu master now, huh?" He says, laughing heartily.

Ochako peers through her fingers to send him a glare, but is completely unable to in that moment.

He's looking up at her, laughing and smiling up at her. Giving her the purest, brightest smile she had ever seen.

She can't but love the sound of his laugh. Had she ever heard him laugh before..? She didn't think so.

Ochako feels him pulling her down, and she floats down awkwardly. Still in a daze, she can't look away from him. Wonder filling her doey eyes as his own finally open to meet hers.

It feels like everything slows down for a moment. A comforting warmth spreads through her as she peers into his eyes.

Why cant she look away? Not that she wanted to. She could stay here forever and swim in the sea of emerald that was his eyes.

Izuku had stopped laughing as he noticed her looking into his eyes. He's completely mesmerized by her.

She's floating above him upside down, at face level with him. Her deep brown eyes are boring into his soul, looking at him with wonder.

He feels himself become lost in them. Lost in her.

Her chestnut brown hair floats gently around her face, locks of it rippling through the air.

"She's so beautiful.." He hears himself think. Subsequently snapping him out of his daze just enough to realize what was happening.

Her face was just a little too close to his own.

"U-Uraraka..?" He stutters out, his face crimson.

"..Huh..?" She says dreamily, her dazed eyes beginning to fill with clarity.

Oh. OH. Right.

"R-Release.." She says as she spins back into place, her feet falling to the floor once more.

Both of them stand there for a moment, completely silent and red all over.

"Ur....Ur-Uraraka..?" Izuku starts, unsure if he should speak at all with how bad he's stuttering. He clears his throat in an attempt to quell his own nervousness. "Was there..something you wanted to ask me..?"

"Huh..?" She says, glancing over to him. He's looking down at the floor, with a hand on the back of his neck.

Oh..right. She did look pretty deep into his soul just a moment ago. In that moment, it probably did look like she wanted to ask him something.

"Oh, no actually. You just caught me off guard a little." Ochako says, twiddling her thumbs.

Izuku turns to look at her, an eyebrow cocked upwards in confusion. "What do you mean..?"

She walks off to the side a bit, opening the microwave and getting her bowl before her food gets too cold.

"I think..that was the first time I've ever heard you laugh." She says, closing the microwave door with her elbow. If she was honest with herself, she never wanted to quit hearing that laugh.

"R-really?" Izuku says, his head tilted to the side a bit. His face had a hint of surprise written on it.

Sure, he wasn't as silly as the others had been. But had she really never heard him laugh before?

Mirio was right. He did need to learn how to have a sense of humor.

"Yup..It stunned me a little" Ochako said with a nervous giggle, not daring to look into his eyes. "Besides, it was really cute!" She said, beaming at him with a grin full of sunshine.

Izuku could've died just then. His heart was beating so fast he feared going into cardiac arrest.

"Cute. CUTE. Him?!? She called him CUTE?!?"  Deku screamed internally, stuttering complete nonsense and fidgeting. His skin feeling so hot it could rival Todoroki's flame. His mind too far gone to understand she only called his laugh cute.

Ochako watched him fall apart with a grin. She loved making him nervous and teasing him. It was just too easy.

"Well then," She says, resuming her silly stance in crane formation. "You wanna take me on?" She asks, giving a playful jab to his gut.

He stumbles back and out of his stupor, giggling a bit at her playful gesture. "Oh, it's on." He says with whimsical determination, taking on a silly stance of his own.

What ensued was a series of goofy slap fighting and stupid cheesy 'karate' sounds.

She starts giggling uncontrollably through the entire thing, and he's beaming at her. Her laugh was something he never wanted to stop hearing.

She manages to get behind him and put him in an arm hold. Causing him to lean back into her shoulder.

He can feel her soft cheek against his, and he feels like he could stay in that arm hold forever. Was he dead? Was he in heaven? He sure hoped so.

They stay like that for a few seconds. Izuku's body relaxes against her and she becomes quite aware of their position when he does.

She loosens her hold on him, just enough for him to break free and knock her off her feet by swinging his leg just hard enough behind her knees. Catching her before she has the chance to hit the ground.

"I win." He says with a cheeky grin, before opening his eyes.

They both light up crimson for the hundredth time that night. Izuku audibly gulps at the sight before him.

He's holding her, standing above her and slightly crouched down. One hand on the back of her head, nested in her unbelievably soft hair. The other on the small of her back.

"D-Deku-Kun..?" She says in a light whisper. She's mystified at the feeling of being in his arms. The warmth of his hands on her, and his eyes looking into her own. Clearly filled with surprise, but there's something else there she continues to search for.

Without thinking, he leans down ever so slightly more to hear her. His eyes land on her lips once the whispered words leave them. "Y-Yeah..?" He stutters out, his voice cracking a bit. He's lost once more in his beautiful friend resting in his arms.

Ochako continues to stare into his eyes, searching for an answer. An answer to all of her questions about him.

Was this wrong, what they were doing?

Was it longing she saw in his deep green eyes?

How is she supposed to keep her feelings for him hidden when he's holding her and looking at her like this?

Izuku looks on into her eyes, seeing them shift down as if she's in deep thought. He begins to feel a little worried until her eyes fully meet his again.

"H-Have I ever told you.." She says, raising a hand up to cup his face, careful not to make him float. She places her other hand on the curve of his neck. His eyes soften that much more when she does. "-That your eyes are beautiful..?" She finishes, watching his eyes widen.

Izuku feels a surge of confidence, deciding to lean closer to her. His forehead meeting her own. She inhales sharply at the feeling. She felt like she was floating in a sea of warmth and love. She moves a hand into his hair and pulls him slightly closer, their noses brushing.

"Have I ever told you that you're beautiful?" He says, not missing a beat. His voice sends shivers down her spine. He was a completely different person apart from the flustered Deku she saw a few moments ago. His eyes are hazed over with a look of wanting, and need.

In that moment, she couldn't stand hiding her feelings for him anymore. She needed to feel his lips against hers.

She leans up just slightly, her lips brushing gently against his. He let out a low groan at the feeling. He couldn't think anymore, his mind blanked entirely upon feeling her lips just barely graze his.

"Have I ever told you that I love you?"

She whispered against his lips.

And that did it in for him.

He pressed his lips into hers fully, both mewling in mutual pleasure. Both of their lips warm and wet. The sound of moans and lips meeting and separating bounced off the walls of the once empty kitchen. He presses her against the kitchen counter, running his tongue against her bottom lip. Barely feeling her own touch his. They melted into each other, her hands dug into his fluffy dark green hair. Their kiss becoming more heated as the seconds pass by. Izuku widens their kiss so their tongues can meet, writhing against each other in a passionate dance.

They kissed for what felt like hours, but it lasted only a few minutes.

Izuku is the first to pull away, he places both palms on her cheeks, running his thumb across the tears that ran down them.

"I love you, Ochako." He says, with a smile filled with adoration. He hid his feelings for his best friend for so long, pushing them down as a means to keep focusing on working towards being the symbol of peace.

They leaned against each other, holding each other and staring into each others eyes. Swaying back and forth slowly to the sound of silence. Nothing could ruin this night for them.

"Ahem."  

Both of them jumped, being knocked out of their dreamland. They separated a bit to see who was standing behind them.

Shit.

Aizawa was standing there, his eyes glowing a deep red. "Both of you." He began, annoyance clear in his voice. "Are coming with me." He says, annoyance prevalent in his deep voice.

They both know what's coming.

Aizawa takes hold of his scarf and grabs both of them, dragging them down the hall on the way to his office.

Both of them are dying of utter embarrassment, stained red as their classmate's file out of their rooms one by one to see what's going on.

They're both given a week of house arrest, plus being tasked with cleaning the outer grounds of their dormitory. Ochako's ramen went cold that night, and neither one of them slept.

As both of them sweat from the amount of work they've been tasked, they can't help but feel left out of the loop from the rest of their class.

It sucks, but they didn't regret it.

Unpopular opinion: Izuku should remain friends with Ochako.

Omg, you keep sending opinion that I agree with but I also reallt need to explain why hahahah Love it.

SO. izuocha.

Not my kind of ship, but Im not gonna lie and say they are not freaking adorable. Have you seen them?? Cutest couple along with kirideku and  kendoxtetsutetsu in my humble opinion. 

But still not my kind of ship. And the thing is, I could have actually ship them, but the way they are handling uraraka’s crush is getting a little annoying for me, and Im not into the “I cant think of anything but you, and when we are together my brain doesn’t work at all.” or “we are meant to be together from epsiode 1″  tropes  (reasons why Im not that into adrinette from MLB), I know a lots find it cute as heck,  but Im the type of person who like to ships 2 characters that are at the same level of development. And Ochako need more development asap.

So yeah, I could see them as besties!! Also, I wouldnt be agaisn the idea of them dating for a while and then breking up.  I dont really like when animes couples get together on their teenage years and then they end up marrying each other… that’s not realistic man hahaha

Inner Peace (IzuOcha Week Day 7)

It was eerily quiet at the dorm of Class 1A. It was not because there were no people in it. Izuku Midorya watched his friend from across the room. She had been sitting on the couch holding her legs, gaze distant and dissociated. It pained him to see her this way. Someone like her was not supposed to look like that. He would do anything just for her to smile again.

The day before, Izuku was assigned to help Ryukyu and her interns on patrols. He was about to meet up with Tsuyu and Ochako in their patrol when they were suddenly attacked. A group of villains had ambushed them. They were doing well but apparently the ambush was just a ruse, when two men on motorcycles passed by shooting at them. Tsuyu managed to avoid the bullets but unfortunately, Ochako was hit by one of them.

They were given the day off. Principal Nedzu, All Might, Eraserhead, and Recovery Girl were being debriefed on what happened. Before they left, Izuku was tasked to look after her.

“Uraraka-san,” Izuku said as he sat down beside her.

“What is happening to me?” Ochako asked desperately. She looked so lost and conflicted.

“Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s only temporary,” Izuku answered. “Remember when Tamaki-senpai got hit with that bullet and lost his quirk? He got it back. Right?”

“You’re forgetting that Togata-senpai was also shot by those bullets and lost his quirk permanently!” Ochako countered.

“True,” Izuku said turning to face her. He had never felt so helpless. “Well all I’m saying is… Kami! What am I saying?”

“I know what you’re trying to do,” Ochako said as she took his hand. “And I appreciate it, really.”

“The moment they get back, we’ll go to Recovery Girl. She’ll be able to help you,” Izuku said. “In the meantime Ochako, you need rest.”

“No! I can’t! I have to keep training,” she argued. She stood her seat about to go to her room to change. “My parents are counting on me.”

“Don’t worry about that right now,” Izuku said. Pulling her back down to her seat. “Just rest.”

“Deku-kun,” Ochako said. Placing her head on his shoulder. “Will you stay with me for a little while?”

“Of course,” he replied, wrapping his arm around her. Resting his head on top of hers. “I’m not going anywhere.”

 A training exercise where she was paired with Bakugo ended in their lost. In his anger, he took to blaming her. Calling her quirkless and useless, inciting the anger of Izuku. The two had a big fight where they both ended up bandaged and house arrested again.

Izuku woke up in the infirmary. The white ceiling and the smell of peroxides was unmistakable. He sees Ochako hunched over her chair.

“Uraraka-san,” Izuku called.

“Deku-kun?” She said. Lifting her head, one could see the lines under her eyes.

‘She’s been crying,’ Izuku thought. He gave her a nervous smile. “How long was I out?”

“A few hours,” Ochako answered. “Deku-kun, thank you for what you did but don’t be so reckless next time. Bakugo was just blowing off steam. You didn’t need to confront him for me.”

“Of course I did,” Izuku argued. “He can say whatever he wants about me but I will not let him…”

“You shouldn’t Deku-kun!” Ochako interrupted. She was feeling angry, frustrated and guilty. “He was right. I was useless during that exercise. Now that I’m quirkless… You… You wouldn’t understand.”

“I understand how it is Uraraka-san,” Izuku said empathetically.

“How would ya know what t’is feels like!?” Ochako shouted at him. “You were blessed with such an amazing quirk!”

“I do because the amazing quirk that you’re talking about isn’t mine,” Izuku told her calmly. A memory of Shinso yelling something similar during the sports festival played in his mind.

“Huh?” Ochako said in confusion and frustration. “What the hell are ya talking about?”

“I’m saying that until the entrance exam, I was quirkless,” Izuku answered.

He told her everything. His past, One For All and his duty to stop All For One. Her face changed from one part of the story to the next. Hearing this, Ochako felt helpless. She was already a burden to him. She did not want to add to his already insurmountable responsibilities. Her line of thought spiraled down and she became more depressed.

“What if this is it for me, Deku-kun?” Ochako asked in despair. “What if the rest of my life is like this? What then?”

“Then we’ll deal with it,” Izuku answered. Hands placed her shoulders. “Just because you’re quirkless doesn’t mean you’re helpless.”

“But that’s exactly how I feel!” Ochako emphasized meekly.

“Ochako, you and I have been through everything together. You don’t think we can handle this?” Izuku reasoned. He then looked her straight in the eye and with uncharacteristic confidence he said. “Ochako, you have me, no matter what. Okay, whatever that means, whatever you want it to mean. For better or worse, in sickness or in health, I am with you. There will always be Izuku and Ochako! Always!”

‘He didn’t?’ Ochako screamed in her mind. All thoughts of the earlier predicament was halted as a new one took priority. ‘Did he just?’

Their face flushed. A warmth encompassed them as the smiled at each other. Going with the mood, Izuku leaned as Ochako closed her eyes.

“A phone call is here! A phone call is here!”

The two internally cursed whoever was on the other end of that phone call for interrupting their moment. Izuku begrudgingly took his phone from his pocket. Having half the mind to drop the call.

“Hello?” Izuku said.

“Midorya! Is Uraraka with you?” Recovery girl asked.

“Uh, yes,” Izuku answered.

“Great! I will get there in an hour or so,” Recovery Girl ordered. “I might have something that could help her.”

“Really!?” Izuku said. A relieved smile appeared on his face as tears fell from his eyes. “Thank you Recovery Girl. You don’t know how much this means to her.”

“So what did Recovery Girl want Deku-kun?” Ochako asked. To which he responded with a smile.

Izuku told her that Recovery Girl was coming. When she arrived, she administered some sort of vaccine to the semi-quirkless girl. Ochako had to undergo something akin to physical therapy for her quirk but in the end she was able to use her quirk again.

 A week later, the duo can be found sitting at Dagobah Beach. Watching the sunset. They enjoyed the sound of waves crashing on the shore, calmness that being with the other brings them, and the peace of mind that no matter the obstacle, they will overcome it. Afterall, they had each other.

“Are you sure you’re feeling ok?” Izuku asked her worriedly.

“I’m fine, Deku-kun,” she answered. A little annoyed because this was probably the thousandth time he asked that question in the last hour. “You can stop worrying about me now.”

“I never stop worrying about you,” Izuku said in a ‘matter of fact’ manner. “That’s just the way it is.”

Ochako laughed which confused the green-haired boy. “What are you my parents?”

“Hey!” Izuku protested.

“It’s alright.” Ochako said. “It goes for me too.”

“Hmm?” Izuku hummed.

“I worry about you too,” Ochako said before lecturing her best friend.

She listed out the events to which caused him injuries. When she finished scolding him, it amused her how the boy could manage to look guilty and adorable at the same time. Izuku looked like child who was just caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Feeling a bit guilty for sending him into that state, she decided to change subjects.

“Deku-kun, can I ask you something?” Ochako asked.

“Sure,” Izuku answered.

“Um… Back when Recovery Girl called you. When you helped me with my meltdown,” Ochako said. “Uh…”

“Yeah?” Izuku replied curiously.

“Were you about to…” Ochako asked.

“Oh, uh… So you remember that,” Izuku answered. His cheeks turning red and a sheepish expression on his face. “I was kind of hoping you didn’t.”

“Why didn’t you?” Ochako said matching the shade that he adorned.

“Oh… Uh… Erm,” Izuku stumbled.

“Why didn’t you?” Ochako repeated sadly.

“Huh?” Izuku sounded. “It’s because you were so vulnerable. Doing that during your time of weakness felt like taking advantage of you.”

“I see,” Ochako said with relief. There was only one thing left to ask. “Deku-kun, do you like me?”

“Yes,” Izuku answered almost automatically.

Releasing a breath that she did not know she held. Hearing him say those words, cleared the fog that was clouding her mind. Quieted the noise in her head. Her stormy emotions calmed. Her confusion disappeared and everything became clear. For once since a long time, she felt at whole. She felt at peace.

‘It was all so simple,’ Ochako thought. ‘How could I have been so stupid?’

“Uraraka-san?” Izuku called. He turned her way but was tackled to the ground. Something soft and warm were on top of his lips. Tears landed on his skin.

“Thank you, Deku-kun, for everything!” She said before resting her head on his chest and let all her worries of the world melt away.

Every Second With You is a Blessing (IzuOcha Week Day one)

Everything was going perfectly for Ochako: her dress was absolutely stunning, the wedding ceremony was going off without a hitch, and she was about to kiss the messy haired man of her dreams. They even wrote their own vowes crying as the other began to spill the extent they loved each other. Right as their lips were about to join and seal the deal, the scenery changed. no longer was she in a chapel with Deku and her friends by her side now she was in her pajamas starting at the ceiling of her room within the dorms.

“Third time this week,” she whispered tears starting to form in her eyes. Not wanting to be in her current environment any longer, she jumped out of her bed and started to make her way outside. Once outside she started to run as fast as she could only stopping when she found a tree far enough away where no one would be able to see her cry. And so she sat, softly crying, the cool breeze stinging her face as the tears rolled down her eyes, the cloud’s hiding her puffy eyes. Ochako knew that there was no use crying over something that she knew she could never have, but after several days in a row of seemingly getting what she wanted then having it be nothing but an illusion was too much to bear. Time seemed to pass incredibly slowly, to her it seemed that she had been sitting at this tree for hours, yet she felt no desire to move as the silence was calming. That would not last as she heard someone call out to her, but she wouldn't look up or even move until the voice calling out her name was right next to her and began to shake her shoulder. To her complete dismay, it was the subject of her sadness.

“De...Deku” she squeaked out tears coming out at full force now.

“Uraraka, what's wrong you are out here all alone while it's cold and dark out,” responded a cleary tired Deku, with baggy bloodshot eyes. Ochako managed to get a small chuckle out of that, noticing that he’s clearly in bad shape too yet is still putting other peoples problems before his own.

“Its nothing I just came out here for some fresh air it was getting really stuffy in my room,” sniffled Ochako. She hated having to lie to her best friend, rationalizing that it would probably be better for her to spread this small lie than to come forth with the truth and be utterly rejected. Deku, however, was not buying it the slightest.

“You don't have to lie to me ya know,” Deku said moving to sit down next to Ochako, who went back to hiding her face in her arms. “And if you are going to lie you might want to try a little harder,” he added with a smile and a small laugh. Ochako nodded but refusing to move from her current position. The two sat in silence for a bit until Ochako raised her head and began to speak.

“I keep having this dream, where I'm getting exactly what I wanted, with the people I wanted. But right at the moment is about to get to the best part I wake up, I realize that it was all a dream. Then the crushing reality that, that hasn't happened, that I can't get want I want and I should. I just love him so much and want to be with him,” after letting that last part slip out and realizing what she had just said she began to start bawling and rested her head on Deku’s shoulder. Deku, now having a crying girl on his shoulder, moved his arm around her instinctively in order to try and comfort her.

“Uraraka it might only be a dream, but that doesn't mean that you can't make it real,” Deku softly told her, with Ochako raising her head to look at him. “You are easily one of the strongest people I know, you want something done you make it happen. That's the attitude that can get someone anywhere, I know that you will make this dream come true, you'll get the person you want to be with and you'll be happy, you will get everything you want Uraraka I know this, and I’ll be with you every step of the way,” he added. Ochako wasn't expected to feel this comforted by the person who, albeit indirectly, caused her this much pain in the first place, but she was and slowly began to stop crying and re-rested her head on Deku’s Shoulder, Deku having never move his arm from around her. After savouring this comfort something clicked in Ochako’s head and remembered that Deku looks just as bad she did when he had arrived.

“Deku?” she asked

“Hmm?”

“I was so busy being sad that I didn't get a chance to ask, Why are you out here and why do you look like you haven't slept at all. What's wrong”

“Heh, I guess you did see that huh. The truth is: I haven't been sleeping at all. I keep gettings nightmares and I figured at some point that it would be better to just not sleep”

“Well talk to me about them.”

Deku began to hesitate, moving away from Uraraka,  scratching the back of his head trying to find the words to say. Finally finding what he wanted to say he began to spill his thoughts. “I've been having the same nightmare for the last couple of days. I'm older and an established pro hero, then I'm set to stop a villain attack nearby. And when I get there it's a complete disaster, people are dying, the town is completely decimated.” Izuku pauses and stares forward, and Ochako looks up at him but Izuku continues without looking at her. “I get to where the villain and you and another hero I cant recognize are fighting her, the hero next to you is struck down. So I run up to help you, and so we start fighting her together. We are trading blows etcetera when suddenly she gets a strong blow right to your head and now you are down too.” Izuku begins to choke up and stops talking for a moment, in response Ochako grabs his hand and squeezes it calming Izuku down to the point where he continues. “After seeing you go down, I kinda went into some sort of overdrive, I managed to throw a punch so hard it instantly knocked this villain 30ft from me and left them unconscious. I even managed to break my arm, even though I haven't done that in years. When I managed to get to you, it was the worst outcome, that last blow was enough to kill you, and the last thing I can remember is just getting into my knees and just crying, and then I would wake up with tears in my eyes.” Deku paused for a moment staring up into the sky, tears starting to come from his eyes, before continuing again. “I know its kinda silly because it's just a dream but I just felt so powerless. I couldn't save the civilians, I couldn't save the town, I couldn't save that other pro, and I couldn't save…….you. The most important thing to me and I couldn't do anything to stop you from dying.”

At this point, Izuku is flowing with tears and lightly punches the tree the two are leaning on, Ochako just moves to sit on Izuku’s lap and wraps him in the tightest embrace she could manage. Taken aback at first Izuku sat there frozen for a second before returning the hug with a similar fervor. Nothing happens for a solid minute in a half as the pair are completely focused on the hug before Izuku snaps out of it and begins to speak. “Sor..” he began before Ochako started to shake her head into his chest, successfully getting the message across that she wouldn't accept Izuku trying to apologize. While this is happening the clouds have dissipated almost entirely, letting the light of the full moon illuminate the teens while also revealing a full array of stars in the sky. Noticing this change in atmosphere Izuku fell to the ground, dragging an unexpecting Ochako with him. While the two are cuddling on the ground Izuku spoke up.

“You know whenever I would get nightmares as a kid my mom would come into the room with me and talk about the stars, heh it's kinda why I came out here in the first place. She would point out the well-known constellations, like the big and little dipper, the ursas, ya know. But she would also just point out random groups of stars and just make up a story about them, she would instruct me to do the same, so we would just sit there for however long it took just telling stories. I know that might not help you in the same way as me but we could do that together if you’d like”

Ochako, completely delighted by how caring he was toward her, simply said: “That would be nice Deku.” And then snuggled into Deku’s chest, with Deku once again moving his arm around her.

“Why don't you take the first one.”  

“Hmm ok,” looking up from Izuku into the night sky, Ochako scanned for a group of stars that could in anyway be used to tell a story, until she found a perfect one pointing at a group she began. “Oooooh, I think I found one, ok so there's this guy who is walking in a hurry when suddenly it seems that he trips over but luckily right behind him is this girl who manages to rush over and catch him. The two of them hit it off really quickly, becoming best friends they were completely inseparable. Until one day the girl realized that she was falling in love with him, and began to worry about their friendship, what if the boy didn't like her back. Doing everything in her power to hold her feelings back she continued on, the feelings continued to grow and grow Then one day the boy expressed that he was in love with her, to the complete and utter shock of the girl not that she was going to complain or anything. That was the best of her life, and the boy would spend the rest of his days with the girl all while happily in love.” Realizing that she had used: both her and Izuku’s backstory and adding what she wanted from the friendship, Ochako blushed and buried her head back into Izuku’s chest and hoped that he wouldn't notice.

“That was a really cute story Uraraka,” said Izuku clearly not noticing. “Ok, I guess it's my turn then.” Looking and finding something story worthy Izuku began to tell his tale, this one being less about friends to lovers and more of a story about a hero and his journey to save the realm he was apart of. The two would alternate telling stories, with each progressing one getting quieter and quieter as exhaustion had begun to overtake both Izuku and Ochako.

Then after Izuku’s turn, he waited for Ochako to go, but she didn't, focusing his attention on her he noticed that she had fallen asleep. So he just sat there for a bit just watching her, feeling the rhythm of her breathing, seeing the complete change in demeanor from just a short while ago. She wasn't the crying, sad person he had found. Instead, she seemed relaxed, and happy even. Izuku noticed that he himself was in better shape after talking to and sharing the night with Ochako. He started to think about how much she meant to him, how he might not be who he was without her. Izuku knew that he had a crush on her, she was super cute and close to him after all, but thinking about tonight he began to wonder if it was something more than a crush. Feeling her rise and fall against his chest, he made one thing crystal clear to himself: he was completely and totally in love with Ochako Uraraka and started to plot when and how he was going to confess. Incredibly tired himself Izuku closed his eyes and whispered “Goodnight Ochako,” and let sleep overtake them. And so the two laid together, their body heat keeping each other warm on this cool night, both with a huge smile on their faces and neither one of them experienced a bad dream that night.

honestly i love every single one of the izuocha moments! this ship needs more love, a lot of ppl think its boring, but i just love how wholesome their relationship is, how they always have each other's back and im just a sucker for friends to lovers...add the pining into it and the fact that they both inspire each other and im sold !!!!! 🥺🥺 i have other ships i also really love like kamijirou, kiribaku and todomomo! there are many other platonic relationships that i adore too and can see why ppl might ship them, but i find those 4(izuocha,kamijirou,kiribaku, todomomo) more appealing to me in a romantic sense!

A talk I had about Izuocha and the ships of Izu with @bibibbon make me realize how Sgdk while accidental and Shig has done things Ochako should have done.

Not here to make anyone stop shipping IzuOcha or ship my ship. I just want to mention this.

*Shig is the one to know Izu is quirkless and instead of cry or saying "quirkless need to die" he acts as "oh ok cool" and never thinks negatively on Izu for that.

*Has stated likes quirkless stuff. For real. Thats why I say Shig is a plot device bc "I will destroy all" cant be follow by a guy chilling in a couch gaming..

*Never called Izu deku. He respects him enough to not call him deku and use the name midoriya.

*Was the one to look happy to see Izu in this shot show. Yes, it isnt a romance but you have to admit Ochako looked pissed in seeing Izu while Shig smiled at him. Wtf is going on?

*Never look down on him. Nor seems to like bk.

I know those topics arent enough for a romance or even friendship(they never interact at all. Izu know almost 0 about him) but like comparing to IzuOcha...well, its shocking.

No. Im not delulu to think they will even be friends. In fact, I think Hori will kill Shig and the blame will fall on Izu.

But in fics? Oh they have potential.

would any of class 1-A be friends if they werent heroes? its already noticable that the less stronger or flashier people get less spotlight with their friendships, specially their relationships with deku. of course some characters just dont contribute to the plot but why is that? do they care for eachother out of heroics? clearly some do BUT EVEN THEN THE BASIS OF THEIR RELATIONSHIPS IS HEROISM. most only met BECAUSE theyre heroes. Most of them dont even have anything in common and just have no choice to hang with eachother since theyre in the same class.

this is so frustrating to think about. izuocha doesnt have enough depth outside of them being sweet people who want to be heroes and admire eachother. IS DEKU EVEN CAPABLE OF SEEING PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF WHO THEY ARE AS HEROES? its what he seems to admire most in others! i genuinely dont think he could ever fall for a civilian atp being a hero has too much of a grip on him. this is rlly irritating

what are your thoughts about bakugou and midoriya's relationship? platonic, i mean

I live and die for it, every part of the manga in which that relationship is shown progressing is between my favorite parts of the manga and I’ve reread them a hundred times and cried over them way more than necessary - the battle trial one? yes, the end of terms exam? absolutely yes holy shit, the post-license exam fight? god yes fuck me that’s my absolute fav, the rescue arc? shit yes between all the reasons why that arc’s my fave the change in the deku/baku relationship is definitely a worthy of note one

It’s an interesting relationship, a painful one that’s making both of them grow so so so much, a rivalry they both need to better each other and keep each other straight on the path to become two great, all-around heroes - I’m not sure they’ll ever end up having the type of relationship Izuku has with Todoroki or Bakugou with Kirishima, I don’t think it’s possible for them to be friends like that, they’re just too different to properly fit like that and to avoid stepping on each other’s toes every single day of their lives they’d have to change their core personalities too much, but they did end up being able to coexist (Bakugou’s even giving Deku tips!!!) and I do think they’ll be able to cooperate and support each other in the end. If one day they’ll be able to make fun of each other in a friendly manner and egg each other on and be honest with each other without it escalating into a full blown fight I’d truly be happy, that’s probably my main dream for this whole manga. For them to have a healthy rivalry, one in which they can maybe even laugh together. I think it might happen, I’m waiting for it to happen

What a question lmao no, no they never interact with Teru, it’s a crack ship haha I don’t really have a reason to ship it tbh, I just think Teru’s personality would fit nicely with Bo and Kuroo - Teru’s one of my fave characters in Haikyuu and I like shipping my faves around, but he’s interacted with only his teammates and Karasuno so everything else is just crack... I like a whole bunch of Teru ships tbh, bokuroteru is the one I’ve drawn the most for a bit by accident and a bit because they’re the ones with the most entertaining possible dynamics, to me? They’re a bunch of excited silly kids, that’s fun!

I don’t think I’ll ever have Kirishima’s backstory at this point. I’m giving up. I’ll just make up my own version of it. Kirishima’s had a beautiful past with a lot of happiness a great family with loving parents and both older and younger siblings that love him more than they love air, he’s got three pet turtles and a dog and the only reason why he had his hair dyed black was because he went through a really intense goth phase. That’s it, that’s my version, Hori can keep the sadness for himself

You’re most welcome! As I said once already I don’t really care for Mineta, so including him in stuff when it makes logical sense to isn’t much of a problem for me hah maybe, if I’m lucky, one day he’ll grow as a character and out of the walking trope he is, and that might just mean I’ll start drawing him more by himslef too haha
