You stare at the message on your comm with a feeling of dread threatening to overwhelm you. You never expected your bald-faced lie about having a boyfriend to come back and bite you.
You had planned to lie to your family about having a boyfriend, and then in six or so months, tell your parents that he cheated on you and you don’t want to talk about him ever again.
And then no one would mention you and dating in the same sentence ever again, they would have just pitied you and been angry at the imaginary boyfriend.
You didn’t expect your grandparents to host a family reunion. And you definitely didn’t expect your invitation to come with a note that you must bring your boyfriend to meet the family.
And, while you know that an invitation isn’t a summons, but skipping the event would be much, much more annoying than just biting the bullet and going.
The best solution…well, the best solution would be an emergency deployment so you don’t have to deal with the situation, but that’s not gonna happen.
So the easy answer is to admit you lied and take the comments.
Yeah. You’re not doing that.
So the only other option, outside of just not going, is to get a fake boyfriend.
You slide your comm back into your pocket and glance around the room. The room is absolutely filled with single, and attractive, men who would agree to be your fake boyfriend for a free home-cooked meal.
Slowly your gaze slides from one side of the room to the other, trying to decide who you want to ask for this favor. Anyone from any other battalion is automatically out, you’re not that confident.
So you’re limited to the men of General Ima-Gun Di’s battalion.
You run down a list of the men in the battalion in your head, trying to decide who might agree to your request. Of course, now that you're limiting yourself to the battalion you’re attached to, there’s only one choice.
The ever-capable, and totally gorgeous, Keeli.
Plus, as a bonus, you consider him a friend.
The fact that you’ve been nursing a crush on him for ages now definitely didn’t factor into your decision. Not at all.
So, you steel your nerves, and then you hop to your feet to go and find the man who, you hope, will save you from a week of merciless mockery.
“Keeli!”
You find him outside the barracks, lounging under a tree in only the bottom parts of his armor. He sits up slightly as you approach and says something to the person on the other end of the comm, then he drops his comm to the ground beside him and motions for you to join him.
“Sorry,” You say as you sit on the ground next to him, “I didn’t know you were on a call.”
“You’re fine, it was just my twin. He wanted to tell me about the date he went on last night.” Keeli leans back against the tree, but keeps his gaze locked on your face, “Did you need me for something?”
“Uh…well…I need to ask a favor.”
His eyebrows creep up his forehead, “What kind of favor?”
“My family is hosting a reunion and I need you to come with me.” You pause, and grimace, “Well. Not you specifically, but also it needs to be you because I’m the most comfortable around you.”
He stares at you silently for a moment and then he speaks, “That’s not a hard ask, I’m sure the General will be fine with it. Is it normal for your family to ask people to bring friends to these things?”
“Ahhh…” You avert your gaze sheepishly, and you can feel your face burning, “They…may have the understanding that you’re my boyfriend. Possibly.”
Keeli is completely silent, and you take a chance to look at him. He looks surprised, and more than a little disbelieving.
Before he can answer, you rush ahead, “It’s only for a week!” You shift so you’re sitting on your knees next to him, almost begging him to come with you, “And-and-and, after we can pretend to have a big nasty break up and you won’t have to do anything more than, like, hold my hand or something—” You’re babbling now, but you can’t seem to make yourself stop.
Keeli stops your babbling by pressing a single finger against your lips, “If I’m going to pretend to be your boyfriend, I’m going to be the best fake boyfriend.” He counters, “So, what’s our story?”
“You’ll do it?” You ask.
The smile he shoots you is tiny, but it’s real. “Yeah, princess. I’ll do it.”
You lightly bat his hand away from your mouth and fling your arms around his neck, “Thank you! Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me! I’ll find some way to repay you, I swear it!”
Keeli laughs quietly and hooks an arm around you, “Don’t worry about it, Princess. But we do need to have matching stories, don’t we?”
Three weeks later, you’re introducing Keeli to your parents and grandparents at a massive resort that you would have never been able to afford if your parents weren’t paying for the both of you.
Surprisingly, they look like they approve of Keeli.
Of course, how could they not?
You steal another glance at Keeli, and a small smile lifts your lips. He looks amazing in the civilian clothes that you bought him. The reddish brown button-up shirt he’s wearing matches the dress that you’re wearing, and yet he looks so much better than you do.
With the top two buttons undone, and his sleeves rolled up around his elbows, you can’t look at Keeli without blushing like a lovesick schoolgirl. Curse him and his attractive features, and curse you and your humiliating crush on your Captain.
“Is everyone here family, Princess?” Keeli asks as he slides his arm around your waist to tug you against his side.
“Yeah, pretty much. Both mom and dad have over 7 siblings, and all of them have 4 or 5 kids, and all of those kids are married or engaged with kids of their own.”
“Ah,” You lean your head against Keeli’s shoulder, confident that he’ll support you, as he looks around the crowded garden, “So, are you the odd one out in that you’re not married?” He teases.
You huff and elbow his side, “I’m the baby of the cousins. It’s not my fault that all of my cousins are in the 40s.”
Keeli hums his understanding, “If you like, I can fake a proposal on the last day of the reunion.”
“Please don’t.” You reply immediately, already able to feel your face burning, “I don’t want you to have to feel like you need to keep doing stuff like this.”
He stares at you for a moment, his lips quirking up at one corner, as though he had just heard a hilarious joke and was just waiting to fill you in on the punchline.
“What?”
“Don’t worry about it.” He replies, there’s even amusement in his voice.
You shoot him an odd look, and his small smile blossoms into a wide grin.
“What, Keeli?”
He lightly taps your nose, “One day, you’re going to look back at today and find it hilarious.”
“You can start making sense any second now.” You mutter as you scrunch up your nose.
“Could, but I’m not. Come on, let’s go meet some people.”
Fifteen minutes later, you’re talking to a pair of drunk uncles. How, exactly, they’re already drunk when the bar has only been open for half an hour is beyond you, but you’re slightly more concerned with how this conversation is going.
“You know,” One of the men says, or slurs, “I kinda thought she paid you to pretend to be her boyfriend.”
Keeli’s smile is very polite, “Oh?”
“Yeah, I mean…look at her.” He gestures to all of you, and you scowl, offended.
“I look fine, Uncle.”
“Nah, you don’t. That dress looks awful on you.” Your other uncle says, and you glance down at the dress.
“I…does it?” You ask, with a glance towards Keeli.
“I think you look great.”
“You don’t have to lie to her, boy. She’s hardly a supermodel—”
Keeli cuts them off before they can continue, but the damage has already been done. You can’t seem to stop brushing your hands down the material of your dress, or anxiously touching your hair.
He ushers you away from the crowds of people, and catches your hands as you reach up to try and adjust your twin buns, “Hey, you look amazing.”
“They’re right though. I’m not—”
Keeli sighs heavily, and the next thing you know his lips are pressed against yours. The kiss starts chaste, but as you reach up to press your hand against his cheek and lean into the kiss, he wraps his arms around you and tugs you closer.
He breaks the kiss before you want him to and presses his forehead against yours. His dark eyes scan your face and then he grins, “Princess,”
“Hm?”
“I’m going to kiss you again.”
“Yes, please.”
This time, when he kisses you there’s nothing chaste about it as he backs you up so you’re pressed against a tree. One of his hands settles low on your back, his warm fingers playing with the exposed skin of your back. His free hand slides up your side to press against the back of your neck, holding you to him.
This time when he breaks the kiss so the both of you can gasp for breath, he keeps his lips hovering just over yours. “So,” Keeli breathes out, “Princess, about this fake dating thing—” He trails off as he catches your lips with his one more time.
“Perhaps,” You murmur against his lips, “We can adjust?”
“You’re reading my mind, Princess.” Keeli murmurs, “You being my real girlfriend is going to make sleeping in bed next to you so much more enjoyable.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He kisses you again, and the only reason he stops is when someone clears a throat nearby.
“I’m sure the pair of you are having a good time,” Your mother says with a wide grin, “but the family would like to meet your young man, darling.”
Keeli’s forehead falls to your shoulder with an uttered oath in Mando’a and you have to muffle your giggles, “Um…yeah, Mom. We’ll be just a minute.”
“You have five. If you’re not out in five, I’m sending the little ones in with water guns.”
“Threat received,” Keeli replies, his voice muffled by your shoulder, “It won’t be necessary.”
“Good.” You watch your mother leave, and Keeli finally lifts his head from your shoulder, there’s something heated in his gaze and you lightly clutch at the front of his shirt.
“Later,” Keeli promises, “We’ll finish this later.”
“Promise?”
“God himself couldn’t stop me,” Keeli replies.
And you release a breathless giggle, “I’ll hold you to that, Captain.” You lightly brush your lips against his jaw, and then push him a step back. “You ready?”
“For today to be over, absolutely.” He replies, and then he takes your hand, “Come on, mesh’la. Let’s get today over with.”

Praise - Keeli x FReader - NSFW
Summary: After a stressful day, Keeli wants you to see just how much he appreciates you.
Characters: Keeli
Pairing: Keeli x F!Reader
Word Count: 6,153
Warnings: PinV sex, fingering, oral sex (female receiving), praises, fluff and smut, Keeli loves you so much, soft boi alert!
Authour's Note: Keeli just knows how to comfort and soothe you after a long day. I head canon that he just is so soft with you.
Today had been a DAY! Capital letters, underscored and bold DAY. It seemed nothing was going right for you, it had just been one thing after another after another. First you had woken up late, burnt yourself trying to make breakfast and caf before racing out the door. When you had gotten to work, your boss had chewed you out in front of everyone before sending you to get on with your work. It seemed nearly everyone you interacted with was in the shittiest mood out, and then your manager accused you of not working hard enough and questioning if you were good enough for the job. All of that before you got a comm saying that your boyfriend would be home soon.
Not to say you were unhappy about that. No, you were ecstatic that Keeli would be back home with you. It was just that it was so last minute and you had barely got anything ready for his return home. There was still so much to do, you had to grab some stuff from the market to prepare a wonderful dinner, clean up your apartment and make sure that you were somewhat presentable after a horrendous day at work. The stress made you want to cry, but you knew there was no time for that.
So after promising that you’d do better tomorrow to your manager, you ran out of the door, cursing said manager to be hit by a speeder after how awful they’d been today. The trip to the store was rushed, and you were grateful that it was only a couple of levels down from your home. But they had everything you needed, and that was all that mattered. Now all you had to do was make a start at dinner, clean your apartment and jump in the shower, ready for when your trooper would be finished at the GAR base and come home to you.
Entering your apartment, you were so distracted that you failed to notice the figure sitting on your couch. You just rushed to kick off your shoes and shrug off your coat, too busy in preparing the mental list of things you had to complete before Keeli got home.
“Hey sweetheart, you’re home” the smooth, deep rumble called out to you.
You froze, looking over to the living room and finding your Captain reclining against the back, head tilted so he could watch you by the door. “Oh… you’re back” you breathed, feeling disappointed that you hadn’t been able to get everything ready for him.
“Don’t sound too pleased to see me, sweetheart” he chuckled warmly, pushing his self up and heading over to help you with your things.
Blinking at him, you realised how that probably sounded. “Sorry, of course I’m happy to see you. I’ve missed you so much” you smiled, stepping away from your stuff at the door and falling into his arms. The feel of his large, strong arms wrapping around you and pulling you into his chest was enough to make you sigh out in relief. Today may have been a terrible day, but you would go through it again just to have Keeli back in your arms once more.
“Missed you too, sweetheart” he rumbled, pressing his face into the crook of your neck and just holding you. He took in your scent, the sweet smell of your perfume hitting him once more after so long away. It soothed his tired body and reminded him that he was home. He rubbed small circles on your back and hip, comforting you both after his long deployment away. Already he could feel some of the tension leave you.
Pulling back, he noticed the dark circles under your eyes, the ragged look that you wore and the way your brow furrowed. He didn’t need to be a medic to know that you were stressed at the moment. Cupping your cheek, he brought your focus onto him. “Hey, everything okay?” he asked, thumb running along your cheek. He watched as you nuzzled into his palm, pressing a gentle kiss there before giving him a small smile that didn’t reach your eyes.
“I’m fine, just a busy day. Let me just get dinner started and then we can snuggle up on the couch until it’s ready” you soothed, squeezing the hand that rested on your hip. You bent down to gather the bags but he beat you to it, the Captain scooping them all up and nodding his head for you to go ahead. Your trooper was such a gentleman.
“Sorry I wasn’t here to meet you when you came back. I haven’t got anything prepared” you frowned, feeling guilt whirl in the pit of your stomach. Keeli was out there, protecting the galaxy, fighting everyday and working with Jedis; yet you couldn’t remember to pick up groceries or clean the apartment so he could have a nice warm meal and a nice place to come home to.
Before you could fall down the rabbit hole of your thoughts, Keeli placed the groceries down on the counter, and reeled you into his arms after catching your wrist. “Nothing to be sorry about, cyare. You weren’t to know. Besides my debriefs finished early, so I wanted to come and surprise you” he assured, voice full of warmth and love. Rubbing his hands up and down your sides, he couldn’t help but steer you back until you were pressed against the counter.
You gasped, feeling the edges dig into your hips. Your hands slid up to wrap around his neck, fingers lightly tracing over the intricate pattern shaved into the side of his head. Feeling the rough bristles of his close cut light brown hair, you looked up into his whiskey coloured eyes, seeing the soft sincerity in them. Oh no! You knew that look. He was going to impart some wise and truthful words that would make you fall even more in love with him.
“I come to see you, sweetheart. Nothing else matters as long as I can hold you in my arms, spend a moment in your presence. I don’t need home-cooked meals, fancy pillows on the couch or you dressing up special for me. Those things are nice, and I appreciate all the effort you put into that cyare, but I want to just be with you. Here, like this, is perfect” he said softly, eyes never leaving yours as he hoped his words reassured you.
Gulping past the lump in your throat, you nodded, praying to all the deities you knew that you wouldn’t start crying. “Guess you’re right about that, Captain” you mumbled, running your fingers across the nape of his neck.
Chuckling at your response, he couldn’t help but gently rib you. “Of course, I’m always right” he teased, eyes lighting up at your own laugh.
“Oh of course, how silly of me to think otherwise!” you retorted, rolling your eyes and bumping his hip with yours as you slipped from his hold to continue dinner.
Keeli grinned, coming to lean his hip against the counter, watching you begin to get everything ready. “Oh, I’ve forgotten something, sweetheart” he announced, frown pulling at the corner of his lips.
You tried to hide your disappointment that he would have to leave again. But it couldn’t be helped. After all, just looking back at your day, you were surprised you didn’t forget something major as well. “Do you need to go back to the barracks to get it? I can always keep dinner warm for when you come back” you offered, glancing over to him.
“No, it’s right here” Keeli murmured, catching your chin with his thumb and forefinger to tilt your face up to his. As he leaned forward, he pressed his lips to yours, swallowing your small gasp.
You dropped the utensil onto the counter, turning to face him fully now and step closer to him. You fisted your hands into the civvie shirt that you kept for him here, pulling him into you. He licked at the seam of your lips, encouraging you to open up for his inquisitive tongue. Although the kiss was deep, it was slow and loving, re-familiarising you both with each other after such a long time away.
Pulling back, you panted for breath, feeling slightly dazed at your shared kiss. Lips still tingling and mouth beginning to burn from the rough feel of his beard and stubble. It sent butterflies in your stomach as you watched him with heavy eyes.
Keeli pressed a kiss to the corner of your lips before pulling away to take in your flushed face. “Glad to be home sweetheart” he told you, skimming his hands over your sides before stepping away. “Do you need any help with dinner?” he offered, wanting to help you in any way he could.
Waving him away, you couldn’t help but scoff. “No! You are going no where near this meal. You’ve just returned back to me. Go and sit down and relax” you ordered, shooing him away and back towards the couch. He gave in with a wry grin, enjoying seeing you becoming more authoritative. “Besides, I prefer to have the kitchen still standing by the end of it” you added, sending him a wink over your shoulder.
“Lies and slander! Have you been talking to Sauté again?”
“He keeps me updated on all your exploits!”
Hearing his groan from the kitchen, you couldn’t help but laugh. You had met a few of Keeli’s brothers after a night out in 79s, and had gotten along with them very well. So well, in fact, they often kept you informed and send you holos of Keeli doing stuff that he wasn’t meant to be doing. Like when Sauté had found him trying to dry his socks by the stove and nearly burnt down the whole mess.
Once everything was ready, you put it in the oven to cook and sighed, rolling your neck and shoulders to relieve some of the pressure and tension that had built up during the day. You couldn’t believe you’d have to go back in tomorrow and face your manager again after the shitty day you’ve had today. And you’d be forced to miss out on time with Keeli. It was rare for him to get leave, so every precious moment with him counted. You didn’t want to be going to work while he was back home.
“Tell me about your day, sweetheart” Keeli called, and you heard the sound of the drama show he was watching be muted. He wanted all his attention on you.
“Argh, you don’t want to know!” you grumbled, running your hands down your face before heading to clean up some of the pots and pans you had used.
“Course I do, it’s why I asked” he reminded, before he stopped, listening to what you were doing in the kitchen. “Hey! You better not be washing up! Leave it, I’ll do that” he protested, shaking his head at you.
Deciding to just give in and listen to him, you threw the dishcloth onto the side and headed back towards your Captain. “Today has just been the worst day ever!” you sighed, making a beeline for the couch. Keeli fought the grin that wanted to spread across his face. “My manager is… he’s a… oh god! He’s just a rat faced weasel!” you cursed, throwing yourself onto the couch next to him.
“A rat-faced weasel?” he repeated, eyebrow raised in confusion.
“Yes, a rat faced weasel!” you huffed, rubbing your tired eyes.
Keeli nodded, grabbing you and pulling you into his lap. “Tell me what’s happened, pretty girl?” he requested, rubbing gentle circles on your thigh.
“Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. I woke up late, burnt myself making food. When I finally made it to work, my manager screamed at me in front of everyone. Then I couldn’t do anything right, people have been in the worst mood ever and then my boss was questioning my ability and saying he doesn’t know if I’m suitable for the job!” you ranted, the words bubbling out of you. “And I nearly got hit by a speeder” you sighed, resting back into his broad chest.
“Are you okay?” Keeli frowned, running his hand up and down you back comfortingly, and tugging you even closer into him. He lightly gazed over you, not noticing any signs of injury but he had to make sure.
“Yeah, I’m okay. Just really done for today” you mumbled, entwining your fingers with his on your lap.
“No wonder, mesh’la. Sounds like you’ve had a rough day” he agreed, pressing a chaste kiss to your temple.
You couldn’t help but feel yourself relax even more at the small gesture. It made you feel safe and loved, that the world outside your door wouldn’t be able to encroach on your little sanctuary inside of Keeli’s arms.
“How about I make today better for you?” he suggested, voice dropping low as he practically purred the words into your ear.
“Thanks, you’re already doing that just by being here” you grinned, tapping his chest to tease him further.
“You’re sweet, but not what I meant. Why don’t I help make you forget about everything?” he chuckled, laying gentle kisses along the side of your face and finishing with a small kiss to the corner of your lips.
“What about dinner? You must be hungry after coming back home” you frowned, glancing back at the kitchen and then into his warm, lust filled brown eyes.
“Oh don’t worry, mesh’la. I’m going to eat. We can always turn it off for now, it’ll be fine” he assured, lips curling into a pleased smirk at the way your eyes widened and cheeks flushed.
How on earth could you turn this beautiful, kind, extraordinary man down? Cupping his cheek, you gave him a small nod as you pressed a brief kiss to his lips. You got up off his lap, hurried to turn everything off in the kitchen before returning to him. Keeli took your hand in his, brushing your knuckles with his lips before leading the way into your bedroom. You couldn’t help but feel the heat beginning to bubble inside of you at his soft gestures and loving looks.
Keeli wasted no time leaning in to kiss you, inhaling your small noise of surprise as he tugged you closer with an arm around your waist. His talented tongue pushed through the seam of your lips and you tangled it playfully with your own. His other hand cupped your cheek, tilting your head to just the right angle so that he could kiss you deeper. He could taste the sweet tang of chocolate and sweets you had been snacking on before your journey back home. Swallowing your low moan, he skimmed his hands down to the hem of your shirt.
“Can I take this off, mesh’la?” he asked, tugging slightly on the material.
“Yes!” you breathed, reaching for the civvie shirt he had on. It was a race to undress the other, both of you determined to reveal each other, to touch the heated skin that had been missed in your long separation. “You’re hot, but your shirt would look even better on my floor” you flirted playfully.
Keeli let out a delighted laugh, your own shirt falling away from his hands. His large, warm, calloused palms cupped your cheeks, his warm, heavy gaze locking onto yours. Leaning in, he couldn’t help but seal his lips against your own once more, swallowing every noise and moan that you let out.
You were determined however to make him feel just as untethered as you felt. So you ran your fingers down over the planes of his chest, making sure to dig them into his sides where he was particularly ticklish. As expected Keeli jumped, biting his lip to stop the laughter from escaping. Sliding your palms up his chest, you felt over the pronounced collarbone, leaning forward to press a kiss there as you dragged your nails down his chest, catching his nipples. Keeli jumped, a loud moan escaping his mouth as you continued to work your way down his chest, pressing soft kisses and teasing licks.
Taking his nipple into your mouth, you lathed it with attention, letting the warm, wet heat of your mouth harden the bud. Keeli groaned, hands coming up to your hair to keep you in place for him, even when you grazed your teeth over the sensitive nub.
“Fuck! Sweetheart, you’re incredible” he gasped, feeling his hard length press painfully against the lounge pants he was wearing. Humming around his nipple sent vibrations through him that he tried to muffle with a bite of his lip.
Keeli urged you back up his body, but you resisted, instead pressing kisses all along his chest and up his neck. He couldn’t help but roll his hips into yours, feeling the heat of your core seep through both of your trousers. “So beautiful” he murmured, pressing open mouthed kisses across your jaw and down your neck. He chuckled at the sensitive spot beneath your ear, feeling the way you shook in his arms. Made sure he tugged your ear lobe into his mouth, teeth nipping at it slightly. Keeli couldn’t help but take in your moan and feel his cock throb in response.
As he was lathering your neck with attention, sucking marks and love bites that would show up tomorrow, he began unbuttoning your trousers, pushing them and your underwear down over your hips until they pooled at your ankles.
Gasping, you couldn’t help but shiver at the way his moustache and stubble rubbed against your skin, sending sparks of pleasure shooting down your spine. Stepping out of the restricting clothes, you kicked them to the side, not caring where they went just as long as Keeli kept his mouth on you.
“Come on cyare, hop on the bed” he instructed, pulling away enough to begin working on his own bottoms.
“Aye, Captain!” you saluted, sending him a teasing wink as you got on the bed, piling the pillows up against the headboard so you could get comfy. He rolled his eyes, grabbing your ankles and pulling you down the bed slightly. You couldn’t help but giggle as you were laid out for him on your bed.
Keeli kicked off his own bottoms and looked at you, stopping for a moment to take you in. His hard cock twitched as he shook his head in wonder. “I’m so lucky to have you, cyare” he breathed, trailing his fingers feather-light up your leg. The touch was almost reverent as he seemed to get lost in you.
“Keeli” you encouraged, holding out your hand to help him up onto the bed. Your face was flushed from embarrassment at how he looked at you, nobody had looked at you as softly and loving as Keeli had. He saw you, the person who you were, the good and the bad and accepted it all. He chose to love every part of you, even if you didn’t love them yourself.
He took your hand in his own, the large and warm calloused hands felt so right in your own. This was exactly what you needed after today.
Scooting up the bed, he lay a gentile kiss onto your collarbone, directly over a mark that was starting to blossom on your skin. He continued to lay kisses down your chest, into the valley of your breasts before looping back down underneath them, tongue sliding out to run underneath the curve of them. He took in your sigh of delight, feeling proud that he could make you feel like this. That he could take your stresses away from you and get you to relax.
“I love the way you sound when I touch you like this” he mumbled against your skin, not willing to pull too far away as he kissed around your breast, getting closer and closer to your nipple.
“Keeli” you sighed, hand running over the short bristles of his hair and down to the nape of his neck, tugging him closer. A moan escaped you as his wet, hot mouth descended on your nipple, his tongue flicking over the nub and devoting his attention to it. The suction and heat sent your hips bucking against his stomach, eager to feel more of his talented mouth.
He gave one last powerful suck before he moved across to your other breast, giving it the same amount of attention as the first. His hand slid over your stomach, enjoying the soft skin that was under his hand. He didn’t venture lower, not yet, he was too focused on making you feel good.
“More Keeli, please, I want you to touch me” you moaned, bucking your hips up and trying to push down on his shoulders to get him to move; as the tingles and sparks that was spreading from his attention to your breasts was making you wetter and wetter.
“I am touching you, love” he reminded, grazing a nipple with his teeth that had you clutching at his shoulders instead, digging your nails into him.
“Don’t tease me, not today” you pouted, hoping that would convince him.
Keeli looked up, noting the pout and leaned up to give you a chaste kiss on those lips.
“Alright pretty girl, you don’t need teasing today. I’ll make you feel good, make you forget about everything apart from us, right here in our bed” he assured, resting his elbow by your head so he could be close to you. Cupping your cheek, he made sure you kept your eyes on his brown orbs. His other hand slid down your stomach, exploring fingers dipping into your curves and venturing lower and lower to the apex of your legs.
You widened them automatically, keen to give him as much room as he needed. The first brush of his fingers against your clit had you gasping softly up into him, your breaths mixing together as he hovered over you. You could see the smile tugging on Keeli’s lips at your reaction. But he kept going, sliding his fingers through your folds, collecting the slick that had already leaked from you.
“Look how wet you are for me, love. Can’t believe how lucky I am. You always respond so beautifully when I touch you, or kiss you” he smiled, pressing his slick covered fingers back to your bundle of nerves.
“Oh! Keeli!” you breathed, chest pressing into his as you ran your hands up and down his chest.
“You sound so sweet, mesh’la” he whispered, nuzzling his face into your own. “Bet you taste it too” he added, lifting his fingers up to his mouth so you could see. He took them into his mouth, eagerly licking the taste of your slick from him and closing his eyes as he moaned.
You couldn’t look away from his obscene action, heat flaring in you at just how clearly he was enjoying himself. You did that to him. Just the taste of you could make him rock his hardened length against your thigh and for him to sound like he was tasting heaven. It filled you with pride and you couldn’t help but feel even more aroused at how much you affected him.
“Can I taste you, love?” he asked, peppering kisses along your jaw.
“You better!” you gasped, causing him to chuckle against your skin.
“A good Captain always follows orders” he grinned, nipping at your ear before sliding down your body until he was between your legs. He seemed to sigh in relief at being this close to you, as he pressed a kiss to your inner thigh. “So beautiful, so perfect for me, mesh’la” he whispered in awe before he hooked his arms underneath your thighs and pulled you closer to his face.
You let out a little yelp as you were pulled further down the bed, your hands coming to clutch at the pillow that was supporting your head.
“Oh” Keeli gasped, meeting your gaze from between your legs. “That is a beautiful sight. Never gonna forget how you look just like this” he said in awe.
“Keeli, stop” you groaned, covering your face with your hands to hide away from his heavy, lust filled eyes.
“Why? You’re stunning cyare, inside and out. I can’t help but notice” he shrugged, rubbing soothing circles on your thighs.
“It’s embarrassing” you mumbled, shaking your head.
“You should be worshipped, love. Every inch of you should be revered, and I intend to show you just how devoted a follower I am” he promised, hooking your thighs over his broad shoulders, spreading your legs a little wider for him.
His hot breath gently caressed your lower lips, stimulating you further and causing your legs to quiver slightly. Even without him touching you or doing anything, Keeli affected you so much. Just using his words was enough to have your heart clenching at this amazing man. The fact that he was so devoted, so loving towards you made you want to keep him here, safe with you. You wanted to give him only the good things in life after all the hardships he had been through.
However, all thoughts went out the window as he licked a long stripe from your opening up to your clit. Your hands clenched in the sheets, a loud cry falling from your lips at the brush of his tongue against you. His stubble rubbed delightfully against your thighs as he began to eat you out with earnest, tongue circling your entrance before probing in slightly and then withdrawing.
Your hips bucked up into his face, legs widening as much as they could to get him to press his face deeper into your core. A cry of his name echoed around your bedroom, and you couldn’t care less that your elderly neighbour next door would shoot you a disapproving look the next time you saw her. All that mattered now was Keeli and the way his tongue was pushing into you, gathering as much of your arousal as he could and moaning at the taste. The vibrations sent you clutching at his back, scratching pink marks against his bronzed skin and you were rewarded with more groans and gasps against you.
“That’s it, that’s my good girl” he growled, eyes slid shut as he sucked your labia into his mouth, the bottom half of his face wet with your juices.
“FUCK! KEELI!” you gasped, hips rolling into his face as he took your clit into his mouth. You felt untethered, like a ship in a raging storm as you felt your orgasm building and building. An arm came down to land across your hips, stilling them and pinning you further down into the mattress as he kept working at the swollen nub with flicks of his tongue and gentle suction.
Your legs squeezed round his head as he entered a finger into your entrance, your walls clenching around the intrusion. He was pushing you towards your release and he barely seemed to want to come up for air. His fingers thrust into you at a steady pace, twisting and curling until you let out a loud cry, fighting against the restraining hold he had of you.
Deciding that he had indeed found that pleasure spot inside of you, he pressed another finger inside and curled them just right. Moaning at the flood of slick that escaped from you with every pull of his fingers, Keeli knew that you were close, and not just from the way your walls was clinging around him. He could hear how your breaths caught in your throat, coming out in little sobs and huffs rather than loud cries now as pleasure washed through you. It had been so long since he had been able to do this, to taste you and watch as you approached your release. You were the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
When he entered a third finger inside of you, combined with a harsh suck on your clit, he pushed you over the edge. A loud wail of his name was ripped out of your throat as you bucked into him, vision going white as you shook at the intensity of your release. Keeli continued to suck and thrust his fingers as much as he could inside of you as you quivered around him, pushing you close to the edge of too much before backing away and licking up the evidence of your release.
Pushing his head away from you as you began to become oversensitive, you panted heavily, looking up at the ceiling as you tried to recover from one of the best orgasm he had given you.
Making sure not to overstimulate you further, Keeli gently rose off your body. Your eyes met his delighted ones, and you noticed that his lower face was now covered with your release. He smiled, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
“How are you feeling cyare?” he asked, checking in with you.
“I’ve missed you” you admitted. The words weren’t the ones you wanted to say but the sentiment was too strong to resist. You had missed him. Not just because of the sex and the amazing orgasms you could have. But you missed his smile, the way his eyes danced with his happiness, the way he made you feel safe and loved just by being in his very presence. You had missed the love you had built up together and the way he seemed to shine in that love.
“I missed you too, cyare” he vowed, leaning forward to kiss you. You groaned at the taste of yourself on his tongue as he brushed hair away from your sweaty forehead.
Wrapping your arms around his neck, you pulled him down into you, letting him fall in between your legs. His chest was pressed against yours, his weight, a comforting and familiar feeling against you. Your tongues danced together as your legs entangled, keeping him with you for as long as you could.
“Do you want to continue?” he asked, hips rolling against yours and sliding between your folds, nudging at your clit.
“Please, want to make you feel good” you nodded, cupping his cheek and nuzzling your nose against his.
“You always make me feel good, you’re amazing without even trying” he told you, smiling as you ducked your head into his neck. He could feel the heat radiating from you at your blush.
Keeli reached down to his hardened length, notching the head of his cock at your entrance. Even though he may have prepared you for him with his mouth and fingers, he knew he might be a bit of a stretch after so long away. With your confirming nod, Keeli slowly pushed inside of you, gritting his teeth against the heat that surrounded him.
You whined, fingers tensing along his back as you took in a few deep shuddering breaths at the feel of him filling you. He wasn’t a small man by any means, and it had been a long deployment. But the stretch was making you feel hot, and you had to resist bucking into him to get him further inside of you.
“Doing so well for me, cyare” he whispered, laying kisses along your cheeks and your forehead.
The sweet gesture helped you relax even more and he bottomed out inside of you, letting you adjust to the feel of his thick length. You could see how hard he was clenching his jaw as your walls squeezed and tensed around him, he was trying so hard not to cum, to not let this be over sooner than the both of you would like. Trailing your hands down to his hips, you ran soothing strokes over them before reaching to give his arse cheeks a light squeeze.
“I’m okay, you can move now” you assured him, leaning up to kiss at his feathering jaw.
Keeli let out a puff of air before he slowly pulled his cock out of you. Your breath hitched at the slow drag of his cock against your walls before he pushed back in. Setting a slow but powerful rhythm that had your release building up once more.
He pulled back to look between you, the controlled movement of his hips as he pressed into the tight clutch of your opening had him feeling breathless at how easy you both fit together. That you were made for each other. “So beautiful, so perfect for me mesh’la” he murmured, almost in a daze as he watched the way your face changed with each thrust inside of you.
“Keeli! Kriffing hells!” you whined, hooking your legs further up his hips, trying to pull him deeper into you.
“I know mesh’la, you’re taking me so well after so long away” he soothed, laying back down over you and covering you with his body.
It felt like you couldn’t catch your breath, with every thrust of his hips into yours, he was driving more and more of your thoughts away. You couldn’t focus on anything but him and you in the moment. The way he was laying kisses in the crook of your neck, soft mumblings of praise falling from his lips that you couldn’t quite understand but appreciated nonetheless.
Squeezing your thigh that was wrapped around his waist, Keeli rolled his hips into yours, pressing his cock even deeper into you, determined to hit that spot that had you clutching at him.
A cry left your lips as he hit that spot that had your body flaring heat from head to toe. You were close, you could feel it. Keeli was stoking the fire higher and higher as his rolling hips brushed your clit, stimulating you even further.
“You’re incredible, cyare. Can never get enough of you, love you so much” he praised, voice tightening as he felt his own release approaching.
You echoed the words back to him, squeezing at his shoulders and clinging onto him as tight as you can, meeting his thrust with your own. It drove him deeper inside of you, massaging that rough patch at the front of your walls. You were right on the edge, all you needed was just a tiny bit more before you would fall into bliss.
“So good, sweetheart” he smiled, brushing your hair away from your face, as a hand slipped in between you to rub circles on your bundle of nerves just above where you were joined.
That was all it took as you shattered around him, nails digging in as you writhed under him, his name shouted into your room for all to hear.
The feel of you clutching and shaking around his cock had Keeli following you, release spurting inside of you and stimulating you further as you felt the warm heat inside. Your name fell from his lip like a prayer as he caught himself from falling on top of you, energy seeped out from him.
You rolled over to your sides, still wrapped around each other as you caught your breath, trying to come back down to earth from your love making. Stroking soothing patterns up his arms and gazing into his sleepy eyes, you couldn’t help but beam at him.
“Feeling better?” he inquired, voice hoarse and rumbling as the day’s event caught up to him.
“Hmm, don’t even remember what I was stressing about” you grinned playfully, thumb gliding over his sharp cheekbones.
“Ah, my work is done then” he teased, chuckling at your eye roll in reply.
“Go to sleep, you have plenty of time before dinner is ready” you assured him, knowing he must be feeling exhausted after debrief and finally coming home after all that time away. You pulled away, grimacing at the mess you felt in between your legs as his softened cock slipped loose.
However Keeli grumbled, wrapping his arms around you and tugging you back into his chest. “No… don’t want you to leave. Want to hold you in my arms as I sleep” he complained, pulling you flush against him.
“What about dinner? It’ll go to waste” you protested, sinking into his arms. He grinned in victory and placed a kiss on your head.
“I’m sure we can order take out, sweetheart. This is all I need at the moment” he assured, nuzzling his face into your neck. “You’re all that I could need” he murmured quietly, sinking into the warmth of you pressed against him, the smell of you enveloping him in the sense of home and comfort he had missed while he had been away.
“Alright then, just for a bit” you mumbled around a yawn, squeezing the arms around you as you let your eyes close.

THE NIGHT I MET HIM
Captain Keeli X Reader
Warnings: none
I’ve been working as an Emergency Room Technician ever since I graduated from high school two years ago. I wanted to be a nurse so bad. I was working hard to save money and was hoping to start classes the next semester. The Trade Union had come to my world four years ago. Things were looking grim for the economy and the environment since their arrival. Being the nerd that I’d always been, I was terrified for my planet’s future.
I worked the night shift. One very early morning, I was back in the purchasing department looking for some supplies to restock my department, when I noticed a few men lurking around the loading dock. One stayed out by their vehicle while the other was up on the dock. I could see he had a helmet on and what look like full suit of armor, like a character from a video game or something. He had a tool in his hand and had pulled the doors keypad from the wall. Without thinking of my own safety, I stepped out of the other exit near the dumpsters where I had been spying on the intruder. “Hey! What are you doing there?” I inquired in my deepest most sinister voice. The man jumped up and turned towards me as he pulled a pistol from the holster on his hip. Startled, I stumbled backwards and fell, landing awkwardly on my bottom and banging the back of my head against the door jam. Everything went black.
When I was able to reopen my eyes, I was stunned. Everything looked a fuzzy. I could hear distant voices with strange accents but I couldn’t really make out what was being said. As I started to come around, I looked up, there were two men in white and brown plastic suits. The one who had been fidgeting with the key pad still had his helmet on and his pistol in his hand. The other had removed his helmet. He was crouched down, almost eye-level with me. He was beautiful! His features were strong; a square jaw, high cheekbones, and a prominent nose. But it was his large soft eyes; honey colored and deep dark chocolatey brown at the same time. It felt like he was looking into my soul. His skin was tan like the beach volleyball players on TV and his hair was dark with very tight curls. He had it cut very short and had a very intricate pattern shaved into his hair. He was talking to me, I think, I could see his beautiful full lips moving. But I couldn’t make out a word he was saying. All I could think about was how gorgeous he was and how ridiculous I had been; falling on my ass like that. Oh Dear Lord! What a first impression I must have made.
Finally the cobwebs were clearing from my brain. The crouching man turned to the other, “Skip, put your blaster away. Can’t you see she’s terrified?” His voice, his accent. My heart was pounding in my ears. I thought I was dreaming. I was falling in love. Then he was looking at me again. “Skip, you need to check her out. I think she hit her head pretty hard.” “Miss, I’m Captain Keeli and this is my medic, Skip. We didn’t mean to hurt you. We were just trying to, ah, find some medical supplies to treat our injured troopers.”
Then the other man knelt down next to me and removed his helmet. I turned to him and jumped back in surprise when I saw the same face as the first man who had been speaking to me. “What the fuck!?! Who are you people?” I was turning my head back and forth between Keeli and Skip. My eyes must have been huge. I was scooting backwards until I was pinned against the door. Keeli reached out and softly took my arm, “Easy there. You really did bang your head.” His tone was soft and soothing. “Haven’t you heard of the Grand Army of the Republic? The Clone Army?” I started to pull my feet under me and push myself upwards. I reached for the back of my head where I felt an enormous bump forming. My tailbone ached too but I didn’t want to grab my ass in front of these hot guys. “Y-ya. But, but not here. N-n-not in this part of the galaxy. We’re way the fuck out on the outer rim. The Republic doesn’t give a shit about us.” Captain Keeli scoffed, “Well we do now that the Trade Union is interested in you. Rumor has it the Separatists are interested as well. So the Republic has sent us, the Outer Rim Garrison to find out how much interest they might have in your pretty little world.” Skip stepped closer, “Can I please check you? I am a medic. I can make sure you’re not seriously injured.” “Ah, I do work in an Emergency Department. I can just have my DOCTOR check me. And he doesn’t have a gun to point at me just because I ask him a question.” I state as I roll my eyes at Skip. “Besides, I’m not sure I should trust thieves.” Captain Keeli stepped forward, “I apologize. You’re correct. You probably shouldn’t trust us.” I don’t know if it was my head injury or Captain Keeli’s eyes, but as he was speaking, I began to melt. “Since we have been on your world we have been having difficulty legally acquiring supplies. We use Republic Credits not your currency. We’ve had to resort to any means necessary to find food and supplies. So you caught us looking for medical supplies.” “You know” I said “you could just ask. We always have ‘expired’ supplies. These dates are arbitrary and really don’t mean there is anything wrong with the supplies. I can get these for you.” Keeli and Skip looked at each other and smiled then turned to me and nodded. “But I want something in return.” I said. “Ok?” Keeli said with a raised eyebrow. “I wanna learn how to fire that pistol.” I declared as my gaze dropped to the blaster holstered on Keeli’s hip.

Lost on Ryloth
Captain Keeli x Reader
Summary: Are you sure Captain Keeli died on Ryloth? Because I heard...when they went to collect the bodies of General Di and his fallen men, the captain was no where to be found...
No Minors Allowed
Word Count: 2, 300 (on the button and I love it)
POV: 2nd. No use of (name), (y/n), or blank spaces
Warnings: Reader is Twi'lek as I'm pretty sure there's no humans natively living on Ryloth, mentions canon deaths, mentions battle and healing, reader has a sassy grandmother, kinda a fix-it story.
"ma sareen" means "my sweet" and is a term of endearment
For the lovely @dystopicjumpsuit ! I tried my best to create something awesome for you, it might be a bit wonky and I apologize if it reads as such. (p.s. I hightlighted the thingys in red as it was the closest to Keeli's armour colour available)
You weren't supposed to be out here... and as blaster fire rained down in the valley before you, you became blindingly aware of the fact.
You should have been with the others of your kind...but instead of being holled up within one of the controlled settlements, you had somehow managed to slip by all of the seperatist sentries to hide in the caves nearby. It was just you and your grandmother.
You covered your ears as the battle went on. Blaster fire being tossed back and forth, a bright blue beam of light slashing about and grenades exploding, not only sending dirt everywhere - but men with it.
The Republic troopers were losing, you could see that clear as day, as the Jedi was quickly becoming the only one still standing. You watched, waiting on baited breath in fear.
The jedi, was all alone now...you watched in horror as the droids just kept coming.
This was it for him, you supposed...
Just as you thought the sentiment, your peripheral caught movement. Your eyes darted to the side to witness one solider stand back up, you gaze taking in his beaten form.
How in the stars could he even move after all that...?!
You instantly were in awe with the man, but your amazement lasted only a short time as you watched the two desperately fighting on with all their might.
The droids began to surround them in earnest, and you couldn't bear to watch on... There had to be something you could do...!
Your eyes caught sight of some rocks on the ledge, they looked precariously settled. Maybe you could...
You ears pricked as you heard the jedi call out, the trooper must have fallen, at least that is what you suspected. If you were quick...just maybe you could save them.
Summoning not only your courage, but your strength...you pushed against the rocks with all your might!!!
Until!!!
You caught yourself just in time, as the cliff came apart and tumbled down toward the droids and republic men - only to watch the other ledge get...taller...?
Your heart fell to your stomach as you screamed, scrambling for a foot or hand hold onto SOMETHING.
Your eyes darted to your destination, watching the droids shoot down the jedi. You were too late, and your attempt of rescue was going to end you as well - what a way to go.
If only you'd been smarter.
If only you hadn't tried to help.
But as the rocks tumbled down and smashed into droids, they somehow managed to narrowly avoid the bodies of the two men. And just as you thought all was lost for you...your heels caught onto a lower ledge. Mere feet from the ground, but it was something.
Panic coursed through your veins, you panted for a moment to catch your breath, but found yourself hurriedly climbing down. Your feet and fingers already lowering you down the cliffside until your feet touched the ground. Without so much of a thought, you ran to the bodies, first dropping to your knees beside the jedi.
Your fingers frantically moved about the exposed flesh of his neck - but no pulse was to be found. You swallowed thickly and maneuvered to the trooper and ducking down to him. Your trembling fingers fumbled around his armour to access his skin, and-
You gasped, quickly leaning your face to his own. Barely. Just barely, you could feel his breath. Hardly a whisp of life remained in him.
You started ripping at the plastoid, it was beat up anyways and it was stopping you from getting to his body. You had a chance - and you were taking it.
No matter the consequence.
Brown eyes stared up at the rock-ceiling but hadn't bothered to move. Keeli's eyes darted about as he tried to make sense of everything.
Hadn't he been shot down? Wasn't he dead...?
The very next question bubbled from his hoarse throat and through his chapped lips
"W-where am I...?!"
He gasped as he tried to sit up, pain blooming across his body, and was met with a gentle hand. His eyes darted to the assertive yet gentle touch, gaze following it to meet your concerned eyes.
His mind raced. So not dead. On Ryloth still - or at least he had a Twi'lek caring for him.
"Don't move so fast" you urged in a hush voice "you'll open all your wounds. Grandma spent a long time putting you back together"
Already, his brow was caked in sweat from exertion. And despite his mind urging him to hurry and get up and back to his men - to his general, he allowed you to push him back into the mattress.
Brown eyes locked onto your form, watching you with the close study of a trapped and wounded animal.
You smiled kindly and reached to the side, settling the cool cloth against his forehead then gliding it gingerly along his face.
"I'm sorry about your troops..." you began softly as you swept the cloth across his jaw.
You then took it away to dip it back in the bowl and wring it out. You glanced back to him, eyes flickering to his bare collar then back to his eyes in a silent plea for his permission. You had to forgo before due to him being unconscious...but you'd hate to impose your wants now - even if they were in his best interest.
The man let out a huff but relented, eyes closing and gifting you the tiniest of nods.
You brought the cloth back, wiping at his neck and his collar and shoulders silently, then set the cloth back.
You turned to leave, but your body lingered. Turning back to the man, you patted his hand with the gentility of touching thin and cracked glass.
"I was too late to save your jedi companion...but I was able to get you out. I wish I had been braver and stronger, if I had...perhaps things could have been different." you confessed quietly "But I am neither. So you will have to forgive me for that."
The clone only glanced his eyes towards you, not bothering to move his face to fully give his attention.
"Grandma said you would hopefully recover soon." you offered as you slowly stood "Until then, you'll be stuck with us. If you need anything, just call."
You then gave him your name and excused yourself from the room
Captain Keeli, as he'd later introduced himself as, had been cautious and unsure of you and your grandmother at first. It must've seemed weird, two Twi'leks living out in the middle of nowhere on their own...but he never stopped either of you from helping him in the healing process.
As the days wore on, he slowly relaxed and was willing to chat with you - until you seemed to spend more time chatting at his bedside than you did anything else. Keeli spent his time within your bed fiddling with his equipment or trying to barter you for small chores. The aimlessness of bedrest was not something that sat well with him, so it seemed, as he was more than happy to peel root vegetables while sitting in bed.
"Keeli, dear..." Your grandma began slowly with a smile "these wounds are healing nicely...soon you won't be stuck in this bed" she patted his arm affectionately
"Thank you ma'a-"
"Ah?"
"G-Grandma" he fumbled
"Much better" she beamed proudly to herself as she pulled her body to its feet "Now...if I could just get that grandchild of mine to listen as well as you do..."
Keeli chuckled softly as he pulled the robe-like top closed. You and your grandmother were quite the pair, and a duo he had grown not only accustomed to, but attached to.
It had been weeks since he and General Di had made that stand for Cham and his soliders. Weeks since he'd most likely been presumed dead. The captain wasn't sure what he was going to do with himself.
His commlink had been dammaged heavily during the battle, although you probably left some further damage to it when you had frantically been ripping his armour from him back then... so he'd been unable to get word to the Republic. And despite your ventures out and about...you'd yet to find a way to get a hold of Cham or his people.
"You know...one of these days..." your grandmother mused as she returned with a sweet roll for the captain "I won't be here"
"You shouldn't talk like that ma- ...uh... Grandma" Keeli urged softly, taking the delightful pastry
Your grandmother waved her magenta hand with a dramatic flair
"Nonsense, I am far too old to be told what to do-" she argued humoursly "but that's not the point. What is, is that my dear sweet grandchild will be left all on their own. I worry...that sweet little one has been tottling after me since their first breath. " she sighed as she rested back into the chair
"They love you a great deal m...Grandma" he pointed out in a gentle tone, his eyes watching the elderly Twi'lek as she seemed to drift away into her memories
"There's nobody here for them...and they will not leave this old bat behind" she frowned "If...if you decide you are unable to return to the fight, I would like for you to entertain the idea of staying."
"Ah..." his eyes darted about as he shifted uncomfortably in the bed
"I understand it's a touchy topic, and I am not telling you to give up on your life. I only ask that you think it over. That is all that I wish." she hummed as she began to stand "That is all that thanks I need for bringing you back to health. Though, if you do leave...I would hope you remember us fondly"
With that, Keeli was left to his thoughts and his feelings.
The weeks bled into months, now it had been 4 months' time since you'd rescued the clone. Keeli has long since been up and about, helping you and your grandmother around your home, yet...the captain never left. Never ventured out to find his brethern like he probably should've. Instead...he stayed close to you.
Over the time you'd spent with the captain, the two of you had developed into quite the team. And it soon became apparent, to you, that your feelings were not just infatuation or awe. You cared deeply for the once Captain and it pained you anytime you thought of him walking out of your life forever.
You turned at the sound of your name, your gaze finding those warm chocolate hues you adored.
"It's getting late, we better head in" he nodded towards the entrance of your home, holding a hand out to you "Don't want to worry Grandma"
You smiled, gratefully grasped his hand and let him lead you back to the home.
His hand was warm, as it enveloped your own...snugly...safely.
Your cheeks warmed at the cozy feeling settled deep inside your breast.
"You're awfully spacey...something bothering you?" he paused to watch your expressions
"...Keeli...? Are you happy?" you asked hesitantly, your gaze turning away from him and to the land beyond you both
"I think I'm as happy as one can expect to be" he mused, squeezing your hand "Don't tell me you're all upset over my happiness or lack thereof"
You didn't reply right away, instead your gaze shifted to the holster he kept on his hips. One of the few pieces of his armour he continued to wear.
"Hey...I'm not going anywhere" he spoke softly, pulling you to him and gently taking your other hand "Unless, of course, you want me to leave."
"N-no, I-"
"Good, because if I'm being honest...I don't want to leave. I don't want to go back" he confessed with a smile "Actually, I...I'm not sure how to put this..."
"Put...what...?"
"I've never really felt like this before, this calm and just...content. And you. You- well, I feel a lot for you too" he smiled bashfully his gaze searching for any sort of tell to give way to your feelings on the subject
You stared at him with surprise then pleased embaressment
"I care for you as well" you smiled back
Enboldened by your words, he crept closer to you. The two of you sharing the same space as his hand glided up to cup your cheek
"Then..." his gaze shifted from holding your own to your lips "would it be acceptable for me to stay? With you...?"
Your breath hitched as his face neared, his breath ghosting across your face
"Ma Sareen, there is nowhere else I'd rather be" he whispered
You gasped softly at the phrase in your native tongue
"Grandma may have taught me how to say it properly"
"Just tell him you love him back!" Your grandma yelled impatiently
The spell momentarily broken, you both let out your own breathy laughs
"Grandma...!"
She huffed at you and headed back inside.
"I'm so, so-"
Just as you turned back to Keeli, you found his lips upon your own. Your heart pounded in your ears as you melted against him, your fingers gathering the fabric of his shirt to ground you. The sweet and earnest display of affection was rapidly moving to something more sensual as your lips moved together.
All too soon, he pulled back and pulled you in for a tight embrace. He cheek resting against your own as he held you, although you could feel his heart hammering in his chest just as much as yours was in your own.
"I'm never leaving...I promise. We'll have all the time in the world" he pledged tenderly
You nodded softly, lekku twirling around each other in a silent show of your feelings, as you agreed happily
"All the time in the world"

*Introduction*
In the year following the fall of Palpatine, the Clone Rights and Personhood Act ushered in the age of clones integrating into civilian life.
While Right To Love Matchmaking Services was helping troopers find their way in love, many troopers still found the transition to regular life from combat challenging.
And so Pets 4 Vets was born. P4V Service Pet Services helps clone troopers find forever friends to help them acclimate to their new civilian lives and to assist with the scars of war; both visible and invisible.
Pets 4 Vets is a nonprofit organization, proudly funded by the senate with notable senators such as Padmé Amidala, Riyo Chuchi, and Mon Mothma volunteering time and funds to the cause!

The Only Exception:
Foreword, Basics, and References
Basics: 3rd POV, primarily following the main character (OC) with occasional shifts to other perspectives (separated by chapter).
Pairing: Captain Howzer x fem!OC; then Jesse x fem!OC; then maybe something else… maybe something of the same… TEEHEE
Characters: more clone OC’s than I can count, tons of human OC’s, Twi-lek OC’s, many of our favourite TCW characters like Fives, Echo, Jesse, Kix, and Rex playing large parts of the story. Tup, Hardcase, Dogma, Cody, Keeli, and others also make appearances.
Rating: will shift chapter by chapter between 16+ for mature themes, and 18+ for explicit themes.
Posting Schedule: will not be consistent. The undulation of ADHD means there are days to weeks where my brain can’t translate a single sentence from thought to written word, so I’m hesitant to commit to a structured, weekly schedule but will do my best.
Things that probably don’t need to be noted, but because I’m both anxious and uncontrollably long-winded, I feel the need to explain:
This work was written novel style, and not necessarily the traditional 2nd POV, x reader fanfiction style that we all know and love. These characters have names, histories, appearances that are both eluded to and mildly described, as well as personality traits that may not be desirable to some. For example: the main character, June, harbors some resentment toward men because of some lingering trauma from her past, and unfortunately lets it influence many of her decisions. There are times, particularly in the beginning of the story, where she can be highly sensitive to what some would consider harmless, off-the-cuff remarks, and becomes combative and irrational as a result. Her reactions are particularly placed to emphasize aspects of her character, so that we can witness her growth and/or regressions throughout the story.
In that same token, this story will hover around + touch on some uncomfortable topics, particularly toward the end. Whump/angst/hurt+comfort/fluff/smut will all be present themes, and I WILL be tagging each chapter very clearly and very thoroughly. SA and parental trauma will be eluded to throughout the entirety of the story and recollected/explained toward the end. Additionally, smut scenes will be segregated into their own chapters and will be written as not to affect the flow of the story, so if you choose to skip those, you don’t miss out on anything plot wise. All of that being said, this is largely a light hearted story about growth and unexpected love as it presents itself in several forms.
Additionally (and very importantly) June is highly intelligent and medically proficient. I am neither of those things. Not even close. I tried to research as much medical terminology as possible prior to/during writing, but probably 75% of it will make no sense to someone who’s very familiar with medical things/conditions/procedures. Lastly, I tried to keep this story as canon compliant as possible, but the Clone Wars timeline is challenging to navigate. Creative liberty was taken in some spots where canon is murky, but otherwise I tried to remain as true to the Star Wars events as we know them. Language will fluctuate mildly between in-universe and modern day. I kept it as Star Wars as possible, but absolutely refuse to use “transparisteel” in place of glass, “flimsi” makes me cringe, and will always prefer shower over “sonic” lol

Common Star Wars words are below:
Holo Computer: Desktop Computer
Holopad: kinda like a cellphone
Datapad: kinda like an iPad/tablet
Durasteel: metal
Duraplas: plastic
Massiff: a dog-ish creature that kinda looks like an alligator lol
“Kriff”: “Fuck” or “Shit” (a swear word, not the noun of a fuck or a shit lol)
“Kriffing”: “Fucking” (adjective, not the action of fucking)
Chrono: watch/clock
Hoverbed: like a gurney or hospital bed that floats
Air Speeder: floating car with side-by-side seats
Speeder bike: floating motorcycle
Fresher: washroom/bathroom/loo
Di’kut: Idiot
Mesh’la: beautiful (noun)
Cyare: darling (noun)
Caf: coffee
“Maker” or “Gods” or “Stars”: “God” or “Lord” (frustrated; not religious lol)
Camtono: a cooler/portable freezer
Flimsi: paper
a bajillion more listed in this fantastic post.
Terms I made up because canon was lacking (list is on-going):
NBA or Nociceptor Blocking Agent: the pain injection we see them jab into peoples necks
USI or Universal Serum Injector: the injection tool itself (serum vial is loaded per dose)
Defibrillator “defib” Pods: small, high tech, portable defibrillator
Cleanser Tube: essentially a washing machine recessed into the hall. Very similar to a front loading washing machine where only the door is visible.
Sanitation Station: a weird contraption that cleans/disinfects someone’s hands before coating them in nitrile (instead of pulling on surgical gloves).
“Maker have mercy”: “for the love of God” (frustrated; not religious lol)
Blue wine: white wine
Purple wine: red wine
Cauterizing Pen/Electromagnetic Stapler: used in the place of stitches
MedScanner: I did not conceptualize the scanner itself, but did make up all the settings and uses lol
“Flimsi Flinger”: “Paper Pusher”
“Double-barrelled Blaster”: a double edged sword
#also fkn LMAO at me changing the title of my own story#titles are my NEMESIS#I can’t commit#title anxiety is real#anywhooo#pls enjoy#The Only Exception#OC Sundays#fem!OC x Howzer#Howzer x fem!OC#fem!OC x Captain Howzer#Captain Howzer x fem!OC

I loved this. I’m so glad Keeli and General Di survived. Keeli was my first Clone love. He didn’t deserve to die.
Reinforcements
Square : Medic
Pairing : Keeli x gn!jedi!reader
Warnings : established relationship, angst, violence, mention of reader's death and death in general, blood, reader being shot and injured, mention of medical equipements
Wordcount : 3k
Summary : As the battle of Ryloth is raging and the planet is under Separatist's blockade, you and your men are secretly send as reinforcements to help General Di and Captain Keeli's batallion to face the droid army. You are ready to do whatever it takes to save their lives, even sacrificing yourself.
A/N : Here is my third submission for the @clonexreaderbingo ! I'm absolutely head over heels for that man, he's one of my favs and I think that he deserves more love (in a completely objective way, of course 😄) I'm still not over what happen to him in Clone Wars, so I had to write something to fix it ! (yay ! another Everybody Lives AU !)
Disclaimer : I'm still struggling to understand English grammar properly, English is not my native language and even if I have proofread my writtings several times, there is probably still typos in it. I'm very self conscious about it and I apologize for it in advance, but I'm doing my best to do better and I'm actively working at improving my writting skills !
So if you spot a typo, feel free to point it to me so I can correct it, it will be much appreciated :)
Your heart was beating faster than ever and you were awfully nervous, absolutely unable to stay quiet, your hands fidgeting with your lightsaber handle, twitching it again and again between your fingers, waiting desperately for the ship’s hold to open. You were standing still nonetheless, but your hands and your head were unable to find rest. Frightening thoughts were flashing up behind your eyes, sending shivers down your spine. What if it was already too late ? What if, while you were waiting here, the fight was already engaged and about to be lost ? What if they were already dead and that the last thing on their minds was that they had been abandoned to their faith ? It was unbearable. You were doing your best to look as calm and as composed as possible in front of your men, but it was a pretty hard exercise.
You knew that General Di and his garrison were doomed if no reinforcement was sent their way, so you and General Skywalker got an idea. Food supplies were about to be sent to Ryloth to help the population survive despite the separatist blockade and attacks. So, you decided to hide with your men inside one of the food supplies containers and wait for them to be throw from the sky down to reach the ground without being caught be the enemy to help them.
It was the perfect plan, your best and only chance at first, but the negotiation led by Senator Organa took longer than expected, and the supply ship departure was delayed, which wasted precious time given the urgency of the situation.
Suddenly, you felt an abrupt jolt as the container was finally released. The fall was quick, and the impact was so violent that you and your men were send flying against its metallic walls, falling on top of each other. You stay disoriented for a few seconds, before your inner voice screamed you to move. You get up on your feet, quickly helping your soldiers to stand up.
“Are you ready ?” you ask, looking at them with determination.
“Yes ma’am !”
“Let’s go then !” you draw your lightsaber, its blue light filling the confined space, followed by the warm glow of melted metal as you cut it open to create an exit.
As you hastily escape the container, bullets immediately started to fly toward you. The landing of the container has drawn the attention of the droids posted on the area, and now they were coming for you. You frantically look around you, searching for the presence of other clones around, while shielding your men with your lightsaber.
In the distance, you catch a glimpse of a flock of clankers heading toward one particular spot. The force signature that was emanating from there was highly recognizable : it was them.
“This way !” you scream to your men, opening a path for them by slicing the droids out of the way.
As you grew nearer, more and more bodies of fallen troopers were laying on the ground, and you pray to arrive soon enough to, at least, be able to save a couple lives.
You were running as fast as you could, cutting through everything that was getting in your way, trying your best to prevent your men from being shot, when you hear a piercing scream behind you. One of them was on the ground, an impact on his chest.
“No …” you mutter, knowing that you couldn’t do anything for him anymore. Turning around wasn’t an option, you needed to move forward no matter what.
“No !!” you scream with rage, sending a force wave to repel the attackers that were chasing you. The force signatures were getting closer, but you could feel that they were filled with struggle, and that their strength was starting to teeter.
Time was running out, and your pace wasn’t fast enough. You suddenly stop running, shouting to your men to stay close to you. You released another force wave, more powerful than the first, creating a wide empty perimeter around them.
“I’m going ahead, it’s the only chance to save them on time. This space I just created will give you a little advance on the droids, meet me there as soon as possible, be careful, soldiers !” you shout, looking at your clone captain. As soon as he nodded to you, you start to run again, and after a few steps, jump into the air, using the force to propel yourself.
***
At the center of the droid’s attention were only two men left. The jedi Master and his Captain were exhausted and overwhelmed, but they were still standing, determined to fight until their last breath. The free space around them was getting smaller and smaller, their bodies were tired, and they could feel death inevitably coming their way.
“So this is it, this is how it will end …” Captain Keeli was thinking, when suddenly, a violent tremor made the ground shake beneath his feet. Something has just landed only inches from him. His eyes widen in surprise when he notices that the droids have moved a few meters back and were laying on the ground. In shock, he looks around him, trying to understand what had just happened. When he came face to face with you, standing next to him with your lightsaber in hand, he gasps, his eyes sparkling with hope.
“Keep fighting, don’t let your guard down Captain, my men are on their way !”
He didn’t get the time to answer with anything else but a fond smile before the droids started to get back up on their feet and aim at the three of you again.
You did your best to defend your position, you knew that your squad will be here soon, and you also knew that your container was not the only one to be released. Plenty of soldiers were heading toward you right now, all you had to do was to stand your ground until they reach you.
But even with one more fighter, your group was still overly outnumbered. Your opponents were gaining ground again, and even if you were sending force waves at them to slow them down, they were relentlessly coming back at you again and again in an endless metal flow.
As you were shielding your comrades, you felt a sudden and violent disturbance in the force. You turn around to look in terror at General Di, only to see him fall to the ground, and you arrived at just the right time to get in the way before another shot could find him.
Keeli noticed it too, and gave you a frightened look.
“Don’t give up” you shoot through the blasters sounds, “he’s not dead yet, we have to hold on, come on !” a rush of adrenaline washes over both of you, and without even thinking about it, you were back –to-back, protecting the jedi with your last strands of energy. He was not dead yet, indeed, you could still feel his force signature, weaker, but still glowing.
After a few more never-ending moments of fight, you finally catch a glimpse of a group of soldiers coming your way, the bustle diverting the droid’s attention from you.
“They made it” you mumble.
“The reinforcements are coming !” Keeli shout at you, noticing it too.
“I know !” you yell back with excitation in your voice, “just a few more minutes to hold on and it will be over, come on, we can make it !”
The idea of a rescue gave you a big resurgence of strength, and you both started to fight with even more determination.
But in the heat of the action, as you thought that things were going to resolve quickly, you heard Keeli lets out a scream. Your heart skipped a bit as you turned to face him. Both of his blasters were on the ground, and he was stunned and confused.
Without hesitation, you move between him and the wall of droids, shielding him until he retrieves his weapons. As you tried to stay focus on every side at the same time, dodging and blocking every fire you could, you accidentally missed one.
You gasp at the sudden pain tearing the back of your left shoulder apart. You were paralyzed, unable to move, until you hear Keeli’s voice desperately yelling your name.
“I’m fine !” you yell back, responding to the attack with another force wave, offering yourself a few seconds to get yourself together.
But as hard as you tried to ignore the pain, it was so intense that you had a hard time staying focused on the fight. You cut through a few more clankers, but it was so excruciating that it distracted you enough for you to miss another shot.
The impact was so violent that you lose your balance. You hand reflexively settled on your chest, and your eyes widen at the huge amount of blood that was covering your palm when you looked at it. Your vision become blurry, and the only thing you could hear now was the beating of your heart echoing inside your head, as you feel your consciousness slowly slipping away.
But as flash of lucidity crossed your mind : you couldn’t abandon now, the fight wasn’t over, and you weren’t alone in this. Two people were counting on you, and it was your duty to make sure that they survive.
That thought instantly made you regain your composure and gave you enough courage to carry on and retaliate, until a familiar voice was heard.
“They’re here ! This way, this way !” a clone’s voice resonates, soon followed by the appearance of a white and bright orange armor, then two, then a full wave emerging from the sea of droids.
The backups were here, finally. It was only a matter of seconds until the outcome.
Unfortunately, you weren’t able to see the end of it. In the last moments of the battle, the pain struck you again in a violent and unexpected burst. Your head started to spin severely, a taste of blood invading your mouth, your vision went even more blurry, and your legs became weak. And as hard as you tried to stay up on your feet, it was too difficult to resist the numbness, and you soon collapsed on the ground without a warning.
***
When you opened your eyes again, you were laying down on a makeshift med bed, in what seemed to be a med tent, judging by the dark green fabric walls around you. Your first reflex was to try to sit on the bed, but you were quickly stopped by a stabbing ache coming from your upper back and your chest at same time, creating a tightening vice around your abdomen and cutting your breath. You gasp, but you still manage to sit anyway, clenching your jaw. Without noticing it, your move had unplugged the wire of some electrode sticked to the back of your hand from the medical device it was attached to, triggering some frantic beeping sound.
Nearly immediately, a medic burst into the room, making you jump in surprise.
“General, you’re awake ! What have you done ?” the medic lets out in a mix of relief and confusion, reaching for the device.
“I … I’m sorry, I didn’t saw the wire …” you stutter, still out of breath and a bit lost from waking up in an unknow environment.
“It’s okay, don’t worry, it’s nothing … But you should lie down, your bacta patches are still on, and you need to rest for a few more hours before getting up.” the medic answer after he finally made the noise stop.
“I’m sorry, I’m not going anywhere, I just wanted to sit, but I’m fine …”
He came closer to examine you, then look at you insistently.
“Can you promise me that this time you will not leave that tent before being allowed to, General ?”
You felt a bit ashamed at his words, remembering the last time you disobeyed your medic’s orders after being wounded on a battlefield.
“I promise.”
“Great … The Captain told me that I shouldn’t let you get out of here before you’re completely safe and healed, and I don’t want to know what kind of chores he’ll gave me this time if that order is not followed again.”
“The Captain … Is he alright ?” you ask, suddenly remembering what happened on the battlefield.
“He is, and he asked me to tell him when you’ll wake up. Can I let him in if he ask for it ?” the man answers in a softer tone.
“Of course, you can, thank you.”
He nodded before leaving the room, and you stayed here, sat on your bed, your heart starting to beat faster in anticipation. It didn’t take long until hurrying footsteps were heard coming toward you, and for the fabric curtain delimiting the space to be moved aside, revealing the face of your beloved captain.
“Keeli !” you let out, a smile unconsciously appearing on your lips.
As soon as he saw you, his expression of concern changed into relief.
“(y/n) …” he whispers in a weak voice filled with emotion. He gets himself together quickly, and turned toward the outside to thank the medic and ask him to give you some time alone, before entering the room and closing the curtain behind him.
“Mesh’la …” he whispers again, coming closer to you, “I was so worried about you … you took two shots, it was a miracle that you were still standing … I mean, you should be dead, and … and ... I can’t believe that you ended up hurting yourself so bad for us … That’s insane, I thought that I have lost you …”
The words were escaping his mouth at the speed of the light, he wanted to tell you so many things, but he couldn’t control his voice, and his thoughts came out messily, making him feel ashamed about how harsh and reproachful they sounded.
“Is .. Is general Di alright ?” you hesitantly mutter, fearing the answer.
“Yes, he is, he is badly injured, but according to the medics he’s going to survive. But he’s going to need some close observation for the next couple days, so the decision was made to take him back to Coruscant. He owes you his life …”
“Oh thanks Maker …” you breathed out, your head falling into your hands, like if a very heavy weight had just been released from your shoulders.
You could feel that he wanted to wrap his arms around you but was too afraid to hurt you by touching a painful spot. The bed was high, and you were nearly at the same height as him, so you slowly raised your head to meet his eyes, and stretched your arm to reach his face, softly brushing the tips of your fingers against his skin. You softly smile at him, as he relaxes under your touch.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to worry you … But I just couldn’t leave you here alone to face an inevitable death, I had to do something …” you sigh at the painful thoughts, closing your eyes to refrain the tears from flooding them, in vain.
“… I just couldn’t imagine a world without you by my side, that’s impossible, that can’t be … I just can’t live without you, you know … I love you, and I’d rather give my life for you than having to spend the rest of it alone ...”
Tears were now rolling down your cheeks, and you weren’t trying to stop them anymore. His eyes were watery too. He was so deeply moved by your words that he couldn’t answer anything. Instead, he cupped your cheeks with his hands, holding your face like if it was the most precious jewel in the whole galaxy, and placed a gentle kiss on your trembling lips.
For a moment, you forget about the war, about the corpses, about death, pain, suffering, orders. Nothing seemed to matter anymore but the feeling of his lips against yours.
“I love you too, mesh’la, more than anything … It was reckless, but you saved my life, and I just can’t express how thankful I am … I feel so lucky to have you, you have no idea …” he breathed oud, tears falling from his eyes, and a beautiful smile on his lips.
You smiled back, happier than ever to have him by your side.
“I wish I could hug you right now, but I’m not sure that it’s a good idea …”
“I don’t think neither”, you chuckle, “but I hope that we’ll catch this up later.”
“Of course, we will, as soon as possible, I promise.”
Outside of the room, you suddenly hear the distant voice of a soldier asking someone where the captain was.
“Seems like duty is calling you again ...” you said, trying to hide your disappointment in your voice.
“Yeah, seems like it, indeed …” his smile faded, and you look at each other for a few more seconds before he takes your hands in his.
“I have to go, but I’ll be back soon. Take some rest, you deserve it. And … I know that I’m rambling but … don’t forget that I love you, more than anything.”
You’ve heard these words a million times before, but it was still making your heart melt no matter what.
“Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere, I’ll wait for you. And I like your ramblings, by the way !” you answer playfully,” I love you too, don’t forget about it neither.”
He placed a gentle and reassuring kiss on your forehead, and then he was gone, back to his men and his duty.
As you lied back on the bed, trying to ignore the pain, you think about how you just came near death once again. But you weren’t worried about it, because you knew that your most important mission has been fulfilled : to protect the life of the one you love.

Shadows of Ryloth
Summary: As the end nears, Master Di reflects and confronts his Captain about secrets poorly kept
Pairing: Keeli x Fem!OC (unnamed)
Warnings/Tags: Angst, Canon Character Deaths (implied)... otherwise none. I controlled myself this time.
Word Count: 785
A/N: Trying to fix my writer’s block with a little one-shot/drabble AU if Master Di had a padawan and she and the prettiest clone fell in love. NO Master/Padawan. All love between Di and the reader is familial.
Ao3
Master Di had feigned ignorance for months now. He pretended he didn’t see the first moment that they had locked eyes and he just kept pretending after that. Maybe he should have intervened right away but the war pulled his attention from his Padawan. After all, she was nearly ready for her trials and had proved herself time and time again. He assumed the diliances of youth would fade as time went on. So he ignored it. Now though, he couldn’t pretend anymore. His Padawan and his commanding officer were embracing right in front of him.
They were pressed against the shadows of the rocky terrain, oblivious to any eyes watching from the darkness of the night. It was a well hidden spot. Only someone who hadn’t been able to sleep and walked far from camp, perhaps to ease his own troubled mind, would have stumbled upon them. Unfortunately, that meant that Master Di watched as his padawan wept and Keeli pulled her into his arms.
“I don’t want to go.” She let out a small sob into his chest. “Not without you.”
“I know.” He ran a hand through her hair, tilting her face up to his. “But you have to. These are our orders.”
“But you and Master Di…” She stuttered.
“I will protect him and he will look after me. We’ll see you again soon but we need you to lead Cham and the resistance to safety.”
“You swear you’ll be okay?”
“Yes.”
Master Di could hear what Keeli didn’t say, that as long as he knows that she is safe, he will be okay. He knew those unspoken words because he felt the same. He envied the Jedi who didn’t grow attached to their padawans. He couldn’t imagine feeling anything but a deep fatherly love for her and, when he thought about it, that had a lot to do about why he ignored the obvious, budding relationship between her and Keeli. He wanted her to be happy and he wanted her to be loved. He slipped back to his tent, leaving the couple alone in the dark.
She left with the first wave of refugees in the early morning light. In the chaos of the retreat, there was no time for goodbyes or soft words. Instead, Master Di and Keeli stood side-by-side, watching her retreat. She glanced over her shoulder, sending them a small wave. Keeli saluted her, letting his eyes linger just for a moment as she turned on the blurrg and began to lead the families over the mountain.
…
Now, they wait at the base of the ravine. Tension ripples through the men and small clicks echo off the walls like raindrops on stone as they check and recheck their weapons. Master Di stands next to his captain, the only one of the men who isn’t fidgeting.
“Captain, I must confess. I saw you last night.” Master Di’s words are light but meaning is deeply intertwined with every syllable.
Keeli’s face reveals nothing. He isn’t going to flinch unless he is given no choice. So Master Di changes his course and meets him head on.
“With my Padawan.”
“Ah.” When Keeli finally flinches, it is no more than the slightest twitch of his jaw. Di smiles just a bit as he admires his Captain’s courage.
“Keeli,” He starts before the clone quickly speaks.
“If you’re looking for someone to blame, the fault is mine.”
“Right now?” Master Di guides Keeli’s eyes to the army of droids about to descend on them, marching down the middle of the ravine. “That is not my concern.”
Keeli gives him a small smile. Master Di finds himself wishing that they had more time. While that thought consumes him for a moment, Keeli speaks up.
“I know my role, General. I know where my focus needs to be.” Keeli chooses his words carefully. “But I can’t deny how I feel, especially when I feel it with all that I am. I live for her and I would die for her.”
“We’re not supposed to have attachments.” Master Di frowns as he turns his eyes towards the thankfully empty west ridge. She is safe, along with Cham and the twi’lek resistance. There is no time left for being precious. No time for worrying about what the Council would think. They are not here and they aren’t coming. “But she’s been like a daughter to me and I confess I feel the same.”
Keeli nods before he slides his helmet over his head.
“Well then…” His voice trails off as he focuses on the swell of B2s about to consume them.
The drone of the droids almost drowns out Di’s next words.
“Indeed.”
Master Di ignites his lightsaber.

The Greatest Score
Summary: You’re one of the greatest thieves in the Galaxy, targeting banks and museums, and everything in between. You have morals, though, and refuse to deal in people. Turns out your new crew doesn’t.
Pairing: Pre- Captain Keeli x F!Reader
Word Count: 1542
Warnings: Mentions of slavery
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni @imabeautifulbutterfly
A/N: This is not a request, but I've had Keeli in my head all morning, so I had to write something for him. Sorry, not sorry.
You’ve been a thief for as long as you can remember. In fact, your earliest memory is of stealing a plush tooka from the store because your parents wouldn’t buy it for you.
You didn’t get caught, but it did start a motion of events that saw you removed from your parent's home, and shoved into a group home under the care of a man who, as it happened, was an intergalactic jewelry thief.
The other kids at the group home made up your first crew.
And, as you grew, you only became a better thief. You were earning larger and larger scores until even your mentor was overshadowed by what you’ve accomplished.
In the end, your siblings ended up in jail, and your mentor vanished after your older sister (a safecracker) pointed her finger at him as the ring leader of the gang.
Not a single one of your siblings implicated you, though.
Valid, since you wouldn’t have ratted on any of them if you had been captured.
But, since then, you’ve been bouncing from crew to crew, trying to find a place where you belong.
This most recent crew that you’ve signed on with is okay. You like them well enough, you suppose. They’re a cheerful bunch and don’t have any violent crimes to their names, so you’re somewhat comfortable with them.
But you don’t trust them.
Only an idiot trusts a group of criminals.
You may be many things, but an idiot isn’t one of them.
You prop your feet up on a table as you flip to the next page of the book that you’re reading. It’s some trashy romance novel, and you picked it up on the last planet you visited.
It’s not good, by any definition of the word, but you are enjoying the ridiculous plot lines.
As a bonus, your new crew mates seem to think that reading means that you can’t hear them as they discuss their plans for the, in their words, “massive” score that they’re going to sell when they go to Zygaria.
The crew leader, a Corellian man, says your name and you look up at him as he smiles at you kindly. “It’s getting late,” He offers.
You hum thoughtfully, “I’m gonna stay up a bit longer. I want to finish a little more of my book.”
He chuckles and nods, “Alright. G’night.”
“Yeah, I’ll see you in the morning.” You focus your attention on the book as the rest of the crew starts retiring for the night.
And, before you know it, you’re alone.
At this point, you know your crew, and you know that none of them are going to leave their rooms until their alarms go off in the morning. They’re creatures of habit, your current crew, and you have no problems taking advantage of that.
You wait half an hour, to make sure that everyone is asleep, and then you set your datapad aside and get to your feet.
According to what you overheard, the score that they’re hiding from you is being kept in the cargo hold.
Silent as a ghost, you move through the ship going down the lift to the very bottom of the ship, and turning away from the hanger that holds your ship, and towards the cargo back on the other end of the hall.
You open the door, unsurprised that it’s not locked, and step into the dimmed room.
You flip the switch to turn on the lights and cast your gaze around the room. There’s the one crate of your personal belongings (filled with clothes and costume jewelry mostly), and the piles of crates belonging to the rest of the crew.
But there’s nothing new or unusual in here.
You head further into the cargo bay, heading towards your crate, when something catches your eye. There, in the back, is a stack of crates that have been piled unusually.
Strange.
Carefully you circle the crates and ease through a small opening in the back, and the moment you see what the “score” is, your breath catches in your throat.
It’s a man.
A clone, to be specific.
He’s badly injured, his hands are bound behind his back, and his feet are bound together. He has a gag around his mouth, and there’s dried blood caked to his face.
Though, despite his injuries, he’s awake, and he’s glaring at you.
Your gaze darts up, scanning for any cameras or a security system, though when you don’t see anything, and when your comm doesn’t ping anything unusual, you squeeze into the small area.
Immediately you kneel in front of him and pull the gag away from his face, and then you reach around him to unfasten his arms.
He’s still glaring at you, but it’s fading as he realizes that you’re releasing him from his binds.
The clone isn’t wearing armor, he’s been stripped to the bottom part of his undersuit, which means that you can’t identify which battalion he was a part of using that.
However, the last planet you were on was Ryloth…and you distinctly remember that a battalion was recently wiped out there.
You gaze at him thoughtfully and then introduce yourself.
He’s quiet for a long time, “Keeli.” He finally says, his voice hoarse, “I’m Captain Keeli.” He narrows his eyes at you, “Selling a Soldier of the GAR is a punishable offense—”
You lean against a crate, a frown pulling your lips down, “They intend to sell you to the Zygarrians.”
It’s not a question so much as a statement of fact.
You’re a thief, you don’t deal in people.
Period.
Your crew knew that when they asked you to join them. They knew that slavery was a hard limit for you and that you would walk away if it ever looked like they were part of the flesh trade.
Well, walk away after ruining their lives.
“You expect me to believe that you didn’t know?” Keeli demands.
“I don’t deal in people.” You reply flatly, “I’m a thief, I deal in goods.” You consider him for a moment, “You’re from the battalion on Ryloth?”
Keeli scowls at you, “What of it?”
“Well, reports indicate that the entire battalion was wiped out,” You reply, “Which means no one will look for you.” His face falls and you straighten, “But, I’m not going to let them sell you. Because I’m not a monster. Can you walk?”
Slowly, painfully, he pushes himself to his feet, “Course I can.”
“Good. My ship is right down the hall, we’re leaving.”
“And going where?”
You shrug, “Somewhere else. I’m sure I can drop you off somewhere if that’s what you want.” You lead him out of the “room” made by the crates and into the cargo bay, then over to your crate of stuff.
You open your crate and offer him some clothes that used to belong to your older brother, they’ll be a bit big on Keeli, but better than walking around half-naked.
Keeli pulls the shirt over his head, “What I want,” He bites out, “Is for these assholes to pay for what they were going to do to me.”
“No need to worry about that, Captain. They will.”
He stares at you in disbelief.
You notice his stare and you smile at him, it’s all teeth, “I’m a thief, Captain. And I warned them about what I would do if they ever turned to the slave trade.” You toss him a pair of boots that might fit him, and then shut the crate again.
Keeli pulls the rest of the clothes on, and quickly ties the laces of the boots, his gaze locked on you, “You’re a decent person, for a thief.”
“Yeah, well…don’t tell anyone. It’ll ruin my reputation.” You motion for him to follow you, “My ship isn’t far.”
Keeli stares at you for a moment, not moving. “I don’t want to go back to the GAR,” He says to you, “I want to fight slavery.”
“Great, I’m sure there are plenty of organizations—” You start.
“You’re a thief, right?”
“...yeah?”
“How would you like to help me steal thousands of people out from under the noses of their masters?” Keeli asks.
“There’s no money in that.” You point out, “I didn’t become a thief because I’m an overly altruistic person, Captain.”
“Slave owners have money,” He points out.
You purse your lips, considering his words for a moment, “I suppose you do have a point.”
“Besides, where’s the challenge of stealing from ordinary people or museums?” Keeli asks, “If you steal from master criminals, then wouldn’t that truly make you a master thief?”
You throw your hands up, “Fine! You can stop trying to sell me on this idea, I’ll help you. Once. If it’s not profitable, then we’ll stop.”
Keeli smirks, “Deal.”
You scowl at him, “Stop being so smug, it’s not attractive.”
“It’ll grow on you, cyar’ika.”
You have no idea what the unfamiliar word means, but based on his tone you can tell he doesn’t mean it affectionately, so you narrow your eyes at him, “We need to leave. Follow me.” This is either going to be the greatest score you’ve ever stolen in your life…or the worst.
Only time will tell.

YASSSS, I love a longfic appreciation post! I see such mixed reviews about the entire 3rd POV/narration style and, I won’t lie, the significantly lesser degree of engagement it gets compared to the wider-used x reader style can be disheartening for a writer has actively spent months (nice try, Holly, years) world/lore building.
My fic is very much unfinished and ongoing, and will be for a while because 1. I’m very slow, and 2. It’s long.
If anyone is interested in checking out The Only Exception, it’s a story about a surgeon on Coruscant named June Kiore. After living the majority of her teenage/young adult years with the “I don’t need a man” attitude, she inexplicably falls in love with a teal-painted Captain named Howzer.
The story is tumultuous… euphoric at times and depressing at others, takes us through her journey of love and learning to accept it in all its many forms, and touches on some heavier topics that many of us carry around in our trauma backpacks 🎒
You’ll find lots of our clone wars favourites with a heavy emphasis on Howzer (obv), Kix, Jesse, Echo, and Fives, with a smattering of Rex, Tup, Cody, Keeli, and others.
There is also an entire Battalion of clone OC’s: the 742nd is the brigade that Howzer leads all the way up until his deployment to Ryloth, and they’re an… interesting bunch 😆
If this sounds interesting to you, please ensure you read the Foreword as it goes through what degree and variation of content you can expect in more detail.
Cross posted on ao3 (link here) if that’s your preference, though you won’t get to see of the corresponding header images there (I don’t know how to embed the picture things because I’m 900 years old— v sorry)
It’s been a while since I’ve been as active as I’d like in engaging with much outside the reblogs of my Hunter fic, butttt here I am! 🤓 Since things seem a wee bit quieter nowadays, I’d like to promote the creative works we’ve still got going on! I’ll do future posts for one-shots, but for now…
If you have a longfic, ongoing or finished (please note that in your submission), featuring our beloved clones, please reblog this and link it with a brief description of it, its content rating, and featured characters (OC, Reader, etc)!
And reblog for wider reach! 😍
xoxo

I WANNA LEARN HOW TO FIRE THAT PISTOL
Captain Keeli X OC Reader
Warnings: Corny flirting; yesterday was my first attempt at writing anything other than investigative reports at work. Please be kind.
That first night I met her my heart was in my mouth as soon as I saw her. Her eyes were the color of the most glorious blue sky on a warm sunny day. Her hair was light and wavy, some of the strands lighter than others. Most of it was pulled back and tied behind her head but a few strands fell playfully across her face. Of course the first time I saw her she was lying in the concrete floor; having fallen backwards and banged her head against a metal doorframe when my medic pulled his blaster on her. We weren’t quite sure if she was alive or dead at first. Then she opened those eyes and I fell right into them.
After she gave us some much needed medical supplies; some fluids and bandages, she reminded me I owed her a lesson firing the blaster. She said hunting was a family tradition and my “gun” looked interesting and wanted to learn how to fire it. I was all for a second meeting. I told her she just needed to name the time and place and I’d be there. So now I was on my way to meet her. I could feel my palms sweating right through my gloves.
I pulled up on my speeder bike in the alley behind the hospital she worked at. It was early morning, the sun was just rising. There in the shadows she was standing with her shoulders and one foot against the wall. Her hair was down. It was just past her shoulders and still a bit wet. Gods she was pretty. She was wearing faded green baggy trousers that came up to her hips with large pockets by her knees. The trousers were tucked into worn brown leather boots that laced up about half to her knees. She had on a bright red top that didn’t quite reach the top of the trousers. It had a small hole right at the neckline. On her belt she had what looked like a small knife and maybe a water bottle. Her jacket was faded brown and worn. Her hat was wide brimmed with the brim rolled up a bit on the sides. Kriff! She was gorgeous.
She immediately dashed over to me. “Wow! Is this one of those speeder bikes I’ve seen on the holoweb? This is so cool!” She circled around the bike twice, firing off questions at the speed of light. She never stopped talking long enough for me to answer any of her questions about the speeder bike. “How fast does it go? How far can it go? How does it go above the ground without any wheels?” All I could do is laugh about her exuberance. Next thing I knew she had hopped on behind me and blurted out “Let’s go!”
“Whoa, whoa whoa! You haven’t even told me where we are going or how to get there. You haven’t even told me your name yet for that matter.”
I turned to her and could see a slight blush across her cheeks. Could she possibly be any prettier? “Oh I’m sorry” she drawled. “I’m Lacinda Cornell, but my friends call be Laci. We”ll be going to an old military camp that’s been closed for about 50 years. It has rifle ranges, hills for repelling and old obstacle courses that the troops used to train on. It even has a little creek that runs through it. That’s what these are for.” She holds up two thin poles with sting on them, “I thought I could teach you how to catch some fish.” And with that a huge bright smile lite up her face. I responded, “Well Laci, I can call you Laci, right?” She nodded and flashed a sideways grin, “give me the coordinates to this camp and let’s get on our way.”
That day turned out to be one of the best days of my life so far. Turns out Laci was a natural with the DC17. She thought it would be a little big and bulky but she said it had no “kick” like their guns do so it was easy to shoot. I wasn’t quite as good at fishing, but Laci caught a couple and she found some herbs and cooked us up a nice meal with the supplies she had packed in her backpack. This girl was not only pretty but she’s also pretty kriffing resourceful. It’s karking crazy that I had to go almost all the way across the Galaxy to find the girl of my dreams.

Chapter 2
The war had officially begun after the battle on Geonosis, and along with it came many changes to your life. It seemed that instead of simply living your life by the ways of the jedi and becoming the peacekeeper you were trained to be, you now had to also learn to be a soldier as well. This was never said outright, but it’s what you learned was the new way of things through your own experiences with this war so far. You had voiced this concerning fact to your master, asking how all this violence was “keeping the peace”, and his answer didn’t entirely help to ease your mind.
“It is simple young one, if we do not aid in this war, it is more than likely the Separatists will win, and if that happens, there will no longer be any semblance of peace in the galaxy. They wish to rule, not live together in harmony. We cannot let them prevail, our victory at the end of this war will mean a victory for the galaxy, it will mean peace”, he had told you.
You had given him a somber look at this explanation. “So, what you’re saying is, sometimes in order to have peace, we must get our hands dirty.” It wasn’t a question.
“Not the words I would’ve used, but yes, I guess you could say that”, he’d said.
You had understood this line of thinking and agreed that the Separatists could not win this war, or it would mean a perpetual unrest for the entire galaxy, but that didn’t mean you had to be happy about it. You hated all the constant fighting, always having to be on your guard when you were sent on a mission, never knowing if you or your comrades would make it out alive. It was a never-ending feeling of worry and fear, but you’d be lying if you said it was all bad.
Thanks to your many years of training and the additional training your new comrades provided you, you had become an excellent fighter, saving your company’s hides more than once. Your priority during every mission, besides getting the job done of course, was to get everyone home safely. Other than your master, your men were the most important people in your life, and over the course of the last half year, you had become quite close with all of them. You had started to think that the only truly good thing to come out of this war was the clone army. Yes, they were raised to be fighters, soldiers first and foremost, but after getting to know them, you realized they were so much more than what they were bred for. In fact, you could say with confidence that the clones were the kindest and most honorable men you had ever known, all the ones you had met at least. Some of them had more honor and humility in their little finger than some jedi had in their whole body.
No one fit this description better than your captain, and best friend, Keeli. You two had become very close over these many months, and you considered him your closest companion. He had been the one to initially suggest your extra training after you saying one day that you wished the jedi taught their pupils how to shoot a blaster, as well as swing a lightsaber, because it would’ve proven helpful in situations like the ones you found yourself in these days.
This line of thinking was conjured after a mission where you had been knocked on your back, and although you were spared from the deadly fall over the nearby cliff, your saber was not as lucky. Admittedly, you felt a bit powerless without your weapon, not sure if you could take on the dozens of battle droids quickly approaching your position with just the force alone. Luckily for you, your captain was quick to your side and fired at the droids while you used the force to throw as many over the cliff as you could.
After this mission, he had agreed to train you as best he could, and the other men in your company had been quick to volunteer their services as well. They taught you how to shoot, as well as some forms of hand-to-hand combat. You had been so grateful and felt much more confident out in the field with these extra tricks up your sleeve.
Other than being an excellent teacher, Keeli was a truly amazing friend. He was always there for you; when you needed a confidant to vent all your woes to, when you needed a shoulder to cry on after a particularly dreadful mission, when you needed reassurance to dissipate the self-doubt that always seemed to rear its ugly head, even acting as your support system throughout your trials, and was the first to congratulate you when you passed them and became a jedi knight in your own right. He was all of these, and you tried to be the same for him.
You tried to be there for all your men, they were your comrades, your friends, your family. These men were like the brothers you never had, and they had made it clear that they felt the same.
Perhaps it was this close relationship with your company that caused a worry in the councils’ eyes. Attachment was forbidden for a jedi and could lead one down a path that was hard to come back from, and they were worried you were doing just that, getting attached, to your master and to your men.
This is what brought you to Coruscant now. The council had requested you be the one to report to them on your last mission, only you. To say you had been nervous was an understatement, you could tell something was up, you were getting one of your feelings again, and that was never a good sign. They had all been more silent than usual as you’d given your report, only speaking after you had nothing left to say. They then informed you of their worry and even though you denied this and tried to reassure them that there was no reason for concern, they said they had already made the decision before your arrival. You would be reassigned to a new unit, which one they hadn’t figured out yet, but promised that decision would be made as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you were being sent to Kamino to assist Master Shaak Ti in overseeing the training of new cadets, a decision you were sure was made to immediately distance you from your company, who were currently back on Coruscant on a short leave.
You had accepted this change with as much composure as you could muster, while feeling as if you were falling apart on the inside. The hardest part was telling your men.
***
“What, they can’t do that… can they”, Treun asked out loud when you’d given the news.
You sighed. “I’m a jedi, I serve the council, so technically, they can do whatever they want with me and place me wherever they see fit”, you told him.
Another trooper chimed in, “You know I’ll never understand all these rules you jedi have. I mean what is so wrong about having friends, we’re the ones who always have your back, keep you breathing, or do they not even care about the safety of their own knights?”
“That’s not what this is about, Fuse”, you said somberly. “They think I’m getting too attached, and to the jedi attachment can be very dangerous, they don’t want me letting my emotions drive my actions, impede on my duties as a jedi.”
Thrash met your gaze with eyes that made your heart hurt from the amount of sadness that filled them. “And General Di is okay with this”, he asked.
You looked to your feet before responding, “He doesn’t really have a say, but he did agree that it might be good for me to get some distance, take a good look inward and figure myself out, which means a lot of meditation on my end.”
There was a light chuckle. “Sounds fun”, Quip said sarcastically, and you sent him a small smile, appreciative of his efforts to lighten the mood with a little joke, as he always did. However, it didn’t exactly do the trick this time.
They all went silent, not knowing what they could say to make this situation less depressing, nothing could do that. They felt this was all very unfair, as did you, even if you understood why it was happening.
“I’m going to miss you guys”, you said, trying to keep the tears at bay.
They all looked to you with sad expressions. “We’re gonna miss you too (Y/N)”, Treun said, his brothers all slowly nodding in agreement.
You made sure to give each and every one of them a tight hug before leaving and making your way to the hangar, where a ship was waiting to take you to Kamino.
***
As you walked you let your mind wander to your captain. Where was he, you hadn’t seen him since before your meeting with the council the day before, and he hadn’t been there when you gave the bad news to the boys. Was he avoiding you, did he blame you for this sudden turn of events, or worse, did he think you chose this? No, you told yourself, don’t be stupid, he knows you better than that, he knows you’d never willingly leave your men, leave him. So where was he?
You began to worry, not wanting to leave, for who knows how long, without first saying goodbye to your best friend.
Your worry quickly dissipated when your ship came into view and you saw Keeli standing near the entry ramp, clearly waiting for you. Your feet were moving before your mind could catch up, and you were running toward him, halting abruptly once you reached him. Breathing heavily, you beamed up at him.
“Keeli, am I glad to see you, I was worried I wouldn’t get to before I left”, you said, slowly catching your breath.
He smiled down at you, the kindness in his gaze so potent it made your smile widen even more.
“You really thought I’d let you leave without a proper goodbye? (Y/N), I thought you knew me better than that”, he said.
You shook your head. “You’re right, I’m sorry, it’s just that, when you weren’t in the barracks with the others and I couldn’t find you, I got worried”, you admitted.
His smile widened at this. “You were worried for me”, he asked. It was rhetorical.
“Well yeah, you are my best friend ya know. You’re important to me, so yeah, I worry about you”, you say, crossing your arms over your chest and jutting a hip to the side.
He loved when you acted a bit sassy, it was endearing, and admittedly, kind of adorable.
“Well, your concern is greatly appreciated, and I’m sorry for worrying you, I just needed some time to do some thinking is all”, he told you, and you gave him a look, which he was quick to respond to. “Nothing to be concerned about, I promise.” This seemed to ease your worry, your face relaxing into a soft smile. “Besides, I wanted to be the one to give you a proper send off. Seeing as I’m your best friend, I’d like to think I’m just a bit more special than the rest”, he said with a light humored tone.
You chuckled. “Of course your special Captain, the most special in fact”, you replied with the same energy.
He laughed at your comment before slowly letting his expression fall, his face now holding a despondent smile. Yours now looking very similar.
“I’m gonna miss you”, he said sadly.
“I’m going to miss you too”, you replied in kind.
You both stood there for a minute just looking at each other, sharing a somber gaze, before a voice was heard from the top of the ramp ahead of you. “General, we must be on our way”, one of your escort troopers announced.
“Yes, I’ll be along in a moment, thank you”, you responded, sending the trooper a reassuring wave over Keeli’s shoulder. You then look back to your captain, smiling softly. “So, I guess this is goodbye”, you said.
“For now”, he said with a smile of his own.
You nodded once, sharing in his hopeful demeaner for the time being. “For now”, you agreed.
Keeli then extended a hand to you. You looked at it with a bit of confusion, but took it anyway, accepting the rather formal gesture.
“Goodbye General.”
“Goodbye Captain.”
You released his hand and made your way past him to the ramp. You’d made it half-way up before stopping, fists clenched and tears slowly filling your eyes. You then turned suddenly, seeing your friend walking away, almost dragging his feet as he did. “Keeli”, you shouted to him.
He turned to see you running to him, and, as if on instinct, he held out his arms to catch you in a tight embrace, dropping the helmet he’d been holding to the ground in the process. You let a few tears escape and fall down your cheeks as you held him, arms wrapped around his neck and holding on firmly, as if easing it just a bit would cause him to disappear before your eyes. He held you with the same intensity, and you stayed like that for a long moment.
“Stay safe okay”, you finally spoke, trying to keep your voice from wavering too much.
“You too”, he said into your hair before you felt a light pressure from the swift kiss he’d left there. This caused a few more tears to fall before you pulled away, wiping them away with the back of your hand.
You made your way back to the ramp, stopping at the top to send one last glance to your friend. He smiled and raised a hand in a final farewell. You returned the gesture before the ramp retreated into the vessel and the giant door closed, cutting off your view completely.
***
Once the ship had made it far enough out of the planet’s orbit and you entered hyperspace, you’d excused yourself to the private quarters they had provided you for the short trip, saying you needed to meditate. This was accepted and you were left alone for the next few hours. After you entered the small room and sat on the bed, however, you released all the emotions you’d been trying so desperately to hold in the whole day, and let the silent tears flow freely, light sobs accompanying them.
You knew, ultimately, you would be okay, but for now, you needed to let this out, lest it build up and come out at a less convenient time. So, you did, you let all the sadness, all the hurt, and all the worry out, so that after, you might be able to focus on what was next for you.
Perhaps being stationed on Kamino wouldn’t be so bad. You liked Master Shaak Ti, she was a kind woman, and you’d get to see where your men got their start, learned all those skills they’d been kind enough to share with you. You were upset sure, but you decided to not let it consume you, and you allowed your natural curiosity to take over and pique your interest in visiting the planet again, and therefore brightening your spirits just a bit.
Yeah, this won’t be so bad, and I’ll simply take things as they come, that’s all I can do. You mentally reassured yourself before crisscrossing your legs on the bed, placing your hands atop your knees, and closing your eyes, falling into a calming meditation.

The words slip salaciously past your lips as you detach them from his pulse point, cocked into a smirk and swollen with intent.
“My good, obedient Captain.”
Beneath you, the length of Keeli’s neck glistens with the evidence of your affections, jugular christened and blooming with the beginning of a newly-born bruise - the sight of it reminds you of a hot, freshly pressed wax seal on a love letter’s envelope.
But there's still so much more that you long to write across his skin before you can allow him to fold beneath your fingers.
You run them down his chest now as you pull back to loom over him, the heat rising from
between your bodies in such thick ribbons that you’re positive you could reach out and chase it through your digits like vapour. His abdomen flexes as you finally graze across it, and ever so slightly, his torso lifts to chase the warmth of your touch as though the reaction comes as naturally to him as breathing.
But still, he behaves himself, slumping backwards on the tail of his next breath, knuckles kissing the headboard of your bed as his hands lay compliantly still atop the pillows. You hadn’t even had a chance to properly restrain him yet - but his body had fallen into a familiar dance the same moment you’d both stumbled into bed together.
The trust in his heavy gaze has your head spinning just as much as the unfiltered desire that smoulders alongside it.
He’s so good that you can’t help but want to spoil him, just a little more.
The captain’s burning eyes follow your path as you come to a rest upon his thighs. Despite the moments of weakness that occasionally crack his disciplined resolve, he always appears so at peace beneath you. Tonight is no different, with the fire licking at his expression cooling slightly to an intimate simmer as you reach out to gently stroke your fingers across his stubbled jaw in a gesture that drips with pure affection.
Maker do you adore this man with every fibre of your being.
He’s at once the sharpest, but softest being you have ever touched - like gravel layered with velvet - so sharply focused at all times, that initially you feared simply brushing past him would cut you to ribbons. How glad you were to be proved wrong time and time again, as gradually, fate wound you closer together until you were finally able to crack into that gilded core of his.
Those dark eyes plead with you now. Whether it's for you to move and put him out of his misery, or begging you not to stop twisting his heart further around your finger, you’re unsure. But still, you smile all the same as you begin to slowly, tortuously, grind down against him.
He’s hot, heavy and slick between your thighs as you tease him against the heat of your entrance. The head of his cock dripping onto the defined stretch of his stomach with how desperately his body calls out to you.
But still, his voice remains silent. Trained, steady breaths the only thing to leave his throat despite the evident throb that pulses through the entirety of him - one that threatens to tie his heart in knots in its wake. You can practically feel it humming across each cord of muscle as he struggles to hold himself together.
He’s just so good - and you tell him so again, gasping it out now against the fresh love bites painting his neck as you finally sink down on him until your hips sit plush together.
Keeli cries out for you at last, the sound of his voice deliciously broken as he keens into your open mouth.
You can taste the beat of his heart on your tongue.

The keeli section in the master list is looking a little bear I think it's time for more keeli content. So have any head cannons?
OH BOY DO I
Captain Keeli relationship headcanons (SFW and NSFW)
SFW
We all know Keeli is an absolute sweetheart
He’s caring as hell and he’s very observant
So it didn’t take him long to fall for you when you fell for him
Keeli would bring you flowers and take you out to some cute dinner
Once you two begin dating Keeli starts coming over
He can’t afford to take you anywhere really, so he tries to have wonderful dates with you at your place
Keeli can cook and bake!! He’s amazing in the kitchen
He always wears some frilly apron with some funny words on it just to make you laugh
Keeli loves making you meals and sweets!
Your date nights are mostly just both of you in soft pajama pants and t-shirts while watching movies or TV
Nothing is better than cuddling with your favorite captain!
You are not allowed to watch any new episodes of your favorite TV show without Keeli
One time he came back from a mission and saw you watching the show, he was very dramatically hurt by it
Keeli is kind of a goofball sometimes, he just loves seeing you smile and laugh
Keeli will take you out on dates sometimes, and when he does he always holds your hand
He doesn’t care about PDA, he’s happy with you and that’s all that matters
He won’t take you to a bar though. Keeli hates drinking, but he doesn’t mind if you do.
Keeli says he gets angry and weird when he drinks and he doesn’t like that
Every second with you matters to him because he misses you so much when he’s away
When he’s away on missions he always tries to comm you so you can know that he’s alright
He always makes up for being away by bringing you beautiful flowers or a trinket he found on the mission
Keeli loves his hair and beard almost as much as he loves you
His hairstyle is very high maintenance, and he loves it when you help him
He’s puddy in your hands when you help him with his hair
(I wrote a fic on this, find it here!)
Keeli also loves his tattoos, which he’ll show off often
He has two tattoo sleeves that are filled with the same patterns he has shaved into his hair
He has two ram horns, like the ones from his helmet, tattooed over his heart
He also shows off his earrings, which are just simple studs
Once you introduce Keeli to a bubble bath there is no going back
His new favorite thing is taking a nice relaxing bath with you
Keeli loves to cuddle, but he is HOT. He’s a living space heater
You start keeping your place colder just so you can cuddle him and not sweat
Sometimes Keeli has nightmares or has trouble sleeping
It helps him a lot if you hold his head against your chest, letting him hear your heartbeat
Once he’s relaxed he’ll talk about what’s troubling him
He loves talking to you about his issues! He loves and trusts you. He has no need to keep secrets
Keeli is a better listener though, he loves listening to you and helping where he can
Keeli likes to talk about the possibilities of a future with you
You both begin to plan your life out for when the war is over
Keeli just loves you with all of his heart and he makes sure to say it as often as he can
NSFW
You how Keeli has high maintenance hair? Well the carpet matches the drapes.
He takes pride in it.
Keeli isn’t the most experienced guy, but after a time or two he knows what he’s doing
Like all clones, he’s a quick learner with an amazing memory
So he knows just how to get you to scream with pleasure
Keeli is a huge tease in bed
His favorite teasings are to edge you and to overstimulate you
He always makes sure you cum a few times, he’s too caring to leave you hot and bothered
Keeli enjoys hearing your beg, but he won’t ask for it a lot
He’s a switch.
Please top Keeli, he’s a good boy
He is very vocal as well, he never holds back his noises of pleasure
When he’s being pegged/dicked down or ridden he moans like a bitch in heat
He loves it when you tease him and edge him, he’s good at whimpering and begging
He’s very patient though and has great control, so getting him to beg may be a challenge
Keeli is pretty kinky and is really down for anything that doesn’t require hurting you
He’ll totally talk about your kinks and what you two want to try
He won’t hurt you in a hitting way, that doesn’t mean he won’t go rough
Sometimes when he’s stressed he rails you so hard that you can’t walk the next day
Keeli loves using you as stress relief
He loves the slow and soft intimate nights the best though
Keeli always makes sure to make the best of the night
You know how I mentioned Keeli likes bubble baths with you?
Well that almost always leads to bathtub sex
Keeli is a huge tease whenever he can be, so his hands are never to himself
Especially in public, he loves making you flustered
Keeli will fuck you in public sometimes, it depends on how desprate he is
He’ll do quickies, but he doesn’t prefer them. He feels like you don’t get enough pleasure from them
He is amazing at oral!! If he eats you out his beard kind of tickles, but it just adds to the sensation
Keeli loves receiving oral, your hot tongue and warm lips are his weakness
He’ll cum wherever. Your mouth? His pants? Between your legs? On your chest? He doesn’t care
He has a breeding kink like all clones, but he knows that’s something for your future together
Like I said, he’s a patient boy.
Keeli is amazing at aftercare!! He always makes sure to clean you both up with a warm damp towel
Once you’re both relaxed he’ll ask if you want to take a hot shower with him, where he washes you and makes sure to help you feel refreshed.
You always fall asleep in the warm embrace of your favorite Captain
