Studio Bones and his adaptation

On the one hand I like that the Bones Studio has animated the capypaland arc, on the other not because they took things out of context (as in all anime, like when ebisu dies in Bishamon's arms and not in Yato's arms)

Idk, but I have a REALLLLY strong feeling that Yato’s Father’s eyes are going to be like Yato’s BEAUTIFUL eyes. I mean, Yato’s eyes are magnificent and honestly I feel that no one else can have those eyes but like if you give it a thought...... No really. Adachitoka have kept hiding Yato’s Father’s face and eyes for a very long time and if they can make Fujisaki kiss Hiyori at Capypa Land(😭😭),  I am pretty sure they will get something that will hurt readers even more.... I mean, can they make it any worse ?

Hiyori and Yato

tbh i’ve been thinking about them a lot lately for some reason. i keep thinking how hiyori managed to remember yato because of his scent

anyways

Do you think Yato really truly loves Hiyori or is kinda obsessed since she's shown him genuine care?

I doubt Yato has ever been in love so he doesn’t understand the concept. Yato is a complete dork who doesn’t know romantic gestures, like that hand kiss at Capypaland didn’t faze him at all, but if he was trying to do it in a flirty way he would’ve fucked up. I’m just waiting for him to go all shoujo like ‘W-what is this feeling in my chest?!’

As for obsession, I wouldn’t say he is. Yes, there were a few times when Yato got jealous over guys Hiyori talked to (if my memory is correct, this was around the time he learned Father was a schoolkid but didn’t know what he looked like yet). There was the time when he was wearing her uniform and drawing her because he missed her after decided that if he left her alone then Father wouldn’t attack her.

I see this things as tiny parts of the manga that were for shits and giggles (although I don’t condone his behaviour), or just to show how overprotective he is of her when all the Father shit was happening.

It’ll be interesting to see if there is any romantic development between Yato and Hiyori. We’ve had them both protecting each other and Father asking Hiyori if she loves Yato (and pretty much confirming it) but a possible canon relationship in the endgame of the manga is unlikely unless the circumstances are tragic.

I have been toying with idea since summer 2015. Originally started out as a Post-Capypaland (post-chapter 42) fic, I decided to incorporate it into my "Lovely goddess" (or possible familiar)theory. Because that is the best feasible outcome possible. Look at Tenjin, guys. He was a human once, too (Sugawara no Michizane, If my memory serves me right). That and I refuse to let Hiyori go the way of "shinki" unless it was a last resort to save her soul. No way. Not happening here. We all saw what happened to Sakura and Tsuguha. So this also turned into a Tsukuyomi Theory fic after the first chapter. because that theory is SO headcanon it's canon...kwim? This story diverges from canon around chapter 58, and doesn't include the most recent manga arc as canon.

This story may take a while. But I promise to make it worth it.
