I..really wanted to show how important Raph was to the resistance, still I couldn't draw everything as this story is about Leo, but I hope captured the key parts of that. 

Leo, even though he's the official leader of resistance, still listened a lot to Raphs opinions and plans very closely and held his advice in high regard. After all, Raph's still the oldest and oficially the head of the family.

Cassandra trusted him more than anyone else, Raph was the first person she asked to help her with Casey junior. I think that sometimes she trusted him more with Casey jr, than she trusted herself...

I also wanted Raph here to take over the reins after Splinter, to become Master for the resistance fighters, who all looked up to him as the protector and caretaker, take Jenna for example.

Raph knew how many relied on him. He didn't want to let them down, Thus the trouble begun. Raph tried so hard to keep everyone safe, he forgot about himself or rather neglected his needs. One person can't take care of everything, especially during times as difficult as the apocalypse, without exhausting themselves to death.

Raph, being bigger than most, needed more food to stay healthy, but simply, there was not enough and on top of everything, he kept giving his portions to Casey or others.

He didn't sleep much, he didn't eat much.

The anxiety and stress physically exhausted him, to the point his body could no longer support his ninpo. 

If not for that, If not for the fatigue, the mental and physical exhaustion, the lack of proper nutrition..

Raph could still be very much alive. Who knows..?

Foot AU???? 👀 Cassandra Jones and her legion of cultish turtles.

In which the Turtle Gang are separated from Splinter as kiddos and instead raised by the Foot Clan-- alongside Cassandra! She's like their big sister, more or less, and the five of them run around doing cool evil ninja shit and get into way more trouble than they probably should. All five of them are completely and totally convinced of the validity and necessity of the Foot Clan's mission, and their loyalty is completely unshakeable! They'd all give up their lives for their clan without a second thought.

They are so dedicated to the clan, in fact, that when they meet another child, April O'Neil, on one of their outings by chance (and immediately hit it off with her,) it's really only a matter of time before they're able to convince her to run away from home and join them. She is eleven at the time, and while she doesn't fit in with other kids her age, she feels a connection with the turtles and with Casey that supersedes her suspicions. And so the Foot Clan gains a recruit. And with time, she, too, is completely loyal and dedicated to the cause-- to release Master Shredder back into the world and shape it in their image.

It isn't until Casey meets a rat named Splinter that she begins to question her life, her choices, and her allegiances...

And Casey just continues crying and hiccuping, arms wound tightly around the last remaining shred of his old family.

The one proof, that his world had happened.

Casey is bullied relentlessly because he was exposed that he simped for Larry the Lobster

JC and JJ are usually the ones to run errands for groceries and stuff

They’re a family but at the same time they act like a frat house

CC and Jay fight over seats 24/7 and will write their name on the seat to claim it, there is no seat in the house (or the car) that doesn’t have one of their names on it

Anytime Cass, Junior and Casey are gone for not even 5 minutes all hell breaks loose (usually involving Case, CJ and Jay)

So, a lot of people out there imagine fics in their head before bed, right?

And IDK why, but this past few nights, my brain has decided to make Casey Jones Jr SUFFER.

This stuff is TOO HEAVY ANGST. If I actually wrote it out as a fic, y'all would probably look at it and go "now this is TOO FAR." Hence the reason for this post. But SOMEONE has to suffer here with me. Even so, it might be TOO HEAVY STILL. BUT I NEED TO SCREAM IT OUT SOMEHOW! LIKE.

Okay, so.

So imagine CJ is getting used to living in the present timeline, right? He's a part of the family, no Kraang around, things are nice.

And then he realizes. The date he was born in the bad timeline is coming up, but Cassandra Jones isn't pregnant. In fact, the date passes, and Cassandra Jones still isn't pregnant or anything.

Huh, looks like Casey Jones Junior isn't gonna be born here. Looks like the only kinda of world he can naturally exist in is an apocalypse.

OH NO!

But you know who IS born that year? Leo's twins. Man, now that he's got some ACTUAL kids, maybe he won't need/want to be a pseudo dad to Casey.

CASEY NO!!

And the way everyone is with their kids reminds him of how they were with HIM when HE was a kid. And it hurts, because he wants to have that again. He wants to not be the only one who remembers that.

CASEY!!!!!

And then imagine the bad coping mechanisms he could develop for all of these feelings! Like, something like what happened in that Vape Mikey AU? Maybe... worse?

CASEY NO!! NO, CASEY!!!

Speaking of that AU, what if his source for this bad stuff is the Purple Dragons? What if he sometimes trades little bits of Donnie's tech for stuff?

NO!!! CASEY!! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE PURPOSELY TAKING THE STUFF HE'D DISCARD ANYWAY!!! HE'LL NOTICE!!!!! CASEY!!!!

And there are other people he could probably get the stuff from, and they'd take OTHER things in exchange for the stuff. Man, imagine if those other things resulted in stuff for Casey?

STOP STOP!!! HE'S SUFFERED ENOUGH!!!!

And then, of course, all of this culminates in an intervention from the fam. Because, despite Casey's best efforts to hide everything from everyone, they notice. And despite everything, Leo still sees him as one of his kids, dang it!

But I did get a silly goofy way to reimagine Woody Dirkins into Rise. imagine getting bit by a oozesquito, and the most change is that the blood hair & blue eyes intensify. And you also suddenly start meeting/interacting with all these mutants and yokai.

Casey Jones Vs. The Competition - A Ghosts of Our Days Minific

Being in a competition this big was no threat to Casey Jones, but finding out who he and Raph were up against was another story. It took them at least 15 minutes searching through the main board before- "Raph, look! There's us!" She pointed to the board and Raph let out a little "Huh." "Looks like we're up against... the Rise Addams Family?" "Like the TV show with the creepy little girl and the walking hand and the big silent monster guy? I always thought the mom on that show was so hot, the dad too-" "Casey, focus." In the distance, the duo could see four turtles, a bunny, and a human under a banner reading Rise Addams Family AU. As they approached, a girl with noose-like hair was the first to speak. "Are you the competition?" "Doesn't seem much like competition, it's just one guy!" An orange coded turtle towards the back of the group spoke up. "Two guys. One is no longer with us." "Guess we know why they're called Ghosts of Our Days." That came from a purple coded turtle, and Casey wondered if they were all the same as his own four mutant friends."Yeah, we're the competition. Are you guys Mikey, Leo, Donnie, and Raph?" "And Master Splinter?" Raph added.The noose hair girl nodded. "Yes. I am April. April O'Neil. We're very excited to be up against you." Her monotone voice made Casey unsure of her true emotion. "Uh, we're excited too!" "So who are you?" "Oh! I'm Casey, Casey Jones, and this is my boyfriend, Raphael!" Raph gave a soft wave. "There's no one else there." Leo deadpanned. "Didn't you hear me say one passed on? He's a ghost, dumbass." "Ohhh! Couldn't be me! I have a very much alive boyfriend!" Casey growled, but Raph held him back from any fighting. "Ugh, another fag." Mikey muttered in the background. "Shut up, Mikey!" Leo yelled back, burying his face into Usagi's fur. The two boys shared a look at each other, silently telling the other that this Addams group was going to be a bit of a challenge. Raph was having quite the conversation with the only person who could see him. "How did you die?" "Stabbed." "How unfortunate. Was it through the head, the chest, or abdomen?" "Um... chest." "Hm. How long did it take for you to bleed out?" Meanwhile, Casey walked over to see if anyone else in the group was remotely friendly. He decided to try the rabbit first. He was surrounded by his very clingy turtle boyfriend, looking mildly uncomfortably as Leo talked nonstop into his fur. "Hi there!" Casey waved, and Usagi smiled tiredly back. "What's your name?" "Miyamoto Usagi." "Whoda whatta?" He sighed."Usagi." "Nice to meet you, Soggy!" "Usagi." "That's what I said!" The rabbit rolled his eyes. "So, hows the dead boyfriend treating you?" Casey looked about to kill the bitch, a knife sliding into his hand from his sleeve in such a smooth fashion that Usagi flinched. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Jack Skellington." "And why not? Afraid I'll beat you in THAT competition too?" "In case you haven't noticed, you're losing pretty bad in the first one, idiot." Casey looked up in horror to see that yes, they were losing pretty bad to these people, but he had no idea why." "H-How is that happening?" "I don't know, maybe cause you pulled a knife on us?" "You dissed my boyfriend, loser!" "I don't think I'm the loser, Casey Jones." He snarked, walking off with Usagi still wrapped around his waist. "Nice to beat ya, clown!" "Ohoho, I'm gonna shove that knife so far up his-" "Case?" Raph gently tapped his shoulder. "We're already losing, Raphie, and we didn't even do anything yet!" "It's alright, Case. Least we have each other, right?" Casey perked up at that, smiling down at her boyfriend. "Yeah, you're right. If I've got you, who needs to win anything?" "You're already my favorite prize, Casey Jones." "Raphie!" It was just Casey Jones and Hamato Raphael against the world, but honestly? As long as they had each other, they had already won the entire competition.
