Mouawad Demi Parure
Tumblr media
Personal Jewels 2/?
Unfortunately gifts are not usually publicized anymore but sometimes assumptions can be made.
In December 2011 for the Sun Military Awards, Catherine wore a diamond and ruby necklace with a matching bracelet. This set of jewels was made by Mouawad and is assumed to have been a wedding present to the Duchess. It’s giver is not known. The set hasn’t been worn since but last year for the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey, Catherine wore for the first time the matching earrings for the set.
The necklace and earrings feature diamond circles with a modern style fringe from which are suspended ruby clusters in the shape of flowers. The bracelet consists of alternating diamond circles and ruby clusters.

11 Meaningful Pieces In Catherine’s Jewellery Collection That Belonged To Queen Elizabeth II
By Emily Chan
6 December 2023
Tumblr media
First worn by the Princess of Wales in June at the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Princess Rajwa Al Saif in Amman, Jordan, the Greville chandelier earrings were seen on Queen Elizabeth II throughout her reign.
The dazzling diamond earrings made by Cartier were a wedding gift to Her late Majesty from her parents – the Queen Mother had inherited them from Dame Margaret Helen Greville, a British socialite, in 1918.
Catherine was most recently seen wearing the jewels at a Diplomatic Corps reception at Buckingham Palace.
Tumblr media
On Remembrance Sunday this year, Catherine debuted a pair of diamond and pearl leaf earrings that were previously seen on the Queen during a visit to Nigeria back in 2003.
Some experts believe that the earrings may have been detachable pieces from the brooch featuring the same design.
Tumblr media
Commissioned by King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II’s Festoon necklace features 105 loose diamonds that her father inherited when he ascended the throne.
Featuring three strands, the monarch wore the piece on numerous occasions throughout her life, from attending state banquets to posing for official portraits.
The Princess of Wales paid tribute to Her late Majesty by wearing the piece for the official Coronation photograph when King Charles III officially assumed the throne on 6 May.
Tumblr media
The Princess of Wales wore Queen Elizabeth II’s three-strand pearl necklace – an item Her Majesty was famous for – during a Buckingham Palace lunch for the governors-general of the Commonwealth nations prior to the monarch’s funeral in September 2022.
Tumblr media
The then Princess Elizabeth received this jaw-dropping diamond necklace by Cartier from the Nizam of Hyderabad as a wedding gift in 1947.
Featuring a rose motif, the royal picked the necklace herself, along with a matching floral tiara.
The Princess of Wales first wore the statement piece at a gala for the National Portrait Gallery in 2014, before rewearing it at a Buckingham Palace reception for the Diplomatic Corps in 2019.
Tumblr media
Queen Elizabeth II was first photographed wearing these diamond and pearl earrings during her Silver Jubilee celebrations – marking 25 years on the throne – in 1977.
Catherine has sported the earrings a number of times in the past, including after Prince Louis’ birth in 2018 and while visiting Commonwealth troops ahead of the Queen’s funeral.
Tumblr media
Queen Elizabeth II commissioned royal jeweller Garrard to create this four-strand pearl and diamond choker, using pearls sourced from Japan in the early 1980s.
Princess Diana was loaned the piece for a state banquet in honour of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in 1982, while the current Princess of Wales has worn the necklace on several occasions, including for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s 70th wedding anniversary in 2017 and Her Majesty’s funeral in 2022.
Tumblr media
The Princess of Wales debuted Queen Elizabeth II’s emerald and diamond earrings during an evening reception in Jamaica in 2022, along with a matching bracelet.
Both pieces are from Her late Majesty’s emerald tassel suite, which the monarch first wore at a state dinner held for Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates at London’s Claridge’s Hotel in 1989.
Tumblr media
First worn by Queen Elizabeth II during the 1990s, the Princess of Wales has borrowed Her late Majesty’s diamond and pearl leaf brooch a number of times over the years, including on a visit commemorating the Battle of Passchendaele in Belgium in 2017.
Catherine wore the piece in tribute to the monarch while attending her funeral procession at Westminster Hall in September 2022.
Tumblr media
The sapphire and diamond earrings
The Princess of Wales borrowed Queen Elizabeth’s sapphire and diamond earrings for a visit to Edinburgh in 2021.
The sapphire earrings are part of a suite of sapphire and diamond jewellery by Asprey, which Her late Majesty added to her collection during the late 1970s.
The Bahrain pearl drop earrings
Featuring two pearls gifted to Her late Majesty by the Hakim of Bahrain as a wedding present, these diamond and pearl drop earrings were also worn by Princess Diana in the 1980s.
The Princess of Wales was first spotted wearing the earrings at a Remembrance Day service in 2016, before going on to wear them for Trooping the Colour in 2019 and Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.

Note
She has given the same pair to every female in the family.
KC not only notoriously has a great taste in jewellery, but he’s gifted Catherine some as a wedding gift. And we assume he’s done the same to MM. So, she’s either changed it like she did with her engagement ring or she’s keeping it for the funeral. No way in hell she’d miss the opportunity to flaunt the King’s gift to his “darling daughter-in-law” if she had them. Nor do I think the jewellery being on the US would stop her, she’d beg someone to bring it to her.
He gave her a diamond encrusted bracelet she wore at her wedding. At least that was what was reported at the time.

Queen Victoria Oriental circlet
https://royalwatcherblog.com/2021/01/22/queen-victorias-oriental-circlet-tiara/
Quote from the link
"Queen Victoria designated the Oriental Circlet Tiara as an Heirloom of the Crown upon her death in 1901, “to be worn by future Queens in right of it”. "
Queen Mary's Crown (with and without arches in the photo)
https://www.rct.uk/collection/31704/queen-marys-crown
Queen Mother's Crown
https://www.rct.uk/collection/31703/queen-elizabeth-the-queen-mothers-crown
The Diamond Diadem 1820
https://www.rct.uk/collection/31702/the-diamond-diadem
"The diadem has been regularly worn and slightly altered by subsequent queens regnant and consorts from Queen Adelaide onwards. First worn by HM Queen Elizabeth II to the first State Opening of Parliament of the reign, 4 November 1952, and on the journey to her coronation, June 1953"
These will only be reserved to Camilla when Charles becomes king. I don't know the protocol, so she might enter the Abbey bare-headed and exit with one of the Crowns reserved for queen consorts (my bet is the Queen Mom's as Charles was really close to her). Or she could enrer with the diamond diadem and exit with the Queen Consort state crown.
These 4 are 100% just Camilla as they are reserved to Queens. Not even Catherinne can wear them. Only when William is king she can.
Camilla will also retain in her rotation the Honeycomb tiara and the Dehli Durbar.
Catherine will either use her loyal Lover Knots or could get Q Alexandra diamond Kokoshnik or Queen Mary fringe tiara (the ones you already posted). I don't see the Vladimir being loaned for the occation and I've a feeling it will be reserved to Camilla as it has both pearl and emerald so more useful than others.
The Girls of GB and NI is the Queen's most cherished and favourite one and we have come to identify the tiara with her. I have a feeling the Queen might leave it to Prince William, so Catherine can be the one to wear it after her death. She has let only Catherine wear very cherished pieces of jewelry (Philip's bracelet wedding gift is an example). I don't see Catherine wearing it at the coronation, unless the Queen has asked her to. Then she will comply.
As for Anne and Sophie they will wear one they have usage of and both Zara and Louise will wear one belonging to their mother.
I din't see Beatrice being borrowed the fringe. If Fergie isn't invited as she might not have remarried Andrew, then I could see Eugenie wearing her mom's and Beatrice wearing either the Greville emerald kokoshin (the one worn by her sister at her wedding) or the Strathmore tiara (it belonged to the Queen Mom).
Meghan will be just be given the one she married in if she is invited. No attention for her in a new tiara. That solves the problem.
As for the Lotus and the Halo I think they are in Catherine's rotation (at least the Lotus) so I don't see them being borrowed on that day.
The Aquamarine tiara and Burmese tiara (worn by the Queen) will enter Camilla's rotation. Not sure about the Burmese as she could leave a ruby tiara to Catherine since she would already have the Oriental circlet.

Chapter 43: A Costly Tradition
“I think you will be quite pleased, your royal highness,” the jeweler, Arthur Van Doorne, said confidently. “We have created two rather lovely sets for your review, designed to your specifications, of course.”
Tumblr media
“I can’t wait,” Stephen said. “I don’t think Elizabeth will be expecting this – although she should, of course, as Weston’s new princess.”
“Indeed, sir,” Van Doorne said. “First, the sapphire collection you requested.”
“Alisha?” he called. “I hope you do not object, your royal highness, but I have asked my daughter to model the jewels so that you have a better idea of how they move.”
Tumblr media
Van Doorne’s daughter, Alisha, entered the room, modeling a breathtaking set of diamonds and brilliant blue sapphires. Stephen’s eyes widened slightly as he took in the necklace, earrings, brooch and tiara.
“Exquisite as always,” Stephen said, admiringly. “How many carats?”
Tumblr media
“Four hundred sixty four, across the entire collection,” Van Doorne. “The largest stones are approximately 24 mm in length and weigh in at 18 carats each. As you can see, they are all top-quality stones, and share the same velvety blue hue. In fact, some of the stones you see here are from a Napoleonic necklace we acquired at auction several years ago. Add to those another 260 carats in white diamonds, and the result is ... impressive”
“To say the least.” Stephen said. “And the cost?”
“For the entire collection, $3.7 million,” Van Doorne replied, matter-of-factly.
Tumblr media
“Very good then,” Stephen said. “And the diamond set?”
“Of course, your royal highness,” Van Doorne said, nodding to Alisha, who returned to the back room.
Tumblr media
“The jewels you are about to see date back to Imperial Russia, and were originally from the private collection of Empress Catherine the Great. We have, of course, given all of the pieces you see here a facelift for a more modern presentation.”
Tumblr media
Stephen gasped despite himself as Alisha entered. The massive diamond necklace, earrings, tiara and brooch glittered in the warm lighting, this time joined by an exquisite diamond bracelet.
“I think we achieved the perfect balance of historical majesty and modern sensibility,” Van Doorne continued. “You’ll notice the outstanding brilliance of each stone used. It’s difficult to find large stones of this quality today.”
Tumblr media
“It’s … it’s magnificent,” Stephen said. “But ... well, don’t you think it’s a little over the top?”
“Not when adorning a reigning princess, your royal highness,” Van Doorne said. “But I leave that to you to decide. But I must say, a find like this comes along only once in a lifetime.”
“Evidently,” Stephen replied, still staring. “How many diamonds?”
“Over 800 in total, your royal highness,” the jeweler replied proudly. “These are all brilliant white diamonds ranging between 1.5 and 10 carats, except for these here, which weigh in at 16 carats.”
Tumblr media
“Spectacular,” Stephen said. “Well, Van Doorne, you’ve outdone yourself, as usual. I’m so happy mother introduced us.”
“The dowager princess has always been such a gracious and lovely customer,” Van Doorne said. “She has exquisite taste, and wears my jewels sublimely.”
“So, what’s the cost for this set?” Stephen asked, his cool exterior a façade.
“Well, due to it being a set of such immense quality and historic significance, we have set the price at $10.5 million,” Van Doorne said.
Stephen’s heart sank, and his face must have betrayed his disappointment, as Van Doorne quickly followed up.
“However, given your family’s longtime loyalty to our firm, I can reduce that price to $8.5 million – if you purchase both sets, of course,” Van Doorne said. “Consider it our wedding gift.”
Tumblr media
Stephen sat studying the jewels quietly. Together, that was $12.2 million, and, after his conversation with his finance minister earlier in the day, it certainly caused him to pause.
“Fair,” he said. “But I’m afraid that, given my recent contribution to the Grenville Bay project … well, I’m afraid that $10 million will have to be my limit today.”
“I hate to see these lovely gems leave Weston,” Van Doorne scrambled. “So I will agree to the $10 million, if I may make one request. While we have created a majority of the crown’s jewelry for two generations, your grandfather – and your father after him – never consented to name us the official crown jeweler. As you can guess, that distinction would be quite valuable to us as a business....”
Stephen’s heart leapt.
“I will surely grant that request, my dear Van Doorne,” Stephen said, extending his hand. “In fact, I’ll have the royal warrant issued as soon as I return to the palace.”
Tumblr media
Van Doorne’s face lit up as he shook Stephen’s hand. “Oh, thank you, your royal highness,” he said. “We are honored.”
“Good,” Stephen said. “Then we have an agreement at $10 million?”
“Of course, your royal highness,” Van Doorne said. “I’ll have the pieces delivered to the palace tomorrow.”

WALK, WALK, FASHION BABY | The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in a deep red ensemble for the rainiest Order of the Garter since the 18th Century. She teamed a bespone Catherine Walker coat, with a matching under dress, that she had previously worn during her tour of Canada in 2011. Her hat, which was previously worn during the Diamond Jubilee Thames River Pageant, was made by milliner, Sylvia Fletcher for Lock and Company. From the same event, she brought back her Alexander McQueen Skull Bow Clutch (modified, with the skull removed) and, from her own wedding, she rewore her Robinson Pelham diamond acorn drop earrings. Catherine wore new Gianvito Rossi heel and brought back her unidentified diamond bracelet, thought to be a private gift from Prince Charles.

Diplomatic Corps Reception Through the Years
In preparation for the Diplomatic Corps Reception on the 11th of December this year, I’m going to walk down memory lane to see Kate’s sartorial style at these white tie events over the years and drool over the jewelry. I’ll be focusing on the Diplomatic Corps Reception only (DCR), not state banquets. Things are going to be a little jumbled as Kate often rewore her gowns in those first few years and we hardly ever got pictures inside the reception until these past two years or so.
2013
Tumblr media
This was the Duchess of Cambridge’s first tiara event sine her wedding and I think Catherine surprised every one by NOT wearing her wedding tiara. For many royal brides the wedding tiara loaned from the Queen is their go-to tiara for many, many years. For example, Diana was only ever loaned the Lovers Knot. Sarah was given the York Tiara only. Sophie wore her wedding tiara for years before she was loaned another. So it was surprising but it was a pleasant surprise. Here Catherine is wearing the Lotus Flower tiara, a favorite of Princess Margaret. It’s a beautiful tiara to shift into after wearing the smaller Cartier Halo Tiara. The Lotus flower tiara is small and dainty yet with just enough height to give it some oompf.
Tumblr media
Catherine paired the tiara with Chandelier drop earrings on loan from the Queen. There aren’t any good pictures of the dress (from 2013 at least) but it’s Alexander McQueen.
2015
Tumblr media
In 2014, the Cambridges were in New York and missed the DCR. So we’re jumping ahead to 2015 where Kate wears the same dress with the first good picture of it but with another new tiara. I think every royal watcher collectively gasped when we saw she was wearing the Lovers Knot tiara. If I recall correctly, this was her first time wearing it. Even though she wore the same dress and that was a little disappointing, the jewelry more than made up for it.
Tumblr media
With the tiara Catherine wore the Queen’s chandelier drop earrings and TWO diamond bracelets. You can hardly see it but she is in fact wearing a diamond bracelet on her right hand. I’m not sure which is on which hand but on one hand she’s wearing the Queen Mary Diamond Bar Choker bracelet, below.
Tumblr media
And the other hand she’s wearing the Queen’s Wedding gift bracelet, a bracelet made from a tiara that belonged to Princess Alice of Battenburg that Phillip broke apart and rearranged.
Tumblr media
2016
Tumblr media
2016 was the first year we got a full shot of everyone at the DCR, a rare gift. Since you can’t really see Kate, here’s another shot zoomed in.
Tumblr media
We have Catherine in the Lovers Knot tiara again, diamond pendant earrings on loan from the Queen, and it looks like the bracelet is the Queen’s Wedding gift bracelet. The red dress is Jenny Packham and is a rewear from the State Banquet for China in 2015.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2017
Tumblr media
We did not get full shots inside the DCR in 2017 which was a bummer because I STILL want to see this dress the DOC wore but it was reported the gown was Jenny Packham. For jewelry, Catherine pulled out the Lovers Knot tiara again and paired it with Diana’s Collingwood pearl earrings. But the show stopper this year was the diamond collet necklace on loan from the Queen. HMTQ has a few collet necklaces in her collection but the issue with these are, we never know which one someone is wearing because they’re literally just strands of diamonds and they all look alike. But it’s gorgeous and I would LOVE to see Catherine wear it again.
2018
Tumblr media
2018 was my favorite year! Catherine literally LOOKS like a princess. This beautiful Cinderella dress is by Jenny Packham and pinned to it on a yellow ribbon is the Royal Family order. This marks the 2nd time Kate has ever worn it. Paired with the tiara are Diana’s Collingwood pearl earrings and it looks like Catherine is wearing Queen Mary’s Diamond Bar Choker bracelet. No ID on the bag, sorry. This is seriously my favorite white tie look of Catherine’s. In two days time we’ll see if she can top this look in my books.
Thanks for reading all! That’s a wrap on the DCR looks through the years.

this is happy for my friend claire, who absolutely hates it when i write sad fics✨
Queen of my heart - Parrlyn
Anne and Catherine Parr had been together for 2 years now, and neither of them could have been happier.
But it had been 6 months since Anne decided she wants to spend the rest of her life with Cathy, and after finally asking Catherine of Aragon for permission to wed her god daughter, Anne was finally ready
“Happy christmas, babes” Anne says pressing a kiss to Cathys lips as they sit at the table, “You too.” Cathy says softly smiling at her girlfriend, “Finally Anne! you took forever, can we exchange gifts now?” Kat begs the other queens who nod with a laugh
As the six of them gather into the sitting room, they began to exchange gifts, Anne had gotten all of the queens the same gift, a bracelet with the words ‘Long live the queen, I love you.’ engraved it in, causing many tears to shed from Jane, as well as Catherine but she was gonna admit that it was the gift that made her cry
“Cathy, I actually have one more thing for you.” Anne announces causing the other queens to look at her in confusion, excluding Catherine, “I thought we all agreed on one gift?” Jane asks in confusion, Anne smiles “Cathys my girlfriend, she deserves two.” She points out causing Jane to nod in understanding
Anne hands Cathy an envelope, with ‘𝒯ℴ 𝓂𝓎 𝓆𝓊ℯℯ𝓃, 𝒞𝒶𝓉𝒽ℯ𝓇𝒾𝓃ℯ.' written on the front, “Is this appropriate to read aloud?” Cathy asks with a teasing grin on her face
Anne acts offended “Of course it is!” She says laughing, causing Cathy to raise a brow “are you sure?” She asks suspiciously, but it’s all thrown out the window as Anne gives her a soft smile with a nod
“My dearest, Cathy.” The girl began to read aloud “These past two years, 7months and 25 days(but who’s counting?) have been the best ones of my life.” Cathy continues “I’m no writer, but, I hope when you read this you can finally grasp how much love I hold for you.” Cathy says as she smiles down at the paper
“Before you came into my life, I had no idea what love truly was, sure, I have had many suitors, and married a king, but, none have ever made me as happy as you.” Cathy continues as happy tears begin to fill her eyes, the other queens slowly catching on to what Anne was doing as they saw her pat down her pockets
“Meeting you was a fate I was blessed with, but loving you was beyond my control, yet it’s something i’m so glad happened. You are the Queen of my heart, and it’s something I gladly let you rule.” She says as tears slowly fall onto the paper, “When I found you I stopped searching for answers on why I was beheaded, though I always kind of knew why, but I stopped searching because you are all I needed, my day is not complete unless I tell you I love you” At this point Anne had pulled out the box, holding the diamond ring she had bought just a few days prior
“I want to hold your hand, laugh at your jokes, walk by your side, snuggle into the couch, looking into your eyes and kiss your lips every single day, so with that, I have one more thing I’d like to say..” Cathy finishes realising the sentence never finished, she looks up not realising Anne in front of her on one knee “You didn’t-” she cuts herself off as she notices the ring and Anne in front of her
“You mean the absolute word to me, Catherine Parr, and it would mean the world to me if I were to be able to call you mine forever, will you marry me?” She questions as tears fall from Cathys eyes
“Yes you dense idiot! Of course I’ll marry you!” Cathy cries out as she throws herself at Anne, kissing her passionately as the two fall to the ground, unknowningly to them, Jane had taken several photos
As the two pulled away, the two girls stand up as Anne places the ring on Cathys ring finger as the other girls start yelling congratulations as well as questions
“I love you, Catherine Parr”
“And I you, Anne Boleyn.”

Evening gala celebrating Princess Catherine
After a nap and some lunch, Amalia and Freddie began to get ready for their night out to celebrate their friend. Amalia wore the Cartier tiara Fredrik had gotten her for their first anniversary. It was quickly becoming her most used and absolute favorite tiara. She wore an amathyst and diamond set in gold necklace that coordinated with her rich purple one-shoulder gown. Her bracelet had been a wedding gift from her in-laws and her earrings had first belonged to Queen Maud, Freddie’s great-great grandmother.
The couple spent the night eating, dancing, and catching up with friends. It was truly a night to be remembered.

The Prince Philip Wedding Bracelet
Prince Philip was deeply involved with the design of the wide diamond and platinum bracelet  that he gave to the Queen as his wedding gift. The diamonds came from his mother’s tiara, where he also used the diamonds for the Queen’s engagement ring. The Queen wears this bracelet often at night or when in full ceremonial dress for a public event such as the Opening of Parliament.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has borrowed this bracelet from the Queen on a few occasions, such as the State dinner with China (Catherine in red above), and to the 2017 BAFTA’s (close-up of Kate’s hands)

Kate Middleton Wears Full Military Gear as She Visits Armed Forces Training Academy | PEOPLE.com
Kate Middleton is thanking the troops. In honor of the UK's Armed Forces Day on Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge shared pictures from her visit to the Pirbright Training Academy last November.
During her day at the academy, the royal mom of three, 40, spent time with the 101 Operational Sustainment Brigade at Abingdon Airfield to learn about how new recruits and serving personnel are trained.
The princess also wore full armor while taking part in some of the training exercises.
Kate made time to talk to personnel to learn more about their time in the British Army.
Kate posted a touching tribute alongside the photos on social media. Today, on Armed Forces Day, William and she would like to pay tribute to the brave men and women, past and present, serving in all armed forces, at sea, on land and in the air, here in the UK and around the world, she wrote.
She continued by thanking them for their families' sacrifice to keep them safe.
Kate promised to continue visiting the armed forces with visits to the Navy and Air Force and said she looked forward to learning more about the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force UK in due course before signing off with a simple C for Catherine.
Meanwhile, Kate and her Prince William, 40, recently viewed a special piece of artwork — their first official joint portrait.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on hand for the painted portrait's unveiling during a visit to their namesake county of Cambridgeshire. The couple received the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge from Queen Elizabeth on their wedding day in April 2011.
William and Kate stopped by the University of Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum in the heart of Cambridge, where they viewed the painted artwork as it was revealed to the public for the first time. The piece was commissioned in 2021 by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, which is held by the Cambridge Community Foundation, as a gift to Cambridgeshire. It was painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth.
In the portrait, Kate wears her metallic emerald dress by The Vampire's Wife, which she wore during the couple's visit to Dublin in March 2020. William is seen in a dark suit and a blue tie.
In the painting, Kate also wears sentimental accessories. The Duchess of Cambridge is wearing pearl and diamond earrings, that belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. Collingwood jewellers gave Diana the stunning pieces as a wedding present, and they are now part of Kate's collection.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore another piece from Princess Diana's jewelry collection: her three-strand pearl bracelet, which Diana famously wore with her "Elvis" outfit.
Following their viewing of the piece, Kate and Prince William met with project supporters, including the artist. They also met with Lady Sibyl Marshall, the late Sir Michael Marshall's wife, who proposed the idea for the portrait in the first place.
