Touch

Touch touch touch.

Everyone seems to want my touch and I never seem to dole it out enough. I always think I am, I make conscious efforts to show my affection but it’s never right.

I do it the wrong way.

At the wrong time.

Never enough.

I don’t know why, but I’ve never felt comfortable touching people at will. Doesn’t matter if we’re dating, monogamous, engaged, I’ve never felt entitled to touch someone whenever. I’m an observer mostly.

I like to watch the faces you make when you think, play games, watch movies.

I like to watch the way you watch me.

To watch you solve problems.

It seems like touch will always be an obstacle for me. Even at my big age. With as much as I’ve done in life and experienced I still can’t figure out when people need my touch. I still can’t see it.

We're still short-staffed @ work and with my manager on vacay, it's just me and the awesome temp holding down the fort. Plus with allergies deciding to attack me like I personally offended each and every Cottonwood tree in the entire fucking state... yeah... it's been a week™, regardless that it's only Tuesday.

That being said... I think I'm going to start posting the dozens of random drabbles that I start here on the laptop. At least until I get another one of my finished stories queued up and work more on Judgement.
