Okay he is... 90% finished. His hat is the next thing but here's my little guy!

I based the pattern off a Mickey tsum tsum I had. Be glad I didn't take a photo of Mickey's face pinned to Buggy's. I almost did. I used felt sheets, thread, and embroidery floss for this. I had planned to embroider his nose and eyes, but getting the eyes the same size and shape would have been impossible, so felt pieces were used. That allowed for his blue lines over his eyes and the cross bones to be done easier with the floss.

His hair is two layers with stitches only holding it down in certain spots as well as the part. This allows it both to pay flat but also poof up where it needs to.

I plan to do his hat as well at some point but I'm happy with what I have so far! He turned out about what I expected. I have basic sewing skills and did this all by hand. He's pocket sized.

With felt you have to be careful sewing just because it pulls apart so easily, but since I wanted to get him figured out, I'd consider making him again with different materials.

Adding that the fanart of him looking like this and someone either chomping him or squeezing him is an absolute mood.

I am trying to attach wooden art hands to the armature of the arms of my next furby project. Does anyone have advice on how to do this securely? I would absolutely appreciate any suggestions on how to do this or resources that are out there that I haven't been able to find yet.

ㅤhuh. while not the first time they've stumbled across an abandoned plushie, it's not the most common occurrence either. nudging the toy with the toe of their boot, rolling it over onto its back, byan drops to a crouch for a closer look. interesting. it's not a character they think they've ever seen, but it's oddly colourful for a dinosaur. it's cute though, and looks to be pretty well made, not to mention well loved. must've been lost by some poor kid who's probably missing it desperately.

tattooed fingers reach out to grasp the plushie after a few moments, byan making a face when they realize the thing is soaked. giving it a gentle squeeze to wring most of the water out, they rise to their feet and brush some of the dirt off its fur. they can give the plush a new home, right? give it a good wash and place it next to all the other plushies that decorate their side of the room? this one might be a little out of place next to all the pinks and pastels, but... it feels like such a shame to just leave it out here.
