In Cecil's humble opinion, it's not that bad than 'Metal Mouth', but he's not really fond of the nickname)

Background:

He was born in Marseille, France to a famous historian father, Francis Sinclair and a famous supermodel mother Angelica Sinclair (neé Zieliński), and is the great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson to and a descendent of the 14th mayor of Bullworth, Hugo Sinclair. Atticus's father's side of the family has been in politics ever since the 1820s while his mother is from a middle class family with no connections at all until her model career starts to take off very well. The Sinclairs have been old money since the mid 1870s and is a very well respected family, especially in the world of politics. Cecil's father and mother first met at the apartment in the Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York when they bumped into each other and the rest is history (*wink* *wink*). When they got married, they went to Marseille, France for their honeymoon and that's when Cecil was born. Francis named him Atticus (Cecil's first name) after his favorite character from How To Kill A Mockingbird, his favorite book and also the movie adaptation. Cecil growing up was quite serious about his studying, after Francis light-heartedly said to him, something about your future depends on studying and having good grades and Cecil has thought about that over and over again and took it very seriously. He didn't want a bad future, a future where he doesn't know what to do in life and ended up having no jobs due to his grades, not going to universities and not having a diploma!!! It's a nightmare for him, so he studies everyday and that makes him kind of isolated himself from his family and peers. He didn't even bother to ask his parents 'how are you?' or something that is going on involving them, he always has a book in his face or even his messy notebooks which contain his notes that he's always reading or writing during dinner. So the parents were growing tired of it and when Cecil was 11, they sent him off to Bullworth Academy. The school he could say was.. 'Obnoxiously weird' (if that makes sense to anyone else) but of course, what school would be there in Bullworth other than this school. None. Later, he joined the Nerds clique and the rest is history

Personality:

Most people considered him as a 'studying obsessed freak' due to him always studying anywhere in school or even outside of the school, he always worries about his grades and not the people he cares about, which makes them have mixed opinions of him. He has the tiniest temper ever, if someone interrupts him or distracts him from him study, he would yell at them with no hesitation or even throw some small objects at them. He's quite controlling over his friends if they do not take their grades seriously, he's like a parent figure to them who's strict and always tells them to study. He would ask them to join him for a study group or else... Or else he would do 'something' that he might not regret (but in reality, he doesn't know what to do if they reject him) but nevertheless, his friends join him in the study group. He's a perfectionist when it comes to his grades and studying, it's not something that is considered healthy but he just can't seem to stop, it always bothers him if he doesn't study in a day or if he forgets to study. He studies until the side of his fingers has bruises on them or studies until the ink of his pen is completely empty. Although Cecil hates bullies, he actually doesn't care if someone is getting bullied, right in front of him or not. In his opinion, it's their problem not his and instead of helping the victim, he continues to study or ignoring them. He's easily annoyed at the smallest, tiniest thing ever, if he finds a tiny dirt on his shoe or a dirt on one of his books or even a mistake in his exam paper, he really gets bothered by it but the only thing bothering him the most is the smallest mistake on his exam paper that makes him study even more. If it gets out of control, he would play chess with one of his friends or by himself while listening to his favorite songs, it calms him immediately and releases his stress

Overall, Cecil only cares about his grades (and his future also) and nothing else

--- he's a member of the newspaper club and he pretty much writes about 'school politics' as Cecil likes to call it (meaning he writes about school presidents and class presidents and writes about them as if they're real presidents. And also, he writes about current school events). He puts his full name, Atticus Cecil Sinclair on every school newspaper

why can Cecil be shipped with literally everyone… Cecil and Debbie, it works cuz he was there for her when her husband left, does everything he can to protect her. Cecil and Donald, office romance where they’re both gay and repressed and Donald takes care of Cecil when Cecil’s too busy saving the world to take care of himself. Cecil and Nolan, Cecil is the only human who’s powerful enough to dominate Nolan, who deep down appreciates being challenged for once. Cecil and Mark, or honestly Cecil and any of the heroes that work for him, it’s this age gap power imbalance where Cecil sees himself as owning/controlling the people that work for him, controlling their pleasure, despite the fact that they could easily overpower him. Cecil and Conquest, they’re lonely old men who never got to have a life outside of the horrible things they do for their respective planets.

Thank you so much!! There will be more CecilQuest coming soon, but for now I decided to branch out a little and play around with a D.A Sinclair and Cecil dynamic, and I got inspired to make this.

D.A Sinclair only looks up to those who are at a similar level of intelligence or even higher level of intelligence than him (if that was even possibility in his mind.) and Cecil fits the bill to him for basically all the wrong reasons. Cecil is very much disturbed by Sinclairs behavior and his actions, but putting all his crimes against humanity aside, he’s gotta admit that the guy is brilliant. So he thinks to himself - “What the hell, sure.”

Lynette, Cecil and Joo-yeon's opinions + interactions with @aquaberryvanilla's Nora Dorn

Lynette

Opinions: she thinks Nora is a brat but at the same time, Nora is not THAT bad, well at least that's what Lynette thought before actually encountering Nora. Lynette doesn't really expect her to be different from the preps, and is annoyed by Nora's behavior but Lynette gets that she has to be rude back towards people who are rude to her, Lynette has been there before and she's no angel (she once broke someone's nose). Apart from that, Lynette hates when people think that violence is the answer (unless SOME deserves it...) and there're multiple ways to make people go away, and that is threats (in Lynette's opinion, it is not violent at all)

Overall, Lynette understands Nora but still thinks she's a brat

Interactions: although she hates treating people differently, she would only scold Nora and that's it due to Nora being from a rich family and she's also a prep, Lynette has been dealt with preps threatening her that they would tell their parents about it and their parents have connections to almost everything, so she kind of stop doing much more than a scolding. She would say to Nora irritatingly, "did I tell you you could walk away?' if she walks away from her, the AUDACITY Nora has and Lynette is literally older than her, where's the respect??? I feel like Lynette would give up on scolding Nora (which is so rare for her to do that) if she keeps on insulting her or giving mean comments when Lynette is around, she can't keep it up anymore and she feels like she's drowning in a pool of Nora's hatred towards her

Opinions: he knows who she is due to both of their moms being friends and he doesn't really have any negative opinions other than her being a 'dumb and snobby prep' in his eyes. He doesn't expect Nora to be rude towards him since he's from an old money family but he would be annoyed if he sees Nora bullying his fellow nerds even though he doesn't give a damn about somebody bullying somebody. He would probably know Nora's secret crush on Derby, which is not a secret at all because it's really obvious to Cecil and he's, like, so confused because what does she see in him? Money? Anyways, Cecil would be kind of flustered if Nora flirts with him because he finds Nora a little bit attractive but nevertheless, she's not... His type. He would see right through her of Nora's act of being nice towards him and Beatrice because he saw many incidents of Nora being mean towards his other fellow preps and he thinks it's because of pretty privilege, Cecil and Beatrice being the only two nerds who are decent and somehow attractive

Overall, Cecil doesn't mind about Nora except for the fact that he finds her dumb and snobby prep

Interactions: if he finds Nora bullying his fellow nerds while he's studying, he would either throw a book at her (specifically at her head) or slam his hand on the table so that it can make a loud noise that makes Nora stop and turn to look at Cecil. He would take off his glasses for Nora when she asked him to do so, and it's not even the first time a girl asks him to take off his glasses, he would say to her in a teasing but blunt voice "are you satisfied?". He would NOT give Nora his study notes, he would tell her to do it herself and telling to stop being lazy but that ended up with them arguing over study notes

Joo-yeon

Opinions: she would think of Nora as someone who's mean but not really mean after seeing her being nice to her fellow preps. Besides that, if she finds Nora being confused as to why Joo-yeon is a tomboy rather than a girly girl type of girl, she wouldn't understand why Nora would be confused about that, any girl can be whatever they want and not only just being a girly girl. The second thing she doesn't like about Nora is that she laughs when Joo-yeon falls to the ground due to her clumsy nature and even though she's used to it in her entire life, she doesn't like how Nora laughs at her :/

Overall, Joo-yeon doesn't really have any other opinions of Nora and she thinks Nora is kind of nice, especially towards preps

Interactions: Joo-yeon would be embarrassed and annoyed as hell if Nora laughs at her for falling. It's not her fault that she's clumsy and she tries not to be but fails

Cecil:

You're sitting in his lap as he's filing a report. He's got his arms wrapped around you from the back, chin resting on your head. His eyes are half-lidded, both from exhaustion and his love for you. Every now and then, he leans down to give you a little kiss. You can feel his love for you against the small of your back.

Donald:

You're also sitting in his lap, but you're facing him. You're melting in his large figure, his fat squishing against you. He's flustered, looking off to the side as he hugs the ever-loving shit out of you. The result of his crush on you mixed with all his stress is, very apparent.

Sinclair:

The most flustered out of all of them. Refuses to look at you, but will NOT loosen his grip on you either. His hold is almost possessive, like he's scared something's gonna steal you from him.

Smithy:

He's got his arms stretched to wrap around you so many times you are bundled up. There's no way you're getting away from him. He's smiling brightly, grinning even. He squeezes you, nuzzling his head in the crook of your neck.

I'm annoyed with Mark because he doesn't seem to realize that rehabilitating criminals is arguably the most ethical option. But he probably just thinks that bcs Nolan taught him that criminals = inherently evil and bad forever. Because Nolan groomed him from birth to be a colonizer douchebag, however unsuccessfully. So fuck that guy

I'm also annoyed with Cecil because what he's doing is absolutely not rehabilitation. He used the word "reprogramming" on purpose. You don't turn DA Sinclair from a sadistic twat into a guy capable of teamwork that quickly with ethical rehabilitation practices. Or those dystopian anarchist freaks? They would never work for a.governmnet agency. I'm betting there's something going on in those white rooms that breaks the Geneva convention ten times over. Like actual psychological torture. Or drug experimentation, or something. Crimes against humanity all around. To make sure relapse into evil isn't an option.

So that's cute.

I just feel like Mark has a really strict set of beliefs on how criminals should be punished (prison), not knowing that the prison system if hella corrupt anyways and a scrawny ass Severus Snape knockoff with that big of a mouth (you know the one) would get actually murdered. Like he'd die bloody. But Mark doesn't look beyond that because he's been taught to have absolute trust in authority + the systems put in place. he can't see beyond what's right in front of him, or doesn't know to look

on the other hand, Cecil looks too much towards the whole "greater good" thing and less to the "ethics" thing. And I'd argue that rehabilitating da Sinclair would have been a great choice. Use your resources, blah blah blah. But I don't think that's what he's doing. Which is problematic. Because how do we show Mark that criminal rehabilitation is, in fact, okay, when the only people he's seen be rehabilitated are people who hurt him directly and who have probably been given corrective brain surgery. Seriously Cecil what the fuck does "harsh psychological reprogramming" mean why did he word it like that
