Sandra, Emie, Rhubie, and Shappie's Pixelated forms Here's Sandra, and the trios's pixelated forms fun fact Sandra's Japanese name "Koriazuma", mixes from the words "Kōri" which means ice, and "Inazuma" which means lighting, she's going to have both element types. Emerian's Japanese name "Denkiono" , mixes from the words "denki-no" which means electric, and "Kemono" which means beast. Emie is also part of an electric species, just like Sandra. Rhubian's Japanese name "Kuchiakuma" fuses with the world "Kuchi", which means mouth, funny enough because his mouth is hardly shown. It also fused the word, "akuma", which means demon, because... his design is based on a demon... I guess. He's also part of a demonic species. Shappiereon's japanese name "Kounakuneko" comes from the word "Kōun no bake neko" which means ghost cat of luck( or maybe lucky ghost cat). Like Violet and Rose, he's also part of a ghost species.

On this reel I collect most of my animated pieces of work of 3 last years, except the great material I've generated working as Lead Character Animator in the cel animation feature film "The Ledge", by the colombian studio "Dinamita Animation" and under the animation direction of Pablo Navarro, from whom I've learned a lot and who has worked on films such as "Klaus" by SPA, between others (this is because the film has not yet been released).

You can see all the credits and roles on Vimeo video.

The music fragment on it it´s called "The Russian" and it belongs to band “The Bees”.

(Special thanks to my talented colleague Cintia López a.k.a. "Kimita Kubayashi", who helped me with the graphic design of the final).

Finally, I can share the trailer of my independent short film (離風藍蘭), which has been invited to several festivals for its premiere! Two and a half years of self-animating, painting and producing, it is to honour my sister’s passing. Ultimately, this project became my refuge from pain and an act of love

Nevertheless, thanks to my family as always.

Update, I figured out how to make the 90s anime filter, so that's why I updated again

I actually had a thought, when I was in high school, I really enjoy pixel art and graphics. I guess it was one of the inspirations for my project "Random-Island".

I've never gotten to do it earlier, but here!

How Beanee, Violet and Rosie look like in pixel form!

Fun Fact

Beanee's Japanese name "Kyokisa" comes from the word "Kyōki" which is Japanese for Madness. Explains one of Beanee's character trait.

Violet's Japanese Name "Murasakira" comes from the word "Murasaki" or purple in Japanese. Because she purple, obviously.

Rosie's Japanese Name "Akuhina" come from the word "Aka" or red in Japanese. Like Violet, Rosie's name is also base on a color, likely because they're twins... so.
