Rereading Fool’s Fate and there’s a casual mention of Celerity of Bearns being rumoured to be witted and I was delighted to have her mentioned.

I don’t know why I’m so fond of her. But now I am.

I didn't include Wintrow bc I think there are better options for the poll and also I like to think he would be more like an uncle figure to Paragon, even if it contradicts canon.

I think Carson would be a better dad compared to Sedric because we already saw him mentoring his nephew and the keepers. But I felt bad including him and not Sedric, since we didn't really get a chance to see what Sedric could be like as a father. So they are here together.

Others I thought to include are Duke Brawndy of Bearns(Faith's and Celerity's father) and Tommie Tenira(Grag's father, he seemed nice from what I remember), I think they have about the same level of relevance as king Eyod.

If she could have ridden off with Fitz to assassinate people and get revenge, she would have, I bet.

Assassin’s Quest reread: notes and forgotten facts #4

The youngest Ivy Runner was 11 year-old Pansy, who managed to deliver her message to the Duchess of Bearns after having escaped Raiders and burned down their leader’s tent

Duke Brawndy had a third daughter (besides Faith and Celerity), who died alongside him during the raid of Ripplekeep

When he arrives in Pome, the last town before Tradeford, Fitz smells so bad that the innkeeper forces him to take a bath before going to his room

Farrow colours are gold and brown

The name of Queen Desire’s royal line is Mountwell

What happens to Celerity? Do we ever find out? I’m rereading the Farseer trilogy and I’ve got to the point in Assassin’s Quest where Fitz is on his way to Tradeford, but in the chapter opening section in italics it talks of Duke Brawndy and how after his death his daughters continued resisting the Raiders and I suddenly wonder what becomes of them. I can’t remember the name of her sister, or anything about her, just that Celerity was sweet even if she wasn’t who Fitz loved and I really can’t remember anything about her beyond the bit where Shrewd wanted Fitz to marry her. I hadn’t even remembered until this reread that she and Fitz had met and were friendly.
